Item type:Item, Etnografia de uma lei: o ensino de história e cultura afro-brasileira e indígena(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-12) ;Santos, Tamires Cristina dos ;Cohn, Clarice ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/1714080901123094https://lattes.cnpq.br/9141182153364129The Law and Directives for the Brazilian Educational System (Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional/LDB), promulgated on December 20, 1996, which establishes national educational guidelines for the contents of the curricula of the public and private schools network in Brazil, was amended by Law 10.639/2003 and subsequently by Law 11.645/2008, establishing respectively the obligation to teach and learn about the History and Culture of Afro-Brazilian, African and Indigenous Peoples of Brazil in Basic Education. This ethnographic research sought to establish a dialogue with different agents who, directly or indirectly, were part of the process that established the law 11.645. From the fieldwork carried out at SECADI / MEC with its Technicians in Educational Affairs, documents collected in the MEC, and conversations with Indigenous leaderships, the aim was to learn about different discourses and practices that are mobilized around the law.Item type:Item, Resolubilidade contínua e singularidades removíveis para a equação divergente(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-12) ;Biliatto, Victor Sandrin ;Moonens, Laurent ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/0480536204428583 ;Picon, Tiago Henriquehttps://lattes.cnpq.br/7853908129934448In this text we study some results obtained by Nguyen Cong Phuc and Monica Torres in the paper "Characterizations of the Existence and Removable Singularities of Divergence-measure Vector Fields" regarding the characterisation of solutions and removable singularities of the equation div F = u, where u is a measure and F is a continuous or Lp vector field. To perform this study, the text presents definitions and properties on divergence-measure vector fields, Hausdorff measures, Sobolev capacity and functions of bounded variation.Item type:Item, Avaliação da relação entre a resistência ao cisalhamento e a resistência à compressão paralela às fibras de madeiras do grupo das folhosas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-12) ;Couto, Natalia Garcia ;Christoforo, André Luis ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/7623383075429186https://lattes.cnpq.br/5723156281267812Wood presents several advantages when compared with other materials employed in the civil construction sector. In Brazil, the standard ABNT NBR 7190: 1997 establishes test methods to determine physical and mechanical properties. However, tests demands procedures on specialized and high-cost laboratories. The Brazilian code displays different values for relations between shear strength and compression strength parallel to the fibers. This study aimed to investigate, considering the results of the compressive strength and shear strength parallel to the fibers tests, the relationship between these properties obtained with the statistical assistance of least square method and considering ten hardwood wood species. The results were compared with the relationship values disposed on the Brazilian Code ABNT NBR 7190:1997, being the greatest coefficient found 86,4% higher than the coefficient presented by the Brazilian code, considering the set of all species. Regarding the variation of the relationship between the investigated properties, considering the different classes of wood resistance, no study was identified that decreases in the values of the greatest coefficients as the classes increases, a situation that ABNT NBR 7190: 1997 exposes in its text, thus presenting another divergent result.Item type:Item, Panorama nacional dos estudantes público-alvo da educação especial na educação superior(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-12) ;Rocha, Luiz Renato Martins da ;Lizzi, Elisângela Aparecida da Silva ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/8487600124864253 ;Lacerda, Cristina Broglia Feitosa dehttps://lattes.cnpq.br/9468232016416725The target group of learners with special educational needs (SEN) in Higher Education totaled 37,927 of the 8,027,297 enrollments in 2015, corresponding to 0.47% (INEP, 2015b). It should be noted that, despite the small percentage, this public has been growing significantly in Higher Education in recent years, which indicates the constant need to create even more effective policies to guarantee access: admission, stay and institutions of higher education (HEI). In this sense, the data collected in the present research provide indications of how the Special Education in Higher Education in Brazil offers an opportunity for revision and orientation regarding the recognition and registration of SEN students in the Higher Education Census. Thus, we aimed to analyze and map SEN students in Higher Education in Brazil, taking as a data source the year 2015 and, more specifically, presenting a panorama of Higher Education based on the microdata of the Higher Education Census. In order to reach the proposed objective, we carried out a quantitative research with a descriptive and exploratory method. Data were processed using the SAS® program (Version 9.2) and software R (Version 3.3.1), which enabled access to the microdata through tables. Through Microsoft Office Excel®, the graphs and other tables