Item type:Item, Deep learning para classificação hierárquica de elementos transponíveis(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-05) ;Nakano, Felipe Kenji ;Cerri, Ricardo ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/6266519868438512https://lattes.cnpq.br/6192556929748278Transposable Elements (TEs) are DNA sequences that can change its location within a cell's genome. They contribute directly to the genetic variety of species. Besides, their transposition mechanisms can affect the functionality of genes. The correct identification and classification of TEs play a central role in comprehension of genomes. Generally, identification and classification of TEs are performed using tools that employs homology, by comparing a sequence to many sequences from a labeled TE database. Since the literature proposes hierarchical taxonomies to classify TEs according to classes and subclasses, this project aims to develop new classification methods employing Machine Learning (AM) and Artificial Neural Networks (RNA) trained using Deep Learning (DP) concepts. Deep Neural Networks have extend the state-of-art of many field of study, including bioinformatics. As the first step, DNA sequences labelled with previously identified TEs will be collected and mapped according to hierarchies provided by the literature. Next, Deep Learning's neural networks Restricted Booltzman Machine, Auto-encoders, MultiLayer Perceptrons and their stacked version were tested. With these datasets, different classification methods are proposed and compared with literature's methods. As contributions, two new strategies were proposed, nLLCPN (non-Leaf Local Classifier per Parent Node) and LCPNB (Classifier per Parent Node and Branch). Both of then adapt LCPN (Local Classifier per Parent Node) in order to allow classifications in inner nodes. Additionally, the deep neural networks presented superior or competitive results in most of the cases.Item type:Item, Descoberta de preços e especulação no mercado de milho brasileiro(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-06) ;Raniro, Luisa Rasera ;Cruz Júnior, José César ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/0086426315229286https://lattes.cnpq.br/9231847375086915University of São Carlos, Sorocaba, 2018. Since the 2000s, several changes occurred in the Brazilian and international corn markets. In Brazil, due primarily to the increasing importance of the winter crop, the central-west region became the main corn producer in the country, overcoming the South, the main summer crop producer. On the international market, the increase in demand for the commodity - mainly in the Chinese and U.S. markets - also changed the behavior of prices worldwide. Based on all the aforementioned changes, we analyzed prices relationships in the corn spot and futures markets in the south and central-west regions of Brazil, between 2004 and 2016. We used various price discovery measures to find that Brazilian corn futures market leads the price information in the country. Our analysis for the spot market indicates that the South, represented by the production region of Cascavel, shows the highest share of price information, and therefore can be considered the primary reference in the price discovery process. However, we found that this result was not consistent, as the region of Rio Verde in the Center-West was the benchmark in the price discovery process during the period when summer crop production was higher than winter crop production (prior to 2011). We analyzed short-term price relationships using the Generalized Supremum Augmented Dickey-Fuller (GSADF) test to identify periods of speculative bubbles. Our results indicated the occurrence of several explosive episodes in all markets. In most cases such episodes were short-lived (lasting less than seven days), with differing characteristics, and had periods of both positive and negative bubbles. In addition, we identified periods when bubbles occurred simultaneously in all markets. This result indicates that there may also be a relationship between regional price volatilities. We expect that our results can be useful for those looking for references in price formation, and for improving commodity trading strategies in the cash market. In addition, once a bubble period is identified, traders can possibly use our results to build their expectations regarding the duration of bubbles and the average price variation (increase and decrease) within a bubble period.Item type:Item, Plataforma Khan Academy: uma análise de suas potencialidades na visão de professores do Ensino Fundamental I de um município do interior de São Paulo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-06) ;Duarte, Priscila Vandrea Camargo ;Onofre, Márcia Regina ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/7176529351192598https://lattes.cnpq.br/2774473522034136This research aimed the analysis of the potential use of the Khan Academy platform in the perspective of Elementary School I teachers from the education system in the inner state of São Paulo. The relevance of this research moves towards the unveiling of the universe of studies and researches concerning the challenges and perspectives of blended teaching, as well as to investigate the contribution of integrated experiences and active methodologies as tools and alternative ways to improve teachers’ actions and, consequently, the students learning process. This qualitative research was conducted by online questionnaires containing open and