This dissertation naimed to analyze the discourses about violence in the programs of the State Department of Education of São Paulo - SEESP - who se purpose is to avoid violence in school settings. Two questions guide dour research: Why are there so many programs created to avoid violence? In which way these programs understand violence and what are their conceptions of school, youth and society? We conducted a documentary research on the different material sand official texts for each program. The analysis of the discourses was based on the archaeological and genealogical method of Michel Foucault. We verified that the different discourses, with their statements, presented common conceptions about violence, youth and society, contradicting our initial hypothesis. However, despite the unity of the discourse on violence, the different programs did not dialogue among themselves. Were alized that statements presented the school as a victim external violence, and actions aimed at prevention are also located outside school, especially in partnerships with institutions of the Secretariat of Public Security and with the Judiciary Branch. In this way, educational activities to avoid and control violence are rarely discussed. The discourses of social vulnerability and risk are constantly being used to characterize young people who need measures of prevention, assimilation and control to avoid violence. The discourses do not address society, but rather the community that must be integrated into the school as a form of violence prevention. We did not observe in the discourses solutions aimed at the democratic management of conflicts and violence, although in the discourses democracy and citizenship are always tooken as an ideal that are desirable and that violence can avoid. We also verify that, progressively, SEESP is abandoning the discourse of prevention and violence combat in favor of discourses of conflict mediation.

Formação matemática do professor polivalente: um estudo metanalítico
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-02-20) Silva, Jaqueline Ferreira da; Nakayama, Bárbara Cristina Moreira Sicardi; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9746628149674449; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8381380756008429
The purpose of this paper is to report a research linked to the Observatory of Education Program and to the Group of Studies and Research on Educational Practices in Mathematics (GEPRAEM). It was developed in the Graduate Program in Education of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) - Sorocaba campus. The question that guided the study was: Which perceptions about formation and mathematical knowledge seem to support the research that discusses the mathematical formation of the polyvalent teacher? In view of these questions, the objectives of this research are: to make it possible to understand that when discussing the mathematical training offered in the courses of Pedagogy, the formation of a professional working in the context of polyvalence is being problematized; Identify definitions of mathematical knowledge; To characterize the movement of appropriation of repertoires and knowledge related to the mathematical knowledge of the teaching professional that works in the context of polyvalence and offer subsidies to (re) think the models of their formation. The research is structured from the perspective of qualitative analysis and methodology integrates the mapping of the productions within a temporal cut and the perspective of the metaanalysis. The data collection was based on the mapping and analysis of the research published in the National Meeting of Mathematics Education (ENEM) and the International Symposium on Mathematical Education (SIPEM) that deal with the mathematical education of the pedagogue. For the analysis, theoretical methodological references on teacher education were used, especially on the mathematical formation of the polyvalent teacher, among them are the studies of CURI (2004); CURI & PIRES (2013); D'AMBRÓSIO (1993); PONTE (2008); RIBEIRO (2016). The results indicate: a great variety of points of view in the mathematical formation of the polyvalent teacher; Tendency to favor methodological aspects of Mathematics; Concern with the modification of teachers' beliefs and conceptions about Mathematics, their teachinglearning and the need to think about the context of polyvalence as the main source of action of the polyvalent teacher. Considering the indissociability with other disciplines and the development of autonomy in the child as a condition of the work of the polyvalent teacher implies principles that reinforce the relevance of the relationship between the subjects in the teaching-learning process. It implies recognizing the existence of a professional who is responsible for the development of the child as a whole. It is, therefore, a subject that allows senses to the teaching-learning process, to meet the needs of the child, that is, to serve as a reference and mediator of these actions.

