In this works we will study G-graded algebras and G-graded polynomial identities, where G is an additive group. For main result we will describe a finite basis for Zn-graded polynomial identities of the matrix algebra of order n x n, with entries in a field F, This study will be divided into two stages: when the field F has characteristic zero and when the field F is infinite. These results were described by Vasilovsky [18] in 1999 and Azevedo [2] in 2006.

The Motor Activity Log (MAL) assesses the spontaneous use of the affected upper limb during daily activities in real environments in after hemiparetic individuals stroke, reflecting their functional ability. There have been no studies analyzing the correlation between MAL Scales and sensorimotor impairment different levels in individuals post-stroke assessed by the Fugl-Meyer Scale. Objectives: To verify if there is a correlation between sensoriomotor impairment different levels of hemiparesis and the use of the paretic upper limb; to observe the differences between the MAL scales scores applied to individuals with varying degrees of impairment and to verify the dimensionality of the level of activity of scales MAL using Rasch analysis. Methods: Included 66 patients with chronic hemiparesis (n=49 - mild-moderate hemiparesis, n=17 - severe hemiparesis). All subjects were evaluated by Fugl-Meyer Scale, Mini Mental State Examination, and MAL (versions 30, 4/5 and MAL 50 – sum of the versions). The Pearson correlation test verified the correlation between the Fugl- Meyer for upper limb and the amount and quality of use scales of MAL. A one-way ANOVA for repeated measures with Bonferroni adjustment was used for each group to verify differences between MAL scales scores. In addition, the level of difficulty of the MAL activities was evaluated by the Rasch model. Results: There was high significant positive correlation between the scores of Fugl-Meyer scale and amount of use scale of MAL 30 (r = 0.76; p <0.001), MAL 4/5 (r = 0.78; p <0.001) and MAL 50 (r = 0.77; p <0.001). The amount of use and quality scale of the 3 results were different for mildmoderate hemiparesis (p <0.001). The MAL 4/5 showed the highest score compared to MAL 30 and MAL 50 in severe hemiparesis (p <0.001). The activities were ordered as the difficulty of execution, however, the MAL 4/5 activities were not the easiest. Conclusion: The higher the degree of motor impairment in hemiparesis, lower the use of the affected upper limb evaluated by MAL scale and the difficulty of the activities influences the amount of use and the quality of the affected upper limb in these individuals. The MAL 4/5, developed for individuals with severe motor impairment, does not present all the activities with less difficulty than the original scale.

This dissertation presents the route of a reasearch performed in two elementary municipal schools in a town near Sorocaba (SP). Here we use the african traditional culture Dagara and the ubuntu philosophy to recreate ancestor experiences of care and enable the enlargement of the notion of humanity developed in the ocidental contemporary education. We understand that taking care is to establish relationships and, as from the civilizing values of african societies, we aim to take care communaly, with nature and spirituality. By the cartography method, we could experience the community caring which aims to interrupt medicalization and pathologization of life, as educators somehow affected compose each child's community. Once in community, we can see the invisible dimmension of care, we admit another way to live time and aim to desconstruct any excludent devices. The care for nature happened in the school's gardening project, where the teenagers could, through their enchantment, experience communion with nature. Knowing experience with nature, drawing attention to details and imagine themselves in a pleasant situation with nature led to enchantment. Care for spirituality was due to the experience of transcendence for appreciation of ancestors. We have reconnected the teenagers to their histories, costumes and knowledge, so the workin the field was valorized and respected in the school's gardening project, as an ancestry element. At a meeting with school inspectors the transcencence experience has contributed to compose their practices' ancestry. While experiencing care in an afro-focused perspective, I have been moving on my blackening process. I have diven in the african culture, in the black culture, to make ancestry my existance's meaning. I have participated in lectures, shows and several cultural workshops so blackness could inhabit my my mode of existence and understanding the world; it has been our way to reverse the whitening phenomenon because of which black people still feel the consequences. In this dissertation we describe how care happens in the traditional african cultures perspective and leaving spoors so it can be que ele possa tried in other contexts, allthough we need to tell that these have been inspiring experiences, but they have not changed those schools, neither education in that town, country, or ocident. Exist in these experiences the bias of provisoriety, the circumstancethat only political fight can confirm and establish. A fight for a humanized education, non-hegemonic and that considers the human dimensions excluded until then, but that african traditional cultures have much to teach.