closed questions to (25) twenty-five Elementary school teachers of the municipal education system which has been investigated through sampling, and (1) one professional responsible for the platform deployment in the city, identifying the knowledge concerning the set of themes, its resources and strategies, possibilities of application, the tool limits and ranges as well as the achieved results. The presented data show an identity profile of teachers aged 26 to 45; married in their majority, and with a degree, being a total of (13) thirteen experts and (1) one with a professional Master’s Degree. They are teachers with over 8 years of experience in teaching, with a weekly schedule from 35 to 40 working hours, working during the first years of Elementary School with 3rd and 5tg grades. Regarding the answers related to teachers’ experience with the Khan Academy platform, data revealed that most teachers had from 6 (six) months to 2 (two) years or more using the tool; they were responsible for preparing classes on the platform; they dedicated from 1 to 3 working hours with students; also had an awareness of active methodologies and used different methods in classes because they believed the tool contributed to students learning process; integrated technologies were applied to the syllabus and allowed students to interact with different tools developing learning; cooperation during group activities and the interest in learning by gamification; they highlight that, while using blended teaching, it is necessary to rethink the organization of the classroom and the pedagogical plan elaboration making learning closer to the students’ reality. Although the platform represents an important tool before the current demands of technology and learning in face of a new social model, effective actions to its improvement are necessary and, consequently, the participation of teachers in the process of these activities; construction in the formative processes; and in the mediation with students. This is a collective action which must start from the students' needs, reflect on them to search alternative ways which guarantee a meaningful learning for all.Item type:Item, Estudo da eletro-oxidação de moléculas orgânicas pequenas sobre multicamadas metálicas Ptpc/Rh/Pt e Ptpc/Ru/Pt utilizando FTIR in situ(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-06) ;Silva, Camila Daiane Ferreira da ;Souza, Ernesto Chaves Pereira de ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/1505400360366643https://lattes.cnpq.br/8646821920462899The modification of platinum-based electrodes for the efficiency optimization of the fuel cells has generated a great scientific interest, due to the problems associated with the poisoning of the catalytic surface. In addition, the use of renewable fuels is an important advantage for these systems by associating the high performance of the electric motors with the low emission of pollutants. In this way, the scientific community has studied numerous materials such as alloys and multilayer metallic structures (MM), and fuels as small organic molecules. In this work, Ptpc/M/Pt metallic multilayers were developed, in which rhodium or ruthenium was used as an intermediate layer, and their catalytic activities were investigated for the methanol and ethanol electro-oxidation in acid medium. For this purpose, cyclic voltammetry (VC) and in situ infrared spectroscopy (in situ FTIR) were used. In addition, the behavior and catalytic activity of MM Ptpc/Rh/Pt for the methanol electro-oxidation in alkaline medium using VC was evaluated. In acid medium, the compositions Ptpc/Rh2,0/Pt1,0 and Ptpc/Ru5,0/Pt2,0 presented increases of 283% and 422%, respectively, in the peak current density compared to Ptpc for the methanol oxidation and 32% and 67%, respectively, for the ethanol electro-oxidation. Using FTIR in situ, the appearance of a band at ~ 2340 cm-1, attributed to CO2, which is the total oxidation product of the alcohols, was observed. In alkaline medium, Ptpc/Rh2,0/Pt1,0 had an increase in the current density of 70% compared to Ptpc. Therefore, the addition of rhodium and ruthenium as intermediate layers promoted an improvement in the catalytic activity compared to Ptpc, probably by altering the electronic configuration of the platinum or improving the bifunctional effect.Item type:Item, Fotobiorreator de iluminação interna para produção de biomassa algal e seus metabólitos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-08) ;Saadi, Farid Nazih ;Artur Neto, Placeres ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/5881687804279355 ;Lombardi, Ana Teresahttps://lattes.cnpq.br/6737850858443813Microalgae are organisms with potential applications in the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industries due to their ability to produce high added value biomolecules such as fatty acids and volatile compounds. For their physiological development, the algae depend on the availability of carbon dioxide, nutrients and sufficient light for the photosynthetic process to occur. As there is an increase in cell concentration the internal lighting of the algal cultures can be impaired by self-shading. The deficiency in the light supply to the cells can cause a decrease in the physiological yield, affecting the growth and synthesis of the biomolecules. The aim of this study was to develop a new cylindrical photobioreactor with internal LED illumination intermediated by a light intensity controller in order to improve the light availability in