School engagement, defined as the relationship between student and school experiences, is essential for education. Thus, factors from the school context which may influence school engagement, especially interpersonal relations among school members, has been investigated. Therefore, the present research aimed to investigate the influence of bullying involvement and teacher-student relationship on student school engagement. For this, the present work is a compilation of two scientific manuscripts. The first paper presents a review of Brazilian and international literature on the influence of teacher-student relationship and bullying involvement on school engagement. The databases ERIC, LILACS, PsycINFO, Scielo, Scopus, Web of Science and CAPES Periodicals Portal were consulted, from 2007 to November 2016, using the terms "teacher-student relationship", "bullying" and "school engagement", as well as their correlates in Portuguese. The inclusion criteria were scientific papers, in Portuguese or English, available online, which investigated an association between the variables of interest. 174 articles were found, of which 160 were excluded after reading the title and/or abstract, remaining 14 articles of the initial search. In addition, nine manuscripts known by the authors which did not appear in the initial search, but met the inclusion criteria, were added. Therefore, 23 articles were analyzed and results showed that teacher-student relationship and bullying involvement are correlated with student school engagement and may predict it. Thus, students who have positive teacher-student relationships tend to have higher school engagement, while students who have conflicting teacher-student relationships or have some bullying involvement tend to have lower school engagement. Furthermore, it has been identified that there is a lack of evidence regarding the simultaneous effects of bullying involvement and teacher-student relationship on school engagement. In this context, the second study was conducted, in which an explanatory model of school engagement was analyzed, considering the mutual influence of teacher-student relationship and bullying involvement. For this, 426 Brazilian Elementary School students (grades 6-9), from four public schools located in a city of São Paulo State, Brazil, answered the Escala de Violência Escolar – Versão Estudante (School Violence Scale – Student Version), Escala de Relação Professor-Aluno (Student-Teacher Relationship Scale) and School Engagement Scale. Results indicated that bullying involvement has a direct negative impact on school engagement, while teacher-student relationship has a direct positive impact on school engagement. In addition, bullying involvement and teacher-student relationship can simultaneously influence school engagement, and teacher-student relationship would mediate the impacts of bullying involvement on student school engagement. Results obtained in these two studies confirm the importance of promoting positive social relations in school. Keywords: bullying; teacher-student relationship; school engagement.

This research aims to investigate the relation between pedagogical ideas and the innovation process of school education praxis. The objective is to comprehend how the process of production, appropriation and dissemination of pedagogical ideas is developed and how they articulate to school educational practice, by suggesting innovations with a view to apprehend the paradox of innovation and demystify the process of mythologizing the "new", to get closer to the practice as it is in classroom and, then, understand in a more concrete and entirely shape the school educational phenomenon. As theoretical-conceptual tools we admit the notions from the studies of "cultural translation", "hybridity" and "grammar of schooling", because they offer insights to understand the pedagogical ideas motives of traveling from their sites of origin, how they are apprehended at their arrival places, and how school educational practice articulates with innovation. All those process, when involving "cultural translation agents" and "authors of manuals”, which are responsible for translation of theories and practices from abroad into the national context and mediation of these to the school context - resulting in the study of intellectuals and their printed matter, admits the educational impressions of Carlos da Silveira and José Scaramelli as primary sources of investigation as the object of study. Intermediate intellectuals who would roam between the proposers (theoreticians) and the executors (teacher) acting as mediators and disseminators of the foreign pedagogical ideas in the country. Translated, in a literally and culturally way, in their forms, these pedagogical ideas were disclosed as theoretical-practical repertoire that was intended to instrument the teachers work in the classroom, and offered didactic and method which concentrate the innovation of educational practice and the revolution of the national school. Viewing such predicates, we could exam the pedagogical ideas in this work with a view to the apprehension of: what the authors present as "new" and whether the "new" they propose would be, as situated by both, different from what would already be placed in the school context and, capable of radically transforming the Brazilian school educational practice, establishing the other thing, which was until then, nonexistent. As categories of analysis, we delimit the conceptions of education and fundamentals of didactics and methodology, the latter being contrasted with prescriptions for the effectiveness of the teaching process, synthesized in the proposals of lessons and activities to be carried out by the teacher. Due to the production process of the “new” result from changes engendered in times of crisis, whose coexistence of temporalities accrues in the opening of fissures, it imposes other ways of thinking and providing the understanding and objectification of the existence conditions of present human life, giving the conditions for the emergence of the "new”. The First Brazilian Republic was established as a time frame for this research investigation object, since it comprises the intermission of time in which the bases of the Brazilian society are shaken because of the historical and social demands of in a time that imposes changes in its structure and relationships.

