This study describes the use of oxo diperoxo molybdenum (VI) complex using 2,2-bipyridine and N,N -dioxide-2,2 -bipyridine as ligands for the oxidation of a series of aliphatic and aromatic sulfides, ketosulfides, sulfinyl acids and olefinic sulfides. The preparation of these complexes, the reactivity and the chemeoselectivity in these sulfides oxidation reactions are discussed. This work also describes the enantioselectivity results obtained for the oxidation reaction of a series of alkyl aryl prochiral sulfides using the MoO5(N,N-DMLA) chiral complex. The enantioresolution of the series of alkyl aryl sulfoxides, using chiral polysaccharide stationary phases, in multimodal elution, is also demonstrated. The reactivity of MoO5(pyridine oxide)(H2O) complex, coated and uncoated to silica gel, for the series of alkyl aryl sulfides oxidation reactions were also thoroughly evaluated for comparison with the results obtained in previous studies with a different series of sulfide. The result obtained in this work discloses that, in these oxidation, reactions the reactivity depends, not only of the used complex, but also, of the nucleophilicity of the used sulfides. The preparation of MoO5(N,N-DMLA) chiral complex, by a variety of methods, and the characterization of the obtained products by infrared, ultraviolet 13C-NMR, microanalyses and optical activity are also reported.

Coffee is an important product of Brazilian agribusiness. Nevertheless, the commercial evaluation of its quality is based upon subjective methods and this requires the methodologies development that provides information on differences of coffee chemical composition of different traits. The current work describes the application of multivariate analysis methods, mainly in NMR data, in order to verify chemical differences related to certain attributes that determine the coffee quality. In this work, the specie used in the brew preparation, defective coffee beans, adulteration with barley, the effect of temperature and time on the roasted coffee composition, cup quality and production mode were studied. In the first study, it was determined the main differences between the composition of arabica and robusta coffee discriminating both species and was determined the content of each one in blends. In similar study, were discriminated blends of coffee and barley and was determined the percentage of this adulterant added to the coffee. In this case, comparing to NMR, the infrared spectroscopy also shows great efficiency for the same purpose. In the study of defective coffee beans were verified greater changes in the chemical composition of black beans compared to the non-defective coffee besides the discrimination of all kinds of defective beans analyzed; green, sour, and black. Considering the production mode, were discriminated coffees produced conventionally and organically. The higher acetic acid content in the organic samples was determinant to this discrimination. Considering the cup quality, efficient chemometric models were obtained to classify the samples with different qualities - soft, hard, and rio. The lipid compounds were important to this classification and were identified by using HR-MAS technique. In the study of roast degree it was verified greater influence of the temperature in the chemical composition changes from roasted coffees and it was possible to discriminate samples that were submitted to several conditions of time and temperature during roast process.

The school manager as knowledge articulator, using as one of the instruments the Politic Pedagogic Project to formation of your teachers in the school daily, it is the study object of this work (dissertation). The work has as objective to proportion a reflection about of the manager function, as he can organize the school space and the times to formations, discussions and experience exchange as: H.A.C. (Time to Collective Activity), classroom and grade reunion to knowledge management and teaching formation. In the empiric plan, it searches keeping an eye on the manager, the co-coordinator and the teachers in 2005, and consequently the students of Fundamental teaching Municipal School Teacher Francisco Fernando Faria da Cunha, through of school revenue presented in reports. Limited the study of this school about of the initial delegate objectives, it decided utilization of the case study investigation that will permitted through of the interview with the observed school manager of the analysis of documents, occurrences in the school during the searching, a deepening respecting of formation places as Collective Activities Hours, reflection about four classroom and grade reunion, analyze of reports of these reunions and as result, the teacher was positioned as object and agent of your formation, having as eminence three competences: to know relating and to know relating yourself, to know organizing and to know organizing yourself, to know analyzing and to know analyzing yourself; having the school manager effectively as principal character in this process; that is; a reflexive teacher, constructing your action-reflection according the manager your action and organization in the school daily.

Vitrocerâmicas do sistema Li2O - Al2O3 - SiO2 (LAS) via sinterização com cristalização concorrente
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2007-03-02) Soares, Viviane Oliveira; Zanotto, Edgar Dutra; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1055167132036400; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3453493533943934
LAS (Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2) glasses have been often used to produce glass- ceramics with near zero thermal expansion coefficient. These glass-ceramics are very important for applications that require high thermal shock resistance. However, they are still produced by traditional techniques, such as melting and forming followed by internal nucleation (induced by the addition of catalysts) and crystal growth in the volume of monolithic glass pieces. An alternative route for the production of glass-ceramics is via sintering of catalyst-free glass particles with controlled surface crystallization. The purpose of the present work was to determine the appropriate compositions and sintering conditions to produce dense LAS glass-ceramics having almost null porosity. Three compositions were analyzed to achieve near zero thermal expansion coefficient. The precursor glasses were analyzed by thermal analysis, and the glassceramics were analyzed by X-ray diffraction, optical microscopy and electron microscopy. Dense glass-ceramics were obtained with porosity below 1.5%. The results show that reduction of crystallization by an ion exchange promotes sintering. However, the high amount of vitreous phase present in these samples increases the thermal expansion coefficient. At least for one composition we obtained a glass-ceramic having a porosity of 1.4% and a thermal expansion coefficient of 0.5 x 10 -6 °C-1, a value similar to that of vitreous silica.
