(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-10-30) Rapelli, Osni José; ; Salvador, José Antonio; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2487171069472158; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8612937971342684
This work is about the development of environment-related mathematics worksheets to give students a critical view of the world, make them search for solutions to their own communities and, in that process, understand how useful and necessary the mathematical tools are. That is the challenge that this work tries to overcome. Using Mathematical Modeling through analysis on real, serious problems concerning our environment, we introduce mathematical concepts which, through several exercises, take the students to a new thinking and rethinking about the world, perceiving information, making predictions and finding solutions to make life better for them and for their community.

This study aimed to contribute to the understanding ofintegration between Sanitary Surveillanceand Basic Attention, specifically in the Family Health Strategy, in a city in the countryside of São Paulo.Based on the theoretical frameworks on comprehensiveness, health promotion, Primary healthand health surveillance –Sanitary Surveillance-we seek to analyze the practices of Sanitary Surveillancein Basic Attention–specifically in the strategy of family health, through the perceptions of the Community Health Agents, considering the conception of Sanitary Surveillance, the actions and potentialities and weaknesses related to that integration. This study was attended by ten Community Health Agents, belonging to a Family Health Strategyof each territorial region and, as a qualitative research, developed from semi-structured interviews with the mentioned agents, whowork in the Family Health Strategyof the chosen city. The data wastreated based on the thematic content of the interviews through a subsequently ideographic and nomothetictrajectory, and organized into thematic categories, where the general characterization was initially performed and subsequently analyzed and empirically categorized: actions and work routine ofthe agents; the conception of Sanitary Surveillance; the relations between the work of the agentsand the Sanitary Surveillance; Difficulties and facilities for the development of related actions. The findings of the study pointedto the need ofdiscussion regarding issues related to Sanitary Surveillanceand the integrality ofhealth care: understanding about health surveillance; the need to approach Sanitary Surveillancewith Basic Attention. Also questions regarding health surveillance and actions of promotion and prevention of healthcare and other important issues for the interaction of basic attention and Sanitary Surveillance:professionaltraining. Thus, we understand that apparently the perceptions of the Community Health Agents, as well as the practices and actions of Sanitary Surveillancein the context of their actionsin the Family Health Strategy, from the perspective of the integration of actions is an incomplete process and that often theirconception on the Sanitary Surveillancepoint almost exclusively to the regulatory and surveillance issues of Sanitary Surveillanceto the detriment of health promotion and protection actions. However, we identified that the Community Health Agentsperform various actions in the territories related to the actions of the Sanitary Surveillance, but they do not make this correlation. Therefore, it seems essential that this discussion is highlighted in the context of Unified Health System, seeking strategies for greater integration of Sanitary Surveillanceand Basic Attention

(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2019-10-30) Maia, Maria Claudia Zaratini; Bezerra Neto, Luiz; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4809080593333472; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5811576326229195
This thesis deals with the right of the rural population to education, especially the access to higher education in law courses, through the public policy called Pronera - National Program of Education in Agrarian Reform. Pronera It was created by the social movements of the countryside. In 2006, started the first law course through Pronera, at the Federal University of Goiás, with formation of the first class in 2012. In 2013, two new classes began in the State of Bahia. In addition to the three groups mentioned, there are three other Pronera Law classes in progress, one at the Federal University of Paraná, the other at the Federal University of Goiás and the Federal University of South and Southeast Pará. The research analyzes these courses and their impact. in guaranteeing the rights of the rural population, if they have the possibility to train organic professionals to their social classes and if the specificities of the Course can contribute to legal education. To this end, a bibliographic and documentary research and interviews were conducted with the coordinators and students of the courses. The method used was dialectical historical materialism, more suitable for understanding concrete reality. The conclusions are that the courses make possible the access to the Law Course for the rural population, despite the small number of vacancies still offered, and the difficulties still faced, with the pedagogy of alternation and the limitation of resources, which contribute to there is counter-hegemonic legal education, as opposed to traditional legal education, which has the possibility of training organic professionals to their social classes, committed to the realization of rights and social justice.

As estratégias de resistência camponesa do lote Mãe Terra no assentamento Horto Bela Vista de Iperó (SP).

Aristotle's account of sensation starts from two main sense objects that actualize the senses, namely, those proper to each sense and those common to all the senses. Proper as color to sight, sound to hear, and so on; and common are listed as movement, rest, figure, unity and size. Proper and common sensible are held to act on the senses as concomitant (ἀκουλουθουντα) to each other, which means that we cannot see a color without a size, and vice-versa. Since discrimination of sensible differences is putative to a unit of the faculty of perception the clarification of this sensible unit should be able to support the explanation of the discrimination of sensible differences. The first step towards this explanation comes from the joint cause of proper and common sensible. For the second, we must treat of Aristotle's definition of sense in general which says that sense is what has the capacity to receive into itself the sensible forms without the matter. This definition specifies that sensible forms occurs according to a quality (τοιονδί) and a proportion (λόγος). In this way the unity of common and proper sensible would be equivalent to the sensible form received without matter, and hence the foundation of all sensation. Whether and how the clarification of this unity makes it possible to understand discrimination is a more complex matter, since there are two points of view to be discussed: the nature and necessity of a central sense organ and the formal unity necessary for sensitive discrimination. Our hypothesis is that Aristotle's explanation is carried out by taking the proper sensible as a link to a unitary approach of the sense faculty which is the unity for both proper and common sensibles.

The term “judicial activism” has been widely used in the media, well as in the academic papers. It turns out, however, that this is an ambiguous term. Thus, the present work initially sought to find the origins of this expression and to analyze the discourse in which it was used, with the intention of extracting the original meaning of what Judicial Activism would be. It was noticed throughout the study that the author of this expression, Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr., did not intend to create a concept, which turned out to be an effect produced. Despite not intending to create a concept, through the narrative of his text we were able to establish the elements that would characterize Judicial Activism, proposing our concept of Judicial Activism and Self-Containment. From this definition, we proceeded to the study of Judicialization of Politics, with the historical rescue of the expansion of the Judiciary Power, which led, in our opinion, the emergence of this phenomenon. Thus, from the study of the relevant literature, it was possible to extract the various meanings in which this term is used and, based on all these elements, we formulate a concept of Judicialization of Politics, in order to differentiate it from Judicial Activism. Then, we started to study the Politicization of the Judiciary, establishing the various meanings in which this expression can be used, also in order to differentiate them from the other terms. Once the conceptual question was solved, the path through which the studies of Judicial Activism for Law and Political Science went through was established, establishing, in the end, the different trajectories and conceptions of this term for each of the sciences. Finally, the question was answered as to whether Judicial Activism is the poison or the remedy for Democracy.
