Síntese e formação de nanoestruturas e filmes de alumina anódica porosa
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2014-01-30) Franci, Patrícia Monteiro; Trivinho-Strixino, Francisco
This paper presents a methodology for obtaining the porous anodic alumina. anodization of aluminum in acidic electrolytes may specifically result in different types of oxide films as a barrier type porous type. Anodic alumina is formed with a regular porous structure on the nanometer scale when using the technique of two-step anodizing in galvanostatic mode, where the applied current density is fixed and observing the variation of potential along the way. In this study, we used a factorial design to investigate the effects of variables on morphology and electrochemical responses, the planning matrix allowed mapping the proposed system, and the influence of the variables chosen in three different responses from electrochemical anodization curves. For this study three experimental parameters were chosen, as follows: temperature, electrolyte concentration and current density, all varying in two levels. The electrochemical response parameters chosen were: slope of the curve, the maximum potential and steady potential. These electrochemical responses provide information about the mechanism and kinetics of growth of oxide films, being important in the verification of some properties of the final preparation. As a result , and based on Pareto charts , it can be seen that the current density is the parameter most affected by the slope of the curve is related to the rate of growth of the oxide barrier formed initially. On the other hand , the maximum potential, early processes related to the source and opening pore was observed that the three variables influencing this response. Finally, the stationary potential important parameter related to the dissolution rate and the formation of porous oxide in dynamic equilibrium noted that all three variables were significant in the process. This study enabled to view the influence of independent variables and their cross- tillage on the growth of anodic alumina film .Os PLA films were characterized morphologically interactions to verify the homogeneity of the structures and relationships of the variables in the pore radius of AAP .

Currently, there is strong evidence that the promotion of social skills and social competence is crucial to quality of socio-emotional development and prevention of behavior problem from early childhood. The literature shows that both social skills and social competence depend, ultimately, on self-monitoring. However, there is a set of conceptual and methodological challenges associated with the analysis and promotion of self-monitoring, especially with young children. In the present study, it is proposed to; (1) define operationally the term self-monitoring, (2) analyze its relationship with social skills and behavior problem, and (3) develop a self-monitoring resource to evaluate and analyze the effects of an intervention that combined specific procedures to promote it. This thesis is composed of four chapters. In chapter I, a behavioral definition of indicators of self-monitoring is proposed based on literature review, considering the fields of Social Skills and of Behavior Analysis. In Chapter II, the stages of construction of Illustrative Resource of Self-monitoring (RIAM) for assessment (RIAM-A) and for intervention (RIAM - I) in preschoolers are described. In Chapter III, a study is presented with the objective of verifying similarities and differences in behavioral indicators of self-monitoring evaluated by RIAM-A (self-description, description and choice of consequence) of 53 children, between five and six years old, divided into three groups (socially competent, with deficits in social skills, and internalizing behavior problem and externalizing or mixed behavior problem). The results indicated that children with social skills were better than children with behavior problem in selfmonitoring tasks, further verifying positive correlation between self-monitoring scores and social skills scores, and a negative correlation between self-monitoring scores and internalizing behavior problem. Finally, Chapter IV examined the effects of an intervention involving contingency analysis training and exposure to social contingencies in structured situations to promote self-monitoring and its impact on social skills, social competence and reducing behavior problems in preschool evaluated by RIAM-A and who presented difficulties in self-monitoring tasks. Individual sessions were carried out, which included: presentation of interactive situations in the form of drawing, discussion about the appropriateness or relevance of each response and probable consequences, followed by participation in structured presentation of the demand for social skills discussed previously. The results showed that, relative to a comparison group, children who took part in intervention had improved social skills, self-monitoring and social competence, but not reduction of behavior problem. The set of studies suggests the feasibility of research on self-monitoring in early childhood, proposing indicators, resources and procedures for assessment and intervention strategies for self-monitoring. The implications of the research are discussed in terms of theoretical, methodological, empirical and practical contributions.

This work shows the development, construction, validation and application of an in-line colorimeter used for real time color quantification of the melted flow during polymer processing in the extruder. The device uses a set of four colored LED’s, red (R), green (G), blue (B) and white (W), that intermittently and sequentially illuminate the melt flow with its intensity transmitted through the flow and quantified by a single photocell. At first the device was validated in bench using aqueous colored solutions and later in the extruder during processing, using known concentrations of the acid dye diluted in polymer. The device was able to quantify with precision and in real time the attenuation of the different wavelengths emitted by each LED, caused by the presence of chromophore groups in the melted flow. It was successful to use to monitor in real time the degradation of polypropylene submitted to multiple extrusions. Degradation was proven through off-line analyses of multiprocessed polypropylene via rheometry and spectroscopy absorption on UV-visible. It was also used to quantify color in the melted mixture of polypropylene/montmorillonite (PP/MMT) to obtain nanocomposites. Using hue and luminosity parameters of the color it was possible to follow oxidation of iron ions present as impurity in the clay structure, determining which clays were better suited to these nanocomposite production.

The evolution of the concept of hospital has provoked changes on the focus of the provision of health services and, consequently, on its management (STUMPF, 1996). As a result of these changes, it is important to understand the construction of the institutional arrangements of the medical organizations from the evolution of the concepts of Organizational Theory and, particularly, of the concepts of the new institutionalism. Machado-da-Silva and Gonçalves (1999) state that in parallel to the stage of institutionalization there is the need to consider the mechanisms of isomorphic change and the influence exerted by the environment. The aim of this study was to elucidate the mechanisms of change that compete for the isomorphism in two hospital organizations in the town of Taquaritinga-SP as well as identify the strategic responses that are undertaken by such organizations in the face of institutional pressures, from the constructs of DiMaggio and Powell (1983), in organizational level, and Oliver (1991). Questionnaires and interviews were used as data collection technique, characterized as qualitative-quantitative research. In order to understand the significant transformations that impact hospitals, a case study was carried out to evaluate the counterpoints and limitations of theoretical approaches in the structure of the organizations analyzed, comparing the results obtained, what contributed substantially to the description of the institutionalization of hospital practices focused. The mechanisms of isomorphism were established, which were present in different intensities in both organizations and was also noted the divergence between them related to strategies against such practices. Considering the limits of the survey, it was concluded that although there is no total homogeneity in the way both organizations studied behave in the face of changes, hospital practices are partially institutionalized.
