Plants have developed several defense strategies against herbivory, one of which is the response of induced defenses that represents the biosynthesis of phytotoxic molecules through attack. Plant resistance mechanisms can be classified according to its interactions with the insect pest as resistance to antibiosis and non-preference. The emission of volatile organic compounds has been studied as one of the communication mechanisms between plants and plants and, also, as a defense response to herbivory. The study of the volatile components of cotton (Gossypium hirsutum) submitted to biotic interactions (herbivory by Spodoptera cosmioides) and abiotic interactions (methyl-jasmonate, α-pinene and water stress) is showed as a strategy in this work to search for knowledge of the response mechanisms. It can be able to collaborate with new proposals and policies for sustainable agricultural management of insect pest control. For this, the volatile metabolomic profile of cotton plants submitted to different biotic and abiotic stresses were evaluated by chromatographic and spectrometric techniques (HS-GC-MS) in comparison with behavioral data from the model insect. It was observed the marked production of the volatile compounds Hexanal, 2-Hexenal, α-Pinene, β-Pinene, β-Mircene, Limonene and Caryophylene after resistance induction, as well as the decrease in the production of β-Ocimene. These results indicate the activation of two main routes for resistance induction: formation of volatile compounds from fresh leaves from the oxidation of the plant membrane, which generate the biosynthesis DE NOVO volatile organic compounds, and the Heliocides biosynthesis route, which act to decrease palatability. of the leaves. The chemical profile of plants with induced resistance was able to significantly repel the action of the Spodoptera cosmioides caterpillar. It was showed, then, that these strategies have great potential for sustainable agricultural management, in addition to providing information that contributes to the knowledge of insect-plant interactions.

(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2020-02-17) Motta, Priscila Canova; Miotello, Valdemir; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9131819326282708; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1214486305511171
Our aim with this research is to discuss issues related to education and especially to non-formal education based on the discursive manifestations of the educators of the Sesc São Carlos Children and Youth Sector Programs. We propose to carry out a dialogue with the speeches of seven educators from the Curumim Programs, Espaço de Brincar e Juventudes from the Childhood and Youth sector of Sesc São Carlos and analyze the statements of the discursive manifestations of these educators and the ways of producing meaning about being an educator and their pedagogical practices in the context of non-formal education. We chose to carry out this research with the theoretical framework of the Circle of Bakhtin. We also held a conversation with the theoretical framework of some researchers on education, such as Paulo Freire, Moacyr Gadotti and Rubem Alves and on non-formal education from some researchers and scholars in the area (COOMBS, TRILLA, CARNOY, DANTAS, GARCIA, GHANEM, GOHN, TORRES, NOGUEIRA, PARK) to better understand the experience of Sesc SP's Childhood and Youth Sector Programs.

Climate events that represent risks to communities in general are becoming more frequent and arise due to the daily, seasonal and year-to-year variability of the climate as well as from regional climatic differences. The Science of Climate Change studies models in order to ensure prediction of effects and impacts with precision. This work aimed to evaluate the behavior of climatic variables, air temperature and solar irradiation, in five municipalities located in the state of Maranhão and to present a long-term forecast model (one year ahead) of these variables using the Artificial Neural Networks intelligent model. Samples of five automatic meteorological stations were collected from INMET for the historical series from 2008 to 2019 and, to reach a consistent database, the processes of data cleaning and feature selection were performed to assemble the information database for the chosen ANN model. The databases of each municipality were subdivided by seasonal period so that the temporal forecast for the same period could be carried out one year ahead. The metrics for evaluating the forecasts were: Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Absolute Relative Error (RAE) and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). The climatic variables used for the development of the method were Maximum Temperature (ºC), Relative Air Humidity (%), Minimum Temperature (ºC), Dew Point Temperature (ºC), Wind Speed (m/s), Maximum Gust Wind (m/s), Wind Direction (degrees), Precipitation (mm) and Atmospheric Pressure of the Station (mBar) in addition to the variables Solar Irradiation (kJ/m²) and Air Temperature (ºC) that were being predicted. The collected data were divided into 80% for training and 20% for testing. The results of the Solar Irradiation forecast models were MAE = 0.062 kJ/m², RAE = 0.00005 kJ/m² and RMSE = 0.0002 kJ/m². Values for Air Temperature forecast metrics are MAE = 0.4737 ºC, RAE = 0.0003 ºC and RMSE = 0.0025 ºC. The most consistent bases for the calculation of MAE and RAE were the winter of the municipalities of Imperatriz and Turiaçu, while for the RMSE, the best results were obtained using the spring period database of the municipalities of Caxias and Imperatriz.

