This estimate is an improvement of result due to Stein and Weiss the result of Stein and Weiss that provides Riesz potentials is bounded in Hardy space. Such estimate was proved by Armin Schikorra, Daniel Spector and Jean Van Schaftingen in the paper “An L1-type estimate for Riesz potentials”, published in the Revista Matemática Iberoamericana in 2016.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Um estudo da Blockchain aplicado ao contexto dos dados de pesquisa(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-13) Ouchi, Marcos Teruo; Arakaki, Ana Carolina Simionato; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9896600626524397; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4500649569193100The possibility of scientific discussion is the core of the practical research routine and, for this, researchers must find sufficiently detailed resources and descriptions in the published papers in order to obtain the same results within the enough margins of experimental errors. Among the available resources, the data collected during the research e summing it is essential, because the result obtained should be the product of its rigorous analysis. In this scope and associated with distributed consensus mechanisms, the Blockchain data structure can ensure data reliability in a transparent, decentralized and immutable way, and emerges as a possibility to contribute to the progress of science through new ways of processing large amounts of data collected in a scientific research. In this sense, the general objective of this work is to analyze Blockchain technology and its possibilities inserted in scientific communication and research data management. The specific objectives are to describe the management of research data and the data lifecycle; identify the main concepts, structure and functioning, related to Blockchain technology; and point out Blockchain technology and its potential applications in Science. This is an exploratory and theoretical research of qualitative character. The results present the survey conducted on Scientific Communication and its relationship with Information Science, focusing on the importance of data management and metadata for the description of research datasets, and their impact with Blockchain. It is considered that the moment is premature to affirm that Blockchain or any of the technologies in its surroundings, in its current stages, will solve all problems related to the reproducibility crisis. In the short term Blockchain is likely to be applied to specific points in the flow of scientific research helping to resolve mistrust in the data and methodologies used. Since the applications related to the theme are still in embryonic phases of development, implementation and acceptance, it is not even possible to affirm that their implementations are close to the objectives to which they were designed, thus enabling numerous opportunities for research and developments for Information Science.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Avaliação da qualidade dos serviços de suporte em Tecnologia da Informação em uma Instituição Federal de Ensino Superior(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-13) Farrapo Junior, Antonio Carlos; Mergulhão, Ricardo Coser; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0598720328915137; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9838737131099013The assessment of the information technology service quality provided by private or public organizations to its internal clients is an essential requirement to achieve a competitive advantage. The present study aimed to evaluate the quality of information technology support services in a federal higher education institution (IFES) and to analyze how quality in services, with its dimensions, is related to satisfaction, in the context of IT service management in an IFES. Therefore, a systematic literature review on quality assessment models in IT services was performed, which provided the theoretical basis for operationalizing the SERVQUAL instrument. After the theory articulation, a survey was conducted where the sample was obtained with a respondent rate of 37% of the population of 271 users. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling technique, which supported the refinement of the instrument. The results exposed gaps in the five dimensions of quality during evaluated services. The dimensions of empathy and reliability reached the highest values. It was further observed that the quality of services, with their respective dimensions, positively influences user satisfaction. IT-based SERVQUAL proved to be adequate for assessing the IT support service quality provided by an IFES. Aforementioned allows the instrument to be applied as a reference by other IFES to improve IT service management. Additionally, the research reinforces the existence of a positive relationship between service quality and satisfaction, allowing managers to properly allocate available resources.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Diversidade e potencial biotecnológico da comunidade bacteriana associada ao pinhão-manso (Jatropha curcas L.)