To prove the results, analyzes were also performed with K562 cells culture stimulated for erythroid differentiation in the presence and absence of HU. Our results show decrease in the expression of MSN in individuals with the disease, which can be justified by the increase in cell adhesion in this group. The data obtained also suggest that treatment with HU induces the expression of PBXIPI and inhibits SNCA. The PBXIPI activation would assist in stimulating the differentiation and proliferation of hematopoietic cells, while the decrease in the content of SNCA may be associated with the reduction of inflammatory processes, which is an effect of great importance in worsening the disease. For the ATF4 gene, associated with oxidative stress and neovascularization, we expected that treatment with hydroxyurea would lead to a reduction in expression, however, we did not obtain a statistically significant difference in the comparison between groups. Finally, we suggest that the increase in oxidative stress by adding H2O2 to the culture medium also influences the expression of our genes and affects the potential effect of hydroxyurea.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Alienação parental: revisão sistemática de estudos documentais e análise da aplicação do conceito em sentenças judiciais(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2020-03-06) Oliveira, Ricardo Pereira da Silva; D'Affonseca, Sabrina Mazo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0381029115416584; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3904654445289766The phenomenon of Parental Alienation (PA) has been identified more frequently in the context of child custody disputes by parents in courts of law, especially after the enactment of Law no. 12,318 (2010) (Parental Alienation Law). In this context, this dissertation sought to understand how the judicial system has evaluated and responded to suspected cases of PA. For this purpose, two studies were carried out, the first with the objective of conducting a systematic review of national and international documentary studies with judicial samples involving AP and the second with the objective of analyzing judicial sentences of Family Courts of the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo (TJSP) with charges of AP. The systematic review was carried out following the guidelines of the PRISMA protocol. The keywords "parental alienation" and "parental alienation", were searched in 4 databases. The book collection of the Laboratory for Analysis and Prevention of Violence was also consulted. Six studies were selected, of which 4 were Brazilian, 1 Canadian and 1 Italian, demonstrating that there are still few studies on AP that use samples of judicial origin. The revised literature indicates that the justice system has based most of its decisions on PA cases in the conclusions of psychological reports produced by court experts. However, the reviewed studies identified deficiencies in the psychological assessments of suspected PA. The documentary study, on the other hand, carried out a search in an electronic tool for accessing TJSP information, resulting in 217 sentences that mentioned the term “parental alienation” between 2010 and 2019. 128 sentences were selected for analysis. Among the results, the participation of expert psychologists stands out for the outcome of the process, since their reports served as a basis for 75% of the sentences, with the magistrates showing confidence in their conclusions, which calls attention to the psychologists’ responsibility for the protection of children involved in marital litigation. Most of the accused parents of AP were female guardians. Only in 19 sentences was someone declared alienator, usually women. They were also the target of false accusations more frequently than men, indicating that PA accusations were generally used as an instrument of gender-based violence. From the analysis performed, it was possible to describe an overview of how PA cases are analyzed, substantiated and judged in the State of São Paulo. Finally, the present dissertation allows us to understand how the evaluation and judgment of PA accusations takes place. The results found were similar to those of other researches in the area, indicating trends that overcome cultural barriers. It should be noted that the assessment of the occurrence of PA proved to be complex and challenging, requiring a strong professional commitment from the technicians and magistrates involved, considering that the family dynamics are diverse, deserving an individualized assessment of each litigation so as to contemplate its particularities at the same time that privileges the rights of the children involved.