More specifically, in the process of apprehending and updating studies on the effects of the prison system on certain groups of society, prison. The object of interest is the so-called "vila", a group of houses destined to the managers of the Campinas-Hortolândia penitentiary complex, in the interior of the State of São Paulo. Located less than 60 meters from the prison walls, this work intends to observe and analyze micro-relations between residents and former residents of this locality and how prison contributes to the organization of their daily lives. In keeping with the changes in the public policies of the prison system in São Paulo, such as the expansion of prisons, its control by the criminal factions and the war on drugs, this work sought to understand how these issues were managed by this group in the search for strategies of maintaining the normality of social relations established in this place. Through interviews and the reconstruction of the collective memory of the group, it was possible to perceive that the influence of the prison generates not only a change in the discourse about the insecurity in the conscious plane, but also a deep process of subjectivation of the prison logic, reorganizing the strategies for guarantee cohesion and solidarity of the group. Through a symbiotic (between prison and village) and conflicting process, the relationships observed were shown as a constant effort by families to reinforce and re- signify the elements family and community institution, through adaptations that react to daily prison. These adaptations are incorporated into the everyday and normalized, becoming no longer objects of disruption of order, but rather elements that are part of the constitution of the community itself. Neither inside nor outside, but through prison, the village makes possible a sui generis community, an exacerbation of the influence of the prison in the groups in which it transforms. In it, the distinctions between public and private are weakened, as the solidarity between members strengthens. This causes, as I have tried to demonstrate, a community with a high degree of interdependence, which results in an odd, detached behavior of the broader society. It was also possible to observe the dilemmas and the great difficulty of the adaptation of these families to social contact, especially at the moment when they disengaged from their positions and closed the connections with the village community.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Jogos Africanos: aprendendo com estudantes de origem africana matriculados na Universidade Federal de São Carlos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-04-10) Pereira, Alesandro Anselmo; Alves, Fernando Donizete; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3812723309905378; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3077220489892146The formation of Brazilian culture was strongly influenced by the African peoples and one of the contributions of these habits, customs and traditions was the games that these peoples brought to Brazil. Through games human beings have created cultural and social conditions of learning to play. We believe that the importance of African culture is especially evident in the formation of the Brazilian people, especially when we talk about education, inheritance, traditions are the result of the influences of each culture. In this sense, the objective of this work is to identify the games coming from the countries of African students enrolled in the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and relate them to the African games in the literature. We used qualitative research as a method of work through the interview. The data collection was performed by an instrument called script, which served as a guide. The testimonies collected were recorded, transcribed and analyzed. As a specific objective, this work intends to contribute to processes of significant changes in our Brazilian society, such as recognizing and respecting different cultures, sharing the cultural wealth of Africa and making available the contents of games of African origin so that they can serve as a subsidy for the work of other educators. As a result, it was observed that African games are also part of the games played by people of different age groups in Brazil. It is also noticed that the playful is a theme full of consensus and conflicts in the field of education.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Análise do sistema construtivo de edifícios de múltiplos pavimentos no Brasil em lajes lisas com cordoalhas engraxadas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-04-10) Nunes, Harlen; Carvalho, Roberto Chust; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3633394168236221; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7298729721090108This work is an unpublished survey on the analysis of the use of a prestressed concrete constructional system with greased corbels in smooth slabs in multi - storey buildings in Brazil, according to the new norm NBR 6118: 2014. It is a critical study with the focus of market exemption on the processes of structural execution and the impact they cause on the cost of the structure. The studies developed so far, in the structural aspect, were made with norms prior to this one, which considers the quality of the structure and the durability beyond the safety conditions that are followed by all the offices of projects of the country. In relation to the study of the constructive processes there are only until then, studies done by companies involved in the procedures and, therefore, possibly without the necessary exemption for a critical judgment. Also, the studies done so far are extremely watertight without raising the project (structural calculation) and the cost of execution (processes and inputs) in detail. There are studies in which only indices of materials (concrete, steel and shape) are established, others that deal with the structural behavior of massive slab, ribbed lattice and ribbed with plastic vats and the conventional structural system (consisting of massive slabs and beams) with that of plain, massive or ribbed slabs, and finally a study that studies comparatively the costs between conventional structural systems and the structural systems of ribbed slabs in reinforced concrete. In this paper we try to understand the differences that exist when one opts for the adoption of the system of flat slabs for multi-storey buildings in detriment to the conventional one. Thus, it is analyzed from the phase of the structural project (what influences the execution and what the main knowledge that must be added to the detailing process), the one of execution, mainly focusing on the question of quantity of service and finally quantifying the cost of a same building executed in the region of Ribeirão Preto considering the conventional systems and the same with prestress slab. As a parameter of analysis to make these simulations, surveys of works in the country and in the region of Ribeirão Preto, interviews between actors involved in the process and bibliographic research were done. It can be concluded that, even in the case of usual buildings (medium size, buildings with usual plant architecture), this type of application can economically and without many technical difficulties be applied in several regions of the country, especially in Ribeirão Preto.