all phases and densities of the culture. This would lead to high production of algal biomass and its metabolites that can be used by the various sectors of industry. The system we developed has maximum light incidence of 2775.3 W m-3 and an illuminated area of 0.0314 m2. Defining the BG11 culture medium as the standard for this study, increasing concentrations of this medium (1x, 2x and 10x BG11) were tested in Chlorella sorokiniana cultures. Cellular health was monitored with measures of photosynthetic yield (Phyto-PAM) and the results showed yield of ~ 0.69 in all treatments. This can be considered a confirmation that the physico-chemical conditions provided by the photobioreactor were sufficient to meet the microalgae needs. The cell concentration reported as dry biomass showed that the 1x and 2x BG11 culture media rendered similar biomass, but the 10x BG11 resulted in higher biomass 6.87 g L-1 even though similar cell density (cells per mL) were obtained in comparison with BG1x and 2x. This lead to the interpretation that BG11 10x produced 200% heavier cells than the other treatments and a productivity of 0.36 g L-1 day-1. The system was tested for the growth of Curvastrum pantanale and a picoplankton species, and the results confirmed the versatility of the photobioreactor proposed for the cultivation of other species.Item type:Item, Currículo e integração curricular em um curso de graduação em medicina: concepções manifestadas pelos docentes que o vivenciam(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-10) ;Rodrigues, Aline de Fatima Cruz ;Lima, Emília Freitas de ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/5515637339275988https://lattes.cnpq.br/2273183179891834The present research aims to describe and analyze the relationship between the proposal of integrated curriculum of the undergraduate course in Medicine, Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and the conceptions manifested by its teachers on curriculum and curricular integration. For this, the study of the Pedagogical Project of this course was carried out, with emphasis on its reference framework and its structural framework. The research was carried out by means of interviews with 11 teachers who work in the course, being chosen based on predetermined criteria. These criteria took into account the duration of the course and the activity / cycle in which they acted in the course and were determined based on the hypotheses that: a) the teachers who acted in the course from the beginning would have conceptions more coherent with what is proposed in the PPC than the newcomers; b) there would be a difference between the conceptions of teachers who work in the different educational cycles of the course. After the interviews, the data were transcribed literally and then organized, tabulated and analyzed in the light of the theoretical framework used. It was possible, through this research, to analyze the type of curricular integration proposed in the mentioned pedagogical project of course and to describe the conceptions of curriculum and curricular integration manifested by its teachers. As results, we find conceptions of curricular integration that approximate what is foreseen in the PPC of the course, but according to the participants of the research, this integration is not effective as is foreseen in the PPC. It was also possible to verify that all the interviewees participated in training activities when they entered the course, and that most of the teachers interviewed conceive the curriculum only in its formal dimension, that is, as an official document. It was also possible to verify that the participants of the research did not oppose what is included in the Pedagogical Project of the course, but affirm that this project needs to be revisited and reformulated based on its more than ten years of operation, stating what has been successful and adapting what is not in accordance with the provisions of the PPC. Finally, the hypotheses presented were not confirmed, since all 11 teachers interviewed presented conceptions of curricular integration very close to what is presented in the PPC of the course, regardless of the activity / cycle in which they work and the year of admission as a teacher.Item type:Item, O humor na música do cinema silencioso: uma análise das representações musicais destinadas ao acompanhamento de situações cômicas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-10) ;Martins, Emerson ;Miranda, Suzana Reck ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/8566012598222563https://lattes.cnpq.br/6246423044323843This research aims to comprehend the humor configuration in silent film musics in a very specific way: in the musical representations used in pieces and/or themes that intended to keep up with comic situations of movies which were published in New York in the 1910’s. In other words, it analyzes how some compilations and indications of musical accompaniment suggested humorus and laughter, bringing up the recurring patterns and the possible origins of these sonorous artifices. The selected sheet musics were studied in details from a multidisciplinary perspective in order to understand more the composition strategies than the formal elements proper, once that the improvisation was frequent during this time. Thereby, it was possible to list the common and recurrent elements, as well as the main strategies used by each composer, in view to elaborate a kind of mapping of the cliches and standardization disseminated by this