Estudo da cristalização da frutose em diferentes meios

The phenomena of fructose crystal nucleation and growth in different media, and its water and ethanol/water solubility curves, which were the base of this process, were studied through the fructose crystallization process. The main objective of this work was to study the process of fructose crystallization in solution by partially changing the solvent in attempt to perform a more efficient crystallization. This change was studied by adding ethanol as a fructose anti-solvent and miscible in the solution with the intention of reducing solute solubility. The addition of a second compound to the medium generated the conditions to the fructose effective crystallization. Information that make it possible to improve the control of crystalline product final properties, such as crystal size distribution (CSD) and crystal habit, were obtained from the completion of the present study. The combined method of cooling with anti-solvent addition successfully provided fructose crystallization. The best condition observed in this work was the trial where 66.2 g of fructose were used in 10 g of water and 60 g of added ethanol, because once a lower amount of ethanol was applied, the crystallization occurred in lesser induction time and the yield of 96,8%.
A metonímia do desejo : um estudo etnográfico da clínica lacaniana em Londrina-Pr

This research, realized in Londrina (PR) through in-depth qualitative interviews with psychoanalysts and people who do lacanian analysis, and participant observation in a group of lacanian studies, aims to analyse, in this specific ethnographic context, a version of the modern Western notion of person produced by the lacanian clinic based on the concepts such as metonymic desire, structural lack and desiring subject. The forms of subjectivity handled by this method of treatment encompass concepts of suffering, unconscious, healing, health and disease which operate as a system of thought assimilated into the production of a new conception of the self. This conception appeared articulated in the process of constitution of a desiring subject, resulting from a theory of desire that characterizes the lack as a way of being. Thus, the Lacanian psychoanalysis capitalizing certain notion of person that serves as a translation of a code present in the Western capitalist society, as the free and autonomous individual condemned to an endless quest for satisfaction that can never be achieved. The fieldwork also allowed to reach, besides the specifics of Lacanianism in Londrina, part of the universe "psi" of that city.

In Being and Nothingness, Sartre defines man as a hopelessly free being. But thus, iffreedom is our main predicate, would it be possible to think a relationship between differentfreedoms which was not limited to a mere intersubjective conflict, that is, would it be possibleto conceive a theory of the other in Sartre that was not reduced to a clash of freedoms? Theaim of the dissertation is to demonstrate that, despite intersubjectivity be presented in theessay on phenomenological ontology as essentially conflictive, it is possible, already in thisbook, glimpse the overture to think about interpersonal relations of positive reciprocity, thatis, relations able to overcome the inherent conflict of Being-for-others.
Caracterização limnológica e análise da comunidade de macro-invertebrados bentônicos em um trecho da sub-bacia do alto Rio São Francisco (MG, Brasil)

In lotic environments, the benthic fauna is generally well developed and constitutes a community of great importance in the functioning of these ecosystems. The benthic macroinvertebrates participate in food chains, mineralization processes, recycling of organic matter, energy flow and therefore are useful in the monitoring of environmental quality. The purpose of this study was to analyze the limnological characteristics and their influence on the structure and diversity of macroinvertebrate benthic in a stretch of the Upper São Francisco River and its tributary, Piumhi River. The samplings were carried out in two climatic periods, the dry season (October 2006 and 2007) and the rainy season (March 2007 and 2008), sampling up three points in Piumhi River and six points in São Francisco River. Based on the limnological data the rivers can not be considered eutrophic, presenting relatively low levels of nutrients (total and dissolved). The waters of both rivers studied showed trophic state ranging from ultraoligotrophic to oligotrophic. The sediments of São Francisco River was predominantly formed by sand and clay whereas the sediment of Piumhi River was mainly formed by sand. On October 2006, March 2007, October 2007 and March 2008 there were 19, 14, 44 and 7 taxa in Piumhi River and 29, 42, 36 and 31 taxa in São Francisco River, respectively. There were greater richness of taxa and diversity of benthic macroinvertebrates in São Francisco River than in Piumhi River, whereas regarding the numerical abundance the opposite was verified. The only constant taxa were Polypedilum in Piumhi River (October 2006) and Smicridea in São Francisco River (March 2007). In both rivers, the highest values of abundance and density were recorded for the family Chironomidae during dry periods. Phyllocycla and Gomphoides showed highest values of biomass in Piumhi and São Francisco Rivers, respectively, evidencing their potential to transfer energy to other levels of the food chain and the need to utilize different metrics for studying communities. In Piumhi River there were 7 functional trophic groups while in São Francisco River only 5 groups were recorded, being collectors the dominant groups in both rivers. There was a greater similarity between the macroinvertebrates assemblages within each river sampled in the four periods, than between the rivers studied. The canonical correlation analyses evidenced that sediment characteristics and limnological variables were the principal factores that influenced the distribution of Chironomidae genera.

For this work I went a lifting the politics participation of the woman and analyzed inform like time of office, politics party, ideology and projects. With this information, we look for to discover who are these women? Where do you come from? Why support and where going after the office first?

The aim of this work is to examine some of the psychic aspects of the process of acquisition of verbal language in the theory of Freud. In a psychoanalytical perspective, this process takes place in the individual itself as well as in culture as a whole. Accordingly we examine it in its different stages, up to the point when the individual has acquired the use of verbal language. Even then, traces can be located of the process that led to language as such in verbal wit, in works of art, and in psychoanalytic therapy as conceived by Freud. Special emphasis is given to the mutual dependence, stated by Freud, between the physiological and psychological processes involved in the formation of language. Given that for Freud language arises in the individual at a moment when consciousness and the unconscious are yet to be completely separated from each other, it is only natural that he conceives the mechanisms that operate in grammatical languages to be absent and the symbols of expression to signify nothing beside themselves. Freudian conception of primeval language can then be said to be symbolic in the strong, philosophical acceptation of the term, as defined by Schelling: in this transitory form of language, words are not signs of conceptions nor do they point to external things, they are rather taken as things in themselves, complete and independent from all external reference. For Freud, their use prepares the individual for the advent of indirect, allegorical use of words that is typical of languages in their plain, grammatical form. But symbolic language does not disappear completely and without trace from the psyche, once verbal language has settled. Verbal wit, works of art, psychoanalytical therapy are instances of the permanence of the symbolic use of words in the realm of culture, and are as such to be taken as means of access to the unconscious.
Características limnológicas da bacia hidrográfica do córrego Rico, Jaboticabal, SP

Evaluation of quality and quantity of water contributes to the strategic decisionmaking policies and techniques to ensure the potential use of this resource for agriculture, industry, animal watering and for human consumption. In order to assist the governing of the Rico stream watershed to create mechanisms and effective action to combat pollution from this resource this study was conducted. In 2006 the treatment sewage plant in the city of Monte Alto was established in this basin. The city of Jaboticabal, that uses the water of the stream Rico for human consumption, is located dowstream of this plant. Chemical, physical and microbiological analysis, were carried out in various parts of this basin. There was a significant variation in the water quality in this watershed between the dry and wet stations. It is concluded that the tributary that drains the area of the town of Monte Alto and its treatment sewage plant impairs the quality of water in this basin.