This master's research aims to 1) analyze and 2) configure the motivation by teenage students of spanish in a Language Study Center (CEL) in a learning process. We understand motivation as a complex and dynamic system, according to Dörnyei and Ushioda (2012) and Larsen-Freeman and Cameron (2008). The system is composed of different factors (systems or subsystems) that interact constantly. From this interaction, the stability of the complex system suffers shocks, causing changes because of time and / or interactions between the components themselves. Besides that, another goal of this research was to identify the motivators affordances (PAIVA, 2009) that became responsible por student’s staying in the course. Thus, data from twelve participants, obtained through the three data collection instruments (questionnaire, learning diary and semi-structured interviews), qualitatively analyzed through interpretive baseline analysis, the final step of the analysis was made a cutout in the data and we began to deepen the analysis of data from six of the participants. The research is characterized as action research, because the researcher was also teaching the participants. From the reports of the participants, first a) identified the initial motivation of each one to learn Spanish to later b) find affordances (PAIVA, 2009) that may have altered its initial condition of the motivational system. It is understood affordance as opportunities to connect with the foreign language (LE), which in addition to emerge in language, generate changes in the motivational complex systems of the participants. The results show that participants mostly did not have initial motivation to learn Spanish, but in contact with affordance, their motivational complex systems had been increasing. The most recurrent affordance for motivation were identified: interaction / group training; activities in the classroom and teacher performance. This may seem to be the main affordance responsible for the change of the initial student’s motivation. The conclusion is that teacher performance was felt by the participants of the research as subjective and also because of hers metodolical and didactical choises.

The changes that occurred with the paternal role over the years have a more involved parent affectively participating, whenever possible, everything that goes around your child.Such changes in parenting are changes reflections that occur among the family. Going through a metamorphosis, with currently new family rearrangements, the family also changed the configuration of their member. The same occurs when there is the presence of a disabled child in the family environment, new modifications tend to be carried out, thus aiming at the welfare of the child. Even with the later discovery, the same occurs with the disorder Autistic Spectrum - TEA. This is characterized by intellectual, communicative and social commitment, it has its later diagnosis, and its main features presented around 18 months old. The first investigations arise from observations of parents and close family members who notice a break in typical development that the child had been presenting and becomes no longer present. From this, the present study aims to: (a) to characterize and understand the parental relationship between parents and children with autism and (b) identify the father of the needs of children with autism. The participants were 15 parents (man), who had a son with autism. Data collection occurred with parents in a mediumsized municipality in the state of São Paulo. interviews with participants were carried out in addition to the use of Economic Classification Criteria Brazil - CCEB in order to characterize the family of the interviewed participants finally used the Needs Questionnaire Family - QNF. The data were analyzed qualitatively, performing content analysis. The results showed a greater participation of the father during pregnancy, and most of them said to have accompanied his wife in prenatal consultations. It was possible to verify that the diagnosis of autism prevailed around two years of age, however, the aspects that led parents to suspect this deficiency varied, highlighting the speech delay, followed by developmental delays, and behavioral changes. Parents held a self-analysis regarding the exercise of paternity and most of them said they consider a good father, however, others indicated that they could improve. Parents also showed their expectations about the future of the children, most parents pointed out that expects the child to be independent, followed by parents who expect the child to have a normal life. The results indicated QNF needs of parents regarding how to teach the child and the need for information regarding disability. From this, it follows that today men have a prominent role with the responsibilities to the child, even on domestic issues. The fact of having a child with autism brings challenges and needs, but many parents have managed to adapt the same.

(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-22) Barea, Emerson Rogério Alves; Marcondes, César Augusto Cavalheiro; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4431183539132719; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4028338885658271
This work presents a novel architecture for the address translation service (NAT) with efficient scalability through the use of Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) in low cost computing environments. To this end, a virtualized network function (VNF) of NAT is instantiated in a minimal OS (ClickOS) and uses a feedback control system to smooth the rate control. Our results indicate that the proposed architecture meets several relevant NFV requirements, including high efficiency, obtaining up to 900% higher throughput gains compared to Linux NAT. In addition, the Proportional Integral control system (PI) yields 85% accuracy in estimating the exact rate using only 3 samples.

This study was made with Lyra Tatuí Brass Orchestra (Orquestra de Metais Lyra Tatuí), a collective music practice project, attending people from 5 to 24 years old which was created in 2002, in Tatuí city, countryside of São Paulo state, Brazil. It was created and developed by the volunteer work of two professional musicians who played in orchestras, started the projetct within the city public schools. In order to join the ensemble, instrument was not needed, neither knowing how to play it, beyond being free. This research sets out to comprehend the educative processes from the group practices of the ensemble that relates to human development of its participants. In a qualitative approach, this research had the field diary as main instrument for data collection, build through participant observation in activities as rehearsals, performances and living together moments between June 2014 and June 2015. The analysis process was made by looking for units in the diaries and grouping them, crating the categories that was discussed from theroretical framework. It is sustained mainly by the Education understanding of the brazilian educator Paulo Freire, and others concepts that dialogue with this perspective, such as Humanizing Music Education (Ilza Joly, Carlos Kater, Hans-Joachim Koellreutter, Mariana Galon, Mariana Ament, Natália Severino, Pedro Dutra, Maria Carolina Joly), Epistemologies of South (Boaventura Souza Santos e Maria Paula Meneses) and Community Music (Lee Higgins). Analysis reveals that both structured music activities, as the moments resulting from these activities bring music, social and human educative processes between educators, participants and community involved. The educative processes such as respect, lovingness, autonomy and commitment are essentially conected with the educative action, in a way that, in music, "tunning an instrument" can encourage or discourage those aspects depending on how it is conducted.