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Compreendendo a reação ‘step-wise’ de conversão de metano a metanol usando zeólitas trocadas ionicamente com cobre(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2020-03-06) Mizuno, Stefanie Caroline Mayumi; Bueno, José Maria Corrêa; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0157452280626031; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0805524022565035Methane (CH4) is a stable molecule abundantly found on our planet with reserves even greater than crude oil. Due to its high availability and environmental impacts caused by its emission into the atmosphere, the development of processes for its conversion into high value-added products is highly desired. Direct conversion of CH4 to methanol is advantageous as this process converts CH4 at low temperatures (<300 ° C) through the step-wise methane to methanol direct conversion (MMet). Intense scientific studies have been conducted on this reaction and all of them converged to the use of metal ionexchanged zeolites, especially copper. Although CH4 is easily activated on these materials, controlling methane total oxidation to COx is still a challenge and a limiting for methanol yield. In addition, only a fraction of Cu species actually participates in the reaction, which means that methanol yield is also limited to this factor. Since different Cu structures can be formed in zeolites by copper exchanged method, such as [Cu3 (μ-O)3]2+, [Cu2 (μ-O) 2]2+, [Cu2 (μ-O)]2+, and CuO, there are still fundamental questions to be answered for a better understanding of this reaction, such as the effect of zeolite structure on the formation of Cu species and how to maximize its participation in the reaction. We herein carried out a careful study of different copper-exchanged zeolite materials varying several synthesis/reaction parameters and related the activity to the structure of the Cu species. Our results suggested that high Cu content and low Si/Al ratio were unfavorable and the counter ion affects the performance of mazzite zeolite on MMet reaction. Therefore, sequencing and assembling the genome might contribute to the conservation of genetic diversity and maintenance of natural populations, besides assisting the comprehension of the success of future populations. Therefore, the objectives are to assemble the genome of Bertholletia excelsa, compare different assembly methodologies, and define the methodology that results in the best quality. The methodology consisted in sequencing DNA samples from an adult individual of Bertholletia excelsa with Pacific Biosciences is Single Molecule Real Time. This step resulted in a genomic coverage of 187× and a N50 of raw reads of 14,02 kb. Following up, the haploid genome size was estimated from k-mer distribution (k=22), resulting in ~596Mpb. Subsequently, there were tested five assemblers (wtdbg2, MECAT2, SMARTdenovo, Flye and Canu) with six genomic coverages (47×, 63×, 97×, 126×, 187× and 60× with corrected reads by Canu). QUAST was used to compare the efficiency of these methods through the following parameters: contig N50, number of contigs, L50 and assembly size in relation to genome size estimative. BUSCO was used to determine the genomic completeness. The LAI score validated its quality, considering the contiguity and integrity of repetitive sequences. The first problem is associated with increased industrial and agricultural activity, which releases contaminated effluents into aquatic bodies. CO2 is one of the main responsible for the Greenhouse Effect, however, it is essential for life, participating in the photosynthesis process. Due to CO2 excess, decomposition methods or possible uses are necessary. Heterogeneous Photocatalysis (HF) using nanostructured semiconductors as heterostructures are a great option for the degradation of contaminants in aqueous media and to CO2 conversion. As an alternative to TiO2, which has high recombination rate and of being excited only with radiation from the ultraviolet region, heterostructures have the potential for application in HF processes, both for oxidative and reduction process. Based on the above, this work aimed at the synthesis of TiO2/BiVO4 heterostructures for application in HF. As a way to obtain greater control of the synthesis, these synthesized by “Building Blocks”, using the crystallized components as heterostructures precursors. It was studied the TiO2/BiVO4 system with different proportions in order to find the best Ti: Bi ratio to increase efficiency and selectivity. These heterostructures were characterized by X-Ray Diffractometry (XRD), Scanning and Transmission Electron Microscopy (SEM and MET), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Diffuse Reflection Spectroscopy (DRS) and N2 adsorption at low temperatures (BET method). The photodegradation of Methylene Blue dye in water using UV radiation and photoreduction of CO2 in the gas phase using visible radiation it was applied for these materials. The results showed that heterostructures were more efficient than isolated materials, an indication of their formation. We observed that bilateral microinjection of the selective CRF1 antagonist CP376395 into BNST reduced the reflex bradycardia without affecting the tachycardia. Conversely the BNST treatment with antisauvagine-30 decreased heart rate response during medial arterial pressure drop without affecting the reflex bradycardia. These findings provide evidence of an involvement of CRF neurotransmission within BNST in baroreflex activity. Secondly, we assessed the interaction of