Main goal: Analyze Social Representations (SR) of dengue from digital comments of participants of the Brazilian Ministry of Health (MH) fanpage. Methodology: Online documentary research with a qualitative approach. The collection period was from December 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019, after approval by CEP / UFSCar. The work was divided into 3 stages, according to the specific goals. Step 1: analyze the users' manifestations with the contents using “like”, “comment” and “share” options, by creating a plan on Microsoft Excel in order to collect data from Facebook, Instagram and Twitter websites. Step 2: Analyze the information spread by the Ministry of Health on dengue throughout the three social networks. For the analysis of the thematic content, data were collected from 132 contents published by the Ministry of Health on dengue in the 3 social networks already mentioned. Step 3: Analyze the comments on dengue from participants in the social networks of the MH. 433 digital comments were collected on Facebook (general profile and combating dengue). The information from steps 2 and 3 was transcribed in two different Microsoft Word files and data treated separately on the IRAMUTEQ software. We use CHD for lexical analysis and class construction. Results: Stage 1: The same publication of signs and symptoms of the disease was the most “liked” on both Facebook and Twitter profiles. On step 2, corpus originated three classes: "Fighting the mosquito at home", "Arboviroses and their similarities" and "Prevention actions of the Aedes aegypti vector". On step 3, the corpus was also divided into 3 classes: “The mosquito is the problem, but it is the other's fault”, “Dengue is horrible: it causes pain and can lead to death” and “Care for dengue patients ”. The classes of steps 2 and 3 were analyzed separately, qualitatively, through the technique of thematic content analysis, in order to identify which is the main idea / object disclosed by the Ministry of Health and which are the SR of individuals in relation to dengue. Discussion: The publications are repeated, both on the same platform (Facebook, “general” and “combating dengue” profile) and on other social networks. It is on the specific profile that users interact most with the posts, including giving them more visibility (“sharing”). The communication model used is the informational one, without the participation of the population and consequently they do not change practices. Publications focus on the adult mosquito and the expression “combat”, the most used word, limiting actions to eliminating the vector. The main idea on the Ministry of Health publications, is focused on general mosquito prevention care and it differs from the SR of digital profiles, because for them “the mosquito is the problem, but the fault is the other's. It's horrible, it causes pain and death and needs care. Therefore, other sources of information, interactions between individuals, as well as situations experienced by them, may be contributing to this. This social representation will lead attitudes and behaviors of this social group when facing the disease: an attitude of passivity, not feeling co-responsible for control, despite the fear of contracting the disease. Final considerations: We suggest the word control, as it expands actions for better life conditions and encourages popular participation. Despite the informational communication model, we emphasize the importance of Facebook “fighting dengue”, due to its ability to disseminate information. Only information does not change attitudes, but this, when read and shared by groups, can interfere with SR. The wide communication, of different information, can provide the construction of emancipatory social representations and not only the reification of the representations that already exist.

