This research was based on the need of understanding the presence of black children in the 19th century and as a consequence understand childhood from this perspective. It intended to show how black children could be seen through images produced in the 19th century, which were selected from a corpus of engravings by Jean-Baptiste Debret and portraits by Militão Augusto de Azevedo. To discuss how the black children were represented in the images we tried to establish a relation between the history of children and childhood in Brazil, as well as to point out the importance of the image to the comprehension of the historical construction of the Brazilian black childhood framework. The analysis was based on a Foucaultian perspective, in which we aimed at focusing not on what the images hid, but at what these images showed as possibilities for these children and for black childhood as a whole in the 19th century. In addition, we analyzed the literature concerning slavery to understand childhood slavery presented in the famous works of Debret. We also searched other images that revealed different aspects of black childhood. This effort allowed the selection of portraits made by Militão, a gallery of unknown people, which showed black children quite differently from the first images, they were part of families or communities that used photography to keep their memories and of their groups so that they could perpetuate the images of these children. The analysis allowed the visualization of a feeling of black childhood, demonstrated by the signs of how children were taken care of which were preserved and recreated by black adults in the Brazilian slavery context.

The question of rural development has been discussed by different agencies and agents, governmental or otherwise, that directed the discussions towards convergence between the questions of agriculture, agrarian and environment. In this approach, the conservation and restoration of natural resources are considered as important as the agricultural production. In Brazil, this approach has placed the agrarian reform settlements as areas important for the implementation of agricultural projects based on environmental sustainability. The case study we developed in a rural settlement in the municipality on the Ribeirão Preto, region northeastern state of Sao Paulo shows that the implementation of such projects exacerbates conflicts between the agents and expressed the fragmentation and dislocation of public policies for rural settlements. Comparing the different discourse and practices, we aimed to understand what is an environmental sustainability for the state, social movements and rural workers settled.

The changes occurred in our society in the last few years have immediately reflected in the school sphere. Nowadays, in the educational context there is a great international effort in favor of the inclusive education, which proposes to welcome students from any belief, race, social or financial background and who also may have any kind of disability. In this direction, this research has as objective to investigate the perceptions of deaf and hearing impaired students, included in state schools, concerning the teaching and learning process of a second language as part of the school curriculum, and therefore discuss the legislation which obliges those students to be in regular classrooms as well as the questions brought about regarding the process of inclusion. The subjects of the research are deaf or hearing impaired students from the 5th grade Elementary School to the 3rd grade High School, in the region of Araraquara, São Paulo, Brazil. It is a qualitative research, whose data were collected throught: (a) classroom observation; (b) questionnaires and interviews, intermediated by a professional specialized in sign language and (c) drawings. As a result, the data analyses have revealed that the students degree of language knowledge, of performance and of inclusion is related to individual characteristics.

This PhD thesis covered was devoted to the preparation of nitrogenated intermediates by multicomponent reactions (3-MCR) with potential application in the bioactive compound synthesis. The developed methodology consisted on the coupling reaction of an organometallic compound, formed by an alkyne and a metal salt or complex, and a nitrogenated electrophile like as imines or iminium salts. In the first part of this work we reported the A3 coupling reaction of aldehydes, 4-piperidone hydrochloride monohydrate and alkynols giving the corresponding hydroxy alkynyl piperidin-4-ones, which are important synthetic building blocks. In the second part of the work was developed a coupling reaction using benzylamine as primary amine source in order to prepare amino alkynols with the benzil group. These compounds were employed, as synthetic intermediates, in the synthesis of bioactive five, six and seven membered alkaloids.

Historically, quests where frequently used by players, which empirically analyzed and systematized them with the intention of revealing the inner structure of games. After that, there was a need to address them as the primary object of study, observed by the academy. Therefore, the narratives through quests in MMORPGs was choosen as the object of study, specifically how the stories are told using quests in World of Warcraft (Blizzard Entertainment, 2004), identifying both the main structural and functional characteristics of storytelling, which allows a differentiation between various types of quests. The aim is to demonstrate that the narrative through quests in World of Warcraft is different from other structures and that the fragmented structure of quests is presented as a form of serial narrative, which allows the construction of a fictional world that is broad and deep at the same time. The analysis of narrative structure within complex systems such as virtual worlds of MMORPGs allows not only to review the way we understand the relationship of the narrative with videogames, but also can expand the way we understand the very act of storytelling.

