Produção de um roteiro de observação sobre a acessibilidade em espaço não formal de educação: um estudo sobre o zoológico de Sorocaba
Abstract
The objective of this study is to discuss the accessibility and inclusion of people with disabilities in zoos, based on the creation of an observation guide for accessibility in these spaces. The work involved, in addition to theoretical grounding, a visit to the selected zoo, which provided observations and photographic records. The methodology adopted for the study included a discussion of the concepts of inclusion and accessibility and how these themes are applied in environments such as zoos. Some regulatory documents were referenced for the production of the observation guide, allowing for the identification of accessibility conditions present at the site. The visit to the zoo allowed for the identification of infrastructure and services offered in accordance with legal requirements. However, there are still significant gaps concerning accessibility for people with visual and hearing impairments. These areas require structural and service improvements to ensure an inclusive experience for all visitors.
