The real estate market has a key role in the country and counties economy attracting several studies and researches that explains and interpret the numerous transactions performed, and especially to find appropriate ways to define the monetary value. Usually the real estate data modeling is performed through regression models, especially the linear and also the generalized linear models ( Nelder andWedderburn, 1972). Because these data has different characteristics such as heteroscedasticity, non-normality and heterogeneity, the use of these models can suffer limitations, so it is appropriate to use more and more complex models, such as generalized additive models for location, scale and shape GAMLSS (proposed by Rigby & Stasinopoulos (2005), that allows all parameters of the response variable are modeled parametric or non parametric form. In this context and based on a dataset of urban land of São Carlos city in 2005 was estimated the empirical function the value of the land addressing the class of linear models, generalized linear models and the GAMLSS. Alternatively, considering the existence of two types of real estate prices: already sold (observed) and announced (censored), was proposed to the data, using the survival analysis considering censored left and the GAMLSS in the parameter estimation process. A simulation study and a study of local influence was also performed.

In this thesis we study the magnetic properties of the multiferroic composite (1-x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)-xPbTiO3/CoFe2O4 (PMN-PT/CFO) sintered by hot forging. Magnetization as a function of magnetic field, magnetoelectric effect and magnetostriction effect measurement were carried out at different temperatures. In the magnetization measurements there was a decrease in the value of the saturation magnetization and an increase in the value of the coercive field when compared with a sample of pure ferrite. AC susceptibility as a function of magnetic field measurements showed no change in the value of the in-phase component as a function of the frequency for measurements performed at 5 K. Magnetostriction as a function of the temperature of the samples PMNPT/ CFO and pure CFO measurements showed that the standard model that describes the magnetostrictive behavior was not sufficient to describe the obtained results. To explain the behavior of the magnetostriction was necessary to introduce terms of stress and piezomagnetism in the Gibbs free energy equation. Thus, it was possible to describe the behavior of these materials both at 300 K as at 5 K. In the magnetoelectric effect measurements it was observed that there is a strong dependence on the behavior of the curve with the frequency of the AC magnetic field and temperature. This dependence is associated with the population of the energy levels of the ferromagnetic phase that does not contribute to the magnetostrictive effect. Based on the adiabatic susceptibility model, it was able to describe this dependence in the magnetoelectric effect. Furthermore, we measured the magnetoelectric effect of the composite (1- x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)-xPbTiO3/NiFe2O4 (PMN-PT/NFO) and compared with the previously results. We didn't observe the same frequency dependence as in the composite sintered with CFO. This result is associated with the spin/orbit energy levels stabilization.

Caracterização genética populacional do dourado, Salminus brasiliensis (Pisces, Characidae, Salmininae) na Bacia do alto e médio rio Uruguai
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2014-04-01) Ribolli, Josiane; Galetti Júnior, Pedro Manoel; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7398754661670478; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2274944075694023
brasiliensis (CUVIER, 1816) is distributed in several basins of South America. Commonly known by dourado, is a large fish and economical and social importance for artisanal and sport fishing. Due to the necessity of conservation and the absence of knowledge about the genetic structure of Neotropical migratory fish, the present study aimed to infer about the mating system and population genetic parameters of S. brasiliensis from the upper and middle Uruguay River basin. Populations of adult individuals were sampled during two years in the reproductive and non-reproductive periods in the upper and middle river Uruguay. The larvae of this species were obtained from natural spawning in the upper Uruguay River basin. Genetic analyses were performed using microsatellite markers to infer parameters of genetic diversity, population structure and estimation of kinship. All populations evaluated in this study showed high levels of genetic diversity. For the first reproductive period four genetically distinct populations were identified, one corresponding to the beginning of breeding season, two to the intermediate period and one to the end of the spawning season. The populations analyzed during the non-reproductive period were genetically different between the two years of study. Both populations of reproductive and nonreproductive period did not reveal any isolation by distance in the downstream of HPP Itá area. No bottleneck effect was observed in the populations sampled in the region fragmented by hydroelectric dams; however, the populations under the influence of the dams presented small effective population sizes. The results revealed no genetic structure among populations situated upstream and downstream of the Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) Machadinho and a particular differentiation between populations sampled upstream and downstream the HPP Itá, due, probably, of the barrier resulting from the preexisting of geographical barrier in the Uruguay River, Augusto César Gorge. The analyses of kinship indicated that multiple males and females participated effectively during reproduction and spawning of S. brasiliensis evaluated in the environment. The findings of this study provide new insights into the mating system and mode of organization during the reproductive and non-reproductive period of S. brasiliensis. This information must be taken into account in decisions about fisheries management programs and in broodstock samplings and for restocking programs.