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-13) Machado, Paula Cristiane; Sousa, Cristina Paiva de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9002619114161319; Lacava, Paulo Teixeira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8947678349043750; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0670921416899305The present work was developed from four objectives: (1) biochemical characterization of 63 rhizobacteria, associated with Jatropha curcas, as for potential for promoting plant growth and enzyme production; Of these isolates, 27% tested positive for biological nitrogen fixation, 73% produced IAA and 69% solubilized inorganic phosphate. Regarding the antagonism test the rhizospheric isolates showed antagonistic activity with potential for biocontrol of the following phytopathogenic fungi: Alternaria alternata (39%), Colletotrichum sp. (42%), Fusarium oxysporum (30%) and F. profileratum (36%). In vitro enzymatic activity tests revealed that 30% of rhizobacteria showed amylolytic, 19% cellulolytic, 40% sterolytic, 26% lipolytic, 30% pectinolytic and 70% proteolytic activity. Among the 27 bacterial isolates identified by partial sequencing of the 16S gene, the presence of Bacillus genera was observed; Chryseobacterium; Enterobacter; Klebsiella; Pseudomonas; Serratia and Staphylococcus. (2) Characterization and comparison of diversity by metagenomic analysis of the bacterial community of jatropha rhizospheric soil from three treatments: non-irrigated / dryland; drip irrigation and pivot irrigation. Where it was possible to identify in the samples, sequences of Acidobacteria and Chloroflexi phyla, 4 orders (Acidimicrobiales, Chthoniobacterales, Gaiellales and Rhodospirillales), 7 families (Solibacteraceae, Chitinophagaceae, Acidobacteriaceae, Tepidisphaeraceae, Nitrosomonadaceae, Gemmatimonadaceae and Xanthobacteraceae and 8 genera, Acidothermus, Bacillus, Bradyrhizobium, Bryobacter, Reyranella, Sphingomonas, Steroidobacter and Variibacter. There was no significant increase in diversity in any evaluated treatment. However, species richness was increased in the drip and pivot areas when compared to the non-irrigated area. The bacterial groups that differed significantly between pivot irrigated treatment and rainfed treatment are the Bryobacter genus and Filo Chloroflexi. (3) Evaluation of plant growth promotion of maize (Zea mays) in greenhouse when inoculated with bacteria endophytically isolated of Jatropha curcas. These bacteria were considered potentially positive in the previously performed in vitro biochemical characterization in relation to the potential of plant growth promotion of these isolates. It was not possible to prove the ability to promote growth under greenhouse conditions by the transmission of only endophytic bacteria by seeds evaluated in the proposed methodologies. (4) Evaluation of the antagonistic potential of Jatropha-associated bacteria with potential to control the development of three species of Lasiodiplodia subglobosa, L. euphorbicola and L. pseudotheobromae, phytopathogenic to Jatropha. We evaluated 135 bacterial isolates associated with Jatropha curcas as their ability to inhibit the growth of phytopathogens. 36 isolates (26,67%) had good rates of antifungal activity. Eight isolates (5,9 %) were shown to inhibit in vitro growth above 75%. phytopathogen, especially the rhizospheric isolates of the genera Pseudomonas sp. and Bacillus subtillis.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Avaliação do padrão Simple Knowledge Organization System (SKOS) para a representação de vocabulários controlados(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-08-13) Sousa, Janailton Lopes; Ramalho, Rogério Aparecido Sá; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5602653417743793; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0207144049736436Knowledge Organization System (KOS) are information resources representation tools used in Information Science, the KOS background includes the study of the concepts and use of digital technological instruments. The Simple Knowledge Organization System (SKOS) represents this junction between the KOS theoretical foundation and its conceptual frameworks, with the use of digital representation tools, favoring the representation of a traditional KOS in digital environments. However, the increase in controlled vocabulary publications, available in digital environments, points to the need to identify new evaluation procedures for these instruments. In this sense, the general objective of this research is to identify evaluation parameters of the SKOS standard, for the representation of controlled vocabularies. This research is theoretical and methodological, with a qualitative approach and exploratory character, which aims to examine the themes of representation, organization, semantic technologies and vocabulary availability in digital environments. As a result of this research, evaluation parameters are presented that can be applied in SKOS-coded vocabularies, thus serving as a reference source that can assist research in this theme. It is concluded that the difficulty of evaluating controlled vocabularies is still present, in this sense, the use of parameters that can help this process contributes to the advancement of discussions that include this theme in the field of study of the Knowledge Organization.
