Resumo
The Post-Occupancy Assessment (POA) is a tool that aims to support improvements in subsequent projects and to develop constructive innovations. Linked to the process of construction of Housing of Social Interest (HIS), it can become a tool to reduce the housing deficit and improve the quality of life of users. The objective of this work was to evaluate the post-occupancy under aspects of urban infrastructure, temperature and humidity, environmental comfort and pathologies in a set of HIS in the city of Indaiatuba/SP. The method used is based on a descriptive and exploratory research of a case study to collect environmental and constructive variables, such as internal air temperature of housing units, constructive pathologies and urban infrastructure conditions of a housing complex of social interest. Temperatures above the comfort zone, pathologies and deficiencies in urban infrastructure were identified. In this case, the application of the APO method can contribute to the improvement in future HIS projects based on qualitative variables of a housing project. Thus, the application of APO can influence the processes of building maintenance, urban infrastructure and improving the quality of life of its inhabitants.