were assembled, as well as the verification of the values found. As we understand that behind each of these numbers there is a life story, we perform its interpretation in the light of their interaction with the historical and social context. We also identify the imprecision of various data, usually due to misunderstandings in the collection of information (which may be caused by self-declaration or by those who feed such data in the INEP system), or by the impossibility of correcting data once informed and published, which generates distortions of information in relation to reality. In addition, despite the limitations of the data, it is clear that the SEN students are disadvantaged in relation to other people, since the conclusion of the course is still a challenge to be overcome, and access has been restricted to a small portion. For a better overview of Brazilian Higher Education, it is necessary to construct a data collection instrument at the national level, so that, at the time of the student's enrollment in the IES, all the information related to their condition is duly considered and the data presented in the Census indeed express a reliable picture for the construction of public policies.Item type:Item, Registro em prontuário: compreensão do processo de ensino aprendizagem no âmbito da Terapia Ocupacional em contextos hospitalares(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-12) ;Bombarda, Tatiana Barbieri ;Joaquim, Regina Helena Vitale Torkomian ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/7719481657895650https://lattes.cnpq.br/8070700589653226The medical record, designated as a collective construction derived from multiple specialized registries, shows the assistance procedures performed and aim at improving the quality of attention to the user. In Occupational Therapy, the medical records aim to reflect the professional reasoning and chronologically enable the visualization of the course of the therapeutic intervention and the occupational performance of the patient throughout the care process. Despite the great importance, the record in medical records presents as an unexplored topic in the scientific field of the Brazilian Occupational Therapy. With the objective of identifying and understanding the teaching-learning process of the medical records in the hospital context existing in the undergraduate courses in Occupational Therapy in Brazil, this quantitative-qualitative study was delineated in two stages: a) documentary research - that consisted in the survey and analysis of documents referring to theoretical disciplines and of professional training of hospital contexts offered by undergraduate courses in Occupational Therapy in Brazil, b) field research - application of an online questionnaire with teachers responsible for occupational therapy disciplines in hospital contexts and students in the practice of a vocational training in the hospital. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive statistics and discourse of the collective subject. As results, it was verified that the analyzed documents do not gift contents that sustain the practice of documentation, however, students and teachers generally signal, to carry out assessment, intervention and discharge records in accordance with the items recommended in legislation. As fragile aspects of the records, the occupational therapeutic diagnosis and the prognosis were identified. It was verified that the process of teaching-learning of the record in the medical record occurs mostly linked to the activities of professional training, which can be problematic when observed the information that not all students practice internship in the hospital field and that there are students who have access only for medical records. The main teaching-learning strategies employed in undergraduate courses were the discussions of clinical cases and supervised practices, with the main difficulties encountered in this process being the difficulty of access to the medical records, coupled with the dynamics of the service and the lack of standardization in the terminology of the profession. It is believed that the low frequency of insertion of information on prognosis in the medical record correlates with the specificities of the hospital field and that the scarce insertion of the occupational therapeutic diagnosis is linked to the absence of national discussion about this elaboration. Regarding the teaching strategies adopted, it is believed that these are aimed at instigating the development of professional reasoning and reflective critical capacity in relation to intervention, a factor that may contribute to the qualification of the medical record, given the better perception of the role of the occupational therapist and his praxis in the hospital. It is concluded that in general there are weaknesses in the teaching-learning process of the record in medical records, a factor that demands investments in the qualification of training for the documentary practice, which will favor better recognition of the professionItem type:Item, Selective laser melting of a biocompatible Ti-35Nb-7Zr-5Ta alloy(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-12) ;Batalha, Rodolfo Lisboa ;Gargarella, Piter ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/4641435644243916 ;Kiminami, Claudio Shyintihttps://lattes.cnpq.br/5443002033733395Neste trabalho, estudou-se uma nova rota de fabricação de peças de uma liga biocompatível. Item