Aquisição de comportamentos simbólicos por bebês
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2020-02-17) Roncato, Graziele de Aguiar; Gil, Maria Stella Coutinho de Alcântara; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1673770301699940; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5474561962677267
Behavior Analysis as behavioral study language and classification like behavior processes according to the Stimulus Control area. However, the mode and prerequisites for symbolic responses are not fully established. Hence, the importance of studying babies who are starting to learn the verbal repertoire and have a short history of reinforcement. Thus, this work aim to investigate language acquisition by young children, more specifically, to observe contingencies Response – Consequence, with the management of consequences given to children's vocalizations and to investigate the handling of antecedent stimuli for purchase a verbal / symbolic response. We propose three studies. The first study investigated the effect that imitation and directed speech on the frequency of babies' vocalizations. Ten babies aged up to 13 months participated in the study and the collection took place in six sessions, three with conditions of imitation of the adult to the baby's vocalizations and three with conditions of speech directed from the adult to the baby's vocalizations. As a result, both contingent conditions (imitation and speech) function as reinforcers for babies' vocalizations. The second study investigated, through a systematic review, the procedures and results of the last 30 years of research on the establishment of equivalent stimulus classes in babies up to 36 months. As a result, we found15 articles; in 14, there were reports of emergence of stimulus classes. Finally, the third study investigated the acquisition of equivalent stimulus classes by babies up to 24 months. For this purpose, a procedure was proposed with auditory-visual baseline teaching (AB and AC) and naming, transitivity (BC), equivalence (CB) tests and to verify whether the specific consequence would be part of the class. Three of five participants had performance that indicates emergence of classes; one of them did not name the visual stimuli. Two participants did not show class emergence, even one naming the stimuli. The results suggest that the contingent responses from verbal community, with different responses topographies, acts as a reinforcer to increase the frequency of children's vocal responses, prerequisites for future verbal behaviors; and babies up to 24 months of age are able to emit responses symbolic, even without naming.

This research, based on the critical theory of society, aims to identify the determinants of barbarism condition lived by contemporary society, which is characterized by high rate of technological development, manly in digital forms, and it is pronounced by ubiquity of so-called social networks whose role of agent in social conflicts it is increasingly stated. From the data elaborated by researchers of Warwick University (UK), that indicates a positive correlation between Facebook usage and increasing of anti-refuges attacks on Germany, this research proposes do establish a reference to understand the logic of how networks work and what is its place in social dynamics ,in order to identify its previous development and the possible effects of its increasing insertion and use. As a way to overcome the discussion about the use or intrinsic value of social networks, the criticism of rationality present in the concept of the dialectic of enlightenment is pointed as a direction. From the impossibility of individual formation in a social organization guided by barbarism which denies the human being the necessary conditions for its constitution, elements of the work of Theodor W. Adorno, Max Horkheimer and Herbert Marcuse are resumed to identify the determinants in the formation process proper to the so-called global culture industry. We seek to understand the relationship between the progression of barbarism and the imprisonment of the individual in a deformation, research that is guided by the hypothesis of an ongoing forgetfulness in the social reality organization and in which chosen principles are depart from defending what would be a righteous humanity using constantly updated mechanisms. In this perspective, the current social order it is characterized by the contradiction observed between the maintenance of oblivion and forms that otherwise announce the promise of non-forgetting, deeply connected to the processing capacity of technologies increasingly inserted in the lives of individuals. Given that social networks reorganize today's culture from the alignment between technological rationality and the strengthening of the instrumental dimension of individuality, reflects on how formation should be considered in order to maintain the principle of emancipation as a horizon. Reflection that starts from the need to think about ways of resistance to conditions of barbarism that appropriate and set in motion the ordering social forces of human life and imposes on education the need to reaffirm its purposes and means, in order to function as the place of fulfillment of the individual.