Nowadays smartphones are composed of a wide range of sensors and resources such as GPS (Global Positioning System), Bluetooth and Internet connection through Wi-Fi, 3G, among others resources. Along with the smartphone’s increasing popularity around the world, there is an increasing development and popularity of power-hungry applications: applications that take advantage from these resources and may reduce the smartphones autonomy. This fact is known as one of the biggest to be solved when talking about nowadays smartphones. Considering this, many solutions were proposed and approach this topic in different ways. These solutions can be classified in two major groups: software layer solutions and hardware layer solutions. In one hand, the software layer solutions are the ones that try to reduce the smartphone’s energy drain by only changing the software that composes the smartphone. For example, by improving the Wi-Fi interface or managing the running applications of the smartphone. On the other hand, the hardware layer solutions are the ones that try to improve or increase the energy availability of the smartphone changing or improving only the physical components, for example evolving the technology regarding the batteries. This study presents an approach in software layer for this problem: a system for managing the states of the smartphone’s sensors and components, based on the user profile, aiming energy savings. This work consisted of three steps. In the first step the literature research was done and also a research of the existing solutions in the same area. In the second step the mechanism, called MyBatRecommender, composed by the server and client sides, was presented and developed for the Android operational system. In the last step some validation tests were applied aiming to verify the system efficiency. The results show that when applied to a controlled scenario, the MyBatRecommender achieves around thirty-two per cent of energy savings.

The Law of Directives and Bases of National Education. - LDB (Lei No. 9.394 / 1996), in its Article 3, establishes the principles for the implementation of public education, and the Item VIII defines the democratic management of public education, in terms of the law and legislation of education systems as one of these principles. Therefore, we may see that there was, and still is, in Brazil a legal guidance to start a democratic process that seeks to enhance, among other things, the participation of the school professionals and the surrounding community, which also includes students and their families, in the school management, in order to find ways to increase the quality of teaching and learning in public schools. Thus, the real and effective performance of the democratic management needs to be better understood. This study aims to statistically verify and analyze if the democratic management have impacts on the performance of schools in external evaluations, as well as to determine whose place it occupies in the hierarchy of variables that impact on these indicators. To achieve this goal, a literature review was conducted on the topics: school councils, democratic management and external and large scale assessments. In addition, an empirical research through statistical analysis from information from the following sources of official information: School Census (2012 and 2013), Prova Brasil and SAEB raw data (2013), IDEB (2013) and the databases of the Interactive PDDE (2013). The results of this study showed that the highest average IDEB refer to schools where the School Councils always define and validate their pedagogical, financial and administrative aspects. In addition, the construction of a pedagogical project with the participation of the whole school community, parental involvement in School Councils, frequency of School Councils meetings and the selection of the school principal by direct election or public tender are other factors related to democratic management that influence positively IDEB figures.

(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-02-22) Costa, Elen de Fátima Lago Barros; Bezerra, Maria Cristina dos Santos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1095065753077001; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4214548964349807
To analyze the recent history of Brazil, it finds that the periods of two terms of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva´s government (2003-2010) are emblematic regarding the political and economic context, the educational paradigm assumed and the resulting reforms of this new model and consequently the changes in republican institutions, legitimating spaces that materialize these policies. In the Lula´s government, among other actions, is the core formulating a new institutional framework of Vocationa and Technological Education, geared to meet even more the needs not only of this new cycle of the economy, as well as a large portion of the population that needed professional qualification of technical level. It would be interesting also that this service could be effected by an institution that offers, in the same space, levels and modes of different teachings. Answering to such demands, the Federal Government created and expanded a new network of vocational and technical education "singular and plural curricular" – Federal Institutes of Education, Sciense and Thecnology (IFET's). In this way, the objective of this research is to analyze the changes in career and in teacher’s workon IFET's, after the creation / expansion of new network of Vocational and Technological Education, which began in the country, from the first term of the government of Luis Inacio Lula da Silva and consolidated in the government of Dilma Roussef. It was defined as specific objectives: to analyze the goals, principles and purposes of IFETs, the intended to effected by establishing a relationship between the current legislation and the empirical field, supported by data and voice of the subjects; verify the specifics of the expansion of IFET in Brazil and Maranhão, studying their links with politics and with local production arrangements; analyze what level of understanding of teachers about changes in the field of vocational and technological education, as well as its relations with the current economic climate; verify that the transformation to IFET promoted and / or promote changes in the work of the teachers who work in this institution, if these teachers perceive them and how they deal with them. As empirical field defined the Federal Institute of Maranhão (IFMA).Our hypothesis is that the expansion of vocational education policy and technology adopted in Brazil, from the first commandment of the Lula government and to the present day, follows some unique characteristics, characterized by a mass certification of "invisible of the lula", so, a large portion of the working class with little education and / or professional qualification, concentrated in the poorest regions of the federation, on the outskirts of large urban centers of the country. In addition, we assume that the changes implemented at the institutional level have modified the teacher's work with regard to the way of doing science, in the development of their professional activities, as well as their working hours. To confirm this hypothesis and assuming that the organization of production in the capitalist mode is marked by contradictory aspects, this research took advantage of dialectical and historical reference, in particular, expressing Marx´s studies and authors of today's Marxist matrix, believing that this framework will bring the necessary support so that this phenomenal appearance and contradictory to be unveiled.