CRF neurotransmission within BNST with local nitrergic signaling, as well as to investigate an involvement of activation of local NMDA glutamate receptor and nitric oxide (NO) signaling in control of cardiovascular responses to acute restraint stress by BNST CRF neurotransmission in rats. We observed that CRF microinjection into the BNST increased local NO release during restraint stress. Furthermore, bilateral microinjection of CRF into the BNST enhanced both the arterial pressure and heart rate increases evoked by restraint stress, but without affecting the sympathetically-mediated cutaneous vasoconstriction. The facilitation of both pressure and tachycardiac responses to restraint stress evoked by BNST treatment with CRF were completely inhibited by local pretreatment with either the selective NMDA glutamate receptor antagonist LY235959, the selective neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS) inhibitor NPLA, the soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) inhibitor ODQ or the protein kinase G (PKG) inhibitor KT5923. Taken together, these results provide evidence that BNST CRF neurotransmission facilitate local NMDA-mediated glutamatergic neurotransmission and activates nitrergic signaling, and this pathway is local NMDA-mediated glutamatergic neurotransmission and activates nitrergic signaling, which pathway is involved in control of cardiovascular responses to stress. We investigated the involvement of BNST CRFergic neurotransmission in cardiovascular changes evoked by chronic stress in rats. We identified that exposure to a 10-day chronic variable stress (CVS) protocol decreased expression of both CRF1 and CRF2 receptors within the BNST. These effects were followed by increased arterial pressure and impairment of baroreflex function, but without changes on heart rate. Bilateral microinjection of CP376395, or antisauvagine-30 into the BNST did not affect CVS-evoked arterial pressure increase. Nevertheless, BNST treatment with CP376395 decreased both tachycardiac and bradycardiac responses of the baroreflex in non-stressed rats; but these effects were not identified in chronically stressed animals. BNST pharmacological treatment with antisauvagine-30 decreased the reflex tachycardia in control animals, whereas reflex bradycardiac response was increased in CVS animals. Therefore, the results reported in the present study indicate an involvement of both CRF1 and CRF2 receptors within the BNST in baroreflex impairment evoked by chronic stress. Furthermore, the exposition of rats into the CVS protocol did not change the sucrose preference. However, the pharmacological treatment into BNST with CRF1 antagonist reduced the sucrose preference only in control group. The molecular data resulted in no alteration of the number of CRF neurons into BNST. Last, but not least, when the role of CRF1 receptors into BNST were evaluated during the social model of witness stress, the microinjection of CP376395 into BNST reduced the pressor responses on day 5, without changing others parameters. In other words, we sought to observe how a set of reasons is provided to support and legitimize the engagement of certain actors - especially managers - in capitalist practices. Having the business management literature as a privileged receptacle of the spirit of capitalism, the research sought to look at the wide-ranging circulation of these contents through digital media. Thus, LinkedIn social network was used to gather texts published by “prominent users” and constitute a corpus of work. This set of texts, whose publication dates range from 2014 to 2019, was analyzed according to the capitalism legitimating dimensions proposed by Boltanski and Chiapello (2009). In order to elaborate an overview of how this literature treats the Brazilian company and its issues in the studied period, the research identified the main management problems addressed by the authors, as well as the solutions proposed in the texts to solve them and also the representations that are made about the previous forms of accumulation. Then, it was observed how these writings provide indications so that the engagement in capitalist practices can be seen through three dimensions: as a source of enthusiasm, as a provider of guarantees and as a contributor to a common good. In order to articulate these justifications, the spirit of capitalism necessarily makes references to recognized moral orders, which are analyzed through the economies of worth model (BOLTANSKI; THÉVENOT, 2006). Significant continuities were found with the panorama portrayed by international literature at the end of the last century. Regarding the dominant business models, there was a greater emphasis on seeking to overcome deliberate planning techniques; on risk as a way of stimulating learning; on the sharing economy; and on the search for purpose by workers and companies. The mobilizing dimensions of the spirit, which are no longer significantly influenced by the cité by projects, revealed great ideological heterogeneity and a remarkable rise in the influence of the inspired cité. The composite forms on which an important part of the