The biodiversity is directly or indirectly affected by chances in systems ecological systems, which modify the composition, distribution and interaction between species. Developing methods to evaluate the consequences of the impact related to such changes, is necessary. Non-invasive sampling methods associated with molecular and landscape analyses allows us to identify and obtain information about wild animals that may suffer the consequences of new environmental. In the context, we investigated the selection and preferential use of the habitat by carnivorous and artiodactyls at a conservation unit of integral protection, as well as analyze the relationship between species living in this park, the Itatiaia National Park (PNI). Between June/2017 and April/2018 samples (feces) with compatible morphology of carnivorous and artiodactyls were collected and its geographic coordinate was recorded using a GPS device. These samples was evaluated through molecular identification, sequencing a fragment of the gene 12S and ATP6 for carnivorous and COI for artiodactyls. We identified 175 of 244 samples collected, the species found: C. brachyurus (38,5%), L. guttulus (21,3%), C. familiaris (5,73%), C. thous (1,22%) e S. scrofa (4,91%). The following variables were analyzed: land use and cover; digital elevation model; slope and Euclidean distances from water bodies and from the nearest buildings, to develop the landscape analysis. The relationship of landscape and topographic variables with less sampled species was performed descriptively while for species widely sampled (more than 50 samples) logistic regression was used. Considering that a sample can only belong to one species and using model selection Akaike Method, Backward method and biological sense for validation. Samples of Chrysocyon brachyurus and Leopardus guttulus have a wide distribution in the PNI, totalizing 59,7% of the identified samples, meanwhile Cerdocyon thous, Canis lupus familiaris and Sus scrofa were sampled at specific locations. The preferred habitat of C. brachyurus and L. guttulus depends on altitude and land use and land cover. Higher altitudes represent a bigger probability to find the species C. brachyurus, with higher frequency in regions of grassland formation. Although the occurrence of L. guttulus being related with lower altitudes, we found samples of this species at altitudes of 2544 meters, the highest found to date. L. guttullus shows a highter frequency in forest formations. There is a correlation between the two variables in question, however, this relationship is not strong enough to influence the estimates of the model parameters, justifying the use of both variables. The artiodactyls samples were found only in mosaic of agriculture and pasture, but traces were seen in others areas of PNI. Non-invasive sampling complemented with molecular tools are efficient for the detection of species with elusive behaviors such as C. brachyurus and L. guttulus. Landscape analysis evidenced that these animals have preferential habitats within the PNI.

The “problem of drugs” has been understood as a complex phenomenon involving different aspects, especially the social situation. One of the strategies that has been debated is the understanding of the issues involving drugs in reference to social support networks. This knowledge is important for improving care for who uses drug in a prejudicial way related to health and social services. The social support networks are the dimensions that compose the social integration of someone, with emphasis on work relationships and sociability, primary and secondary, including social services. Based on this perspective, the objective of this study is to investigate, from the point of view of who uses drugs, how social support networks are organized and structured and what are the main elements that constitute them. Making use of the theoretical-methodological from the social occupational therapy, as well as the social understanding about drugs, a study was conducted in a Psychosocial Care Center - Alcohol and other Drugs (CAPS ad) for the period of six months. The study was conducted on the basis of observation, interviews and group activities, associated with the field diary containing all the data collected. It was identified that the social support networks from people who use drugs are composed of different elements. The informal dimension is made up of family, church, and work, including the relationships established in each location. In the formal context, the emphasis was social institutions, primarily to CAPS ad. However, for the most part, few supports are presented to contribute to an effective inclusion and participation in their social life, besides the lack of successful social policies. The consequences are people who use drugs in the path of marginalization and receiving insufficient social supports, including from public services that should guarantee the mediation to their rights. It was verified that it is necessary to have social services that offers different support for people who use drugs, expanding their social networks; helping them to have lasting relationships; considering their subjectivities and different care demands; supporting on the mediation by health professionals. In conclusion, the purpose of this study is to defend occupational therapy as a professional with abilities to contribute to the care process.

