listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Impactos da discrepância entre o trabalho prescrito e real dos fiscais de contrato em universidades públicas federais(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-13) Matias, Érika Pena Bedin; Fontes, Andréa Regina Martins; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4848646681792317; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4366016311242047This dissertation discusses the contract inspection service of federal public universities established in the state of São Paulo. Contract inspectors have the responsibility of ensuring compliance with administrative contracts concluded between outsourced companies and universities, through monitoring and inspection. In this context, the purpose of this study is to identify the impacts that the discrepancy between the prescribed and actual work causes to the contract inspectors. To do so, a qualitative research was used, based on a multicaso study delineated by the Activity Ergonomics, in which interviews were applied to fourteen employees from three universities. The results indicate the specificities and the difficulties of the work, investigating the discrepancies between the prescribed and actual work, as well as the impacts that are related to the physical environment, intellectual challenges imposed by the work, control of the emotions, pressures for compliance in the deadlines and administration of conflicts. It was possible to raise and analyze the risks of illness, as well as the strategies adopted to combat illness. However, as they occur individually, they do not lead to a change in the organization of work. With the help of the validation of the results it was possible to make some notes for improvements. In addition, the research points out possibilities to promote restructurings in the current organizational system in order to value human and behavioral development as a perspective in the creation, implantation and dissemination of organizational practices that reconcile productivity and the revitalization of the one who produces, increasing commitment and organizational links.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Intermediando o risco: novos formatos institucionais na difusão das ferramentas da indústria de capital de risco nos bancos públicos do Brasil(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-13) Cavenaghi, Felipe; Donadone, Julio César; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7643906508178259; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4880147392951803The project chased the characterization of the new institutional formats in the diffusion of the logic of venture capital in the public banks of Brazil, as public banks are adopting tools linked to the venture capital industry with the justification of gaining greater financial flexibility, otherwise the agents would use these structures legitimized in the financial market with the purpose of seeking greater innovation leveraging the development of the economy. The collection of data was done through financial reports as well as normative reports. In the analysis the adopted structures and the interactions with the other agents of the financial space were identified with the proposal of an analysis framework taking into account the economic sociology and the theory of the organizations.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Açúcar mascavo adicionado de açúcar bruto de alta polarização (Very High Polarization- VHP): uma avaliação tecnológica visando o desenvolvimento rural da agroindústria familiar(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-13) Andrade, Lucas de Almeida; Borges, Maria Teresa Mendes Ribeiro; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1800048119205212; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6767810395816403In Brazil, brown sugar has only the value of polarization as a quality standard required by its own legislation, however, this value (90% polarization) does not represent the reality of the products found in the market. In addition, procedures such as the addition of high polarization (VHP) raw sugar have become frequent since this action can alter the final quality of the product and its processing. It is essential to develop new quality standards to be required for brown sugar, therefore, the quality of brown sugar produced without and with addition of VHP, both without and with pH correction, was evaluated in order to provide subsidies The results obtained show that there was no interaction between the raw material (cane juice with different contents of initial soluble solids) and the process used (addition of VHP with and without pH correction) for the variables used, except for the humidity variable, where the process of addition of VHP sugar accompanied by pH correction was able to influence and modify the raw material, resulting in a product with lower moisture content. Even though there is no such interaction, it should be noted that a new legislation should be drafted on the quality characteristics that brown sugar must have, thus creating a quality and identity standard that can benefit family producers.