Controle de Eleusine indica pelo herbicida pendimethalin sob diferentes quantidades de palha e após diferentes períodos de seca
Resumen
In this work, the objective was to evaluate the effect of pendimethalin on Eleusine indica in different periods of drought and with different amounts of rain, in order to observe whether it would be an option in controlling this weed, which is already resistant to herbicides, such as glyphosate itself. The experimental design adopted was completely randomized, for each amount of straw, in a 5 x 4 scheme, with four replications, with 5 rain depth simulations (0, 10 and 20, 10/10 and 20/20 mm) and 4 periods of drought (0, 10, 20, 40 days after application), in addition to controls without application of the product. The herbicide pendimethalin was applied to straw or directly to the soil at a commercial dose of 1365 g a.i. ha-1. It was observed that the best control parameters were obtained when applied directly to the soil, with a dry period of 0 days. It was also assessed that in other dry periods the best behavior was with a rainfall depth of 20 mm.
