In order to do so, agroforestry yards must also promote the conservation of agrobiodiversity, as well as the provision of environmental services. For such the present work makes an analysis through a bibliographical review to verify if the agroforestry yards are adding to the agrobiodiversity conservation and if the possibility exists to adopt these systems in the current legislations of the São Paulo state as a method of restoration of legal reserves (LR) and permanent preservation areas (PPA). In this respect, it was analyzed the Forestry Law nº 12.651/2012 and the state resolutions SMA nº 44/2008 and SMA nº 32/2014, considering a set of guiding concepts, attributes and standards applied to the ecological services´ analysis prone to being obtained in agroforestry yards. On evaluation of the legal measures relating to the theory of the ecological services, it was featured the concepts related to the cultural issues, regulation and support. It´s been observed that the attributes relating to cultural issues were not explicit in any of the legislations. The analysis of the other concepts highlighted the potentiality and the relevance of embracing agroforestry yards on ecological services´ rendering, inside legal reserve and preservation areas - mainly if the legal requirements embeds the cultural issues.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Análise dos aspectos legais e normativos do uso de fotografias contidas em teses e dissertações disponíveis na BDTD/IBICT(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-12-15) Silva, Priscila da; Furnival, Ariadne Chloe Mary; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1291482506649810This study investigated the ownership of photographs contained in theses and dissertations collected in BDTD / IBICT, with the beginning of his reflections the current scenario, known as the information society, characterized by intense information exchange. In this scenario, the user information need to be increasingly aware of how appropriates the information, seeking to be based on ethical behavior. Such behavior involves knowledge of how various content available on the Internet, knowledge of the law governing copyright and uses of intellectual works in Brazil and the knowledge of the citation and reference standards. In this perspective the curriculum must be the way that builds the transformation possibility with the individuals. The concepts reviewed in this research were the ideology and emancipation, substantiated by the Critical Theory and the Humanizing Education. All of the concepts here introduced were discussed related to the Curricular Matrix of Sorocaba's Education Municipal System construction in order to analyse this document from a perspective of an education that effectively contributes to the emancipation of the individuals which is indeed committed to reality transformation. The methodology of this research sought to involve itself with the reality understanding, not a neutral understanding, but a ethically oriented one. To seek the answers for the research's problems, the document's analysis was created. The analysis took us to issues and discussions related with the theoretical foundations of this research and unveiling as for the ideological use of the emancipation concept. In the analysis it considered that by the use of the critical reading of documents which underlie education it is possible to realize the ideology diffusion, since a lot of documents make use of the emancipation concept in a ideological manner to mask its genuine conception, hampering the curriculum and education's understanding in a emancipation perspective. Many documents present a false speech of freedom and individuals emancipation, but if you read it critically and through the document's analysis, based on genuine references committed with the emancipatory education it is possible to reveal the intention of instill into the consciences false ideas for accepting things as they are, in other words, adjust men to the reality. The analysis developed revealed the ideological use and the ideological appropriation of the emancipation concept.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, “Diversidade e Evolução de Vertebrados” na formação de professores: percepções, desafios, dificuldades e possibilidades de superação(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-12-15) Antunes, Taine Vandressa; Nascimento, Fabrício do; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3496410597486943; Mattox, George Mendes Taliaferro; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4453900943293186; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8735417235105939Vertebrates constitute the subphylum known as Vertebrata of the Phylum Chordata whose present diversity is fascinating. Although these animals attract attention because they are common in our daily lives, the largest challenge is the understanding of the biological diversity gathered under the same evolutionary history that should overcome the plethora of names and become significant in the teaching-learning process. It is fundamental, therefore, to understand how university students learn and the difficulties faced in the construction of knowledge, being crucial the constant search for strategies, didactic tools and alternatives to facilitate that construction. Thus the aims of the present study involved the qualitative survey of perceptions of undergraduate students of the licentiate degree in Biological Sciences at UFSCar - Campus Sorocaba regarding the learning of the contents of the discipline Diversity and Evolution of Vertebrates, discussing the main difficulties and contributions of this discipline to the Teacher training. The results showed that students difficulties involved basal groups mainly before Tetrapoda, concepts in Phylogenetic Systematics, "Reptilia" and the evolution of the temporal fenestra. Moreover, the lack of proper material such as illustrated guides to support examination of specimens in Lab Classes was cited by many students as an important limitation to learning. Seeking a proposal to cope with the difficulties was elaborated resulting in the Practical Guide: Diversity and Evolution of Vertebrates, a digital material to support Lab Classes, and it was suggested the development of an app related to the guide aiming at facilitating the access to updated contents and to optimize the teaching-learning process.