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O Plano de Ações Articuladas (PAR) na visão da gestão de redes de ensino paulista(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-13) Abram, Larissa Moitinho; Silva, Flávio Caetano da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7889803676083470; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8586395864460598This dissertation aims to research one of the educational financing public policies, the Articulated Actions Plan – AAP, which consists in a planning tool for municipal and state education secretariats that, when joining to this plan, the Secretary of Education in charge for it develops, together with directors, coordinators, teachers and members of the community the diagnosis, objectives and actions to the education network within its competence. From the object of study, we aim to understand the perception of the educational managers involved in the elaboration and implementation of the AAP in relation to their participation and autonomy. Our considerations about our analysis subject became possible insofar as we established contact with the municipal education agents involved in the plan, and due to the questions, that surrounded us throughout the process, such as public policies for financing education are they means to democratic practice? What is the participation of the managers in the elaboration and implementation of the AAP? There being clear the positivities resulting from the plan and the old practices maintained by the AAP, we formalized some specific objectives, as to verify, at the municipal level, what has changed, what advances were noticed and what is missing to make this public policy a way of relating, more horizontally with other governmental instances. To answer some of the previously elaborated questions some theoretical concepts that are considered essentials to the composition of this dissertation were listed, such as democratic management, autonomy, educational management and public financing policy. As a methodology, we contemplated for the research performed the analysis of French discourse in the writings of Michel Foucault as the main source to understand what was stated by the municipal managers of education during the recorded interviews, adding to them discussions pertinent to elements pertaining to the management, relations between municipal and federal entities, among others. Regarding to the empirical part, three municipalities of São Paulo were selected to participate in the Continuing Education Course of Municipal Councilors of the Municipal Council of Education offered by the agreement MEC-UFSCar and enabled through the Basic Education Secretariat (BES). The people who were interviewed were selected because of their familiarity with the AAP or those who were present in the elaboration of the plan at the moment of its implementation in the municipality. From the collected interviews, we observed that the discourses concerning the participation and the autonomy of the representatives in the implementation in the RAP did little advance, since it was observed the reinforcement in the position of executors to the detriment of the autonomy and the division of powers, thus making it impossible experiences that could enable subjects to make changes in the perceptions of these concepts.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Intelectuais orgânicos no desenvolvimento territorial solidário e contra-hegemônico: o caso do banco Palmas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-13) Carvalho, Hilano José Rocha de; Shimbo, Ioshiaqui; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6315114291031702; Zanin, Maria; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9685965969782429; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1154588453321097The capitalist social formation imposes to all the relations among the people the domination of the economic and material dimension. Freedom in the democratic social forms in which capitalist social relations reign does not go beyond the right to intensify the processes of production and consumption by a dominant minority. From this, it results a permanent confrontation of ideological forms and between opposing social groups: on the one hand, those who act to maintain intact hierarchical relations and the exploitation of work; on the other hand, those who construct a new kind of plural, solidary and emancipated society. In this scenario, Solidarity Economy emerges as the economic, social, cultural and alternative political base, identified with initiatives based on solidarity, cooperation and self-management. From the solidary economic initiatives, in solidarity finance, the Community Development Banks (CDBs) spread through Brazilian territories from local development. The work of the CDBs goes far beyond the generation of work and income, as it promotes qualitative social changes of a cultural and political character in the territories in which they arise. The objective of this work was to identify the necessary, sufficient and favorable conditions, the difficulties and the limits for the long-term development of the BCDs, in the promotion of the territorial development of solidarity and counter-hegemonic. For this, as an empirical object, the pioneering experience Banco Palmas (located in Palmeiras, Fortaleza-CE, Brazil) was defined as the unique and decisive case. Two theoretical-conceptual and methodological perspectives were taken as basilar, resulting in the formulation of corresponding hypotheses: a) from the conceptual framework of Gramscian political theory, Banco Palmas was analyzed in the relations between internal and external social actors and between social forces and policies in the face of the processes of hegemony and domination; b) from the controversies between social management and strategic management and the conceptual debate of strategy in the context of the Solidarity Economy, the Palmas Bank, the strategic management and planning forms in Solidarity Economy and its effects on the development of the Palmeiras territory were analyzed. The hypotheses were formulated from a method of articulation between evidences, theoretical-conceptual referential and hypotheses, which also guided the collection and analysis of data. The data collection was done by bibliographical research of publications of previous studies and documentary research. For the analysis of the