type:Item, Uma estimativa do tipo L1 para potencial de Riesz(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-13) ;Hoshijima, Raphael Shoji ;Picon, Tiago Henrique ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/7853908129934448https://lattes.cnpq.br/4530308841428767In this work we will present a L1-type estimates for the Riesz potentials envolving the Riesz transform. Among the available resources, the data collected during the research e summing it is essential, because the result obtained should be the product of its rigorous analysis. In this scope and associated with distributed consensus mechanisms, the Blockchain data structure can ensure data reliability in a transparent, decentralized and immutable way, and emerges as a possibility to contribute to the progress of science through new ways of processing large amounts of data collected in a scientific research. In this sense, the general objective of this work is to analyze Blockchain technology and its possibilities inserted in scientific communication and research data management. The specific objectives are to describe the management of research data and the data lifecycle; identify the main concepts, structure and functioning, related to Blockchain technology; and point out Blockchain technology and its potential applications in Science. This is an exploratory and theoretical research of qualitative character. The results present the survey conducted on Scientific Communication and its relationship with Information Science, focusing on the importance of data management and metadata for the description of research datasets, and their impact with Blockchain. It is considered that the moment is premature to affirm that Blockchain or any of the technologies in its surroundings, in its current stages, will solve all problems related to the reproducibility crisis. In the short term Blockchain is likely to be applied to specific points in the flow of scientific research helping to resolve mistrust in the data and methodologies used. Since the applications related to the theme are still in embryonic phases of development, implementation and acceptance, it is not even possible to affirm that their implementations are close to the objectives to which they were designed, thus enabling numerous opportunities for research and developments for Information Science.Item type:Item, Avaliação do padrão Simple Knowledge Organization System (SKOS) para a representação de vocabulários controlados(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-13) ;Sousa, Janailton Lopes ;Ramalho, Rogério Aparecido Sá ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/5602653417743793https://lattes.cnpq.br/0207144049736436Knowledge Organization System (KOS) are information resources representation tools used in Information Science, the KOS background includes the study of the concepts and use of digital technological instruments. The Simple Knowledge Organization System (SKOS) represents this junction between the KOS theoretical foundation and its conceptual frameworks, with the use of digital representation tools, favoring the representation of a traditional KOS in digital environments. However, the increase in controlled vocabulary publications, available in digital environments, points to the need to identify new evaluation procedures for these instruments. In this sense, the general objective of this research is to identify evaluation parameters of the SKOS standard, for the representation of controlled vocabularies. This research is theoretical and methodological, with a qualitative approach and exploratory character, which aims to examine the themes of representation, organization, semantic technologies and vocabulary availability in digital environments. As a result of this research, evaluation parameters are presented that can be applied in SKOS-coded vocabularies, thus serving as a reference source that can assist research in this theme. It is concluded that the difficulty of evaluating controlled vocabularies is still present, in this sense, the use of parameters that can help this process contributes to the advancement of discussions that include this theme in the field of study of the Knowledge Organization.Item type:Item, Diversidade e potencial biotecnológico da comunidade bacteriana associada ao pinhão-manso (Jatropha curcas L.)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-13) ;Machado, Paula Cristiane ;Sousa, Cristina Paiva de ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/9002619114161319 ;Lacava, Paulo Teixeirahttps://lattes.cnpq.br/8947678349043750The present work was developed from four objectives: (1) biochemical characterization of 63 rhizobacteria, associated with Jatropha curcas, as for potential for promoting plant growth and enzyme production; Of these isolates, 27% tested positive for biological nitrogen fixation, 73% produced IAA and 69% solubilized inorganic phosphate. Regarding the antagonism test the rhizospheric isolates showed antagonistic activity with potential for biocontrol of the following phytopathogenic fungi: Alternaria alternata (39%), Colletotrichum sp. (42%), Fusarium oxysporum (30%) and F. profileratum (36%). In vitro enzymatic activity tests revealed that 30% of rhizobacteria showed amylolytic, 19% cellulolytic, 40% sterolytic, 26% lipolytic, 30% pectinolytic and 70% proteolytic activity. Among the 27 bacterial isolates identified by partial sequencing of the 16S gene, the presence of Bacillus genera was