Análise e comparação de resultados de um controlador usando lógica fuzzy e outras formas de controle para irrigação
Resumo
Agriculture is indispensable to the way human society currently lives in the world, as it is the source of most of the food consumed by humans across the planet. In this sense, irrigation is a very important process, as it allows for the control and improvement of production since the beginning of human sedentism, given that the societies that developed the best since antiquity were those that used irrigation systems, such as the Egyptians, Romans, and Mesopotamian peoples. Given this importance, it is necessary to consider the best way to carry out the irrigation process. This work aimed to compare different forms of irrigation control, among them traditional controllers and manual irrigation systems, and to verify which is the most efficient and viable form among them by comparing soil moisture levels, water savings, and controller performance based on classical criteria. The aim was to compare these traditional control methods with a controller that uses fuzzy logic and the Arduino platform through the practical implementation of some controllers and a literature review to gather existing comparisons. In the end, it was possible to conclude that the control with fuzzy logic presented better results, with greater water savings and less overshoot, although it had a slower response compared to other types of controllers, even with its faster start.