reasons given are based suggest the formation of certain unstable compromises, exposing difficulties in generating a coherent order in the symbolic level. This instrument measures the constructs of occupational competence and values attributed to activities, according to the person's perceptions, assisting in the development of therapeutic objectives according to the client-centered practice. In Brazil, there are few standardized occupational therapy instruments for use. Thus, research points to the need for cross-cultural adaptation and assessment of the psychometric properties of instruments for use in the Brazilian context. Objectives: the objectives were to carry out cross-cultural adaptation, test reliability and examine the construct validity of the “Occupational Self Assessment v.2.2” instrument for Brazilian Portuguese. Materials and Methods: the cross-cultural adaptation was based on two international guides: 1) Guidelines for the Process of Cross-Cultural Adaptation of Self-Report e 2) Report of the ISPOR Task Force for Translation and Cultural Adaptation. Through the following steps: 1) Preparation, 2) Translation, 3) Translation Synthesis, 4) Back-translation, 5) Expert Committee Review, composed of ten professionals, among them occupational therapists, translators and back-translators and a physiotherapist and finally, 6) Pre-test, composed of 24 subjects divided into two groups: twelve people with disabilities and twelve undergraduate students in occupational therapy. The reliability and construct validity tests were performed using a sample of forty (n = 40) participants with physical disabilities who responded to the OSA at two different times, within an interval of ten to fourteen days from the first administration, to assess the test-retest reliability. The interclass correlation test was used as a statistical method to verify the reproducibility of the instrument. For the internal consistency test, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated. The SF-36 instrument was applied to test the construct validity of the Brazilian version of OSA. Finally, to identify relationships between occupational competence and values measured by the OSA, the instruments Functional Independence Measure (FIM) (for the variable of functional independence level), the User Satisfaction Assessment with Quebec Assistive Technology - QUEST (for the variable of satisfaction with technology) and SF-36 (for variable of quality of life ); which were analyzed by Spearman's correlation coefficient. Results: After the stages of translation, back-translation, the committee of experts presented between 90-100% of agreement regarding the equivalences of the instrument in the Brazilian Portuguese version. The Brazilian version of the OSA obtained satisfactory indices for reliability, with an index of 0.84 for the evaluation of occupational competence and 0.82 for the evaluation of the values of the questionnaire "OSA - BR – Myself", 0.77 for the evaluation of competence occupational and 0.89 for the values of the questionnaire “OSA - BR – My Environment”, in the inter-class correlation test to assess the stability of the instrument. For the evaluation of internal consistency, the Brazilian version of OSA - BR obtained an index of 0.86 for the assessment of occupational competence and 0.88 for the evaluation of the values in the questionnaire "OSA - BR - Myself", also obtained 0.73 in the evaluation of occupational competence and 0.85 in the evaluation of the values in the questionnaire "OSA - BR – My Environment". The assessment of occupational competence of the questionnaire "OSA - BR - Eu Myself" has a significant correlation with the SF-36 instrument, showing a correlation with the domains "Limitation due to physical aspects (p = 0.001 / 0.506)," General health status "( p = 0.01 / 0.394), “Vitality” (p = 0.002 / 0.470), “Social aspects” (p = 0.003 / 0.454), “Limitations due to emotional aspects” (p = 0.02 / 0.367) and “Health Mental ”(p = 0.001 / 0.490), also presents a significant correlation (p = 0.006 / 0.423) between the occupational competence assessment of the“ OSA - BR – My Environment” questionnaire and the SF-36 domain of “Mental Health”, which demonstrates its construct validity. A significant correlation was found between the occupational competence of the “OSA-BR - Eu Myself” scale and the FIM (p = 0.02 / 0.364). There was no significant correlation between this scale and QUEST. Conclusion: The instrument has been translated and has good psychometric properties for use in Brazil with people with physical disabilities. This study sought to evaluate the role of aquatic macrophytes in erosive processes, water quality and greenhouse gas dynamics in six bays on the Paraguay River, North Pantanal. For this purpose, field campaigns were carried out between January/2017 to July/2018, considering the flood and dry periods of the Pantanal, to monitor marginal erosion, collect material (water, sediment and plant) and survey variables (hydrodynamics and greenhouse gases). The material collected in the field was analyzed in a laboratory where an anaerobic decomposition experiment was