The current paperwork intends to analyze the concept of drive in both first and second theories of drives according to the Freudian psychoanalysis and refers to the behavioral biology in order to initiate a debate about the Trieb concept between these two areas of knowledge. According to Sigmund Freud, the concept of drive is the most important one and also the most obscure for the metapsychology. The complications regarding the meaning of this concept begin with translation problems and with divergences among several schools of psychoanalysis, which postulate different comprehensions referring to the word Trieb and Instinkt and referring to the way Freud used them in his texts to talk about the development of the psychic apparatus and its place in the construction of metapsychology. The view on the Instinkt drive being a totally inherited and automatic behavior is a misunderstanding for the own scientists in the area of behavioral biology. Freud uses in his texts the concepts of Trieb and Instinkt in turns and this research tries to elucidate if there was the need of this distinction and, thus, an emphasis is given on the definitions that Freud has postulated about the nature of both, sexual drive and death drive. Besides, the beginning of a dialogue between these Freudian concepts and the sexual drive and the drive of aggressiveness in the sociobiology of Edward O. Wilson and in the behavioral biology of Konrad Lorenz is carried out.

This thesis presents three manuscripts derived of two research projects that were developed during the doctorate program. Project 1. Purpose: To determine the interand intra-rater reliability of nerve conduction studies (NCS) of superficial peroneal, sural and medial plantar nerves. Methods: Two raters performed the bilateral NCS twice in 20 healthy participants (23.5±3.5 years). Reliability was analyzed by the Bland- Altman method and intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC). Results: The Bland-Altman method showed a good level of intra- and inter-rater agreement for all parameters nerves. The amplitude and latency of the medial plantar nerve (rater 1), as well the amplitude of the sural nerve (rater 2) had an intra-rater ICC ≥0.75. Inter-rater analysis showed concordance levels between moderate and very low. Project 2. Purposes: a) To compare the effects of three cold modalities on the nerve conduction parameters of the sural (sensory) and tibial (motor) nerves during cooling and post-cooling phases b) To analyze the effect of exercise on recovery of sensory and motor nerve conduction velocity (NCV). Methods: Thirty six healthy young subjects (20.5±1.9 years) were randomly allocated into three groups: ice massage (n=12), ice pack (n=12) and cold water immersion (n=12). Each group received 1 of the 3 cold modalities on the right calf region for 15 minutes. The subjects of each modality group were again randomized to perform a post-cooling activity (30 min rest or walk 15 min followed by rest 15min). Nerve conduction parameters of sural and posterior tibial nerves were evaluated. Results: All 3 modalities reduced amplitude and increased latency and duration of the compound action potential. Ice massage, ice pack, and cold water immersion reduced NCV by 20.4, 16.7, and 22.6 m/s and motor NCV by 2.5, 2.1, and 8.3 m/s, respectively. Cold water immersion, as applied in this study, was the most effective modality in changing nerve conduction parameters. The walk accelerated the recovery of sensory and motor NCV, regardless of the modality previously applied (p<0.0001). Conclusions: The NCS provides quantitative measures that contribute to the objective analysis of neural physiological effects of cryotherapy. All 3 modalities were effective in altering sensory and motor nerve conduction. However, the magnitude and duration of these effects depend on the method applied and the activity after cooling.

There were substantial changes in the 90s decade in brain researchs, when one begins to discuss the benefits of an alignment of interests between the areas of Neuroscience, Psychiatry, Cognitive Psychology and Psychoanalysis. Fact that it was linked to the change of perspective in sciences cognition and neuroscience, from a cognitive perspective to a dynamic and motivational view, in theory, more able to include aspects of subjectivity in the modern field of the study of mind. The psychoanalytic literature is very resistant to a renewed discussion of metapsychology, however there is no denying the construction of a notion of interdisciplinarity between the brain sciences and psychoanalysis (and psychological sciences in general). This Thesis intends to discuss some contemporary proposals of convergence between the neuropsychiatric and psychosocial formulations, in view of an interface between cognitive neuroscience and psychoanalysis, using Freudian concepts about the ego (Ich) as head theme. The search for the greatest integration between these formulations of the ego in Freudian theory could possibly contribute in reflecting on the debate on the rapprochement between psychoanalysis and neuroscience. We present the dialogue that some programs offer neuroscience for psychoanalysis. Does Freud's 19th century has to offer some contribution to what is named today as a new biology of mind? How to recover his thought could supply some conceptual and methodological shortcomings of these programs neurobiological? Psychoanalysis would be on the verge of losing its identity amid the current intellectual scene of the brain sciences? The aspirations of this multidisciplinary research about the mind and brain could open new horizons for psychoanalysis? The search of neuropsychological origins of Freudian metapsychology has opened a range of discussions, both in the neuroscience community, as in psychoanalysis. Instead of taking immediate support or a refusal to this interface is proposed that much like integration , this work suggests that the inquiries are referred to their own conceptual and methodological frame of neuroscience programs and examination of the Freudian theories, for knowing whether these concepts are open to this kind of reading - thus avoiding hasty conclusions and simplifications to that proposal.