This study seeks to contribute to the analysis of famele speech discurses. It is a proposal aimed at understanding the voice of domestic workers and their representatives in The Union of Domestic Workes of Ribeirão Preto. Based on the Analysis of the French Discurses, under the guiance of the studeis of Michel Foucault and Michel Pêcheux, this work can apreehed discursies that materialized in the speech about a work performed, mostely, by woman and historicaly unequal in rights. The object of this research was carried out using an audio e video recording of workers statments but also their representative and his lawyer at the Union of Domestic Workes of Ribeirão Preto. The analysis proposed by this reserch seeks answer to the following questions: what do the domestic workes say in the meetins of indication? Your ways wrong or not in relation to the speech of the members presente at the meeting? What are the language resousers used by them? The survery and analysis of the data should creat an understanding of how a series of historycal and social representetion is respected in domestic work. It will also be possible to apreehed the uses of languege in the internal public space, or to indicate what the objective should be the defenses of rights. In addition, we can identify which are the discursive marks that materialize as precarius conditions of this category of work. Finally, based on our analysis of these speeches we can desmontrate that, when necessary, employment and daily life are not affected by workers and the negative frequency of such symbolic capacity, these workers khow how to speak and use or say.

We consider the accessibility percolation model on the n-ary tree height the _nite h. The model is de_ned by associating a continuous random variable X_v for each vertex v in the tree. The main issue to consider and study is whether or not there is a nearest neighbor path v_1; v_2; ... ; v_n connecting the root to the tree boundary, such that X_v1 < X_v2< ... < X_vn. The event de_ned by the existence of this path is called the accessible percolation. In this paper we study the probability of the accessible percolation event. when n is given by n(h) = α(h)h where h is the height of the tree and α(h) is constant. Results are obtained by making h →∞. Additionally, we will discuss other recent results in the literature.

Rapid population growth in the last decades and consequent accelerated urbanization have led to new urban problems that societies had not faced in the past centuries. Thus, the sustainable development of cities is compromised as a consequence of failure to meet the needs that arise. In this context, the smart cities emerged and, based on artificial intelligence, digital resources and communication technologies are proving themselves as a natural strategy to mitigate these problems. Among many areas served by a smart city, smart grids have gained focus, as global energy needs will grow by 30% until 2040. In addition, governments and society demand a solid insertion of renewable sources in order to guarantee the sustainability. The photovoltaic matrix is one of the renewable sources that fits this demand. The Brazilian government estimates that, until 2050, 13% of all residences in the national territory should be supplied by energy from photovoltaic production. However, its insertion is challenged by intermittent production, since the panels generate energy basically from Global Horizontal Irradiance, which is not uniform over time. Thus, an accurate forecast is beneficial because it reduces the costs and uncertainties besides avoiding annoyances due to the deviation between forecast and consumption. With the intention of predicting Global Horizontal Irradiance in the next hour (h + 1) on the campus of the Federal University of São Carlos, located in Araras- SP, it was used Artificial Neural Networks. A Multilayer Percetron architecture with Levenberg-Marquardt training algorithm was used, considering one and two hidden layers. The best results, in terms of the Root Mean Square Error (nRMSE) ranged from 5.9% to 6.8%. The data used as input signals to obtain these results were global horizontal irradiance, mean temperature and average wind speed. The prediction was accurate when compared to the literature.

Michel Foucault characterizes sexuality as a device of power, which has been utilized throughout the history of mankind for the maintenance of privileges. Since the nineteenth century, this device finds in medical practice one of its principal mechanisms. Medical education tends to endorse heteronormative discourse and diagnose deviant behavior as pathologies. Concerning gender, it promotes a binary portrayal of individuals, most often assuming heterosexuality. The medical school at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) uses the constructivist spiral as an educational methodology, which, like other active methodologies, guarantees student protagonism and stimulates interchange with their previous world knowledge. This methodology relies on the concept of Meaningful Learning. The aim of this study was to understand, following the students' perspective, how a competency profile related to gender and sexuality is developed at the medical school at UFSCar. The data was gathered through focus groups, and was analyzed with the use of the meaning interpretation method. The results show that there is a positive, though indirect, influence from the use of Active Methodologies, especially if we contrast them with more traditional methodologies. There is also evidence of a lack of preparation by professors of the area in regard to gender/sexuality issues. In additional discussion, we address the Curriculum and Extra-curricular activities that influence the acquisition of competencies by improving or hindering it. In this regard, we propose a new concept: the "Marginal Curriculum". In conclusion, we recognize that active methodologies of education figure as a counter-hegemonic strategy in face of the maintenance of biopower through sexuality, and propose new applicable ways in the reorientation of the curriculum´s contents.