(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-02-20) Fenerick, Gabriele Maris Pereira; Silva, Márcia Regina da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5381461208053330; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5140638870402154
Adapting constantly to new scenarios, society develops with great influence of technology. Smartphones, communication technology present in the various social layers, can contribute to the democratization of access to scientific information. Considering the social dimensions that this fact extends, it is understood that it is necessary to carry out studies that establish an association between the theoretical and practical perspectives that involve such questions. Therefore, the objective of this research is to investigate how smartphones effectively contribute to the access to scientific information by young students of the Álvaro Guião State School, located in the city of São Carlos, São Paulo. The justifications for conducting this research are based on the need to understand how these students currently contemplate aspects related to science. The proposed methodology is based on two aspects: 1) theoretical study through a bibliographical survey, comprising the themes: Scientific dissemination; Scientific information; Scientific communication by electronic means; And Information and Communication Technologies; 2) empirical study - developed based on experimental knowledge of young smartphone users. The data collection instrument used in this research was the questionnaire, applied to a group of young people, students of the third year of high school at the Álvaro Guião school, in the city of São Carlos. The results of the research demonstrated that despite different socioeconomic contexts and social environments among groups of students, there is a valorization of scientific information by the dominant cultural capital in the school environment that encourages them to access scientific dissemination in order to have sociability. It is concluded that the availability of open networks added to the increase in the number of young people who have smartphones, effectively contribute to the scientific dissemination and, consequently, to the access of these students to scientific information.

The way parents of disabilities children deal with day by day situations involving their children can influence the final results of their search for information and services essential to the child's development. Considering the decisive factor in child development that deals with both the empowerment of families and the repertoire of parents social skills, the purpose of the study (a) to characterize the level of empowerment and the social skills repertoire of disabilities children’s parents in child development from zero to six years of age; (b) to verify the relationship between empowerment, social skills and sociodemographic variables; (c) verify the parents' perception about the school, the services and the legal rights of the handicapped child. The Data collection took place in four distinct locations, located in three municipalities in the interior of São Paulo. The parents’ interviews were conducted individually and lasted on average 40 minutes. Twenty-nine mothers and six parents disabilities children’s or retarded child development participated in this study. To respond to the objectives the participants were evaluated according to their conceptions about the school, the services and the legislation, the level of empowerment and the repertoire of social skills. For that, were used the Questionnaire about the conception of parents - school, services and legislation, Brazil Criteria Questionnaire, the Family Empowerment Scale, and the Social Skills Inventory. The quantitative data obtained through the instruments were analyzed using descriptive statistics (measures of central tendency and dispersion). In order to relate the variables obtained through the instruments, the Spearman Posto-Order Correlation Coefficient was used. The results showed that in the case of empowerment, the factor that presented the highest average was Competence (M = 4.13), so it is possible to affirm that the participants feel that they are good parents and are confident in solving problems. However, the factor that measured the Militancy System obtained the lowest mean (M = 3.28), and the items that presented lower scores were related to aspects as to get in touch with politicians and authorities, and to give suggestions to those responsible for improvements in the services offered the children. In addition, the analysis has shown that it is not possible to state that an individual who has a good repertoire of social skills will also have a high level of empowerment. However, parents who have a good average in the factor that measured the militancy tend to be more informed parents about the services that the children receive and parents with a high level of knowledge tend to have more self-control In the face of aggressive situations. Therefore, it is possible to consider that knowing the level of empowerment and the repertoire of social skills of disabilities children’s parents is essential to think ways to work and establish possible intervention programs aimed at this public.