Arsenic is an essential chemical element for life, although it can be extremely toxic at concentrations slightly above those required for living organisms. In Brazil, generally well-standardized internationally test organisms are used in Aquatic Toxicology. Although sensitive, it does not occur in Brazilian ecosystems, increasing the difficulties on assessing the impacts of chemicals on specific niches of the local biota. Furthermore, the toxicity test using exotic species, do not match the tropical and subtropical ecosystems abiotic conditions, which have different characteristics such as conductivity, hardness and temperature, among other variables that modify the response of test organisms and even the own toxicity of the chemical agent. Thus, ecotoxicological assays are of utmost importance when using native species, in order to assess it sensitivity to several toxic agents. The present study was proposed to assess for the toxicity of Guamium River bottom sediment, Piracicaba hydrographic basin, São Paulo, by using test organisms such as Paramecium caudatum protozoan Ehrenberg, 1833 and Ceriodaphnia silvestrii cladocera Daday, 1902. To reach for these goals two sampling campaigns were carried out, one in the dry season and another during the rainy season, in 9 points through the entire length of the river main channel, to verify spatial variation as a function of different surrounded land use. Sediment samples were analyzed for total and available As, As3+ and As5+, relating the obtained data with acute toxicity bioassays results for inorganic As species. Taking into account the modification of As oxidation state by the sample preparation conditions, in the rainy season, analytical results were compared to those predict by the pH x Eh stability diagram. Total and inorganic As species were also determinate in the Certificated Reference Material WQB-1. The acute toxicity of As3+ and As5+ solutions were evaluated for zooplankton, by using the same test organisms, quantifying the absorption/adsorption of the semi-metal in the experiments organisms. Chemical analysis of sediment samples resulted in toxic levels concentrations of total As, As3+ and As5+, especially in the Points of the River s Source (P0), Tanquinho s District (P1) and Dial Animals (P5) of Guamium River, confirming with the points at which the supernatant had higher concentrations of total As. The results obtained from the sediment analysis were similar to the theoretical values provided using the pH x Eh stability diagram, which indicated prevalence of As5+. The method of determining total As presented analytical precision when it was compared to the Certificated Reference Material WQB-1, which like the samples, presented different fractions of As in its inorganic form. According expected by the literature, the reduced form (As3+) was more toxic than the oxidized form (As5+), and C. silvestrii is more sensitive to arsenic and sediment samples than the P. caudatum. By spectrometry of atomic absorption technique with electrothermal atomization in graphite furnace (GFAAS) it was determinated As levels in the surviving organisms and in the case, the dead of the highest concentration used. In protozoan, the bioaccumulated levels ranged from 29,8 to 70,0 pg x individual As3+ or 10,5 to 17,5 μg x g-1 of dry weight (dw) As3+ and from 183,0 to 282,6 pg x individual As5+ or 45,8 to 70,7 μg x g-1 dw As5+. In cladocera, the levels ranged from 75,9 to 149,3 pg x individual As3+ or 22,4 to 44,1 μg x g-1 dw As3+ and from 1.575,4 to 1.630,2 pg x individual As5+ or 465,2 to 481,4 μg x g-1 dw As5+. Even considering both, the tested organisms small size and the low concentrations used, it was possible to associate with As, bioaccumulating this semi-metal and, thus, has an important role in the bioavailability of this along the food chain.

