listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Generalizações do truque de Kotani(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-17) Monteiro, Wagner; Oliveira, César Rogério de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5485204156806697; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4836539787517906We present a study of rank-one perturbations of self-adjoint and unitary operators, in particular related to the so-called Kotani’s trick. In Chapter 2 we recall relevant definitions and elementary facts. In Chapter 3 we present recent results by Marx, which involve self-adjoint operators and Hausdorff measures. A generalization of such results to the set of unitary operators is described in Chapter 4.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Relação entre sistema de cuidado, suporte social e fragilidade de idosos cuidadores(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-17) Rossetti, Estefani Serafim; Pavarini, Sofia Cristina Iost; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1983620301963081; Zazzetta, Marisa Silvana; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2350656835896699; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3401391863132028Population aging is a global phenomenon related to changes in family structures and functions that bring consequences to the elderly, such as: change in living conditions, challenges in the care and social support, among others. This study aims to analyze the relationship between care system, social support and the fragility of senior caregivers in the context of high social vulnerability. It is an exploratory and analytical study, using the quantitative method of investigation. The population analyzed consisted of people aged 60 or over, who takes care of the seniors and were registered in the ”Unidades de Saúde da Família” (Public Family Health Units) in a city in the state of São Paulo and who are under the care of “ Núcleo de Apoio a Saúde da Família (NASF)” (Center for Support for Family Health), in the region of ARES “Cidade Aracy” (Aracy City). Interviews were conducted in the homes of elderly caregivers and used the following instruments for data collection: Semi-Structured Interviews, The Addenbrooke's Cognitive Examination Revised (ACE R), Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS), Fragility Assessment according to phenotype Fried, family APGAR, Genogram and ecomap. Most of the caregivers are spouses (83.6%), carefully time 1-4 years (46.5%) and spending one to four hours taking care (52%) of the elderly. The most mentioned institution that assists these seniors was a health institution. The main care provided to the elderly was feeding (82.2%), followed by lead to medical appointments (63.6%). There was a statistically significant association of low-income seniors with worse cognitive performance and the negative influence of the largest number of people living at home with worse results in cognition test. It is necessary to investigate the profile of these caregivers, as most are pre-fragile, and takes care of another pre-fragile elderly. It is noteworthy that the vast majority of the elderly in this study lives in houses with a large number of people, which is common in the context of high social vulnerability and low education; it was found that this factor interferes in the cognitive performance. More studies are necessary in order to investigate the conditions offered by the society and what these seniors, families and their social network can do in favor of a healthy aging.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Da escrita da vida como construção ficcional : perspectivas de leitura de Florbela Espanca, de Agustina Bessa-Luís(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-17) Furlan, Vivian Leme; Valentim, Jorge Vicente; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4427303771174064; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5661031690302563Published in 1979, the work Florbela Espanca: vida e obra, by Agustina Bessa-Luís, shows itself as a complex characterization text to fitness in a unique literary genre, due to compose, in a first aspect, a narration of life. However, it is clear that it is not just from a pure character and simply biographical, suggesting a fluid possibility between referentiality and fictional categories. For this, the presented concerns revolve around the question how Agustina’s work feed in a hybrid communion of different textual categories. Our interests are, also, observe how this kind of genre complexity is an occurrence in author conception, mainly in the Portuguese scene after the Revolução dos Cravos placing it thus in line with female authors, allowing a contemporary work analysis, in addition to their compliance with certain neobarroco procedures that approaches the textual structure to a kaleidoscope image and its effects in the whole composition.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Crianças falam conforme o modelo mesmo quando consequências seguem falas divergentes(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-17) Souza, Rodrigo Dal Ben de; Goyos, Antônio Celso de Noronha; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3407008711535651; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7424970384206600The development and maintenance of vocal verbal repertories that follow structural regularities are processes in need for investigation under the selection by consequences paradigm. The present study investigates the effects of presenting vocal models in passive voice and explicit consequences, of high and medium preference, contingent to descriptions in active voice on the verbal voice of descriptions of Brazilian young children, 4 years old on average. Three experiments were performed. In the first, four children participated. The experimental procedure was composed by five conditions. In the first one, 10 drawings, with two animals interacting, were presented and its descriptions asked. In the second, experimenter and participant alternated in describing 20 drawings, the experimenter always described in passive voice. The third condition was similar to the second, except that descriptions in active voice (divergent) were followed by preferred consequences. The fourth condition was similar to the first one. The fifth condition was similar to the fourth, but it was conducted by an unknown experimenter. All participants described in passive voice after being exposed to the model and continued doing so even when preferred consequences followed descriptions in active voice. But the experimental design may have created a sequence effect between the second and the third conditions. Such limitation was followed in a second experiment. Other four young children participated, 4 years old on average. The procedure was similar to the first experiment, but, the model in passive voice during the second condition was replaced by the presentation of preferred explicit consequences contingent to active voice descriptions. All participants described in passive voice after being exposed to the model, except one. In order to refine the investigation, a third experiment was conducted. Other four young children mean of 4 years old, with different degrees of model following participated. The procedure was identical to the second experiment, but a pre-experimental condition was added in order to measure the participants’ sensibility to the model. Nevertheless, all participants described in passive voice after being exposed to the model in the third experimental condition. The findings point to the importance of investigations on non-arranged contingencies of reinforcement in the development and maintenance of verbal vocal repertoires that follow structural regularities.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Síntese e caracterização de sensores de gás a partir de NaxWO3+x/2.yH2O(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-17) Martins, Tiago Almeida; Longo, Elson; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9848311210578810; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3330432870882896This study consists in the synthesis and characterization of gas sensors based on hexagonal sodium-tungsten bronze powders (NaxWO3+x / 2.yH2O), whereas the gas sensors were synthesized by two routes. Both used as acid precipitation method in a sodium tungstate dihydrate solution (Na2WO4 • 2H2O). The routes were different by heating systems and in the first route obtained by the microwave-assisted hydrothermal method (HM). The second one was a hot plate with a magnetic stirrer (HP). Both syntheses were very efficient from the point of view of energy expenditure, because we obtained the NaxWO3+x/2.yH2O in short time and low temperatures. Samples were characterized by means of Raman spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), absorption in the ultraviolet and visible region (UV-Vis), photoluminescence and energy dispersive X-rays (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The bronze sensors obtained were tested against NO2 and the samples prepared by both routes were proved to be sensitive to gas. The HM samples had a higher sensitivity (Rgas / Rar ≅ 7 for 100 ppm of gás) and response time (of 1.5 minutes), with a working temperature of 250 ° C. On the other hand, the samples obtained by the PA method had the advantage of operating at working temperature of about 150 ° C, but with lower sensitivity and with a greater response time and recovery time (≅ 10 minutes). From the analysis of the photoluminescence measurement, it was possible to observe some possible relations between the type of defect as well as the sensitivity. It indicates that the larger the contribution of shallow defects in the samples, the greater sensitivity. It is suggested, therefore, from these data, that the sensor property in NaxWO3+x/2.yH2O system can be improved by the control of the defects.
