listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Modelo de gestão do conhecimento para organizações de educação profissional e tecnológica: a comunidade de prática na implementação de um repositório digital institucional(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-12) Santos, Cintia Almeida da Silva; Hoffmann, Wanda Aparecida Machado; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7609135667093837; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2599706906177671The research aimed to create a Scientific and Technological Knowledge Management Model for organizations of Profession and Technological Education, departing from the implementation of the institutional repository Dspace in São Paulo Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology (IFSP). Methodology comprehended an exploratory-descriptive case study composed of four methods: 1) Literary review on knowledge management (KM) in organizations of professional and technological education; 2) Empiric research with the use of a data collection technique - questionnaire; 3) Creation of the proposed model; 4) Implementation of the institutional repository. The results are presented accordingly to the objectives of the study: 1) comprehension of the state of the knowledge management art in the professional and technological education context; 2) elaboration of a knowledge management model for organizations of professional and technological education. For the model composition it was used the community of practice technique, which presented itself opportune; 3) Implementation in initial stage of Dspace in São Paulo Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology; 4) structuration of storage and use of information policies in the institutional repository for the tool implementation. For considerations, the study points out that: a) the proposed model can offer a parameter for congener organizations; b) the proposed model, yet conceptual, will be able to be susceptible to replication; c) the inclusion of the administrative documentation in the institutional repository presents itself as relevant element in the organizational process; d) The institutional repository will be able to act as management tool in institutional decision-making; e) it is suggested greater exploration of the use of the community of practice technique in the academic-scientific context. We conclude that the proposed conceptual model presents the possibilities of implantation of the KM in IFSP and the applied questionnaires made possible to understand the panorama in KM of IFSP. We highlight the importance of the community of practice for the socialization and externalization of the organizational knowledge.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, UIFlex - uma ferramenta para a criação de um perfil de interação para a web adaptativa(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-12) Proença, Mailson de Queiroz; Neris, Vânia Paula de Almeida; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0268728255033469; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2970217867881022To address the diversity of users and the different interaction requirements, the user interfaces could be more flexible, being adapted according to each user profile. Currently, some web interfaces are already flexible, but this flexibility is usually made from explicitly made adjustments by the user in each website. The flexibility achieved by the interfaces of the current websites is not enough when the diversity of users and different interaction needs are considered. In addition, to adapt a web system, currently the user has to configure each system individually and not all users are aware of the different possibilities of presentation and configuration of the websites. Since the interfaces must be flexible to meet the different needs and diversity of users, this work aims to provide users with the possibility to adapt the websites according to their needs and preferences. To achieve this goal, an approach was formalized where the user defines his interaction profile, based on rules, guidelines and good design recommendations, and later this interaction profile is used to adapt the interfaces. In addition, the UIFlex tool was developed, where the user defines their interaction profile and, from this profile, the tool flexibilizes the interfaces of the websites that users navigate according to the interaction profile defined by the user. Finally, two evaluations were carried out in different scenarios: one face-to-face and the other online. These evaluations were carried out with the purpose of verifying the viability of the UIFlex tool and whether it meets the diversity of users. In both scenarios, users accessed certain websites with and without the UIFlex tool and subsequently answered questionnaires related to user satisfaction, website behavior and interaction efficiency. The results of the questionnaires answered indicated that the UIFlex tool brings benefits during the interaction of the users with the websites, mainly related to the efficiency, due to the adaptation made in the websites by the tool, without the need to configure each website individually. With the studies carried out and with the analysis of the answers of the questionnaires it is concluded that the UIFlex tool contributed positively to the users adapting the interfaces of the websites according to their preferences and/or needs.