Implementação de treinamento para padronização de normas de biossegurança no LaFaC, LaTecC e LaDABio
Abstract
This work shows the current worldwide relationship with Biosafety protocols in Laboratories, presenting the main practices to guarantee a safer environment for handling living beings. The Department of Chemical Engineering at UFSCar currently has biotechnology laboratories that present microorganisms that require safe handling and, therefore, adequate training of users. Previous work by the group identified the main improvements that could be applied in the training offered to users of LaTecC, LaFaC and LaDABio, such as organization of access and standardization of training materials. In this context, Google applications were used to centralize training and control their execution for teachers and students who make use of these laboratories. For this, a policy was developed in which the recurrence of training, responsibilities, where to find the training and a menu to consolidate good practices for the use of laboratory space, which may even be used by other interested groups, are presented. The training consists of six modules and six assessments to assess user learning. The implementation in PoCA (Portal de Cursos Abertos - UFSCar) is a suggestion for future works related to the topic.