data, the technique of adaptation to the standard and the analysis of time series (in the case of social and financial-economic indicators) were used. As a result, Banco Palmas' strategic management and planning actions are approaching communicative and non-strategic-instrumental social actions, such as social technologies, insofar as they involve the Palmeiras community in interaction and dialogue with various social actors. These actions are coordinated by the organic intellectuals present at Banco Palmas, counting on the solidarity, support and alliance with organic intellectuals of higher social strata with civil society and the State, being the necessary and essential conditions for the long-term development of the Banco Palmas. With this work, it is hoped to contribute to the emergence of a Solidarity Economy praxis centered on a territorial development that is solidary and counter-hegemonic, as it was found, even if embryonically, in the case of Banco Palmas.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Ministério Público Federal, cidadania, justiça e planejamento estratégico(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-13) Rodrigues, Marcos de Souza; Justo, Carolina Raquel Duarte de Mello; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9209489935777843; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2939485669592221This dissertation sheds light majorly on the social action of the Brazilian Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office in the enlargement of access to justice and promotion of citizenship and, secondly, by the model of public administration adopted to strengthen the Institution. Its purpose is to analyze the recent political and judicial action of the Institution. It aims to verify if the strategy of approach to the mainstream media, which occurred in conjunction with recent cases of corruption, tends to promote broader access to justice and citizenship, objectives created by the 1988 Brazilian Constitution and highlighted in the 2011 Strategic Planning. It analyzes the Institution's growing exposure in the media and the quantitative of the social activity between 2006 and 2016 represented in this study by: Public Civil Actions, Recommendations, Terms of Conduct Adjustment, Public Hearings, Civil Inquiries and additionally, quantitative reports of citizen’s complaints about social rights and criminal judicial actions and prosecutions internal procedures. Quantitative data collected on the transparency website were submitted to graphic analysis that could indicate trends in the institution's social activity and possible correlation with the institution's approach to the media. The results indicate a tendency of growth in the institutional activities of the social area as a whole in possible correlation with the increase of the approach of the institution with the Media. These results suggest an increase in access to justice and promotion of citizenship in the analyzed period, indicating, in the alternative, that of using Strategic Planning to develop social performance seems correct choice toward strengthen the institution. The certification of this trend and of cause and effect relationships requires further studies.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A construção do conhecimento em química – no ensino médio – segundo a abordagem Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade (CTS)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-13) Stange, Simone Moraes; Hayashi, Carlos Roberto Massao; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9136586124586219; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2115193694786833This thesis had as main objective to develop a methodology of teaching, as instrument for the construction of the knowledge in chemistry, in the secondary education, according to the approach Science, Technology and Society (CTS), in the surroundings of the CTS Education, having as perspective the analysis of the news from A Voz do Brasil - online radio program, through the study of the occurrences and applications of organic chemistry, involving 40 students of the 3rd grade of the "Barão de Antonina" Basic Education School in the city of Mafra, Santa Catarina state. The research was qualitative of an interpretative nature on documents of a sonorous and descriptive nature (online radio program), using the Participant Observation method - in a continuous process, centralized in the field journal annotations and written productions of the students. with Cervo and Bervian (2002), qualitative research - observes, records, analyzes and relates facts or phenomena - without, however, manipulating them, trying to find out precisely how often a phenomenon occurs. Thus, the students organized themselves into teams, which were directed to access the sound and descriptive records of the online radio program A Voz do Brasil and, based on the analysis of the news, created categories of content analysis and elaborated conceptual maps. This work demonstrates the students 'perceptions of the students' perceptions of the chemistry discipline in the organic chemistry segments, making it meaningful, allowing the student to be connected to the extraclass realities experienced in the daily life and providing them with participation effective in the teaching-learning process. The participants became active agents, which contributed to the acquisition of concepts and from this, the study went from mere moments watertight to knowledge for life. Thus contributing to the formation of a conscious society, whose form of study has provided the student with progressive, effective and enjoyable knowledge. Therefore, the constant search of the committed educator led to the improvement of teaching practices for the teaching of chemistry, being possible to enhance that the CTS approach in the context of CTS Education, enables contributions to solve the daily challenges that permeate the trajectory of the 21st century.