musical practice.Item type:Item, Formação continuada em Matemática para o pedagogo atuante no interior do Estado de São Paulo: sentidos explicitados por professores da Educação Infantil(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-10) ;Alves, Alessandra de Fátima ;Sousa, Maria do Carmo de ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/6637658562543505https://lattes.cnpq.br/0763781488302528The purpose of this research is to understand and analyze the meanings explained in relation to the Mathematics training courses held in 2016 by the pedagogical teachers working in Child Education located in a city in the interior of the state of São Paulo. The research is qualitative. The question that led to this was: "What were the meanings explained in relation to the Mathematics courses held in 2016 by teachers who teach in Early Childhood Education in a context that involves continuing education?" The instruments used for data collection were semi-structured questionnaires and interviews with teachers inserted in the process of continuing training outside working hours in a municipal school. The theoretical reference considers the studies of Leontiev (1978, 1983); Vigotski (2009); Imbernón (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012); Lorenzato (2006, 2011, 2012); Hengemuhle (2008); Vargas (2014), Gladcheff (2015), among others. They stand out in the definition of senses studies pointed out by Leontiev (1978, 1983) and in the continued studies studies of Imbernón (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012). The analysis of the data indicated that the directions explained by the pedagogues refer to: a) methodology; b) mathematical contents. In the methodology teachers emphasized as being fundamental for contribution in teacher training, because it is linked to classroom practice. In the mathematical contents, the explicit meanings are related to what should be taught in Early Childhood Education, being the contents connected with the methodology, which denotes that the relation that the teachers create with the teaching of mathematics is very related to the professional knowledge, reflection of the teaching practices and the sharing of experiences, during the teacher training carried out in the context in which the teacher acts.Item type:Item, Cerâmica de titanato de lantânio e lítio: sistematização de obtenção e crescimento de grão orientado induzido via cristais de aluminato de lantânio(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-10) ;Oliveira, Rafael Bonacin de ;Andreeta, Marcello Rubens Barsi ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/7904227795652627 ;Souza, Dulcina Maria Pinatti Ferreira dehttps://lattes.cnpq.br/4100119317525940The research based on ionic conductive ceramics is part of the scientific innovation efforts applied to the industry of solid state batteries and sensors, which are fundamental for the development of new, more efficient and sustainable technologies. One of the most relevant examples found in the current scientific literature is the lithium lanthanum titanate (LLTO) ceramics, whose ambient temperature conductivity is one of the largest available among solid state lithium conductive materials. However, ceramic processing difficulties and controversies about the compositional nature of this ceramic material still unclear to the scientific community. Even so, the success in the use of this ceramic material, as electrolyte or pH sensor, leaves no doubt about its promising character in scientific and technological innovation on diverse fields of applications. The aim of this thesis is to present a systematic study on the ceramic processing of LLTO (x ≈ 0.10, 0.11 and 0.12) ceramics, based on the motivation for technological application of this compound as electrolyte or solid state pH sensor. The introduction of single crystals in the ceramic processing were also investigated, culminating in development of a LLTO crystal/ceramic composite with crystal fibers from lanthanum aluminate (LAO). The results show the structural and microstructural evolution from the LLTO ceramics, sintered at temperatures above 1250 °C, strongly correlated to the overfiring phenomena with the electrical properties having an inversely proportional behavior as a function of the sintering temperature. The formation of textured LLTO regions around the LAO crystals is also showed. The nature of this region is chemically and structurally very similar to the ceramic matrix, however, its creation results in composites with ionic conductivities about 5 times higher than the LLTO.Item type:Item, Work hard, party harder: o trabalho dos DJs no lazer noturno paulistano(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-11) ;Pina, Marcos Roberto Mariano ;Lima, Jacob Carlos ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/9244132532446607https://lattes.cnpq.br/7763913593471267This research analysed the work of DJs in the city of São Paulo, who are responsible for the creation and presentation of musics resulting from interventions in existing musics. The discussion revolved around the values articulated in the process of identifying DJs as workers, considering the distinctive elements of artistic and musical work, historically distant from traditional representations of productive work. This study case opens the way to rethink conceptual pairs of sociology of work, such as polyvalence/specialization, formality/informality, creativity/reproducibility, autonomy/subordination. DJs are inserted in the