Mathematical modeling of macrophyte growth is a predictive tool that can be useful, for example, for planning plant population management strategies. In this study, a kinetic model was used to evaluate the growth of submerged aquatic macrophyte Egeria densa under laboratory conditions that simulated temperature and turbidity conditions. Thus, the growth of E. densa was evaluated under two temperatures (25 and 27 °C) and different conditions of turbidity (0%, 18.5%, 37% and 55.5%),with four types of soil:(i) Gleissolo Haplic Eutrophic, (ii) Dystrophic Red Latosol, (iii) Red Latosol Dystrophic and (iv) Quartzarenic Neosols. The experiments were conducted for 60 days. The plants were cultivated under controlled conditions (12-hour photoperiod, radiation intensity of 4.31x10-3μmol mon-1 cm-2) in borosilicate containers in germination chambers. Bioassays were randomly allocated to maintain uniform radiation. To determine the growth of the individuals of Egeria densa, the size of the plants was evaluated, and every four days, electrical conductivity, pH, and turbidity were measured. The temporal variation of the accumulated lengths of E. densa was fitted to a logistic model to estimate the duplication time and Q10 were estimated. In general, it was found that the increase in temperature (p < 0.05) for the different types of soils contributed significantly to the increase in accumulated growth, biomass increase, and on the number of branches and roots of E. densa. Turbidity was related to a shorter accumulated length, except for dystrophic Red Latosol, in which the augment in turbidity caused an increase to the accumulated length. As for the composition of the soils, it was found that nitrogen tended to decrease accumulated growth and potassium contributed to the increase in growth, while phosphorus (p-value> 0.05) was not statistically significant. It was concluded that the temperature increases at 2°C was the predominant factor that contributed most to creased growth of E. densa, potentiating its invasion and proliferation in aquatic environments.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurological disorder characterized by the successive decrease of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra. This dysfunction generates a movement disorder, characterized mainly by: tremor at rest, muscle stiffness, bradykinesia and postural instability. Manual function is one skillcompromised in PD and can cause significant impairment in the daily life activities. The performance of these activities can be improved by Assistive Technology (TA) resources, however some aspects such as satisfaction must be considered. Therefore, the aim of this study was to assess the satisfaction level of low-cost ATy devices for ADLs and their influence on functional independence and quality of life in individuals with Parkinson's disease. Methods: 18 individuals initially screened were assessed at baseline using the MIF scale (measure of functional independence) and the Parkinson's Disease Questionnaire (PDQ-39). Then, individuals were randomly allocated tothe Assistive Technology intervention group (GTA) and the Control group (CG). GTA participants received a low-cost device kit, training anduse instructions. The CG received only oral orientations on ADLs.15 days after there was a follow-up telephone contact for both groups, and after 30 days, the individuals were reassessed with the MIF, PDQ-39 and BQUEST-2.0. The statistical analyzes were processed using the IBM SPSS® Statistics software. Shapiro – Wilk, student t-test and Wilcoxon - Mann Whitney were used. Results: Individuals with PD showed a high level of satisfaction at BQUEST with the use of AT devices, however the use of AT devices did not promote any change in the functional independence or quality of life of individuals with Parkinson's disease, one month after their use

