The number of Building Companies that searches for a certification of their Quality Management Systems (SGQ’s) has risen in recent years, focused mainly on ISO 9001 and PBQP-H. The same trend has been occurring with regard to Management Systems of Environmental, Safety and Health at work in view of the current global socio economic outlook. Although companies suffer a number of difficulties during the process of implementation and certification of SGQ’s and several works in the literature have already studied about that subject, not much is known upon those difficulties of SGI’s (Integrated Management System) implementation, as well as the rate and reasons for dropouts implementation and recertification of those systems, especially in construction. Therefore, the present Study has as objective to evaluate the level potential of implementation of Integrated Management System (SGI’s) covering Quality, Environment, Safety and Health at work at Building Companies that have ever had a Quality Management System (SGQ) implemented. As methodological proposal, it was used the available literature for the preparation of a compatibility matrix among reference standards (ISO 9001, SiAC (2012), ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001) and the checklist containing the items (requirements and criteria) most relevant to the implementation of SGI’s. Also were developed quantitative indicators which that do references for the degree of implementation of SGI's. The research was conducted in the form of study case, as a way of method validation, from ten civil work of a medium size Building Company. As results, some hypotheses initially proposed was validated in the research that there are significant differences in the implantation potential of SGI's in civil work in the same organization, in addition, it was possible to find that distinct phases of execution of civil works influence about the potential of adherence into implementation to one SGI. The indicators established show as an important tool for the building companies to mark out to achieve the SGI. The elaborate method contributes to the advancement in construction with regard to implementation and maintenance of SGQ’s and, preliminary, of SGI’s. Besides trying to contribute to a better understanding of the evolution of quality, environment, safety and health at work in construction, this Study longed to highlight the benefits and critical issues, not only for the implementation of SGI's, but also for their maintenance and viability in the sector.
Cultura política e participação: as comunidades virtuais em debate

The object of this work is the Orkut as a mean of politic socialization. The goal is to analyze the role of new communication and information technologies, specially the Orkut communities Government and Politic , to identify if there are any contribution for expansion and strengthening of a democratic political culture. Our hypothesis is that the Orkut, faced with the possibility of virtual communities creation and discussion referring to political issues, end out creating a public space which corroborates as an agent of political socialization, contributing to amplify politic discussions and for democratic politic culture consolidation. The criterion for selection of communities related to political issues in the Orkut was realized focusing in the diversity of political issues positioning, such as support, rejection and evaluation about politic and democracy. The methodology for this analyze correspond to DAIA criterion , once this criterion is not limited only in thinking communication in terms of instrumentalization and technique, but as a process of social relationship. In this way, we aimed trough this Orkut study, mainly of its communities, to investigate the role of NTCI s in the consolidation of a democratic politic culture and to contribute for the investigation about digital democracy in democratic process.
Caminhos cruzados: literatura e pintura, Graciliano Ramos e Cândido Portinari

Graciliano Ramos and Cândido Portinari were friends, but they had something in common that bound most strongly: the desire to express in their works the authentic Brazilian man, the worker and the migrant in their daily lives. This research aims to show how the works of Graciliano and Candido Portinari are close, not only as a social content and theme, but mainly as a form, style and technical resources, as the verbal and visual language are intimately linked as modes of representation. The rapprochement between Graciliano and Cândido Portinari, between the books São Bernardo, Vidas Secas, and the frames Café, Lavrador de café, Retirantes and Criança Morta, aims to demonstrate how the life and work of these artists intersect, in order to represent critically the reality of the time, through a dialectical analysis of form and content, combining text and context in levels of interpretation, according to the hermeneutic proposal of Frederic Jameson in the political unconscious (1982) and the principles of visual semiotics. To achieve this goal, we consider the history of each narrative, structural components, linking them to the historical context of the country at the time. Thus we examine how each represents a social issue: the contradictory reality of Brazil, a country that keeps living archaic modes of production with the arrival of Modernism and Capitalism; antagonistic classes of this society, exploiters and exploited, farmers, migrants, landowners, the government; and alienation/reification that they are submitted, direct consequences of this system. The analyzes are performed with dialectic dialogue, form and content, text and context in reading the social content of his compositions. That is, we analyze how they say what they say about this fundamental aspect of socioeconomic and political organization of the country. Thus, through the analysis we confirm why Graciliano and Portinari are considered realistic and social critics, as such works make use of realism and expressionism as technical resources to bring about awareness of the real and present in the political unconscious subtexts, which allows to conclude from the comparison made that the connection between them, the analogy between literature and painting produced, is stronger and larger than the gap.
