Diferentes meios de cultura no cultivo in vitro de três genótipos de roseiras

Rose is considered one of the most important cut flower species in the world, and the main propagation systems have been cuttings and grafting. However, the micropropagation of roses has been applied for the production of genotypes free from pests and diseases, as well as in the genetic improvement with the use of biotechnology. Among the biggest challenges of the wider use of micropropagation are the high costs and low yield of seedlings, and the presence of physiological anomalies such as early leaf abortion and difficulties with in vitro rooting. Thus, this work aimed to develop a study on the effects of the culture medium, especially the saline formulation, on the rooting process of three genotypes of rose bushes in vitro. The culture medium showed a significant result for seven of the eleven biometric parameters evaluated, number of roots, length of the largest root, fresh mass, fresh mass of shoot, fresh mass of root, dry mass, dry mass of shoot. The interaction between genotype and medium was significant for number of leaves, dry mass of the root, number of roots and length of the largest root. The isolated effect of the genotype was significant for number of leaves, length of the largest root, number of roots, fresh mass, fresh mass of shoot, fresh mass of the root, and total dry mass. In general, the results were very heterogeneous, and it was possible to observe that, according to the parameter, a given medium was more suitable - More restrictive media such as WPM and A4 promoted better results for number of roots and length of the largest root while MS and B5 were linked to significant results for total and aerial fresh pasta - and even within a certain genotype there was no difference between the media for most parameters, as occurred with the mixed genotype compared to the orange and bluegenotypes.