context of an increasing valuing of self-employment, where what was previously perceived as a precarious situation, now ends up positively resignified in the semantic field of ‹ cultural entrepreneurship ›. The trajectories of the DJs point to a borderline position, located between the discourses of the ‹ professionalization › of the musical work, as a collective effort of regularization, and the discourses of the maintenance of the creative autonomy. Social networks play a leading role in the access of DJs to the market, explaining the relevance of informal partnerships for surveying the presentation opportunities. It is an activity that has always endured the direct consequences of intermittency and informality, born in a context of flexibility, in which the ideals of learned skills and innate ‹ talent › are confronted. The research methodology was qualitative, based on field observation, visiting DJs presentation from different musical styles in São Paulo, as well as semi-structured interviews.Item type:Item, Usos e potenciais das metodologias ativas em EPS pelas equipes de saúde: estudo de caso(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-12) ;Lemos, Felipe Magalhães ;Silva, Geovani Gurgel Aciole da ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/6146469366214279https://lattes.cnpq.br/0462454382974231The objective of this study was to analyze how the process of Permanent Health Education in the DRS XIV region occurs. As a SUS policy, the Permanent Health Education became a powerful tool for the implementation of Primary Health Care. The research was based on the principles of qualitative research and used interviews with health secretaries and participant observation in meetings of PHE, as a source of data collection. For the interpretation of the data, the technique of content analysis was applied. Two themes were found: (i) What is or is not permanent education; (ii) About the valuation of PHE. In the first theme, the sub-themes "Knowledge as a focus of practice" and "Modus operandi" show that 85% of secretaries and 100% of Health Unit workers understand Permanent Health Education as Continued Education and that 45% of secretaries expect proposed by DRS XIV. In the sub-theme on the valuation of the PHE it was noticed that there is some valuation on the part of some secretaries, but that in general this valuation does not occur, sometimes by economic impossibilities. Only two secretaries showed knowledge about Active Learning, and the practices observed were not guided by these methods. It was observed that there is evolution in the process of implementation of the Permanent Health Education practices, although most of the secretaries have only changed the name of the practices and maintained the actions of Continued Education. This work presents results that can help to change PHE practices through the use of Active Learning, helping to strengthen the work environments and guarantee the rights of SUS users.Item type:Item, Descrição de uma zona híbrida e mecanismos de isolamento reprodutivo entre duas espécies de caboclinhos (Sporophila Pileata e S. Bouvreuil) (aves: passeriformes) e suas implicações para conservação(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-13) ;Medolago, Cesar Augusto Bronzatto ;Francisco, Mercival Roberto ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/4305313620456233https://lattes.cnpq.br/9388754660245476Hybridization is often a natural process that plays an important role in the evolutionary process among many species. On the other hand, when human environmental changes cause the phenomenon, it can result in detrimental effects on the species involved, leading to biodiversity loss. Several mechanisms can shape a hybrid zone, keeping it stable, thus avoiding the homogenization of parental taxa and, consequently, the disappearance of one or them both. Understanding the mechanisms that shape the hybrid zones contributes with the knowledge of the evolutionary history and provides subsidies to draw of conservation plans. Several autors have studied hybrid zones in birds, but few have directly accessed nests and relationships between adult individuals. Birds of the genus Sporophila form a conservation interest group due to high number of threatened species. The “capped group” (capuchinos) consists in 12 little species of seedeaters very similar in shape, having their main differentiation in the plumage colour of the adult males. Several species migrate and nest in specific sites and often in sympatry, but the hybridization of species in nature has never been confirmed. This study describes the first hybrid zone between two species of capuchinos. To confirm the presence of hybridization, we studied three areas in State of São Paulo, with reproductive populations of S. pileata and one of which is also a reproductive site of S. bouvreuil. We sequenced 91 adult individuals for the mitochondrial gene COI including individuals with the phenotype of each species, females and individuals with intermediate plumage. The haplotypic distribution varied between the areas and in the contact area between the species all phenotypes presented both haplotypes (SBO), evidencing the hybridization. Through microsatellite markers, we observed the presence of two groups within the SBO population, with 15 potentially pure individuals for S. bouvreuil and 14 for S. pileata. We confirmed the paternity of offspring of two couples, whose individuals had different mtDNA haplotypes and among individuals with q<0.90, showing