A trajetória sindical do MOSEP na educação básica do Maranhão (1997 a 2004)
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2020-08-13) Bastos, James Dean; Ferreira Junior, Amarilio; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0748545841167046; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7325973777644539
This work analyzes the origin and the trajectory of the Opposition Movement in the Public Education of the Maranhão (MOSEP), during the years from 1997 to 2004. To assay this study object, it was made the theoretical-methodological option of Historical-Dialectical Materialism - according to this, a social phenomenon does not occur isolated, connects to historical, economic, cultural and political determinants, which reveal its essence (constitution) and its form (performance). In this manner, the theoretical-methodological option enabled to construct the epistemic object, traversed by conjectures until it to reach the fundamental question. The crossing started from the search for the comprehension that the analyzed social phenomenon has connection with the work organization in the capital form, in the order of contradictory and antagonistic relations between capital and work. We sought to find the roots of the workers organization from the 19th to the 20th century, exposing the foundations and principles of the antagonistic relationship between capital and labor, to understand workers as a social class, their political organization and their perspectives with a view to struggles beyond their capital, in defense of another society, truly human. Tied to such fundamentals and principles, the workers organization was presented in Brazilian territory, without losing sight of the influences of these historical roots, a moment in which the organization of workers in education was also contextualized and the creation of their entities as instruments of struggles throughout the 20th century. Thus, it analyzed the maranhense context, identifying the emergence of the political organization of teachers of basic education in the Maranhão state - the Association of Teachers of Maranhão (APEMA), in a dialogue with the research works produced by Maria de Fátima Gonçalves (2006), Wagner Costa (2006) Arleth Borges (2008), Robson Silva (2013), José Brussio (2015) and Vanessa Dantas (2016). In this meaning, it constitutes an intricate and extensive context capable of situating the emergence, trajectory and dissolution of MOSEP, its contradictions and antagonisms with the agenda that guided the basic education policy of the state government and with the direction of the teachers union in the figures of Lucimá Góes de Sousa and the PCdoB group, in the dispute for the direction of the “Sindicato dos Trabalhadores em Educação Básica das Redes Públicas Estadual e Municipais do Maranhão – SINPROESEMMA”. Therefore, MOSEP trajectory was explained as a union opposition in Maranhão education, concluding that it was a movement characterized as a political vanguard, based on its struggle schedule, planned and developed throughout its performance and the non-political connection to hegemonic groups.

The Federal Institutes, instituted through Law 11.892 of 2008, bring a new model for the development of professional education in Brazil. Organized in a multicampi structure and offering basic, professional and higher education, the Federal Institutes have the characteristics and purposes of meeting, through the dimensions of teaching, research and extension, social demands and regional specificities, with a focus on local socioeconomic development, regional and national, and consolidation and strengthening of the productive, social and cultural arrangements of the localities in which they operate. Thus, the present study aims to analyze the insertion of the IFSP Piracicaba in the local and regional economic profile, based on the analysis of graduates from the Higher Technology Courses. For this, the research carried out a diagnosis of the economic-productive profile of Piracicaba and region, identifying the most dynamic sectors of the economy; identified the teaching, research and extension activities developed by IFSP Piracicaba analyzing the local and regional insertion of the institution; identified the professional profiles expected by the IFSP for those graduating from the Higher Technology Courses of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo, Campus Piracicaba, through documentary analysis and interviews with agents representing the courses and the institution; and conducted research with graduates of the Higher Technology Courses in Analysis and Development of Systems and Industrial Automation in order to raise opinions on the training obtained, professional exercises in the area of training, places of origin and current professional practice, suggestions and criticisms. As a result, the characteristics of the two profiles of graduates were identified, identification of the predominance of positive opinions regarding the quality of the courses, the theoretical and practical classes offered by the institution, positive percentages in relation to professional practice with direct or partial relationship in the area of training and professional retention of graduates by the municipality of Piracicaba and region, as well as suggestions for improvements to the actions developed by the institution.

Plantio adensado e diverso e sua relação sobre o comportamento de espécies florestais

Restoration models with high density of individuals promote early inter- and intraspecific competition processes, influencing growth relationships. Our study aimed to analyze how the species perform in relation to growth, mortality, and competition in dense and in high diversity conditions and its influence in their ecological classification. An eight-year-old dense (3 to 4 plants.m-²) and diverse (142 species) restoration area was analyzed, obtaining height, diameter, and survival data of 701 individuals of 51 species. In circular plots (7.069 m²) competition rates were determined based on the height and diameter of each plant in relation to its neighbors. Analysis of multiple linear regressions, principal components and network allowed to evaluate the relationships between variables and species. The competition indexes made it possible to characterize the differences in species response according to their neighbors. The successional classification of pioneers and non-pioneers was the one that most contributed to express the competitive relationship between species. Bifurcated individuals had greater competitive potential when subjected to high species richness and showed greater competitive potential by height. Species such as Mimosa bimucronata, Guazuma ulmifolia and Croton urucurana demonstrated highly competitive capacity inhibiting their neighborhood. Although they enable the initial vegetation structure, we recommended their use in low density and frequency in ecological restoration.