Although there are several mathematical models in the literature used for paste drying in spouted beds, few of them have focused on transient analysis of dynamic system. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to integrate experiments and simulations of a dynamic model to study the paste drying process in a spouted bed with inert particles. The tests were conducted to investigate the transient response by mean of experiments with disturbances and intermittences in the paste feed rates for understand the behavior of process during periods in which the equipment undergoes transients states. The experiments drying were performed in a spouted bed of cylindrical column of 50.0 cm of height and 20.0 cm of diameter for inlet gas temperatures of 70 °C and 100 °C and inlet spout air flow rate at 30% above the minimum spouting velocity. The paste used was a calcium carbonate suspension with solid concentration of 5 % w/w and glass spheres of 2,2 mm of average diameter used as inert particles. To describe the heat and mass transfer phenomena in the drying process was used semi-empirical models found in the literature. The models consist of an ordinary differential equations system coupled with an empirical equation to determine the water evaporation rate. For the numerical solution of the models, was developed a computer code based in Fortran 90 programming language using the DIVIPAG subroutine from IMSL library. Comparative analysis between experimental and simulated data were performed and it was verified that the adapted models represented good the paste drying process in the spouted bed under different conditions. The results obtained in this study showed good agreement with the behavior found in the literature and with the physical principles of momentum, heat and mass transfer involved in the process. This work contributed to a better understanding of the paste drying in spouted bed when the process goes by transit states due to disturbances and intermittences in the paste feed rates.

Mother's affective bond with the baby is stablished from the first diade interactions as well as the quality of this relationship, which can be observed in several situations, from breastfeeding to playing. The puerperium, a period initiated soon after the baby bearing, may be a period tending to crisis, mainly when bearing a baby needing health care, what can cause some damage in this initial relationship. After the baby bearing this interaction may weaken when the mother bears a a premature baby, who needs to remain in the hospital environment. The knowledge about mother-baby interactions in the initial developing phases contributes to understand the human development process. The research intends to understand and characterize the interactional processes of risking mother-baby diade in the context of the hospitalization on the first days of life; characterize maternal behaviors present in the motherinfant interaction in hospital care and free interaction situations; identify and describe the factors that can interfere with the establishment of the initial interaction during the baby's hospital stay. This is a study qualitative, exploratory and descriptive approach. Semi-structures interview, field dairy and observation have been used as investigation techniques and data selection, in situations observed when feeding, bathing, diaper changing and free interacting. This study was conducted in two maternity, nursery and rooming-in, located in the state of São Paulo. The sample was composed of five babies, of both sexes, born between 34 and 37 weeks gestational age and their first-time mothers. The data analyses has been quanti-qualitative, by describing the mothers' behaviors, their occurence, and thematic content analysis as well. The data analysis allows the identification of seven categories: Event, pregnancy and childbirth: sensations, feelings and experienced changes; physical and behavioral characteristics of the baby; mother-infant initial interaction; hospital and staff: facilities and interference in the interaction; difficulties mothers; emotional support; concerns and expectations. The results show the complexity of maternal experience in hospital context of premature child, permeated by fear, insecurity and doubts arising from the baby's fragility. It was identified facilitating factors such as the presence of family members in the hospital, and complicating factors, such as performing breastfeeding and actively participate in the care of the baby. The bath was touted as the hardest care to be carried out, related to the newborn fragility and the mother of inexperience. It is concluded that the mothers have expected behaviors with their babies in the initial interaction, still in the hospital environment. In some contexts as well as in hospitalization the service dynamisc/routine and the professional attitudes/postures generate stress. New researches are supposed to be performed in order to spread the comprehension about caring actions which should be humanized and implemented to grant the positive future development of the mother-baby diade.