(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-02-20) Jesus, Isabela Thaís Machado de; Zazzetta, Marisa Silvana; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2350656835896699; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6262935093713981
Introduction: Aging accompanied by frailty can burden services in basic protection and primary care that assist the elderly population. Assessing the frailty in the elderly in a context of social vulnerability can contribute to the improvement of the quality of social facilities that care for the elderly. Objective: To analyze the frailty of elderly people living in neighborhoods with social vulnerability and enrolled in Social Care Referral Centers (CRAS) in relation to quality of life, cognition, family and external relations in a city in the interior of the State of São Paulo. Methods: Exploratory, comparative and transversal study, using the quantitative research method. This study used and expanded the database of the research entitled "The frailty of the elderly and the Basic Attention System of Social Assistance". In the study were: semi-structured evaluation; Edmonton Frailty Scale to check for frailty; Whoqol-bref and Whoqol-old to check the quality of life; The Montreal Cognitive Assessment for screening for cognitive impairment; Genogram to check the family relations and Ecomapa to check the external relations. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Spearman correlation test and comparison test of Mann-Whitney and Kruskal- Wallis groups. Results: Participated of the study 247 elderly people, with a mean age of 68.52 (dp = 7,28) years, 154 were white (57,49%), 109 married (44,13%), 109 catholic (61,13%), 137 retired (55,47%) and 133 with education of one to four years (53,85%). Regarding the level of frailty, 41,70% did not present frailty, 21,45% were vulnerable and 36,84% presented frailty at some level. Of the 247 participants, 58,29% lived in regions with high vulnerability. There was a negative correlation between the frailty and vulnerability (r:-0,4936;p:0,4936), quality of life (Whoqol-bref r:-0,50307;p<0,0001; Wholqol-old r:-0,43951;p<0,001) and cognition (r:-0,21690;p:0,0006). There was a statistically significant difference between the frailty and external relationship quantity (p<0,001). Conclusion: It was found that the frailty elderly lived in more vulnerable regions. Knowing the frailty of the elderly in a context of social vulnerability may help in the management and implementation of actions of public welfare services directed to this population segment. Frailty screening should be integrated into both services and research because the evaluation consists of alert for initial risk identification.

