In this master‟s research, we analyze discursively as Brazilian political be made in derision in the print media. Based on theoretical and methodological assumptions of discourse analysis of French orientation, we work more specifically with the genre charge. This charge is conveyed by the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo during the last three presidential terms (1998, 2002 and 2006) and gave the circular images derisions the then president Fernando Henrique Cardoso and the actual president Luis Inácio Lula da Silva.
