Mapeamento comportamental nos JRPGS – uma análise de sentimentos dos personagens de final fantasy VII remake

Final Fantasy VII Remake is an electronic game released in April 2020 for the PlayStation 4 that uses the mechanic and narratological structure of Final Fantasy VII, released in 1997 for the PlayStation, in order to create a reinterpretation of the same audiovisual work using technological resources contemporaries of their time. However, when consuming the content of both games, one notices not only media differences, but also behavioral differences when taking into account the narratological structure of some of their characters. The present study aims to examine dialogues and scenes from these two electronic games through computational algorithms for analyzing feelings to obtain data on the behavioral pattern of its main characters, and thus identify whether there are changes in their attitudes along the narrative of Final Fantasy VII Remake. The results showed that Cloud, Tifa and Barret had significant sentiment changes comparing both games.