observed; Chryseobacterium; Enterobacter; Klebsiella; Pseudomonas; Serratia and Staphylococcus. (2) Characterization and comparison of diversity by metagenomic analysis of the bacterial community of jatropha rhizospheric soil from three treatments: non-irrigated / dryland; drip irrigation and pivot irrigation. Where it was possible to identify in the samples, sequences of Acidobacteria and Chloroflexi phyla, 4 orders (Acidimicrobiales, Chthoniobacterales, Gaiellales and Rhodospirillales), 7 families (Solibacteraceae, Chitinophagaceae, Acidobacteriaceae, Tepidisphaeraceae, Nitrosomonadaceae, Gemmatimonadaceae and Xanthobacteraceae and 8 genera, Acidothermus, Bacillus, Bradyrhizobium, Bryobacter, Reyranella, Sphingomonas, Steroidobacter and Variibacter. There was no significant increase in diversity in any evaluated treatment. However, species richness was increased in the drip and pivot areas when compared to the non-irrigated area. The bacterial groups that differed significantly between pivot irrigated treatment and rainfed treatment are the Bryobacter genus and Filo Chloroflexi. (3) Evaluation of plant growth promotion of maize (Zea mays) in greenhouse when inoculated with bacteria endophytically isolated of Jatropha curcas. These bacteria were considered potentially positive in the previously performed in vitro biochemical characterization in relation to the potential of plant growth promotion of these isolates. It was not possible to prove the ability to promote growth under greenhouse conditions by the transmission of only endophytic bacteria by seeds evaluated in the proposed methodologies. (4) Evaluation of the antagonistic potential of Jatropha-associated bacteria with potential to control the development of three species of Lasiodiplodia subglobosa, L. euphorbicola and L. pseudotheobromae, phytopathogenic to Jatropha. We evaluated 135 bacterial isolates associated with Jatropha curcas as their ability to inhibit the growth of phytopathogens. 36 isolates (26,67%) had good rates of antifungal activity. Eight isolates (5,9 %) were shown to inhibit in vitro growth above 75%. phytopathogen, especially the rhizospheric isolates of the genera Pseudomonas sp. and Bacillus subtillis.Item type:Item, Avaliação da qualidade dos serviços de suporte em Tecnologia da Informação em uma Instituição Federal de Ensino Superior(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-13) ;Farrapo Junior, Antonio Carlos ;Mergulhão, Ricardo Coser ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/0598720328915137https://lattes.cnpq.br/9838737131099013The assessment of the information technology service quality provided by private or public organizations to its internal clients is an essential requirement to achieve a competitive advantage. The present study aimed to evaluate the quality of information technology support services in a federal higher education institution (IFES) and to analyze how quality in services, with its dimensions, is related to satisfaction, in the context of IT service management in an IFES. Therefore, a systematic literature review on quality assessment models in IT services was performed, which provided the theoretical basis for operationalizing the SERVQUAL instrument. After the theory articulation, a survey was conducted where the sample was obtained with a respondent rate of 37% of the population of 271 users. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling technique, which supported the refinement of the instrument. The results exposed gaps in the five dimensions of quality during evaluated services. The dimensions of empathy and reliability reached the highest values. It was further observed that the quality of services, with their respective dimensions, positively influences user satisfaction. IT-based SERVQUAL proved to be adequate for assessing the IT support service quality provided by an IFES. Aforementioned allows the instrument to be applied as a reference by other IFES to improve IT service management. Additionally, the research reinforces the existence of a positive relationship between service quality and satisfaction, allowing managers to properly allocate available resources.Item type:Item, Estudo da indução da grafitização da resina fenólica fenol/formaldeído(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-14) ;Renda, Carmen Greice ;Lucas, Alessandra de Almeida ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/9754332336954137https://lattes.cnpq.br/1758443823834471Among the probable carbon sources, there are the polymers, as the phenolic resin, which produces residual carbon around 60% wt./wt. after thermal treatment. It is classified as non-graphitizable, because it has not graphitic lamellaes until temperatures between 2600°C and 3000°C. To organize carbon in temperatures around 1000°C, the catalytic graphitization was suggested, where the phenolic resin receives metallic and/or inorganic agents. Thus, three resins received the agents (ferrocene, boric acid and exfoliated graphite) and they were compared, in specific conditions of processing, to induce turbostratic or graphitic structures. Turbostratic structures have organization beyond 1 nm and graphitic fragments or graphene sheets stacked in almost parallel organizations. Graphitic structures have parallel sheets stacked. Phenolic resins with any graphitic organization would be useful in refractories or for technological applications, depending on the agents used for this induction. Materials with