also carried out with the species Eichhornia azurea and Eichhornia crassipes. The treatments that outlined this study were considered as follows: 1 - center of the bays; 2 - shore with macrophytes; 3 - shore without macrophytes. In this way, the magnitude of erosion, the water quality index (WQI), the degree of hemeroby, the concentration and diffusion flows of carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) in the water and the data were discussed from the perspective of the presence and absence of macrophyte beds. An anaerobic decomposition experiment was performed out during 60 days at two temperatures (29 °C and 31 °C). The results showed that the aquatic vegetation beds in marginal bays function as containment structures against waves caused by boats in fishing environments (p < 0.05). Regarding water quality, aquatic macrophytes have been shown to improve the WQI in bays close to the urban area and the WQI showed significant differences between periods of flood and drought (p <0.001). The degrees of hemeroby demonstrated that the bays are mostly classified between the grades ahemerobic, oligohemerobic and mesohemerobic. When related to the WQI and the degree of hemeroby, the results showed that in areas whose capacity for self-regulation is higher, water hyacinth beds tend to increase the WQI (R² = 0.19; p <0.05) while in areas with low capacity for self-regulation, WQI tends to be reduced by the presence of macrophytes (R² = 0.27; p < 0.05). Regarding the anaerobic decomposition processes, the E. crassipes presents a decay due to loss of mass 1.6 times greater at 31 °C than at 29 °C, but the species E. azurea does not present differences. The diffusive flow of methane showed that the diffusion of methane in the water is greater than 50 cm in depth without the macrophyte bed (p < 0.05) and the concentration of methane in the water was significantly higher in the aquatic macrophyte beds (p = 0.01). The objective of this study was to evaluate the production performance of the minitomate inoculated with T. asperellum and intercropped with the fabaceous vegetables. The experimental design was in randomized blocks, with and without T. asperellum application in the consortiums of mini tomato with chickpeas (Cicer arietinum), white lupine (Lupinus albus), snow pea (Pisum sativum var. saccharatum) and single cultivation (control), with four repetitions. Were evaluated: production of fresh and dry mass of fabaceous; chlorophyll content of mini tomatoes; yield, physicochemical parameters of fruits and sensory analysis of mini tomatoes. The efficient land use index (ELU) was also determined. The intercropping with lupine showed lower production of fresh and dry mass of mini tomatoes, however, showed higher ELU when compared to monoculture cultivation. The productivity of the intercropping with chickpea and pea did not differ from the control, but these fabaceae did not adapt well to the conditions of the experiment. Considering that every song is an act of speech that produces realities that emerge from plays of force and power relations, I analyze two of the different strands of Brazilian popular music that made resistance to power during the period of repression that crossed the end of the 1960s in Brazil: Tropicália and the group popularly known as MMPB (Modern Brazilian Popular Music). The corpus consists of the four songs that reached the first positions in the III Festival of Brazilian Popular Music in 1967, since, among these four songs, there are two representatives of each strand. We start from the hypothesis that the tropicalist song uses a power of connections that operates from an aesthetic affirmation materialized in an anti-dialectical pluralism that aims at a reciprocal possession between different styles and forms (originating in different cultures and social strata) despising the boundaries imposed by the power, which reverberates in a more festive and, in a way, "Dionysian" resistance; while the MMPB seems to express a reactive militancy, an ascetic search for a state of affairs based on an ideal and a dialectic based on aesthetic sorting and "purity." We attribute the same importance to the four different sub-strata present in the songs: melody, harmony, rhythm and letter. Tatit's theory (2007) gives a good account of the relationship between melody and lyrics, other semioticians such as Carmo Junior (2002) and Dietrich (2009), help us in research related to harmony and rhythm. The investigation of the relation between the works and the forms of resistance adopted by its enunciators is realized mainly in the analysis of the passions resulting from the affections, for that our methodology articulates to the semiotic theory the thought of authors like Spinoza and Nietzsche. Changes in the structure or functioning of the erythrocyte can lead to several deficiencies, such as hemolytic anemias, as the main clinical causes that can lead to an increase in the production of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), aggravating the patient's clinical condition. Several compounds have been studied as complementary therapy in hemolytic anemias to end the