Doses de vinhaça no pegamento e crescimento inicial de mudas pré-brotadas de cana-de-açúcar cultivadas em casa de vegetação
Abstract
The cultivation of sugarcane pre-sprouted sugarcane seedlings (MPBs) associated with vinasse fertigation can reduce the cost of production and increase the productivity, longevity and quality of sugarcane fields. However, the vinasse which is, mainly, composed of organic matter and potassium, when applied in excessive concentrations, causes the process of soil salinization and “burning” of the seedlings.Thus, the aim of this work was to verify the setting and initial growth of sugarcane pre-sprouted seedlings with the application of different doses of vinasse in the aerial part of the plants, cultivated in greenhouse. Five treatments were tested, named by T1, which did not receive the dose of vinasse; T2: 15 mm of vinasse; T3: 30 mm of vinasse; T4: 60 mm of vinasse; and T5: 90 mm of water. Two applications were made for each treatment, half of the dose on planting and the other half, 30 days later. The stem diameter, plant height, tiller number and potassium content added to the soil were evaluated. The experimental design was completely randomized with 12 replications, resulting in 60 plots. It was concluded that the treatment related to the 60 mm blade favored the setting and the initial development of sugarcane pre-sprouted seedlings. The plants fertigated with 15 mm of vinasse died durig the experiment. The increase of potassium was considerable and it attributed improvements in the chemical aspects of the soil.