This doctoral thesis aims to understand what is the impact of preventive socialization on egalitarian models of masculinity, in opposition to violent actions, based on the dialogical practices of the “Clube de Valentes” and on the valorization of solidarity and friendship. This study aims to provide elements to think about the prevention of violence against women from the practice of Brave Club - practice is aimed at rejecting violence through strengthening friendships. To achieve this goal, it was proposed to analyze in a child education class with which the Brave Club in Brazil develops, the changes that have occurred in boys as to their behaviors, observing those that come closest to alternative masculinity, as well as the transformations occurred in the girls understanding of who the brave boys are and who is worth being friends with. As specific objectives we had in the study: to understand in which masculinity model the boys of the class are initially being socialized; analyze the interactions and behaviors that occur in the class and that are transformative socializations, that lead to equality, friendship and solidarity, and those that exclude, that humiliate and subject girls and boys to someone; to analyze together with the teacher and the children, what transforming elements were made possible through the club of the brave in the preventive socialization of gender violence and that promoted the valorization of models of egalitarian masculinities in the studied context. Based on these objectives, a room for early childhood education with 5-year-olds was analyzed the only room that hosts the Brave Club in Brazil. To carry out the data collection and analysis, the communicative methodology was used, which has as premise the dialogue between all involved in the research, as well as analyzing the elements that prevent the transformation - excluding - and the elements that promote the transformation - transformers. Based on this methodology, communicative groups were interviewed and communicated with communicative life with family and teacher, and communicative observations of the class. The data were triangulated and organized into categories: socializing in the room, brave club, good friendships, conflict resolution and masculinity. Data analysis indicated that the exclusionary dimensions were: isolation from practice at school, lack of boys, socialization of boys, models, and categorization of children. The transformers were: teacher training, denouncing the model based on violence, conflict / dialogue resolution, good friendships and participatory family members. Considering these elements, it was possible to visualize the impact of the brave club on the lives of children, promoting a more egalitarian model of masculinity among boys, as it started to value equality, respect and solidarity in relationships between friends. And the girls changed their perception of what characteristics they value in good friendships. Therefore, socialization for prevention was promoted, since violence and aggression started to be no longer admired as elements of masculinity.

With the increase in educational policies for school inclusion, the number of students with disabilities in Brazilian high school has been growing, which heightens the demands for actions geared to these students. Thus, the problem of this study arose after reflections on which pedagogical actions would be used to ensure, in addition to access, the participation and learning of students with disabilities in high school. Within this scope, a study was carried out to investigate the norms for school inclusion in Federal Institutes of Education Science and Technology (FIs) related to Special Education, focusing on Individualized Educational Planning (IEP). The general objective of the study was to analyse the regulatory documents for school inclusion and the IEP of students with disabilities in IFs; the following specific objectives were listed: identify the guidelines adopted by the Service Centres for People with Specific Needs for Special Education (in Portuguese, NAPNEs); characterize NAPNEs based on their operating resolutions; identify, describe and analyse the planning proposals for students with disabilities in the context of NAPNEs. The study consisted of exploratory field research, the results were categorized and discussed through document analysis. Data collection was carried out by searching the official websites of 38 institutions and by exchanging e-mails with professionals from the centres. The search resulted in the analysis of 105 documents, including: general regulations for Special Education (27), NAPNE resolutions (36) and documents used for planning (42). The results showed the existence of few general regulations for Special Education and a diverse understanding about the functioning of NAPNE, in addition to few specific IEP documents. The analysed documents included forms that were not directly related to the IEP, in addition to 19 documents that addressed topics of individualized educational planning. An analysis was carried out on the concept of IEP and its elaboration in NAPNEs. Data on the identification of students with disabilities were analysed, which included personal information of the student and his family with questions about health conditions and previous and current institutional information. The planning stages involved: an evaluation for eligibility of the IEP and for the identification of the student's entrance repertoire, meetings for the preparation and authorization of the document, implementation of the action plan and the teaching and learning evaluation process, in addition to the review of the IEP and preparation of the transition plan. Gaps were identified regarding the authorization and guarantee of effective participation of students with disabilities and his family in the elaboration of the IEP; in addition to the absence of a transition plan stage in the analysed documents. The need to build IEPs in a collective manner and in a collaborative regime involving the student, their family members and other professionals was pointed out, and that this planning be done based on evaluative protocols for the creation of measurable goals and necessary support for the teaching and learning of students with disabilities. We conclude by acknowledging the action and dedication of NAPNEs professionals and emphasizing the importance of establishing effective policies for Special Education in the FIs.