higher lamellae organization could reduce production costs, polydispersivity and increase their efficiency. The study was divided in three stages. In the first stage, some of the proposed procedures proved viability to this route. The best results of the organization level were between 58 and 61% and were obtained for the ferrocene agent, with thermal treatment with more isothermic steps until 1000°C/5h. After the second treatment, until 1400°C/5h, were between 60 and 65%. In the second stage was evaluated the mixing procedure in the carbon organization, the higher organization (70%) was inducted with laboratory stirrer and ultrasonic mixer, with the synthesized modified-novolak resin and ferrocene. In the third stage, the systematically evaluating the thermal decomposition of ferrocene showed phases with carbon (amorphous, turbostratic and graphitic) and with iron (hematite, maghemite, cementite and gamma-iron) and structures type hollow-like onion carbon with magnetic properties were obtained. The results open new possibilites of applications in materials engineering.Item type:Item, Influência dos textos de notícias na queda de preços no mercado de ações brasileiro(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-14) ;Duarte, Juvenal José ;González, Sahudy Montenegro ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/9826346918182685https://lattes.cnpq.br/7979293677056269Forecasting financial losses and making decisions to avoid or reduce them has been a challenge for every investor. On one hand, due to the availability of data and its simple implementation, technical analysis methods have been quickly gaining supporters. On the other hand, modern computers processing power together with advances in text mining provides the opportunity to explore the investor’s behaviors in new data types: textual. This research evaluates the relationship between the Brazilian stock market and news published on national midia, focusing on automatic search for patterns related to down movements using machine learning algorithms. Six experiments were performed to analyze the possibility of predicting price falls automatically, followed by case studies in the search of explanations from the classifiers that justify the predictions. The results show that text mining based approaches overcome traditional strategies when forecasting losses, but the underlying patterns understanding is limited due to the complexity of the classifiers and high dimensional vocabulary.Item type:Item, A tipologia moral na filosofia de Nietzsche(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-14) ;Souza, Israel Fabiano Pereira de ;Gaspar, Francisco Augusto de Moraes Prata ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/0406230537993999https://lattes.cnpq.br/3374191772172408This study is an attempt to understand the importance of developing a typology within the moral reflections proposed by Nietzsche. We understand that typological analysis is primarily a way of moving away from metaphysical thinking, as well as from an absolute generalization of concepts and values held by universals. Moreover, moral types are, we believe, in line with the Nietzschean view of reality, which is characterized by a plurality of meanings and values, which are embedded in a constant becoming and do not allow the existence of the axiological and conceptual crystallization desired by metaphysics. This view fits in with the Nietzschean concepts of will to power and perspectivism that we believe are fundamental to understanding why Nietzsche points to the need to erect a moral typology. Finally, we must think of moral typology as the product of genealogical research. It is from moral genealogy that we gain insight into values and morals through their importance or harm to life. Types in this context are expressions of a certain form of life, whether ascending or degenerate.Item type:Item, Educação e tecnologias digitais no contexto das escolas públicas do estado de São Paulo: um estudo no campo CTS(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-14) ;Falcão, Patricia Mirella de Paulo ;Mill, Daniel Ribeiro Silva ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/1515286597269486https://lattes.cnpq.br/0619543628213855During the last decades, several studies point for a new Society shaped and framed through the optical of a digital culture. New devices emerge in a high speed, precluding the updating of the most adventurers. In front of this apparent digital society, new languages, symbols and signs receive several configurations. Because of it, the inclusion as the exclusion is present. For this new configuration of idealized society, the digital devices make a part of the everyday life as sensory extension of the human being. One of the problematics from the digital culture is the exacerbated spread of information, between real and true, and how to change them, once they digress and dominate the minds, especially of the youngers, about knowledge. Would the public school be included or excluded of this new device? In front of this, the present search aimed understanding how and if it happens, in the public-school group of São Paulo state, specifically in the elementary school, the teaching of subjects trough the digital technologies. The study showed as the general objective map, if the Science teaching should be effectively through the digital technologies. Besides the general objective, four specified objectives were created, like: analyze