listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Max Weber e o problema da dialética: presença do idealismo na formação dos tipos ideais(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2010-03-10) Roselino, Luis Felipe Martins de Salles; Maar, Wolfgang Leo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8746615407370574This work has the dialectics as its main theme and aims to present Max Weber s thought before the legacy of German idealism, i.e., by the particular way that Hegel (as much as Marxism) has defined dialectics in history. Dialectics will be investigated inside Max Weber s historical typologies as a product of history and reason together. We serve ourselves of two histories of philosophy, that of the Windelband and of Lukács, and from those two perspectives our object is approached by a philosophical as well as a historical and sociological perspective. Thus, we shall observe how the uses of Weber s types are immerged inside the same limits and philosophical legacy of Kant and Hegel.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Exercício aeróbico e suas implicações no crescimento e metabolismo de pacu (Piaractus mesopotamicus)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2010-03-10) Hackbarth, Araceli; Moraes, Gilberto; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4427903557163246; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3171356543040552Fishes as well as other group of species can accrue benefits from adapting to aerobic exercises. Examples of these benefits are: higher growth and feed conversion rates, less aggressive behavior, and optimization of non-nitrogenous nutrient as source of metabolic energy. The aim of this work was to evaluate growth and metabolic responses of pacu (Piaractus mesopotamicus) to aerobic swimming speeds and diets, varying in proportions of carbohydrates and lipids. Two experiments were carried out. One of it aimed to determining the ideal aerobic swimming speed for pacu; three speeds were compared: 1 body-length per second (BL/sec), 2 BL/sec, and 3 BL/sec besides a control treatment (non-exercised). In the second experiment the fish were kept at non-exercising or swimming at the ideal speed determined in the previous experiment, and submitted to different feeding regimes, in which the diets presented varying proportions (%) of carbohydrate and lipid, respectively: 27/15, 36/10 and 45/5. In both experiments, treatment effects were evaluated in terms of zootechnical parameters, several hematological variables, and intermediary plasmatic, hepatic and muscle tissue (white and red) intermediary metabolites and several metabolic enzyme activities. It was concluded from the first experiment that swimming at 2 BL/sec was ideal for pacu, considering the comparatively higher rate of growth and a metabolic response indicative of a higher utilization of non-protein sources for energy production. The spare-protein effect was also observed under the 1 and 2 BL/sec treatments while higher levels of protein oxidation, possibly for the maintenance of energy levels, and adequate levels of glycemia were observed in the individuals kept swimming at 3 BL/seg. In the second experiment, the best growth rates were presented by swimming fishes kept under the 36/10 feeding regime; a higher participation of lipids as metabolic energy supplier was also noted under this regime. It was concluded that pacu submitted to aerobic swimming at 2 BL/sec and fed with diet containing 36% lipids and 10% carbohydrates presented better growth performance and higher efficiency in directing non-protein sources for metabolic energy production.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O papel pedagógico do tutor de EAD : uma abordagem bibliométrica baseada no banco de teses da CAPES(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2010-03-10) Furquim, Leila Aparecida Corte Volpini; Hayashi, Carlos Roberto Massao; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9136586124586219; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3729769320853992This study has the purpose to analyze the tutor role on the conception of different authors and the defended Dissertations and Thesis on the Postgraduate programs in the country available at Thesis Database Capes. This new reality shows, initially, that the distance education promises to be based in interpretative, qualitative, descriptive and subjective investigations, with explicit values, fundamentally on reality, to promote the discovery and knowledge exploration. We also propose, therefore, to verify that this role is attributed to the tutor of distance education on thesis and dissertations developed on the Postgraduate programs in Brazil. By the methodological point of view the study consists of the following fases: a) Constitution of the research theory-methodological referential, through an explanation about the distance education, its importance in teacher education and professional. The methodological referential will embrace the bibliometric approach. b) Data collecting on the Thesis Database Capes, to identify the scientific production in distance education, focusing on the tutor role of distance education. c) Description and categorization of the data collection using automatic tools for the construct scientific production indicators. d) Analysis and interpretation of the results through of the bibliometric approaches and the theoretical research. The results of this research shows that the tutor, this new kind of professional, needs differential abilities, cognitive, interpersonal, dialogic and technical, acting with technique and pedagogic ability the mediation role, of fundamental relevance, on the construction of the meaningful learning and collaborative of distance education. Therefore, with this work we have contributed to the Education Area through the systematization of the reflections and ideas about the pedagogic role of the tutor of distance education.