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Métodos de preparo dos músculos do assoalho pélvico para o parto(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-13) Alves, Priscila Godoy Januário Martins; Driusso, Patricia; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8898319491890063; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6292136102412500Perineal trauma due to vaginal delivery is a risk factor for the development of pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD). Prenatal methods for preparing the pelvic floor muscles (PFM) for labor such as perineal massage, vaginal dilator Epi-No® and pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) have been used as preventive measures for perineal trauma. In this way, two studies were developed. The first study aimed to elaborate an intervention protocol to compare the effects of the three preparation methods of the PFM in the prevention of perineal trauma, and the second study compared the effects of perineal massage, vaginal dilator Epi-No® and PFMT on the perineal integrity of primiparous women. Sixty-three single fetus primigravidae were included with age over 18 years and who wished to have a normal delivery. The evaluation of sociodemographic characteristics, obstetric data and function of the PFM by the PERFECT method was performed. After, participants were randomized into perineal massage group (PMG, n = 21), vaginal dilator group (VDG, n = 21) and PFMT group (PFMTG, n = 21). The techniques were practiced from 34 gestational weeks until delivery. After delivery, the perineal outcomes were assessed and it included the perineal integrity and the characteristics of perineal lacerations (type, location, shape and degree of perineal laceration), as well as the presence of suture and perineal pain. Labor and neonatal data were also collected. A reassessment of PFM function was performed between 45 and 60 days postpartum. The satisfaction with the use of the technique was verified by a structured questionnaire and the number of days of practice of the proposed technique and the degree of discomfort evoked by it was verified through an intervention diary. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the presence of perineal lacerations in the three groups. The PFMTG presented a significant presence of 2nd degree lacerations and episiotomy. The PMG presented higher values of the variables E, R and F after delivery. PMG considered that the technique was not easy to perform while the PFMTG presented less pain and discomfort complaints during the practice of the method. The VDG was the group which considered the technique practiced most unpleasant while the PFMTG considered that the technique helped to relax during delivery. It was concluded that PMG and VDG demonstrate similar effects in relation to perineal integrity and were superior to PFMTG. The post-partum PFM function verified by the P variable was similar between the groups, whereas the PMG presented better muscle condition in the E, R and F variables and the PFMTG presented a better degree of satisfaction in performing the technique, being less annoying to practice it.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Intencionalidade, consciência e caridade nas obras éticas de Pedro Abelardo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2017-12-13) Silva, Pedro Rodolfo Fernandes da; Oliveira, Carlos Eduardo de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6475768126134000; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3181260521011038Analyzing the ethical works of Peter Abelard, i.e., Ethica or Scito te Ipsum and Collationes or Dialogus inter Philosophum, Iudaeum et Christianum, it can be said that the Palatine contemplates both the general (theoretical) and particular Ethical orders: his ethical thinking implies a complete analysis in a systematical order. It can be also said that Abelard relied heavily both on the thinkers of the Greek-Roman philosophical tradition, including Aristotle and the Stoics, and on the thinkers of the Christian tradition, among whom Augustine. Departing from this conjunction, Abelard adopts the stoic thesis of the moral indifference of acts to affirm that agent’s intention (intentio) is the only criterion for moral determination. Beyond that, he adopts as the best habit of the soul the Aristotelian notion of virtue, only reached by a great effort and constancy of action. Notwithstanding, this notion seems to contradict moral indifference of acts: despite how great or constant might be the effort to act in a way, this act itself will never be moral per se. This shows how problematic can be the assimilation of traditions assumed by Abelard: stablishing “charity”, source of all virtues, as the fundamental law for moral experience, Abelard interiorizes morality in the individual conscience or mind. In such way, the Aristotelian notion of virtue has nothing but an authoritative value in Abelard’s argument, while charity becomes the good intention that, through the judgment of reason, estimates the divine will and decides to follow it. Therefore, while Stoic moral interiorization presupposes an Ethic in which the virtue’s meaning and purpose is outside the virtue itself, Abelard internalizes moral life in an individual consciousness, in which charity has its purpose and meaning according to its inner decision about following God's will. In such way, charity as good intention and moral criterion contrasts then current penitential practices, whose objectivity of action was the main basis for both the determination of what’s moral or guilty and the imputations of punishment.