that hybrid individuals are fertile. Our data confirms the hybrid zone between the the capuchinos and the fertile of hybrid individuals. Although there are no individuals with S. bouvreuil phenotype in the other areas, the presence of individuals with intermediate plumages and mtDNA haplotype of the species indicates an area of gene introgression in the other areas, due to the dispersion of hybrids.Item type:Item, Mineração de regras de associação espaço-temporais temáticas aplicada a imagens de explosões solares(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-14) ;Silveira Junior, Carlos Roberto ;Santos, Marilde Terezinha Prado ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/9826026025118073 ;Ribeiro, Marcela Xavierhttps://lattes.cnpq.br/0300141044144026Introduction. Space weather analysis is a complex task that involves spatiotemporal data from satellite images added to data from daily bulletins. These data are characterized as time series of georeferenced images and time series of semantic data (alphanumeric data describing the images), respectively. The mining of association rules can aid in the analysis of these data as a mechanism for revealing new and useful standards for the domain expert. However, existing spatiotemporal association rules mining methods are still limited and, as a consequence, they do not adequately meet expectations for extracting patterns that relate spatiotemporal information to images and semantic data. Goal. Therefore, this work aims to support the analysis of space climate from the development of a method of mining of spatiotemporal association rules that allows to relate solar data semantics and visual. The focus is a series of solar images from satellites. Scientific contribution. A new method was developed for extracting significant patterns from satellite imagery series. Called Solar Miner, this method is composed of: a new process of Extraction Transformation Data load - directed to the solar domain - able to work and relate spatiotemporal data with image processing. A new mining algorithm for spatiotemporal association rules, capable of working with this set of data in an acceptable time. And a new classifier that uses the space-time rules to determine the future behavior of new solar data. The proposed mining algorithm advances the current state-of-the-art mining area of association rules by dividing the application of spatiotemporal constraints into two different stages of processing: spatial constraints are applied during the extraction of frequent itemsets and application of temporal constraints during the generation of spatiotemporal association rules. In this way, it is possible to obtain rules that represent the evolution of a given set of events and how they relate to each other. Finally, these rules are used by the associative classifier that was proposed in this work to predict solar behavior based on its current visual characteristics. Results. The proposed method generated rules that were used for the classification, presenting a precision of up to 87.3% in the classification of solar images, being that this value of precision varies with the characteristic extractor used to represent the images. The higher precision (87.3%) was obtained using SURF as extraction of characteristics and the less precision (82.7%) was used the Histogram as extractor of characteristics. The results obtained were analyzed by the domain expert who evaluated how effective and valid the proposed method.Item type:Item, Estudantes com Transtorno do Espectro do Autismo (TEA) na escola: desafios para a ação educativa compartilhada(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-14) ;Barbosa, Marily Oliveira ;Caiado, Kátia Regina Moreno ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/0803778280883949https://lattes.cnpq.br/5532748263640890The entrance of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the regular school is relatively recent and causes challenges, uncertainties and doubts in educators. The portion of students with ASD who choose the regular school, need and have the right to a quality schooling that promotes the maximum development of their potentialities. Thus, these students need teachers to change their teaching work. To do this, they need teachers to use differentiated methodologies. In view of this, the general objective of this study is developing and evaluating an intervention based on participant research, in order to broaden the shared educational work and to improve access to the curriculum for students with ASD. The specific objectives are: to know the teaching work proposed and performed for the student with ASD in the common classroom and in the Specialized Educational Assistance (SEA); to problematize the process of schooling of the student with ASD with education professionals and with the school support professional; to develop pedagogical dialogues with education professionals and school support professionals in order to promote changes in the schooling process for students with ASD. This study is based on the dialectical historical materialist perspective with a focus on historical cultural psychology and historical-critical pedagogy. Participant research involved the ESA teacher, the classroom teacher, the pedagogical coordinator, the school support professional, the director, and the school vice principal. The instruments used were: documentary research; observation with field diary and video recording; interview; and sessions of pedagogical dialogues with simple