The effects of photobiomodulation by low level laser therapy (LLLT) on muscle tissue are well known. However, it is not found in the literature studies about the application of LLLT in the pelvic musculature under experimental disuse. The present thesis focused its analysis on three aspects: point out the anesthetic option which interferes the least in the metabolism of glucose, considering that muscle tissue is one of the main sites involved in glycemic regulation (study I), thus the results from this study could support the development of an non invasive pelvic immobilization model in rats (study II) and evaluate its effectiveness, through the chemo-metabolic response of the involved musculature before the muscular atrophy. Then we sought to evaluate if there is reversal of this muscle conditions (study III) by applying LLLT during and after the pelvic immobilization period. The three studies were performed with 80 male rats divided into different experimental groups. For the statistical evaluation, in study I the data were submitted to the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, followed by the ANOVA and Tukey test. In studies II and III the data were submitted to the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test followed by ANOVA and Tukey's test (a critical level of p <0.05 was stablished). In study we used 32 Wistar rats (n = 4), aged between 3 and 4 months, weighing 250±50g, distributed in eight groups, of which 4 groups were submitted to the glucose tolerance test (GTT) and another 4 submitted to the insulin tolerance test (ITT). We compared four anesthetics: Thiopental sodium (T, 40 mg/kg), Zolazepan (Z, 50 mg/kg), Ketamine-Xylazine (K, 35 mg/kg and 4 mg/kg) and Tribromoethanol (TRI, 250mg/kg). We concluded that Thiopental and Tribromoethanol anesthetics are the safest because they do not interfere in the glycemic control dynamics. In the study II, we distributed 18 rats were in three groups (n = 6): control (C), pelvic immobilization for 7 days (PI) and remobilized for 7 days after 7 days of device use (RP7). We found a difference (p <0.05) between groups: pelvic muscle glycogen reserves were reduced by 68% in the PI group and 50% in the RP7 group. The group PI had a delay of 10% in the glucose decay constant (KITT). Considering the total protein/DNA ratio groups PI and RP7 presented a reduction of 28% and 24% in the gluteus maximus and 32% and 16% in the iliopsoas, respectively. In the evaluation of the serum concentration of interleukin 6, the group PI had an increase of 27.3% and RP7 19.2% compared to the C. Interleukin 10 increased 30.4% and 14.9% in the IP and RP7 groups, respectively. Tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α) presented a discrete but significant increase of 5% only in the PI group compared to group C. Therefore, the experimental model proved to be effective in mimicking the deleterious effects of disuse, and this effects were not recovered after removing the immobilization device. Based on this findings, study III used 30 rats distributed in five groups (n=6), being; Control (C), Pelvic Immobilization (PI), Immobilized 7 days and remobilized for 7 days (IR), Laser during pelvic immobilization (LDPI) and Laser after pelvic immobilization (LAPI). Thus, the LLLT (Ga-Al-As, continuous λ = 830 nm, P = 30 mW, beam area = 0.116cm², T = 14s, fluency of 3,62J/cm², E = 0.42J; power density = 0.26mW/cm²) was applied on 8 points for 7 consecutive days. This study showed that, considering pelvic immobilization in the experimental condition, LLLT can minimize the catabolism by promoting an increase of glycogen reserves in the involved muscles, improving the total protein/DNA ratio, reducing pro-inflamatory activity (IL-6 and TNF- α) and increasing the anti-inflammatory activity (IL-10), especially when the LLLT was applied during the period of immobilization, providing that skeletal muscles maintain better metabolic and structural conditions even under disuse conditions. Finally, this work was successful in elucidating thiopental and tribromoethanol anesthetics as the ones that least interfere with glucose metabolism, so that this favored the development of an experimental model of disuse with marked muscular catabolism, which can be attenuated by means of photobiomodulation (830 nm).

The process in healthcare may not produce desirable outcomes and strategies of risk minimization should be adopted to improve patient and professional safety. A risk management tool commonly used in high reliability industries (eg, aviation, nuclear power plants and petrochemicals) is incident learning, consisting of a systematic process of investigating deviations in the normal behavior of a system to extract information to improve their performance. This dissertation aims to develop an Incident Learning System (ILS), to implement it at a radiotherapy service in a cancer hospital and to analyze the critical success factors to use this tool. A literature review and an action research were carried out to implement the ILS, focusing on the perspective of the professionals involved. The records were analyzed by a multidisciplinary committee of professionals of the radiotherapy service (action research group) through a formal and structured process for investigation and classification (categorization) of the incidents. Based on the incidents analysis, the patient care process and the professionals working conditions were constantly evaluated critically and actions taken to reduce risk were proposed as a way to promote organizational learning. This was done by analyzing each incident individually and also by statistical analysis of the classification data, allowing identify patterns of performance common to the set of incidents. The greatest number of occurrences and detections of incidents occurred in the "Treatment" stage of the radiotherapy process. Major safety barriers, active and latent failures have been identified and improvement actions have been established for these most vulnerable areas. The ILS implementation process was constantly evaluated through participant observation, interviews and questionnaires, in order to improve the learning mechanisms. As a result of these evaluations and the review of the main implementation challenges observed in other publications in the area, a list of guidance issues was proposed to assist in the establishment of an ILS in the routine of a radiotherapy service.