laws, provisional measures, decrees and other official documents of state bodies that legislate about education in Brazil, mainly the Federal Government, about the guidelines for the Science and technology teaching; catalogue schools to map and analyze which the researches, of infrastructure, human and economic are reserved for the process of the teaching through the digital technologies, confer and describe if in the elected institutions put or are putting some public program about incentive or broked teaching, as the teachers involved in the process, their abilities, knowledge and formations to teach their subjects, characterize what is the students vision about the learning through the digital technologies, and understand what they think about the broked process and about the subjects. Besides, what is the proportion that these technologies take in their lifes as confering their knowledges and abilities about them. Analyzing the search fulcrum, the methodologic triangulation was realized through the interview with three different groups: a. students of elementary school; b. teachers of public schools; c. manager- teacher that knows about the Federal Government jobs about digital technologies at school. So, qualitative and quantitative analyses were done during the purposed study. The analyses point that there is a strong speech that, for conception, treats the children and adolescents as native digitals in a slant of knowledge about digital technologies. But, these knowledges are in the most about games and social groups, besides entertainment things, so, it’s not real. About the teachers, the search shows they frequently confuse the meanings about the broking through digital technologies, and those that searches a broked process, what they do only, once that we conclude school is suboptimal about digital culture. Finishing, the study points there is a big abyss among what the Federal Government speaks, its actions and the effective inclusion of the public schools in digital culture. Besides important questions that involve the digital Technologies in a social and historic slant, that aren’t worked. We conclude the possibilities of field studies STS need to be discussed as a way for inclusion of the school technologies, since the basic education.Item type:Item, Perspectiva ocupacional da participação de crianças na educação infantil e implicações para a terapia ocupacional(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-14) ;Folha, Débora Ribeiro da Silva Campos ;Della Barba, Patrícia Carla de Souza ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/6448489426438006https://lattes.cnpq.br/9888013532351574In this study, we problematize the invisibility of children's occupations, with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education. The general objective was to describe and analyze the education of children from an occupational perspective. The specific objectives were: a) To describe the activities, routines and environments of Early Childhood Education from an occupational perspective; b) To understand and analyze how children with typical and atypical development become involved in the activities, routines and environments of Early Childhood Education; and c) To identify and analyze the implications for Occupational Therapy in order to promote the participation of children in Early Childhood Education, from an occupational perspective. It was na empirical, qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research. The study participants were: four children with typical development; four children targeted by special education, three with Autism Spectrum Disorders and one with physical disability due to congenital malformation; four pre-school teachers and one trainee that accompany one of the children. Data collection was performed from direct observation according to the narrative descriptions technique. In addition, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the teachers and the trainee. The content analysis technique guided the data analysis. We found three categories of analysis: 1) Environments, routines and activities of early childhood education, which brings together results related to environments as promoters or inhibitors of participation in early childhood education, as well as analyzing the learning opportunities present in school routines, grouping the activities of early childhood education around three axes. : play, self-care and formal learning activities; 2) Participation of children with typical development and PAEE children in the environments, routines and activities of early childhood education, which presents and discusses results regarding the participation profiles in the three axes of early childhood activities found in the study, among which children with typical development predominantly demonstrated full participation and PAEE children demonstrated participation ranging from full, active assisted participation to restricted participation; and 3) Uncovering spaces for Occupational Therapy in Early Childhood Education from an occupational perspective, a category that analyzes gaps found in the results that allow contributions from Occupational Therapy to the context of Early Childhood Education. The defense for the understanding of Early Childhood Education from an occupational perspective contemplates the comprehension of the school occupations of play, self-care and learning of formal contents. Children with typical development show full