autoconfrontation. The data were analyzed in the thematic axes: schooling process for students with ASD; interaction between school professionals and students with ASD; and movement of the school in the development of the participant research. The results pointed that one of the barriers to the schooling of the student with ASD is the action of professionals, mainly regarding the fulfillment of the prescribed ones in their professional functions, when their actions are neglected or delegated to others, there are barriers that hinder the academic development of the student. In addition, it takes joint planning and teacher articulation. When there is individualized educational planning for the TEA student along with the common curriculum and the goals set out by teachers and families, there is possibility of academic development in regular school. It is necessary to carry out new studies on this topic, expanding the sample of teachers and students with ASD, making possible the construction of new knowledge necessary for the modification of the Brazilian educational realities. Therefore, the effects of the mineral fillers (montmorillonite, sepiolite and calcium carbonate), acetone and the resin viscosities in the electrical and thermomechanical properties of the nanocomposites were evaluated. The acetone assisted the carbon nanotubes network formation, decreasing the percolation threshold from 0.08 wt% to 0.05 wt% of nanotubes in the higher viscosity epoxy samples. Moreover, the electrical conductivity increased one order of magnitude, raising from 1.15 x 10-5 S/m to 1.94 x 10-4 S/m in the composition with 0.1 wt% of carbon nanotubes. Montmorillonite and sepiolite did not show a sinergistic effect with nanotubes, whereas good results were achieved with calcium carbonate in some compositions. The composition with the higher viscosity resin, 0.1 wt% of carbon nanotubes and 1 wt% of calcium carbonate using acetone reached an electrical conductivity of 1.28 x 10-3 S/m, 1 and 2 orders of magnitude higher than the compositions with 0.1 wt% of carbon nanotubes with and without the use of a solvent, respectively. The lower viscosity resin nanocomposites showed intermediate electrical conductivities if compared to the values of the higher viscosity resin with and without the use of a solvent. The morphology was important in the results, since the nano- and micromectric dispersion together influenced the electrical properties. The nanotubes did not influence the thermomechanical properties, keeping the E’ and Tg values. However, the mineral fillers increased the nanocomposites glass transition temperatures.Item type:Item, Avaliação do processo de vulcanização inversa visando a aplicação na produção de fertilizantes(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-17) ;Valle, Stella Fortuna do ;Oliveira, Cauê Ribeiro de ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/5321313558714462https://lattes.cnpq.br/0243366748928079Sulfur (S) is an essential macronutrient for crop development, nevertheless, its deficiency in agricultural soils has become increasingly alarming in the last decades. Despite elemental sulfur (S8) being a widely utilized commercial alternative, plant uptake is only possible after its biological oxidation to sulfate (SO42-), a slow process that considerably reduces the compounds efficiency. The present research proposed the synthesis of a new sulfur fertilizer based on the chemical modification of S8 rings into a linear structure, more available to the oxidizing microorganisms. In order to do that, the copolymerization technique entitled inverse vulcanization was conducted, which resolves S8 processing issues while also applying environmentally sustainable principles. Chemically stable and functional polymeric-sulfur products were obtained via copolymerization between S8 and soybean oil, and copolymers with porous structure were also prepared using NaCl as porogen agent. Physical-chemical characterizations exhibited the structural and morphological changes. FTIR showed the absence of bands related to C=C bonds in the products spectra and the appearance of S-S stretching band, while XRD exhibited the materials amorphous character. DSC revealed that part of the sulfur was not converted into the polymer, remaining dispersed in the matrix as S8. Oxidation experiments in submerged cultivation with A. niger proved the polymeric-sulfur materials are capable of significantly improving the oxidation process, with percentages more than 50% superior than the ones reached by S8. The oxidation test in soil revealed that the porous structure greatly enhanced the polymer efficiency, producing 1818% more sulfate than S8 in 58 days of incubation. The hydrocarbon content in the materials also contributed for the better performance as a source of carbon and energy for the oxidizing microorganisms. Based on these results, the developed materials show great potential as multifunctional sulfur fertilizers, with ideal physical-chemical and processing properties for this kind of products and agronomic capacity to increase sulfate availability for plant uptake.Item type:Item, Avaliação comportamental de camundongos expostos ao teste de aversão condicionada ao contexto induzida pela interação social agressiva(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-18) ;Penagos Gil, Jeimmy Marion ;Souza, Ricardo Luiz Nunes de ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/2475842684688693https://lattes.cnpq.br/1550425716406903Rodents exposed to social