Estudo e adaptação de indicadores para avaliação da salubridade ambiental em municípios de pequeno porte na UGRHI 13 – Tietê Jacaré (SP)
Abstract
Sanitary and environmental conditions are essential to guarantee local development and promote health to the population. Thus, aspects such as the provision of treated water, collection and treatment of sanitary sewage, collection and final destination of solid waste, vector control, reduction of infant mortality and conditions of socioeconomic aspects. This work aimed to adapt the 1999 Environmental Health Indicator (ISA) method published by the São Paulo State Sanitation Council (CONESAN) and to apply Water Resources Management Unit (UGRHI) 13 in municipalities (Tietê Jacaré). The methodology included: a) collection of statistical data by digital platform; b) scraping (data scrapping) of statistical data and creation of a database with the collected information, c) elaboration for adaptations of indicators by 1st and 2nd degree equation, c) calculation of environmental health by the method adapted through of a fork (fork) of the ISA Calculator tool, made in Python. The municipalities selected for adapted ISA were those with less than 50 thousand inhabitants contained in UGRHI 13, which includes 34 municipalities. Thus, 28 municipalities met this criterion. Of these, 21 of them did not present information in the National Sanitation Information System (SNIS). For the remaining 7 municipalities, the adapted ISA calculation indicated that all reached a healthy situation (76 <ISA <100), these being Agudos (ISA = 82), Arealva (ISA = 84), Areiópolis (ISA = 86) , Bocaina (ISA = 95), Boracéia (ISA = 92), São Manuel (ISA = 94) and Torrinha (ISA = 82).