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Fabricação e caracterização de espuma de gesso para aplicações térmicas e acústicas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-12) Arroyo, Felipe Nascimento; Salvini, Vânia Regina; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7793023364992813; Christoforo, André Luis; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7623383075429186; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7212979133617183Due to existence in abundance in Brazil, low energy consumption, less fuel quantity in its production process, not being flammable and recycling possibility, gypsum is extremely viable in civil construction. Among its applications, it is used as acoustic and thermal insulation due to the natural porosity of this material. One way to improve these applications is by adding pores. However, with pores addition in this material, its mechanical resistance decays significantly, necessitating the addition of micro silica. In this way, the study of gypsum foams for acoustic and thermal insulation together with micro silica percentages, to increase mechanical resistance, are presented as important and original from a technical and scientific point of view. The present study covered two important steps: preliminary experimental planning and definitive experimental planning. The preliminary experimental planning was important to define the base additive percentages, as well as the best water/gypsum ratio to be used and the ideal cure time. In the definitive experimental planning, the micro silica percentages were varied and statistical analysis (regression models) was performed, thus defining the best percentage of micro silica in order to reach the best result of each property. The gypsum foams results were satisfactory, reaching 87.88% porosity and excellent acoustic and thermal absorption. The micro silica also showed its effectiveness, improving 200% the uniaxial compression resistance and maintaining the effectiveness in acoustic absorption and thermal conductivity. The regression models used had representativity, in other words, with micro silica percentage, it was possible to estimate gypsum foam properties, allowing to extrapolate micro silica percentage to values not used in this research.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A extensão popular em educação ambiental e seus processos educativos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-12) Souza, Tiago Zanquêta de; Oliveira, Maria Waldenez de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3404769527869004; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2263664575012618This research has as social practice the Popular Extension in Environmental Education, developed by an extension group formed by seven people, six students of the Environmental Engineering course, University of Uberaba and the researcher, professor of the same course. The bibliographic review reveals the existence of a close relationship between critical environmental education, popular extension and popular education, since its fundamental bases are structured in the protagonism of the subjects, in the conquest of their autonomy, freedom and emancipation, besides recognizing that the process of domination, oppression and colonization of knowledge, which is triggered by social / environmental injustice. The theoretical reference of the research is linked to that of Popular Education, Popular Extension and Environmental Education, specifically Critical Environmental Education. It has as general objective to know the educational processes that propitiate the formation of environmental engineers as environmental educators, based on the social practice previously mentioned. We opted for the qualitative research modality, which is understood as an investigation that has as central concern the examination of the data in depth, taking into account the historical and / or social perspective of the moment in which the analysis is performed. We also understand that this research is descriptive, because it exposes the characteristics of a certain population or a certain phenomenon, and it is worth, as far as the means to obtain data, of field research and bibliographical research. The observations were recorded in field diaries. To analyze the data, we are using the content analysis, in which, in the pre-analysis, the analyzed documents were the field diaries, without losing sight of the problem question and the research objectives. The transformation of the data into units of registers occurred from the interpretive convergence of the paragraphs of the field diaries. Starting from the convergence between these units, the initial, intermediate and final categories were elaborated, the latter being object of analysis and final interpretation in the thesis, which is structured as follows: Initially, in the introduction, I present my life trajectory and in it I include my academic trajectory, arriving at the doctoral research, to, from the bibliographical review, present the problematic, the problem question and the objectives of this research. The research was carried out together with a group of environmental engineering students from Uberaba University, in the city of Uberaba, who are popular extension with a group of residents of Vila Esperança II and Jardim Itália, a working community. The first chapter brings the methodological approach of the research. The second chapter presents a discussion about education and culture, education as culture and education in the context of social practices, which has popular education as a way of possibilities for overcoming existing relations of oppression. The third chapter presents a historical-critical review about the context of the Brazilian university, from its origin to the present day, looking more especially for the practice of university extension. In addition, it takes popular extension as a social practice, in order that through this look, understand it as a source of production of conversational knowledge. The fourth chapter presents a discussion about the critical concept of what we mean by sustainable development, going through an analysis of the environmental dimension of education, and then discussing Brazilian environmental education, based on the study of macro trends in the country, with emphasis on macro-education Critical Environmental Education and one of its four currents, Popular Environmental Education. The fifth and final chapter presents the analyzes and results of the research, especially around the educational processes that permeated the training of extension students in the work community.