In recent years, research on Portuguese as foreign language teaching and learning has been the recipient of great academic interest. This is due to several factors, such as the creation of international partnerships (MERCOSUL), easier mobility (tourism) and interest in Brazilian nature and natural products. Furthermore, Portuguese is the native language of more than 250 million speakers, which makes it the sixth most spoken native language in the world, and the third in the West. In this growing field of research, one prominent topic is educational materials, and more particularly educational books used for teaching Portuguese as foreign language. In this dissertation, educational books are considered a multimodal genre that is crucial in the teaching-learning process (which also involves teachers and students). Considering educational books multimodal/multi-semiotic character, we propose an analysis of the images/pictures/photographs portraying Brazilian people and land. Based on the images presented by educational books, this study s guiding question is: how are Brazilians and Brazil portrayed in Portuguese as foreign language educational books? Thus, the investigation is carried out as qualitative research, as it follows criteria of representativeness, not of probabilistic sampling.

The technological capabilities play a crucial role in determining the production processes efficiency and effectiveness and increase the degree of enterprises innovativeness. Its measurement can help enterprises evaluate their strengths and weaknesses in terms of their ability to generate, use and adapt technologies and products, that is, it can assist them understanding the enterprise technological behavior and potential and serving as a diagnosis and decision making system. This project aimed to develop a technological capability measurement model (index) directed at agri-food systems. The developing of index model is applied on farms and agro-industrial enterprises of production chains of a plant segment (wheat grain, wheat flour/ premixture and pastry) and of an animal segment (fluid milk and cheese). The methodology adopted for this purpose has a deductive and theoreticalinstrumental character. The study made use bibliographical review and exploratory research for building indexes architectures and observational research to collect data to validate the proposed index model. The model proposes the measure of the entreprise technological capability stage based on five macroelements: (i) physical resources, (ii) technological upgrading, (iii) processes and routines, (iv) learning mechanisms and (v) coordination and accessibility. This macroelements are decomposed into meso and microelements. The descriptors include numerical, binary and categorical variables. The AHP method was used to assign indicators weights. To evaluate the proposed índex, interviews with farms and agro-industrial were conducted, totaling 200 farms and 19 enterprises. In general, the proposed index capture inter-firm differences in terms of technological capacity performance and serve as an analytical tool to generate useful information for identifying improvement opportunities for the company. It also captures the technological dynamic differences between companies and between regions.

Landscape appropriation, occupation and management processes currently used by human beings have generated conflicts which may lead to environmental quality deterioration. In face of its constant development and the need for territorial expansion, new planning models must be proposed considering as main premise the maintenance of environmental integrity and maximization of available scenic resources. Based on scenery ecology, this research discusses the elements of landscape and the importance of integrating ecological concepts in territorial process undertaken by humans. As a case study, an area from the municipal district of São João da Boa Vista in São Paulo state, with potential for urban expansion and conservation of important remaining fragments of seasonal semideciduous forest belonging to the atlantic forest biome, was selected. The study area was chosen based on its biophysical characteristics, use and land occupation, which occur throughout the district, allowing the expansion of the resulting proposal to other areas. Anthropogenic and natural biotopes identification and characterization, which compose the study area scenery mosaic, were conducted using Geographic Information Systems (ArcGIS 9.2 ESRI) in order to unify the information gathered in field surveys, scientific research and satellite image interpretation. Afterwards, thematic maps were generated assisting the accomplishment of a preliminary study aimed to integrate planning between anthropic and natural environment. Starting from the conservation principle, reasonable and sustainable use of natural resources, four spaces were proposed with specific use levels: protection of environmental resources, connectivity, buffering and interaction between humans and nature. As a result, a thematic map was developed with the desired environmental scenario, providing guidelines to decision makers and civil society in order to conduct municipal planning along with environmental responsibility.

The Freudian conception of the unconscious is based on the idea that the human beings and the human actions are essentially determined by the instincts. This notion of instinct , taken from modern biology, refers to the idea that the movements or actions of living beings are designed by fixed patterns of behaviour transmitted genetically. Our research is an attempt to find out how, in such a context, the Freudian theories explain the ethical capacity of human beings, considering such a capacity as the ability of choosing between acting out or not acting out those so-called innate patterns of behaviour. Our analysis of the Freudian texts focuses on the principal shifts of the theories developed by him along his career, trying to point out how his conceptions establish the notion of the human action, as well as how this notion is articulated in the context of the natural sciences.