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A esmola e a rede de proteção : um estudo de instituições assistenciais para as pessoas que vivem nas ruas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-12-15) Melo, Natália Maximo e; Rizek, Cibele Saliba; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0540870380815135; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3166409854581684Innumerous City Halls all over Brazil promote periodic campaigns using slogans such as: “Do not spare money: give citizenship and future”, or “Do not spare money. Refer to Assistance services”. Based on these assumptions, we intend to investigate the strategies followed by São Carlos (SP) government in order to manage this population and to keep these people under institutional control. São Carlos was one of the first non-metropolitan cities where homeless population issues were articulated to the establishment of Municipal-Level Public Policies. Having these aspects in mind, some research questions can emerge: Which is this population that is considered as a target by the government? What is the Institutions’ role in the management of homeless people? Methodologically, we observe some practices promoted by the institutions which manage this population, analyzing them through the theories created by Das and Poole in their work State and its Margins: comparative ethnographies (2008). The margins, in our study, cover, thus, Governmental and Non-governmental Organizations; they also cover these organizations’ employees, target public and individuals who are helped by their assistance. Our research mainly investigates the Centro POP (a National Social Assistance Policy Unit administrated by the City Hall) as well as the Hostel (a philanthropic institution which supports and donates tickets to travellers) and the Religious Community (a volunteer work that assists homeless people). To develop this research, we collected in two newspapers from São Carlos dated from 2007 to 2013, as well as the Centro POP’s documentation. We interviewed several people who work at Centro POP and observed their routine as well. Our investigation also based its analysis on the verification of volunteer work promoted by a religious group on a City Center Square and on visits to Assistance Institutions, such as a Hostel and a Religious Community (House of Prayer), related to charity and shelter. We verify these data under Foucault’s (1992, 1999, 2006, 2008) perspectives. According to them, power permeates all kinds of relationships, shaping a microphysics which combines technology and power mechanisms to develop a population that may be managed, articulating some disciplines which, in turn, dominate individuals’ bodies and souls. The results show that a homeless population local Policy may be considered as a device, in which homeless people are connected to social representation, to institutional rules, to philanthropic and state institutions, their specialized professionals, according to a labyrinth of population management.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Nos caminhos da cultura e dos dons : os Guarani e instituições no norte do Paraná(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-12-15) Costa, Samuel Douglas Farias; Vianna, Anna Catarina Morawska; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2245801371286766; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2701528227753333Indigenous Land Pinhalzinho, in Tomazina, and the city of Maringá. Two places in north of Paraná separated by about 250 km and connected by a relational complex that involves Guarani people and some institutions, including the Associação Indigenista – ASSINDI – Maringá and the Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM). In the village, the Guarani practice praying, develop leaders, hunting, fishing, produce crafts, among other actions related to the enunciations of culture and the experience of the gifts. Culture and gifts emerge also in Maringá, a city that does not contain indigenous villages, but still a space for mobility and presence of Guarani people. Two are the reference points to think the indigenous presence in the city: the ASSINDI and UEM. In Pinhalzinho, in turn, there are also institutions such as the indigenous school and the health center, as well as a diversity of projects. This ethnography sought to follow the paths of the enunciated culture and the gifts in this relational complex between the village and the town and think the extent to which the Guarani’s perspectives contrast or make up with institutional perspectives. For this, it was conducted an ethnographic experiment that, giving priority for the Guarani’s perspectives, descriptively organizes this composite of relations from four points of references that articulate culture, gifts, life in the village, life in the city and relationships with institutions.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Políticas de ações afirmativas no Brasil: a UFSCar Sorocaba como objeto de recorrência(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-12-15) Toubia, Ariane Andreia Teixeira; Lima, Paulo Gomes; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5109357037661496; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1796810373166008The objective of the research was to analyze the prevailing challenges and referrals of UFSCAR-Campus Sorocaba, as the improvement and expansion support for the student from the Affirmative Action Program, from the speech of PROGRAD and PROACE representatives managers on campus. The methodological theoretical axis constitutes a preliminary bibliographic and documentary by CAPES files data level theses and dissertations of the UFSCAR, listing is relevant and approximate the thematic work. Then we chose the neoinstitutionalism as an analytical theoretical framework, whose emphasis is the study of the institution and its partners, guided by qualitative approach and this cut out the case study, considering that the UFSCar, Campus Sorocaba epistemological research site. The interviews were conducted by the structure of a semi-structured script of questions, preceded by the characterization of the respondents. We interviewed two subjects: 1 representative of the Dean of Undergraduate (PROGRAD) on campus, through the Department of Sorocaba Undergraduate Education (DeEG-Sor) and another of Dean of Community Affairs and Student (PROACE) through Department of Community Affairs and Student Sorocaba - Section of Social Care, Health and Sports (SeASSE). The interviews were conducted by the structure of a semi-structured script of questions, preceded by the characterization of the respondents. We interviewed two subjects: 1 representative of the Dean of Undergraduate (PROGRAD) on campus, through the Department of Sorocaba Undergraduate Education (DeegSer) and another of Dean of Community Affairs and Student (PROACE) through Department of Community Affairs and Student Sorocaba - Section of Social Care, Health and Sports (SeASSE). In the procedural scope, it has been used the document analysis technique (CELLARD, 2010) regarding the registrations and initiatives of the UFSCAR-Sorocaba campus. Regarding the data collection technique, the interviews have helped us to understand their statements about student support at the UFSCar-Sorocaba campus (POUPART, 2010), followed by the content analysis (BARDIN, 2009), in order to understand the voices of respondents and their returns, albeit implicit. Through the answers of respondents found that the adoption of affirmative action policies in UFSCar, not only contributed to provide greater access to historically excluded groups, as provided for students staying conditions through specific institutional support under material and food monitoring, health, transportation, among others.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Divulgação científica por meio de ferramentas digitais : estudo de caso do portal do Instituto de Física de São Carlos (IFSC/USP)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2016-12-15) Spina, Tatiana Gladcheff Zanon; Kerbauy, Maria Teresa Miceli; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4762029784021248; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8219619703431459Quali-quantitative diagnosis of São Carlos Institute of Physics (IFSC/USP) website to verify its communicational effectiveness with intern (IFSC/USP teachers, employees and students) and extern public.