oxidative effects caused by these diseases, but no success has been allowed until then. Melatonin is a hormone that participates as a regulator of the sleep cycle, and more recently a role as an antioxidant has also been given to this compound. In this context, the present study aimed to evaluate the direct and indirect antioxidant effects of melatonin on erythrocyte cells, using K562 erythroid cells as a biological model. Therefore, a genetic expression and protein content of different antioxidant enzymes is available in K562 cells, differentiated or not by the addition of hydroxyurea and hemin in the face of melatonin treatment (1nM and 1mM) when induced or without oxidative stress (100μM H2O2). Viability, differentiation and level of lipid peroxidation are also available in these cells. Our results show that the administration of 1nM melatonin leads to an increase in the amount of undifferentiated K562 cells when exposed to oxidative stress induced by H2O2, in addition to decreasing the levels of lipid peroxidation in these cells. mRNA expression of the antioxidant enzymes PRDX1 and PRDX2 was increased when 1mM melatonin was administered in the presence of H2O2 in differentiated cells (PRDX1 mRNA - 50% on day 2 and 50% on day 4; PRDX2 mRNA - 100% on day 2 and 66% on day 4). An analysis of the protein content also showed important effects of melatonin, whose administration of 1mM increased the expression of NRF2 (290% without H2O2, and 437% with H2O2) and of the antioxidant enzymes PRDX2 (20% without H2O2 and 57% with H2O2) and CAT (170% without H2O2 and 200% with H2O2) in differentiated cells on day 4. Considering the importance of this culture and its constant growth, some diseases may significantly affect world productivity. The Tristeza disease and the citrus canker, caused by the Citrus tristeza virus (CTV) and Xanthomonas citri subsp. citri (Xcc), respectively, are intensively monitored, since plant eradication is the main form of control. Thus, it is of the extreme interest to develop simple, fast, specific and low-cost analytical procedures for detecting these phytopathogens in the early stages. In this sense, this work proposed the development of electrochemical immunoassays for the determination of CTV capsid protein (CP-CTV) and trehalase (TREA) for the diagnosis of Tristeza disease and citrus canker, respectively. These sandwich-type immunoassays used screen-printed carbon electrodes and magnetic particles with biorecognition elements immobilized on their surface, which allowed the capture, separation, and pre-concentration of the analyte. The first approach was the development of a disposable microfluidic device to detect the CP-CTV protein, based on the redox reaction of hydroquinone/H2O2, that was enzymatically generated from the HRP label. The procedure presented a good linearity (r2 = 0.98), with a linear working range of 2.0 fg mL‒1 to 10.0 pg mL‒1, and a detection limit of 0.3 fg mL‒1. In the second approach, trehalase (TREA) was explored as a potential biomarker for the detection of citrus canker, employing an enzymatic and another non-enzymatic immunoassay. Thus, the enzymatic system used HRP as an electrochemical label, while the non-enzymatic immunoassay used gold nanoparticles for this same function. Comparatively, the two procedures presented good results, in which excellent linearities were obtained for the concentration ranges of 25.0 fg mL‒1 to 10.0 pg mL‒1 and 1.0 ‒ 62.5 pg mL‒1 for the enzymatic and non-enzymatic immunoassay, respectively. Besides, the detection limits for the two systems developed were similar, with values of 19.0 and 16.0 fg mL‒1. The third approach involved an immunosensor for multiplexed determination of CP-CTV and TREA proteins using a microfluidic device. In this multiplexed detection strategy, the use of the alkaline phosphatase enzyme as a label promoted good versatility and selectivity to the procedure when compared to the usual immunoassays. The linear intervals of the calibration curves for CP-CTV and TREA were 0.3 to 5.1 pg mL‒1 and 0.8 to 12.5 pg mL‒1, with detection limits of 0.1 and 0.6 pg mL‒1, respectively. Finally, the first and second approaches were applied to samples of healthy and infected plants, followed by comparison with the ELISA-based procedure, with no significant difference between the methods at the 95% confidence level, which demonstrated the applicability of the strategies. We show how this editorial object points to its sociability matrix, Editora Intrínseca, which participates in a complex system of constituent elements of the editorial field, dealing with its material formalization (FLUSSER, 2007), describing the elements that relate to the material dimension of the object, highlighting aspects of the organized material to approach the book as a vector of sensitivity. We describe the details of the book's constitution, that is, the editorial genetic rites (SALGADO, 2016) involved so that it could go public. We also presented the marketing actions of the original edition and the Brazilian edition of the book, differentiating the type of approach taken by the publishers Mulholland Books and