Explorando equações algébricas com materiais didáticos
Abstract
A present work aimed to explore the potential of the Golden Material, along with mention of other didactic materials, as a resource for teaching and solving first, second, and third-degree equations through a literature review. The research focuses on analyzing existing studies and approaches that explore the use of these materials in teaching these mathematical equations. Despite the discussion on other didactic materials, it is important to emphasize that the main focus of practical application in the school was exclusively on the Golden Material. This was introduced in a school environment, specifically focusing on second-degree equations, with the aim of understanding how students would react to this method. The main objective is to analyze how the Golden Material can contribute to a better understanding of the concepts involved, favoring the development of logical reasoning and promoting a more grounded learning experience for students. By exploring relevant bibliographic sources, this study seeks to provide elements to enhance educational practices related to teaching first, second, and third-degree equations, enriching the teaching-learning process in the field of mathematics.