participation in these occupations. Special Education Target Children, especially those who manifest Autism Spectrum Disorders, have restricted participation and require mediation. The specificity of the occupational therapist is to develop strategies to promote the full participation of all children in these occupationsItem type:Item, Existência e multiplicidade de soluções para uma classe de problemas envolvendo operadores fracionários(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-14) ;Gabert, Rodrigo de Freitas ;Rodrigues, Rodrigo da Silva ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/9606661651573155https://lattes.cnpq.br/1113124124946591In this work, we study existence and multiplicity of weak solutions for three problems involving fractional operators, with emphasis on critical growth nonlinearities. The first problem deals with the existence of sign-changing solution for an equation involving the fractional Laplacian and fractional critical Sobolev exponents. In the second problem, we study the existence of signed and sign-changing solutions for an equation involving the fractional p-Laplacian with a Kirchhoff term and fractional subcritical and critical Hardy-Sobolev exponent. The last problem approaches existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for an equation involving the fractional p-Laplacian with a Kirchhoff term, fractional subcritical and critical Hardy-Sobolev exponent and weight with indefinite signal. The presence of critical exponents generates additional mathematical dificulties in obtaining solutions due to lack of compactness of the Sobolev embedding. In our studies, we used variational methods such as the Mountain Pass Theorem, constraint minimization on Nehari sets and the fibering method.Item type:Item, Formação de interlocutores da comunidade para interação com usuários de Comunicação Alternativa com autismo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-14) ;Evaristo, Fabiana Lacerda ;Almeida, Maria Amélia ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/0316944549621648https://lattes.cnpq.br/3295481956325060Alternative Communication means and strategies are useful tools so that students with non-verbal disabilities to socialize in different environments. This research has objective to elaborate, implement and evaluate a program of formation of communication partners in the community for non-verbal users of alternative communication with autism. The specific objectives were: a) form communication partners to interact with users of Alternative Communication; and b) to evaluate the effects of the implementation of the Alternative Communication Program with users with autism in different environments and with different interlocutors. The study included four participants with autism, four family participants and four participants from the community. Data were collected in a medium-sized municipality and another small municipality, both located in the state of São Paulo in several environments frequented by participants with autism, such as their residence and general trade. A intermittent multiple baseline design cross subjects and environments was used in this research. Eight instruments were used to collect the data: 1) semi-structured interview script for parents / family; 2) a semi-structured interview script for the communication partners; 3) list of participants' interests with autism; 4) daily observation protocol; 5) post intervention questionnaire on the use of alternative communication for the communications partners ; 6) protocol of registration of the social interaction of CA users with community communication partners;7) protocol recording the interaction of community communications partners with CA users; and 8) social validity questionnaire. Communication partners training was the first step of research data collection of the research in which the teaching procedures were implemented with the users with TEA, at which point these procedures were filmed for further analysis. Participants with autism underwent initial assessments, corresponding to baseline sessions, and then intervention was initiated, after baseline stability check. All sessions were performed within the routine in which the participant is inserted. After 13 months of application of the program, a questionnaire was collected with the communication partners, in order to observe if CA users acquired communicative skills in the different environments after using the alternative communication, as well as to help them to expand the alternative communication program at home. The results show that from the training program with the community communication partners with the CA users participants demostrated satisfactory development and their communication skills improved with different people, according to their needs and the number of communication partners has been increased.Item type:Item, Descendo o rio: memórias, trajetórias e nomes no baixo Uaupés (AM)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-16) ;Rodrigues, Raphael ;Andrello, Geraldo Luciano ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/5447074379881029https://lattes.cnpq.br/565815316311466This thesis intends to contribute to the ethnography of the peoples of the eastern tukanoan linguistic family on the Uaupés river (specifically, Tukano and Desana), focusing in particular on the low course of this river, where there is a markedly dispersed set of multiethnic communities. We intend to highlight