Intrínseca to show how the Brazilian publisher bet on the use of Abrams' image and fame and how they reinforced the idea that the book is, in fact, a puzzle book, a literary experience that could be read with the same expectations as to when watching a production by the American filmmaker. When we verified how the publicization of S. took place, how it was presented, and how it is a medium, we realized that its materiality and amalgamated circulation produce a reception phenomenon that gives it value. So, as we are interested in the meanings emanating from the Brazilian edition, we also focused on the questions concerning its discursive ethos (MAINGUENEAU, 2001; 2006). Finally, S., being a hybrid work of book and puzzle book, is related to the scenography of games and the world of entertainment, with the cinematic narrative constructions, pointing to the functioning of this other matrix crossing the literature, which opens space for the creation of other materials, for the expansion of its universe based on its narrative and materiality, and achieves its objective: to be both a codex and a multiple, accompanied by several inserts, ephemeral, emulating literature.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Efeito da espécie invasora Hedychium coronarium J. Changes caused by invasive species in the composition of environment can reduce or eliminate the provision of ecosystem services. Water is one of those services that can be damage by biological invasion, and evapotranspiration (ET) and variation in the water table level can also be affected. We assessed the impact of the Hedychium coronarium species on ET over 14 months and water table level, in an invaded and non-invaded area. We calculated the reference evapotranspiration (ET0) and hence the plant coefficient (Kp) for the invasive species and a group of native species of riparian forest; and we relate the growth of species to the monthly ET. The daily ET exhibited by H. coronarium was low compared to native species and mixture of invasive and native species. Thus, daily ET and accumulated ET of the mixture was higher than the other treatments, showing that the heterogeneity of the vegetation presents higher ET values. In addition, monthly ET was related to height, diameter at ground level and number of genets (for H. coronarium) indicating that species (invasive or native) have greater investment in growth to find light and occupy the area. The Kp values tend to increase over time reflecting the different stages of development of these species. Water table depth was greater in the invaded areas. Our results show that anthropic actions are directly linked to the invasion processes by H. coronarium and that the absence of natural enemies, as well as the competitive ability of this species, favors the environments’ dominance, which reduces evapotranspiration, as well as infiltration of water in the soil. The classification of the community regarding trophic categories and strata is one of the most effective methods to access the status of a given area, whereas sensitivity to fragmentations varies among species regarding their foraging habits, foraging area and occupying strata, and these elements could be lost or altered in smaller fragments. Additionally, the acoustic features of a given community associated with ecological data can provide further information. Since birds that sing in the same frequency band undergo acoustic interference when singing in the same temporal interval, the time of singing and vocal characteristics may reflect distribution patterns of species. Furthermore, because generalist species tend to establish in more fragmented areas, the acoustic community of these habitats tends to suffer constant alterations. Thus this study aimed to access the dynamic and distribution of a bird assemblage in a semi-deciduous forest regarding the ecology and vocal characteristics of the species. Data collection occurred during a year through point counts method, and recordings were made for every sample. The presence of sensitive and specialists’ species such as Habia rubica, Pyriglena leucoptera, and Crypturellus undulatus, and the low abundance of generalists’ species such as Tangara sayaca and Tyrannus melancholicus indicated that this area, that was not previously sampled, presents suitable conservation status to harbor these species. With community characterization based on three vocal spectral variables and occupying strata, we verified that species with significant cooccurrence across the point counts, present more dispersed songs and strata. Also, we carried out a case study regarding the occurrence and vocal activity dynamics of two species (Myiothlypis flaveola and Basileuterus culicivorus) that were registered singing shortly after the other. The significant co-occurrence and the strategies to avoid song overlap suggest that the interspecific interaction may benefit at least one of the species. These results demonstrate that the bioacoustics have fundamental importance regarding species distribution in a fragmented area and could be used as an additional tool to assess the structure and status of habitat.
