Although the telecommuting or home office modality already exists, with the Coronavirus pandemic, the practice of working outside the offices has intensified. With the end of the isolation caused by the new virus and the consequent return of face-to-face activities, we sought to understand, with this research, the advantages and disadvantages of the home office and telecommuting from perceptions shared by employees of the selected company. The study was developed from interviews and questionnaires applied to workers of a company in the acquiring sector. As a result, the main problems pointed out by the workers were inefficient communication with teammates in the home office work model and the distance to the workplace in the face-to-face regime. It was concluded that most employees prefer the hybrid work model to reconcile the advantages existing in both work models: face-to-face and home office.
