    The main objective of the international project The Klein Project of ICMI-IMU is to bring knowledge and applications of contemporary Mathematics to the enrichment of the knowledge of secondary school teachers, through small articles written in accessible language. This dissertation aims to face the bigger challenge of taking such knowledge into the classroom practice, studying the modern mathematical ideas that are not in the school textbooks in one Klein article about digital images and processing. Concrete teaching material has been constructed for paper-folding activities of a didactical sequence within the curricular content of matrices of secondary school level, with applications in the mathematical language of digital images, then promoting the understanding about the geometry of isometric transformations of plane. The work presents the planning of the sequence and the description of the execution of the lessons in actual classes, following the principles of Lesson Study methodology.

    The prevalence of neurocognitive disorders is increasing in Brazil, with Alzheimer's disease (AD) being the most common cause. This situation demands new technologies for the evaluation of cognitive repertoires. The paradigm of the equivalence of stimuli has contributed to the understanding of variables associated with these repertories. However, its relation to cognitive alterations in the elderly remains unknown. Thus, the present study aimed to compare the cognitive performance of the elderly with and without AD with performance in a task of equivalence classes formation, as well as to analyze differences in these performances between groups. Two groups were defined: (I) Group without AD, with 30 elderly and (II) Group DA, with 15 elderly, selected in Health Units. The Addenbrooke Cognitive Exam was applied to evaluate the cognitive performance of the elderly. Participants performed a computerized task to establish three equivalence classes. Each class consisted of a familiar picture, one geometric and one abstract. Statistical analyzes revealed that the performance of the non-AD group was significantly better than the AD group in all blocks of the task. There was a direct correlation between performance on conditional discrimination and cognitive evaluation only in the group without AD. One-third of the sample of the non-AD group formed the equivalence classes, against none of the AD group. The other participants failed to demonstrate learning of baseline relationships or the emergence of transitivity. The findings of this study reinforced those of the literature, in which the relation between performance in neurocognitive tests and in the tasks of equivalence classes formation was observed. The influence of schooling needs to be better studied.

    The objective of this research was to capture the ways of perceiving and understanding what the meaning of self-management is for the members of the nucleus researched, first in a broader perspective on the concept of self-management, later on by a search for an understanding of self- later understand the possible relationships derived within this insertion in a hierarchical institution.     Recognizing the quality of water and discovering ways to reduce its consumption is a matter of survival, however, until recently "The Blue Planet" considered an inexhaustible good, has become, today social equity, something to be saved under the plastic risks in the supply of the of large citiesin accordance with portfolio nº 2914 of 12/12/2011 of the Ministry of Healf. The choice of this problem situation, one of the researchers ' greatest concerns about the future of mankind, is related to the role that water represents to society. For that reason, the main goal of this work is to make students aware of the minimization of water consumption treated by harnessing rainwater for non-drinkable use with the creation of a cistern, which corroborate a teaching and learning methodology, that valuable support and possibility the realization of the connection between mathematics and the concrete.     This study aims to analyze, discuss and investigate the influences and implications of the new technologies in the teaching and learning of dance, materialized in pedagogical practices in Physical Education and, specifically, to describe and analyze the use of technological resources as mediating tools and didactic processes in the teaching and learning of dance in Physical Education classes. The theoretical reference used was the cultural historical theory of Vygotsky; the studies of Adolfo Sánchez Vázques with the philosophy of praxis, as well as Agnes Heller who discusses the daily life and, besides these authors, Jenkins studies clarifies on the "transmediate narrative" and, MCLuhan adds in discussing technology as a human extension . The sample consisted of 21 teachers of Physical Education who are effective of the municipal education system of the city of Votuporanga-SP, city where the study was carried out. The instruments used for the data collection were: semi-structured questionnaire, semi-structured individual interview, observations and filming. The results of this study showed that the new technological trends are phenomena that need to be studied, since they are introduced in an indiscriminate manner, without proper educational intentions and are characterized as alien objects for many teachers who do not master the use of new technologies. The data point to the initial and continued formation as a determining factor in the positioning of teachers who do not use the new technologies as mediating tools of dance during the classes. In addition, there are still questions of prejudice and machismo that imply in the justification of some teachers who reported lack of affinity with the theme. The data also point to the relevance of continuing education in the workplace to address potential problems involving new technologies, dance and teacher training.