The advancement of human occupation and the evolution of its many activities have put many ecosystems at risk. The loss of native vegetation to agricultural practices has resulted in the fragmentation of habitats, which has serious consequences for biodiversity. Protected areas exist to try to avoid these interferences, but enforcement is not always effective and can avoid impacts. This scenario makes fundamental the analysis of the landscape of protected areas in macro-scale in order to try to predict and to reverse the impacts resulting from the expansion of the anthropic occupation. In view of these considerations, this dissertation aimed to obtain information about the landscape of the State Environmental Protection Area Rio Pandeiros (PSA Pandeiros), through the use of structural indexes of the landscape. The information was inserted and analyzed in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The landscape structure was evaluated through the land use and land cover dynamics of PSA Pandeiros in 1995 and 2015. The evaluation of priority areas for PSA conservation was evaluated through the application of landscape metrics based on the results of the use and coverage evaluation from the land. And the evaluation of the location of ecological corridors for the PSA area was carried out based on the analysis of PSA connectivity potential from the results of the landscape metrics. The results showed that agricultural activities have strong influence structure of the landscape, mainly the pasture. The advancement of agricultural practices has made the landscape of the PSA suffer some degree of fragmentation which if not controlled will have serious consequences for the local biodiversity. The PSA still presents some fragments that have been considered high conservation areas due to their size and shape, are essential areas for actions that encourage the protection of the PSA. The analysis of the location of the ecological corridors showed that the proposed corridors are located in conservation priority areas and, therefore, their consolidation is necessary so that the fragmentation process of the PSA begins to be reversed and that the PSA may in the near future have A more connected landscape to ensure the 26 species of medium and large mammals found in the PSA and all the biodiversity that is interconnected.

This assignment presents a qualitative research inserted in the context of the educational evaluation which focus is on the mathematics evaluation. The main objective was to identify if students’ good performance in mathematics in external evaluations, in some way, is a reflection of the evaluative practices developed by teachers within the classroom. Of ethnographic nature, with field research, the data were constituted at the school, place of the problem of investigation. As subjects of the research, three Mathematics teachers of Elementary School were selected from a state school in the city of Bauru - SP, which had high IDEB (Basic Education Development Index). The data were produced through semi-structured interviews with the teachers, occasional participation of the researcher in pedagogical meetings in the school and field notes archives. From the established data, the analytical aim was to capture aspects related to the evaluation practiced in the school, research scenario; conceptions about educational evaluation revealed by the research participants; and relation between what is evaluated in the classroom and what is evaluated externally. The data analysis was done through the elaboration of categories, which were created from the reading and rereading movement of the transcribed interviews. This movement was guided in the light of the concept of formative evaluation as an integrated process to teaching and learning. From the results, it can be seen that a formative evaluative process embraces much more than the accomplishment of tests and, thus, it can be concluded that, when the teacher evaluates in a perspective with formative tendency, the evaluation process becomes the coauthor of a good performance in external evaluations.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the economic life and daily exchange dynamic of African women living in the city of São Paulo, proposing a discussion of these aspects as meaning production, emancipation, intercultural dialogue and collective actions. The historical overview of migration in the world, in Brazil and São Paulo has always been marked by problems and various challenges. In Brazil, it still rules an authoritarian and restrictive legislation, which does not answer the contemporary demands of migratory phenomena. In São Paulo, a Municipal Politics for Migrant Population has been built by actors from civil society, government and social movements and the migrant community, where they have established new dialogues for these demands. Despite the difficulties and challenges, there are other perspectives and new possibilities that seek a greater dialogue with human rights and citizenship presuppositions. Some of these actions are introduced, as well as an overview of formal and informal institutions and services for the migrant population. São Paulo experiences an important presence of African migration, as well as of African women, especially with some economic activity. This mobility has occurred in several dimensions: study, work, refuge, new opportunities and the African theme assumed in the perspective of this work is a cultural, artistic and intellectual contribution. There is also a growing movement in the city for the appreciation of Afro-Brazilian culture and gender protagonism. When they stay in the city, African women are confronted with this context and seek a dialogue through their gastronomic, cultural, political and esthetics activities. The theoretical contextualization brings reflections of anthropology, ethnography, social occupational therapy, urban anthropology and discussion on economic life. The present work was developed through the ethnographic field research based on observation, interviews and living in everyday situations and work of the interlocutors. The data of the field notebooks resulted in the description of four main narratives and stories of others African women also composed the work, whose women has been a significant presence in the struggle for human rights, gender protagonism and appreciation of artistic contributions to the city. The experiences were presented through an analysis and transversal discussions, permeating reflections with concepts of daily, economic life, activity and culture. The theme of migration has found repercussion in productions in international occupational therapy and in Brazil for years, these are necessary dialogues for the new challenges of the career. The occupational therapist who also dialogues with contemporary issues, with processes of rupture of support networks, and who also proposes new possibilities for life projects, it is one of the professionals called to enter this scenery. One of the main challenges of the work was to produce a reflection on the professional’s role and researcher and their interlocutions between field and research. The reflection on human rights, gender and economic life in migration could built social technologies in occupational therapy to address issues that emerge from social conflicts and from the problems of a society marked by ever-changing inequalities.