defeat stress exhibit hormonal, behavioral, and autonomic responses called defense reactions. This study sought to conduct a behavioral validation of a context aversion generated by social defeat test. Ninety-eight male albino Swiss mice were habituated for 10 minutes for three consecutive days to an apparatus, containing a tunnel-bound burrow, which leads to a surface (divided by a wire mesh) that has two parts of the same dimensions : Surfaces A (site of social interactions with physical contact) and surface B (location of social interactions without physical contact). The burrow, the tunnel and the surface A are separated from each other by guillotine doors. From the 4th to the 7th day, the animals were distributed in: (a) control group (animals exposed to social interaction with non-aggressive conspecific), (b) defeated group (animals exposed to social interaction with a dominant conspecific), exposed to 5 minutes of sensory interaction. In this interaction an aggressor or non-aggressor mouse was placed on surface B separated from the other animal by the wire mesh, followed by social defeat or non-aggressive interaction on surface A for 3 minutes. Subsequently, aggressive or non-aggressive animals were placed on surface B for a further 5 minutes, to the adapted test of interaction with the conspecific (same context where they were habituated). Following the same protocol, but in a new context (social interaction box), group (c) control - new context was exposed to social interaction with a non - aggressive cospecific, and group (d) defeated - new context was exposed to interaction with a dominant co-specific. On the eighth day, all animals were individually exposed to the Adapted test of interaction with the conspecific for 10 minutes, without the presence of the coespecific, but containing a portion of the sawdust of their housing cage. On the third day of Habituation and on the Day of Reexposure, the following measures were recorded: frequency of entrances and time spent in the burrow, tunnel and surface A; frequency and time of rising and grooming; SAP total time and time to dig on the surface. When compared to the Hab stage, on the eighth day the GD had a decrease of rising, the permanence time on surface A and excavation of the sawdust, as well as increase in the frequency and time of grooming in the burrow and in the frequency of total SAP stretched. Analysis of the results did not reveal any signs of environmental avoidance in GC, GDn or GCn animals. Our results showed that the use of four social defeats preceded by or followed by sensory exposure to the aggressor opponent causes aversion conditioned to the context of the clash.Item type:Item, Delegacia Eletrônica: uma inovação da polícia civil do estado de São Paulo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2018-09-18) ;Florencio, Patricia Fernandes de Souza ;Fonseca, Sérgio Azevedo ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/2879240108726907https://lattes.cnpq.br/1311549900424023The concept of the Electronic Government (e-gov) leads us to consider that the Information and communication technology (ICTs) are applied at various levels of government, especially the evolution of public services. More precisely, we describe and interpret the process of meaning production in statements made and formulated by Brazilian media discourses that manifestly deal with the voice of subjects whose success stems from their vocal performance, especially in the context of music. Thus, when we consider the postulate of the Discourse Analysis formulated by Pêcheux (2009) that subject and meaning are at the same time constituted in the historical movement, we understand that the words about the voice of success produce, at the same time, the senses and the subjects inside. Before this picture, we investigate what is said and how the voice is stated in the discourse of success in the current Brazilian society and the differences in the treatment of the voice of those who figure in the media world. Specifically, we aim to understand what distinctions may exist in terms of the production of meanings of the voices of success when disseminated by specialized or traditional, conservative or progressive vehicles of medium and large circulation. To do so, we analyzed a corpus consisting of texts from Rolling Stone, Billboard, Carta Capital e Veja and the Folha de São Paulo and O Estado de S. Paulo newspapers, published between January 2010 and December 2015. From this, we verified which is said of the voice, especially in the mainstream media, in order to reproduce inequalities and support various effects of sense of success in texts with massive circulation. In view of this, we find that there is a silencing of stigmatized voices within the media universe and, as one of its repercussions, there is a symbolic constellation in the collective imaginary, on which the reproduction of the statements of the voices of media success weighs. We observe the existence of a vocal aesthetic whose origin is at the junction of the cultural entertainment industry with the mainstream media, aiming at the dissemination of the voices of success. The methodological procedures adopted in the development of this study are based on qualitative research, in the realization of which we seek to identify regularities / irregularities, continuities and discontinuities of linguistic-discursive units of utterances within relatively distinct ideological orientations concerning speeches about subjects' voices of media success.
