    The human being interacts constantly with ecosystems and uses various goods and services from them. These goods and services are called "Ecosystem Services" (ES) and the benefits from these services are called "constituents of well-being." The agroecosystems are modified so that there is greater provision of certain ES, such as food, raw materials and fuels. However, to provide these ES, the agroecosystems need others ES to suits their needs, thus maintaining its production capacity. In agroecosystems, farmers are the main managers of natural resources, influencing the management directly. Therefore, understanding how farmers perceive and interact with natural resources is of great importance. This study aims to evaluate the perception of farmers on the ES, through semi-structured interviews. Analyzing ES perceived by farmers, their relationship with the agricultural practices used, with the impacts caused by agriculture and socioeconomic factors. The farmers interviewed were all in agroecological transition process and belong to settlements Ipanema and Horto Bela Vista, in the municipality of Iperó, near Ipanema National Forest. Within the results, it was observed greater perception of the production ES in relation to regulatory and cultural ES. As well the relevance of the educational level in the perception of ES. Increased awareness of the ES by farmers is of great importance, since it may well assist in agroecological transition.

    This study describes the genetic diversity of a population of Hoary foxes (Lycalopex vetulus), animal whose habitat is in the physiognomy of Cerrado, one of the most fragmented and disturbed areas of Brazil. To this end, 33 individuals were captured in a region of cattle ranches in northern Minas Gerais and southeast of Goiás. We amplified 10 microsatellite loci. Our data reveal that these loci are useful in the study of genetic conservation. The genetic diversity present in individuals captured in this study, can be considered high, despite the high degree of fragmentation in the area. The effective population size calculated in this study shows that the genetic diversity supported by the animals studied is representative of a population of approximately 1,300 individuals. We conducted kinship estimates using three methods, one by reading the genotype by software, another through information obtained by field observation studies and a final one, used only when the first two were at odds, based on par visual analysis to analyze all alleles of all loci. With the aid of GPS, the distance between related individuals, paying attention to possible gender’s variation. We conclude that the fox is able to move long distances (over thirty kilometers) and that apparently there is no difference in the male and female dispersal capacity.

    MultiFlow: uma solução para distribuição de subfluxos MPTCP em Redes OpenFlow

    This Master s thesis shows a solution for splitting MPTCP subflows in an Openflow network. MPTCP is a network protocol designed to branch a single TCP connection into many subflows. The main idea is to forward subflows th- rough disjointed paths. Commonly, ECMP protocol is adopted together to split flows through distinct paths. Nevertheless, there are many issues that shows that ECMP is not pareto-optimal, such as: ECMP can easily set two subflows from the same TCP connection on the same path and/or set a distinct forward and back forward route to the same subflow. To solve these issues, it is designed MultiFlow, a module which uses a controller for guarantee multipath routing by setting subflows from the same MPTCP connection so that such subflows are forwarded through distinct paths. MultiFlow is evaluated in experimentation where is analyzed throughput and resilience comparing it with Spanning-Tree (STP) and ECMP. The experiments were done by using Mininet: An OpenFlow emulator for experimenting with a set of topologies.