    Andando com os Arara

Looking for how to make antropology, I started to construct the text following the pathway, stopping some moments for reflexion about the tracks that were appearing. On the long way to school I found Altamira-PA, and then the Arara from Laranjal, whom I decided to follow, learning with them how to relation on their rhythms and references. Upon the tasks, I saw how to make collectives, joining myself on the relations, I saw leadderships appearing amog the ethics of conduct guided by moralities. Between the new and the old or amid the “good” and the “evil”, the “One” and the multiple seens to be the terms of the relation. Coming back from religious interchanges, now there are Arara that are brother before Christe, problematizing the sociality amid the “good” and the “evil”, between God and the Devil, putting in check the xaman, the leaderships and the xaman system: with which force? Creating the community, beyond the good and the evil, the question is the agency – with the evangelicals missionaries of ALEM, with the evangelicals Waiwai, and with the State. Travelling with the Arara, I have been inserted on the politics and aesthetics relations of this coletive, with whom I walked with, seen about being and the appearance, what involves the “other”. Becoming Ugoro´gmo (we all, us), in the middle of the era of the projects of the Basic Enviromental Plan, in the midst of the evangelicals missionaries, Funai, and the school, they become another? In ugorog´mo way, the question seens to be of the updating, of the restart of sociality, conducted on the generosity ethic, controled by the morality of doing-shame, of exposing the other to the sociality, which contains the Arara subject on a appearance community, that expand on the aldeia space to the ways that are percurssed, which I falled.

(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-02-20) Justino, Jussara Aparecida de Paula; Joly, Ilza Zenker Leme; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5569335876343450; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2961903056004496
This research took place in the Curumim Program at the SESC unit in the city of Araraquara / SP, with children from 7 to 12 years of age, Children whose parents work in the commercial area and in tourism. The program aims at the integral development of the child through cultural, artistic and sports activities that prioritize the playfulness and quality of life. The general objective of the research was to identify possibilities in the development of educational and musical processes with children from the perspective of non - formal education, valuing a dialogical praxis between children and researcher. The research was based on authors of music education, such as Brito (2001, 2003, 2007), Koellreutter (1997), Joly and Severino (2016), who supported the concepts of music education, articulated with other area theorists. . In order to understand and contextualize non-formal education, the contributions came from research on texts by Gohn (2007, 2008), Garcia (2015), Park and Fernandes (2005, 2015), authors who have been studying the systematization of this area of study in Brazil. The research still relied mainly on the thinking of Freire (2014) to understand the exchange between knowledge and dialogical praxis. The methodology had a qualitative approach, with reflections based on some of the concepts of the Phenomenology, based on authors such as Merleau-Ponty (2011, 2013, 2014), Bicudo (2011), Martins e Bicudo ) And Rezende (1990). Data collection was based on Bogdan and Biklen (1994), children's drawings and writings, and photos of some of the musical moments. The research brings contributions to the production of knowledge about the music in education with children. Showing the importance of dialogue as a way to construct an autonomous world, and as a motivating element for the construction of joint propositions between children and educators.

