The Statistical Process Control (SPC) is recognized in the literature as one of the main tools for controlling and improving the quality and productivity. The control chart is a central element of the SPC; and these, statistical tools whose efficiency depends on certain skills and organizational behavior. With regard to the results to the organization, it is observed that the use of control charts can be divided into two groups: those that can be directly attributed to reduced variability called hard; and those associated with the motivational aspects, or organic, called Soft. Despite the arguments in favor of SPC survey, a study conducted in the automotive sector shows that about 70% of companies have some difficulty in conducting their activities related to the SPC. On this, the literature indicates that factors related to methodological, statistical and managerial aspects of control charts of the implementation process are conditions for the success of a structured plan of implementation of the SPC. Given this situation, it is objective of this thesis contribute to an effective use of control charts by national companies, and to advances in research. To this end, we opted for a field survey to capture and describe the perceptions of experts who use control charts and working in the automotive industry. The field research was structured in three basic dimensions - statistics, methodology and management, and the results achieved by the use of the SPC, divided into Soft and Hard. The method used was based on a survey, which has a population of interest was the managers of SPC programs that use the control charts for more than 01 years in the auto parts industry. This survey was sent to 98 individuals in the population of interest, identified in the Official Guide Auto parts Industry (2014), which resulted in 37 questionnaires and valid for analysis. The results of this field research validated the hypotheses in part the theoretical framework, but showed, besides the complexity and importance of methodological and managerial aspects in the implementation of the SPC, there is a significant gap between theory and practice. This may partly be explained by the dissonance between the main scientific advances in the field, especially in the statistical aspects, and the controversies about the real benefits of SPC program. As a result of this thesis is recommended that field research has been done for that to report real success stories of the SPC; whose cases are examined in depth so that good practice is disseminated in the academic environment.

In 2001, Larissa Mies Bombardi performed a case study regarding the Agrarian Inspection Law, and more specifically the Capivari agrarian core, founed in the 1960s and that became a rural neighborhood. The present paperwork seeks a reviewing of this case study in order to approach the economic and cultural changes expressed through spacial transformations that took place between 2001 through 2015. The goal consisted in understanding the farming production processes in this core and the trasnformations ocurred since Bombardi's study, upon the concept of reproducting peasantry, of the peasants as a reproducting unit. For the conceiving of this work, first and foremost, a study of Larissa Bombardi's “O Bairro Reforma Agrária e o processo de territorialização camponesa” took place, hence the book was taken as primary reference. After, there was the accomplishment of field research, with numerous interviews held with different profiles of local dwellers. Beyond that, the discussion regarding the changes and transformations that took place since Bombardi's study and the neighborhood and the peasantry's current situation, as of 2015. After that, there's a reflection concerning education in rural schools with a singular perspective that englobes the peasant reality. Thus, it's concluded that the peasantry's deal shows it's modifications and adaptations as they happened through the years, given the numerous difficulties regarding their reproduction, as well as “mechanisms” adopted for survival and continuity of this class as expressed by the different dweller profiles compiled in this paperwork. Furthermore, it's concluded that such cultural and social modifications impact directly in the neighborhood's configuration.

(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2015-12-11) Oliveira, Bruno Henrique de; Seixas, Wladimir; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1697352974728327; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6807234510109930
In this research work, we address concepts related to Financial Mathematics. In this way, we have developed a methodology of teaching which is different than traditional method. In addition to the traditional content of this school stage (Percentage; Accruals and discounts, simple interest or compound) also approached contents that are usually presented only in courses aimed at forming a professional who has knowledge of finance in the fields of Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, etc. . These contents were financing with fixed installments, amortization and application systems with regular deposits. In our methodology we value teamwork, problem solving, research and working with tools that are available to any individual, such as the calculator (scientific), the "Calculadora do cidadão", an application available by the Central Bank and the www.calculador.com.br site.