The objective of this project was the preparation of biodegradable films from polymer blends of citrus pectin (PEC) and thermoplastic starch (TPS) and the modification of its mechanical properties by formation of nanocomposites with cellulose nanofibers (NCel). The project was conducted in three stages. Firstly, the nanofibers were obtained from bleached sugarcane bagasse fibers (FBC) by hydrolysis with hydrochloric (HCl) and sulfuric (H2SO4) acids. The characterizations revealed nanofibers with needle-like morphology and diameters lower than 20 nm. The thermal stability of NCel obtained with HCl was higher than H2SO4 one. In the second stage, a factionary factorial design was applied to define a suitable processing condition for TPS/PEC blends (100/0, 75/25, 50/50, 25/75 e 0/100) in a mixer Haake, with posterior microstructural and mechanical characterizations of the blends. It was defined the condition of 130ºC, 160 RPM and 4 min to processing TPS/PEC blends, which showed biphasic microstructure and mechanical strength decreased by increase of TPS content. Due to this, NCel were incorporated at concentration of 1, 5, 10 and 15% (w/w) in the processing under different mixture conditions, aiming the improvement of the mechanical performance of the TPS/PEC blend 50/50. The characterization results evidenced that water vapour permeability, tensile strength and elastic modulus of the blend were significantly improved in 48, 150 and 350%, respectively, only with 5% of NCel. The better results were obtained by use of NCel-S and mixture of the nanocomposite formulations into milling ball equipment. The study of this project evidences the great potential of the cellulose nanofibers to the improvement of the properties in biodegradable polymeric systems based in pectin and starch natural polymers.

GRN (Gestão de Recursos de Negócio Business Resource Management) pattern language provides a set of patterns in analysis level to support the development of applications which deal with rental, purchase, sale and maintenance transactions of a good or service. GRENJ-OO is an object-oriented (OO) application framework built to support the instantiation of Java applications in the GRN domain. GRENJ-OO instantiates applications that include in their architecture all framework variabilities. The units of this framework, which implement each GRN pattern and their variants, are highly coupled between them, because there are concern tangling and concern scattering related to each one of those patterns. So, the aspect-orientation (OA) techniques were used in each pattern to minimize those problems and a new framework version was obtained, called GRENJ-OA. The improvements of separation of concerns, the coupling reduction, the cohesion increasing and the reduction of the number of lines of code of the majority of the patterns implemented in GRENJ-OA was the result reached after performing a quantitative evaluation based on separation of concerns, coupling, cohesion and size metrics. From the approach used to modularize this framework is introduced the Framework Product Line concept, that consists in a product line which their products are frameworks instead of software applications. From the GRENJ-OO modularization was also possible to extract a process that can be applied to modularize frameworks. This process aims to transform a framework in a Framework Product Line.

In the first part of this thesis we describe the study of the oxidation of phenols to p-benzoquinones. The metal complexes used as catalysts in this study are: [CoII(salen)], [CoII(dmsalen)], [CoII(salpn)], [CoII(dmsalpn)], [CuII(salen)], [NiII(salen)] and [VOIV(salen)]. The oxidation with [CoII(salen)] showed better results, oxidizing ten of the eleven phenols employed. We also employed other oxidants such as hydrogen peroxide (H2O2 30%), OXONE®, dimethyl dioxirane (DMD) and iodoxybenzoic acid (IBX), however, OXONE® and DMD oxidized only the alkyl disubstituted phenols. In the second part, we studied the optimization of the Diels-Alder reaction in multicomponent version (MCR) with p-benzoquinones, as well as the scalingup of these reactions. We also tested this methodology (Diels-Alder/MCR) under microwave irradiation (Scheme 1). The Diels-Alder reactions in the multicomponent version conducted under reflux conditions showed yields in the range of 60-70%. This range was kept up even in the scale up of these reactions to 100 mmol. When these reactions were conducted under microwave irradiation, the yields were obtained in the range of 30-40%. In this case the reactions were conducted in the absence of solvents and was observed a decrease of the reaction time from 24 hours to 30 minutes. A theoretical study of the Diels-Alder reaction was conducted through computer calculations of the frontier molecular orbital energies (HOMO and LUMO), in order to explain the reactivity of diene-dienophiles pairs. Through these calculations we can conclude that the greater the number of alkyl groups attached to double bonds of the dienophile, the lower the reactivity of it face to the Diels-Alder reaction in the normal electron demand. In the case of the dienes it was found by the calculations that the benzamide substituent group is a better activating group to the diene than the acetamide group. Alkyl groups as substituents on the terminal carbon increases the HOMO energy.