The Joaquim Ferreira do Amaral Industrial School in Jau, since the first years of operation was designed to train the student for the imminent industrialization and urbanization of the city. Considering this aspect, the present study has as general objective to analyze its role as teacher of the student-worker until 1960, justifying the need to rescue the history of this educational institution, understanding it in its particularities and intentionalities. For this, the epistemological paradigm adopted was historical-dialectic, aiming at understanding society in a scientific perspective, in which man creates a relation with the environment in which he is inserted, and is responsible for interfering in him. The sources used were books, journals and scientific articles, completion papers, local and regional newspapers, photographs and reports of students, teachers and employees of the time. Thus, through the research, it was possible to analyze the representativeness of the Industrial School, seeking to unveil what it meant in the developmentalist reality of jauense, that is, analyzing the political and economic context of its creation and the earliest times. Place of implantation was intentional, as it met the national industrial proposals, which resulted in the great acceptance of the establishment throughout the region.

The major process challenge of the second-generation ethanol (2G) production is related with characterization of hydrolyzate from lignocellulosic biomass, which often contains high quantities of phenolic compounds and furan derivatives. These components of hydrolyzate are responsible for inhibit and deactivate enzymes during hydrolysis in addition to negatively influence the fermentation step. The phenolic compounds and furaldehydes quantification could help to highlight the bioprocesses limitations. As a result, it could allow the process improvement that may be characterized by more productive, robust and tolerant to these compounds. Concerning about this objective, rapid, efficient, and low-cost technologies for monitoring the phenolic compounds and furan derivatives are essential for better control of the pretreatment, hydrolysis and fermentation steps during 2G ethanol production. For achieving that goal it was verified the viability of monitoring phenolic compounds and furaldheydes by the use of chemometric techniques. The Ultraviolet Visible and Near Infrared spectral regions were analyzed in association with Partial Least Squares (PLS) regression for monitoring the inhibitors from pretreatment hydrolyzate of sugarcane bagasse. Hydrolyzate samples from liquid hot water pretreatment of biomass plus synthetic samples were evaluated on distinct calibration and test trials. The negative effect in both hydrolysis and fermentation process were considered for monitoring components from hydrolyzate and synthetic mixtures. Then, the concentration of vanillin, hydroxymethylfurfural, furfural, as well as ferulic, gallic and p-coumaric acids were analyzed. It was found that the most accurate PLS model could be used to monitor phenolic compounds and furaldehydes during the liquid hot water pretreatment of lignocellulosic material from three different operating conditions. The best predicting concentrations provided satisfactory accuracy for each analyte by presenting PLS-UV-Vis models with potential for process monitoring (standard deviation of prediction for cross-validation leave-one-out (RMSECV) around 3.0 to 9.0% and residual predictive deviation (RPD) was from 2.0 up to 5.0).

This study aims to identify, describe and understand The development of education of ethnicracial relationships in a teaching practice held in Sociology classes in high school that help in the appreciation of history and culture of Afro-Brazilians and Africans. It is anchored in studies on educational processes unleashed by social practices, education of ethnic-racial relationships and sociology teaching. The research participants are students and the Sociology teacher of a second year high school class of a state public school in the municipality of São Carlos/SP. With the objective of identifying educational processes unleashed in teaching practice in Sociology classes, We opted for a theoretical-methodological stance based on phenomenology. Thus, to collect and analyze the data, conversations, participant observation, coexistence, interviews and conversational wheels with participants of the research. The data collected were organized in the following categories of analysis: relations, educational processes - teaching strategies, educational processes - to think sociologically, valuation of ethnic-racial belonging, reflection on practice and intervention - research as a social practice. The analysis of the data provides us with indications and references that Sociology teaching makes it possible to rethink ethnic-racial, social, pedagogical relations that aim to ensure student appreciation and strengthen their strengthen ethnic-racial belonging. Possibilities of developing the education of ethnic-racial relationships in the teaching of Sociology. Research has contributed to the strengthening of education of ethnic-racial relationships as students become more attentive, curious and critical about ethnic-racial inequalities and have developed skills to overcome distorted visions. The research also allowed to generate subsidies for the teaching of Sociology in basic education in the sense of developing classes based on the epistemological principles: “estrangement” e “Denaturalization”.