This research aims to outline and scrutinize the set of musical practices and repertoires widespread among the Macushi, an indigenous population of Karib linguistic affiliation who currently inhabit the fields and valleys of the basins of Branco and Rupununi rivers, a region that is politically divided between Brazil and Guiana. This investigation is temporally restricted to the last decade – between 2005-2015 –, and geographically restricted to the population situated on the Brazilian side, more specifically on the territory currently known as Raposa Serra do Sol. This study intended to detail the practices, significations and meanings attributed to different musical rhythms and repertoires of Makuxi in order to understand what kind of motivational factors were implicated in the the spread of forró rhythms and in the reworking of traditional musical rhythms, notably the parixara and the tukui, in a political context in which such musical repertoires were reinterpreted and used as "cultural performances".

The sugarcane has great economic importance in Brazil. To keep productivity several biotic and abiotic factors can positively or negatively influence. Among them, weeds, nematodes and synergistic action between pesticides to control both can be cited. Thus, the present work aimed at studying possible common weeds in the mechanized harvesting system that can serve as hosts for the root knot nematode: Meloidogyne incognita and / or M. javanica and study the interaction between herbicides and nematicides used in the groove planting of sugarcane. Two experiments were carried in a greenhouse at the Agricultural Sciences Center (CCA-UFSCar), Araras, SP. The first experiment evaluated the host status ten weeds, as follows: Ipomoea triloba (Dammer), Merremia aegyptia (L.) Urban, Luffa aegyptiaca Mill, Euphorbia heterophylla L., Ricinus communis L., Crotalaria spectabilis Roth, Mucuna aterrima ( Piper & Tracy) Holland, Chloris polydactyla (L.) Sw., Digitaria horizontalis Willd., Urochloa decumbens (Stapf) RD Webster and the control (tomato Santa Cruz Kada) when inoculated with M. incognita or M. javanica in a completely randomized design in a factorial 11 x 2, with six repetitions. The plants were inoculated with 2.000 eggs and J2, and there were three plants per plot (6.000 eggs and J2 per pot - repetition). Sixty days after inoculation (DAI) the plants were removed and evaluated according to the reproduction factor (FR), final nematodes population (PF) and reproduction index (IR). In the second experiment the effect of interaction between two nematicides applied in contact with the stalks was evaluated. The nematicides tested were: benfuracarb (5,0 L ha-1) and carbofuran (50 Kg ha-1), and the herbicides applied preemergence of culture were: sulfentrazone (1,6 L p.c. ha-1), diuron + hexazinone (2,5 Kg ha1), saflufenacil (0,14 Kg p.c. ha-1) and amicarbazone (1,5 Kg p.c. ha-1). The experiment was carried in a completely randomized design in a factorial 15 x 5, with four replications in three sugarcane varieties (RB867515, RB975952 and RB975201). The first factor was corresponded to the 15 treatments and the second, to the five evaluation periods. Evaluations of intoxication symptoms were performed at 7, 15, 30, 45 and 60 days after emergence (DAE) of culture. In the last assessment biometric parameters height (cm), leaf area (cm²) and dry biomass of the aerial part (g) were evaluated. Regarding to the host status of weeds, it was found that L. aegyptiaca behaved as host of both nematodes, with FR > 1, higher than the control. The D. horizontalis was classified as host of M. incognita and non-host of M. javanica. C. spectabilis had the lowest FR and PF. R. communis and I. triloba present galls when inoculated with M. incognita, but were not considered host for presenting FR < 1. None of the weeds tested was considered immune, that is, with RF = 0. Regarding the interaction of herbicides and nematicides in all treatments, plants recover 60 DAE, and in treatments with the use of sulfentrazone increase in symptoms of poisoning was observed. As for the biometric parameters evaluated at 60 DAE, there was no statistical difference only in the variety RB867515 for height. In this case, the treatments amicarbazone / benfuracarb and amicarbazone / carbofuran plants were higher than the control and other interactions.