This study deals with the socio-spatial dynamics of the city of Limeira, seat of a municipality located in the eastern region of the state of São Paulo, seen primarily through the perspective of the reconstruction of material history registered in this urban nucleus during the 19th century. Research was carried out on the prior period, from 1799 when two Allotments were granted at the confluence of the Jaguari and Atibaia Rivers, the source of the Piracicaba River, and which would become, along with other land allotments, the municipal boundaries up until the final decade of that century. The study is thus based on the apprehension of the process of material evolution that marked the developing urbanization, perceived by the rediscovery of four variable factors which attended the establishment and development of the city: the formation and evolution of the transportation system, the installation and occupation of the urban street network, the location dimension of administrative edifications and the dynamic of urban equipment, both public and private. Research was made to identify how Limeira related to the national, state and regional contexts of that period, to describe the process of establishing towns near the geographical feature known as Morro Azul , or Blue Hill (where the present-day towns of Rio Claro, Araras and Piracicaba are also located), and, lastly, to understand significant social and historical facts related to physical expansion and to economic factors. The occupation of the land before the urban settlement was also dealt with, giving special attention in this process to the socio-spatial issues linked both to Allotments granted in the region and to the farms that were born out of those properties. Besides looking into pertinent scientific and technical literature available, direct documental sources were researched, found in collections of church documents in parishes and diocesan offices, in collections of public documents, in museums and libraries both public and private along with consultation and interpretation of historiographic bibliographies, as well as articles and laws, among others. The analyses which were elaborated show the materiality of space both as a result and as a basis for the evolution of social relationships and for the dominant class to stay in control, evidenced by forms of land appropriation and by the presence of a basis for the socio-spatial segregation found in the city in the next century, even though new configurations for the latter were adopted.

Children grasp information through several senses: touch, sight, smell, taste, and kinesthetic, among them the vision can be considered one of the most important for the acquisition of rich information and less time as well as responsible for the integration of different sensory content. We agree that children with blindness due to the absence of a sensory channel, must have an education that enhances their chances of understanding the world, so do not present conceptual inconsistencies identified in research on the topic. Consistent with these notes aim with this study to analyze the characteristics used by students with congenital blindness in the definition of concepts in the classroom as well as identify which learning contexts were crucial to the meanings. The study included three students with congenital blindness, without other sensory impairments, enrolled in the first cycle of basic education and their regular teachers common. In order to achieve the stated objectives of the Protocol was drafted Observation Activities and Teaching Strategies, which guided the activities record and Detailing of Framework Concepts, which supported the analysis and categorization of data. In addition, interviews were held for the Characterization of Participants - students (A, B and C) and teachers (PA, PB, PC) and applied the questionnaire in Brazil Economic Classification Criterion, those responsible for students. For the analysis of the concepts covered in class, each was categorized as to: Level Approach (primary, secondary or tertiary), Predominant Characteristics, Sensory Attributes / Access and Context of Reference (daily life, school or daily life / school). The results indicated that the conceptual definitions of the participant were based mainly on features related to function (21%) of the concepts and tactile attributes / experience (31%), the participant B was based on the action (38%) of the concepts and auditory attributes / description (20%) and participating in the function C (27%) questioned the concepts and attributes in hearing / description (31%). It is noteworthy that among the three participants in the olfactory and gustatory sensory attributes were not mentioned although they are important resources for obtaining information. With respect to the context of reference, the participant noted the context in daily life situations and 28% of the school at 7%, in other not reported, the participant quoted the daily context B in 40% of their responses and 15% in school, and participant pointed to the daily life context C in 24% of inquiries and 23% in the school context. These results indicate that even when the concepts had been asked tackled primary classroom were related to appropriate information in previous school settings and / or in everyday life. It was also among the participants, mistakes or deviations regarding the conceptual contents that had been made possible in schools, so in addition to motivating environments, educators and family members should assess the understanding of children with blindness in regard to information. Consistently raised the questions that this research concludes that, although it is not possible to generalize their results, that provided information relevant to both parents and for educators regarding the pathways to learning for children with blindness, and provided important , the new studies that suggest strategies that can be used in the context of regular classroom policy, which favors an education for EVERYONE, and to consider the specific learning of students with blindness.