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Formação de acetato de etila a partir do etanol sobre catalisadores de Cu/ZrO2: efeito da carga de cobre nas propriedades físicas e catalíticas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2010-03-10) Freitas, Isabel Cristina de; Bueno, José Maria Corrêa; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0157452280626031; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9861067651401873The ethanol dehydrocoupling in ethyl acetate distinguishes among the reactions of alcohol transformation in products with higher added value. Due to the possibility of obtaining ethanol from biomass in Brazil, the production of ethyl acetate is of great interest, being their production very economical. The ethanol dehydrocoupling in ethyl acetate was studied over Cu/ZrO2 catalysts prepared by impregnation method followed by calcinations in air. The samples with different Cu loadings were characterized by thermal analyze, X-Ray powder diffraction, determination of the specific surface area, temperature-programmed reduction (TPR), decomposition of N2O and X-Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). TPR results showed the formation of low temperature reduction Cu species (peaks α1, α2 e β) predominant at low loadings of supported Cu in ZrO2, these species are attributed to CuO highly dispersed on support. The increase of Cu loading caused the formation of CuO bulk species with high temperature reduction (peaks γ1 e γ2). XPS results for Cu/ZrO2 reduced catalysts showed that an increase in the Cu loading caused a shift in the Cu 2p3/2 peak to regions of lower biding energy. The spectra of Cu Auger region suggest that a decrease in the Cu loading increases the ratio of Cu+/Cuo species. Catalytic tests for dehydrocoupling reaction of ethanol were carried out at atmospheric pressure and showed an increasing activity per Cu site for ethyl acetate formation with the increase in the dispersion of supported Cu. Furthermore, the by-products formation due the acetaldehyde via aldol condensation occurs on the ZrO2 support surface. Also, it could be seen that catalysts with Cu loading up to 20% showed an increase in the ethyl acetate selectivity with an increase in the Cu loading. This can be attributed to the higher ZrO2 coating by active phase providing the suppression of by-products that are formed via aldol condensation.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Preparação de nanofibras de celulose a partir de fibras de curauá para desenvolvimento de nanocompósitos poliméricos com EVA(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2010-03-10) Corrêa, Ana Carolina; Mattoso, Luiz Henrique Capparelli; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5839043594908917; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3369858890068027The objective of the current project was the obtainment of cellulose nanofibers from curaua fibers and their application on the development of polymeric nanocomposites with EVA. A study of cellulose extraction according to the pre-treatment of the curaua fibers (mercerization with 5, 10, 15 and 17.5% NaOH solutions), acid solution used in acid hydrolysis (sulfuric (H2SO4), hydrochloric (HCl), and a mix of them (2:1 v/v)) and temperature of hydrolysis (45oC e 60oC) was carried out. Morphological analysis presented nanofibers with needle-like morphology, and similar lengths and diameters. It was noticed that the addition of hydrochloric acid to promote hydrolysis improved thermal stability of nanofibers, if compared to those hydrolyzed with sulphuric acid only, independent of fibers pre-treatment of the fibers. Nanocomposites and composites were prepared with EVA and nanofibers or mercerized fibers, with 1, 3, 5 and 7 wt% of nanofibers and 1-30 wt% of mercerized fibers, to evaluate the effect of concentration and reinforcement of nanofibers on composites properties as compared with micrometric scale fibers. The extrusion process, to incorporation of nanofibers in EVA matrix, was not enough to disperse and break of clusters of nanofibers down, which behaved as micrometric particles with low aspect ratio, but they were well adhered to the matrix, even without the use of compatibilizers. Mechanical properties of the nanocomposites presented a small increase in elastic modulus with a decrease in strain at break. For composites with mercerized curaua fibers, the extrusion process presented good fiber dispersion. The composites showed an increase on mechanical properties, mainly elastic modulus, with the increase of fiber content, greater than 7%, but with no significant changes in thermal properties.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Práticas instituintes e experiências autoritárias : o sindicalismo rural na mata pernambucana, 1950-1974(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2010-03-10) Koury, Mauro Guilherme Pinheiro; Silva, Maria Aparecida de Moraes; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6792025643983370; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2257639640736774This thesis makes a social history of the organizational process of rural syndical movement in Brazil, with analytical focus in the Zona da Mata of Pernambuco. It has as objective to understand the instituting process of social and syndical rural movements in the region, and its historical formation, organization and consolidation, between 1950 and 1974. In this direction, he looked for to apprehend the dynamics of the social and political nets, that made to appear a new process in Brazil from the 1950 , where rural workers, as new actors, enter in the scene politics in search of citizenship and social inclusion; and the dynamic of the left parties interested and engaged in the practical organizational of rural man and its relations with institutional forces of the State and the Church. In the end, this study argues the practical instituting process for inside and outside of rural syndical organization in Brazil and, mainly, in the mata pernambucana, after-1964, and its relations with the Brazilian authoritarian state and the authoritarian experiences produced in this relation, with the ideological version of creation of a syndicate of associates.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Morro da Conceição: uma etnografia da sociabilidade e do conflito numa metrópole brasileira(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2010-03-10) Costa, Flávia Carolina da; Toledo, Luiz Henrique de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3624633716376418Morro da Conceição is located in the quarter of Saúde, the port area of Rio de Janeiro, and is an important historical site in the city that currently presents a special case of territorial dispute between a group of residents who self-recognized as Black Community of the Pedra do Sal and a religious order called Venerável Ordem Terceira de São Francisco da Penitência - VOT. Based on ethnographic research done at 2008 year, we tried to understand how were organized networks of sociability among inhabitants in the context of territorial dispute. During the ethnographic excursion, other relationships were being revealed in the everyday practices. From an intricate mesh of sociability that mixed interests and agents, a detailed thread conflict was being discovered. The ethnographic experience allowed us to see that the problems involved in the discourses and projects of revitalization of port area affected the territory, letting observe endeavor to keep its symbolic and spatial diversity. Thus, conflicts appeared as constituting sociability and were mixed in the most usual relations. Analyzing the brazilian context concerning Black Communities is possible to understand the construction of social networks and political representations. The sociability‟s studies revealed the Morro da Conceição as a singular space that transits between being city and being slum .