Synthesis of N-heterocycles and building blocks using multicomponent, photochemical and electrochemical approaches
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2020-02-17) Bartolomeu, Aloisio de Andrade; Oliveira, Kleber Thiago de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3759761373942891; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1673141193455660
Multicomponent reactions and protocols mediated by light and electrochemistry are powerful tools for modern organic synthesis. Moreover, they obey several principles of green chemistry such as atom economy, catalysis, waste reduction, energy efficiency, mild reaction conditions, etc. Therefore, the development of new synthetic methodologies employing these powerful tools is highly desirable and challenging. Chapter 1 describes the efficiency of NbCl5 for the promotion of MCRs between 4-formylphthalonitrile, anilines, and phenylacetylenes through a pericyclic hetero-Diels-Alder process. This multicomponent approach exhibited a wide substrate scope and, to demonstrate the versatility of the phthalonitrile library, we synthesized and characterized three new phthalocyanine derivatives. Chapter 2 covers a metal-free methodology for the photoarylation of pyridines and other heterocycles (such as quinoline and quinoxaline) with aryldiazonium salts in water using a homemade photoreactor. This photochemical approach displayed a broad scope regarding the diazonium salt component and further mechanistic investigations support a mechanism through an EDA complex. Finally, chapter 3 outlines the synthesis of sulfonyl fluorides through electrochemical oxidative coupling of thiols and potassium fluoride. This approach also showed a wide substrate scope, including a variety of alkyl, benzyl, aryl, and heteroaryl thiols or disulfides. Furthermore, kinetic and other additional studies were performed in an attempt to clarify the mechanism of this electrochemical reaction.

This research, linked to the PPGEd of UFSCar - Sorocaba campus, developed with the support of the Center for Studies and Research on Educational Narratives, Training and Teaching Work (NEPEN), has the general objective of developing a descriptive analytical study with the perspective of identifying which are the themes presented as an object of research by the master students of the Postgraduate Studies in Education Program: Training of Trainers (Formep) at PUC-SP. Based on the final works produced in this program, we seek to answer the following research question: What does the research carried out at Formep on the training of trainers show us? The research has as a methodological path the State of the Art, with theoretical support in Romanowski and Ens (2006) and Megid Neto and Carvalho (2018). The corpus of analysis consists of 116 final works defended between the years 2015 to 2018 in the research line mentioned above. To speak of the trainer, the theoretical support is based on Imbernón (2010), Prada (2007), Vaillant (s / d) and Marcelo García (1999a). As a result, the theoretical references that most appeared in the final works, in quantitative terms, were: Francisco Imbernón, Marcelo García, António Nóvoa and Maurice Tardif. Regarding the researched theme, it is quite diversified, with emphasis on coordination, pedagogy, training, continuing education and teaching, which were quite recurrent terms in the works.

Animation cinema is increasingly consolidating itself as a booming market in which blockbuster and box office success ensures the continuation of various narratives, adding new adventures and characters to the original plots. Looking at the animations produced in the first decade of the 21st century we identified a male hegemony, data that contrasts with the later decade whose female protagonism is gaining more space and representativeness. The objective of our work is to identify and analyze from female characters absent from the originals, the insertion and trajectory of the feminine during the film sequences, seeking to understand from which images and discourses the feminine is constructed. For our study, we chose three animations sequences: Ice Age (Blue Sky Studios, 2002, 2006, 2009, 2012 and 2016); Despicable Me (Universal Pictures / Illumination Entertainment, 2010, 2013 and 2017) and How to Train Your Dragon (DreamWorks Animation, 2010, 2014 and 2019). We seek theoretical support in Cultural Studies, Feminist and Gender Studies, as well as the theorizations of Michel Foucault. Our working hypothesis is that despite the existence of normative discourses that naturalize stereotyped images and practices around female gender and sexual identities, the elected corpus embraces a moment of transition. At the end of the analysis, it was possible to see that alongside the reiteration of certain traditional representations, others arise, pointing to new ways of understanding and representing the feminine.
