A Trajetória de uma escola cooperada: do ideal cooperativista à realidade de mercado. As vicissitudes da participação de cooperados e professores.
Abstract
This work is case study researches about the trajectory of a cooperative
school of basic education, located in São José do Rio Preto, inside of São Paulo state. The
study has raised possible reasons in order to explain why in a school of cooperativist proposal
and organization and in which parents and teachers who are supposed to take part in this
process don t act as expected. Theoretical references have been studied in the national and
international literature about cooperativism, political- pedagogical proposal, school
administration and market politics. The dissertation begins with a chapter about cooperativist
ideology. It goes over the cooperative and the educacional center, political-pedagogic process.
The third chapter analyses the statutary alterations, the exhaustion of the assemblies in the last
chapter we measure the capitalism and middle class market interferencies and implications in
cooperatives in general, especially in COOPEC school. It is concluded that the cooperative
democratic administration is seen as threatened by the lack of cooperativist ideology in
parents and teachers, the directory staff authoritarism, the market lack of confidence and the
reorganization of public school network.