a relatively unexplored aspect of Uaupesian sociality in the available literature, namely, the attributes and principles of socio-spatial dynamics that involve groups at different scales in a seemingly continuous movement along the upstream-downstream axis. It was possible to map, mainly, from the memory of some residents of the lower Uaupés, a series of movements downstream, as well as their distinct contemporary and past motivations. In general, the thesis contributes to the discussion about the formation of groups and persons from the trajectories and displacements interviewed in the way such interlocutors conceptualize their arrival and permanence in the low Uaupés. In the thesis some classic themes of South American ethnology and the Upper Rio Negro are taken up such as hierarchy, naming and shamanism.Item type:Item, Modificação covalente de peptideos antimicrobianos e anticancerigenos para a melhoria de suas propriedades farmacológicas(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-16) ;Morales Vicente, Fidel Ernesto ;Paixão, Márcio Weber ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/3773908504964104https://lattes.cnpq.br/6787956406851460Following the information obtained by a rational design study, cyclic and dimeric helical stabilized analogues of the peptide Cm-p5 were synthetized. The cyclic monomer showed an increased activity in vitro against Candida albicans and Candida parapsilosis, compared to Cm-p5. Initially, fourteen mutants of Cm-p5 were synthesized following a rational design to improve the antifungal activity and pharmacological properties. Antimicrobial testing showed that the activity was lost in every of these fourteen analogues, suggesting as a main conclusion, that a Glu-His salt bridge could stabilize Cm-p5 helical conformation during the interaction with the plasma membrane. A derivative, obtained by substitution of Glu and His for Cys, was synthesized and oxidized with the generation of a cyclic monomer with improved antifungal activity. In addition, two dimers were generated during the oxidation procedure, a parallel and anti-parallel one. The dimers showed a helical secondary structure in water, whereas the cyclic monomer only showed this conformation in SDS. In addition, the antiparallel dimer showed a moderate activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and a significant activity against Listeria monocytogenes. Nor the cyclic monomer nor the dimers were toxi c against macrophages or THP-1 human cells. Continuing with the covalent modifications of the Cm-p5 structure, in chapter 2 is described the design, synthesis and characterization of 15 lipidated and cyclo-lipidated analogues of Cmp5. Previous studies showed that N-lipidation of Cm-p5 by Ugi-4CR increase notably the antifungal activity. Our initial biological test showed that lipidation with decanoic acid did not display any effect inthe activity of Cm-p5, while pentadecanoic acid decreased it. These results are not in accord with the increased activity in case of the Ugi lipidated analogue. The Ugi-4CRdo not only introduces a lipid chain, also produce N-substitution that can alter the conformational behavior of the lipid chain. To determine the influence of N-substitution, three analogues containing Ala, Gly or Pro between the lipid chain and the normal sequence of Cmp5 was synthetized. Gly and Pro are implied in several conformational changes in proteins or peptides.Gly possesses high flexibility while Pro is the only N-alkylated aminoacid and participate in loop or rigid structure formation. In addition, following the expected increase of activity by disulfide bridge formation, similar variants possessing Ala (introduced as a comparison), Gly or Pro between adodecyl chain and cyclic/dimeric CysCysCm-p5 were XVII prepared. Finally, lipidationby Ugi-4CR with n-dodecylisonitrile and subsequent cyclization between Cys produce cyclic and dimeric versions of Ugi lipidated cyclopeptides. All compoundsare under biological evaluation thatwill permit to gainconclusion about the structural motif needed to produce the more antifungal cyclic and lipidated analogue of Cm-p5. In chapter 3, we used the combination of solid phase and liquid phase methods for the synthesis of the anticancer drug, carfilzomib (CFZ). The convergent route comprises the tetrapeptide construction in solid phase followed by coupling with the previously prepared Leu-epoxide. Side effects of CFZ include the heart failure and shortness of breath so that the development of bioconjugation for targeted delivery is desired. With this aim, we prepared a traceless carbonylacrylic-Val-Cit-PAB linker as an alcohol in solid phase using the special DHP resin in high yield. This alcohol linker was tosylated and iodinated with the aim of improve the yields of the substitution reaction with CFZ (substitution of tosylate need heating). The pH (low) insertion peptides (pHLIPs) target acidity at the surfaces of cancer cells and show utility in a wide range of applications, including tumor imaging and intracellular delivery of therapeutic agents. We pretend to merge the capacity of tumor cell selectivity of pHLIP peptide with the traceless, stability and selective delivery of the new carbonylacrylic linker. Finally, the bioconjugation of CFZ to pHLIP peptide through the carbonylacrylic-Val-Cit-PAB linker, for the traceless release and targeted delivery to tumors could significantly improve the effectiveness of this drug in cancer treatment.
