Patellofemoral pain (PFP) is a condition that has an insidious onset and is characterized by peri- or retro-patellar pain, which is aggravated by activities that increase stress on the patellofemoral joint, with a prevalence of 22.7% in the general population. Currently, there are consensuses and clinical practice guides for the physical therapy treatment of this disorder, which are periodically updated in order to bring the best evidence of methods and practices available in the literature. However, it is not known whether the interventions most commonly used by Brazilian physical therapists in the treatment of PFP are in accordance with the best available evidence. Therefore, the objectives of this dissertation were: 1- to identify which interventions are most commonly used by Brazilian physical therapists in the rehabilitation of PFP and verify if the interventions used are in accordance with current scientific evidence; 2- check whether some characteristics of the sample and information on Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) influence the choice of interventions used by physical therapists. Brazilian physiotherapists registered with the Federal Council of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy (COFITO) and with previous experience in caring for patients with PFP were included in this study. Data on sample characteristics, information on EBP and interventions used in the treatment of PFP were collected through an online questionnaire, disseminated via social networks. In addition to a descriptive analysis of the data, a logistic regression analysis was applied to verify the association of interventions with some characteristics of the sample and information about EBP. One hundred and ninety-four physical therapists answered the questionnaire. Of the recommended interventions, 97.4% of respondents reported using the combined hip and quadriceps muscle strengthening exercises, but only 25.3% used foot orthoses. A significant number of physical therapists also reported using interventions that are not recommended (such as patellar mobilization; mobilization/manipulation of the knee, lumbar and hip; and electrothermophototherapy resources). Physiotherapists who completed a master's or doctoral degree and who know/heard about clinical practice guides or guidelines are 2.57 and 3.81 times more likely, respectively, to use recommended interventions. We conclude that most Brazilian physical therapists opt for interventions that are in line with current scientific evidence. However, a significant number of them also use non-recommended interventions for the treatment of PFP.

The research work of this professional master is related to the following research question: “how and to what extent concept maps related to electrochemistry concepts are constructed by second-year students of the Chemistry Technical Level?” Its goals are: to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the concept maps constructed by the students; to analyze concept maps related to three topics of electrochemistry (1 – electrical conductivity; 2 – Daniell cell; 3 – standard electrode), constructed by the students as from experimental activites. The development of the whole work, carried out with 31 students of a state school in the city of São José do Rio Pardo – SP, is based on Ausubel’s theory of meaningful learning, which includes the principles of progressive differentiation and integrative reconciliation. Initially, a minicourse was given, involving basic chemistry concepts related to electrochemistry and preceded by an advance organizer (a film about batteries). Afterwards, the familiarization of the students with concept maps was carried out. Then, the students constructed the three concept maps, with each construction preceded by an instructional text and a practice. The maps constructed by the students were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed, based on the following cathegories of analysis: hierarchy, concepts, valid relationships, cross-links and invalid relationships. For the first three cathegories of analysis, for each of the concept maps, a comparative analysis of the score attributed to each constructed map was carried out, attributing 100% to the average of the three highest scores. With regard to the three concept maps, for the absolute majority of the constructed maps (22 out of 30, 22 out of 31 and 25 out of 31, respectively), the scores attributed to the three analyzed parameters were at comparative levels ≥ 50% of the reference average. However, higher scores were attributed to maps 3, and for 20 of them the scores attributed to the three analyzed parameters were at comparative levels ≥ 60% of the reference average; in the case of maps 1 and 2 this occurred for 16 and 11 maps, respectively. This indicates that greater difficulties were encountered by students in the construction of the map 2. For the three concept maps, there was a very low incidence of cross-links, due to their complexity in the students' learning process and because they require a degree of creativity associated with integrative reconciliation. As for the occurrence of invalid relationships, a significant decrease was found on map 3, which may be an indication that students began to better understand the nature of the relationships between concepts, commonly associated with the process of progressive differentiation. In general, the obtained results demonstrate that concept maps as a teaching strategy in the area of Chemistry can be rich tools in the teaching-learning process.

This dissertation seeks to analyze, through the Content Analysis of parliamentary speeches and videos of leaderships and religious public figures, the discourse on the so-called "gender ideology" in the Brazilian House of Representatives between 2015 and 2019. The analyzed period is marked by a moral conservative reaction that promoted censorship to debates about gender and sexuality, especially in schools, as a response to the gain of legitimacy of the feminist movement and the promotion of recognition policies by the State. The research development identified the values, principles and strategies that surround the parliamentarians, leaderships and religious public figures’ arguments that build the policy called antigender here. In order to prevent the advancement of sexual and reproductive rights and spread traditional morality in education, the lexicon of democracy is used as a tool and Christian values receive a secular camouflage. Therefore, the dedemocratizing political-religious action is legitimized in the public arena, enabling, as a consequence, the precariousness of lives and the perpetuation of inequalities and violence faced by historically subalternized groups, such as trans people, cisgender women and sexual dissidents.

In this work we analyze the integrated management of agroecosystems in Haiti, particularly in the 3rd section of Haut-Limbé by farmers on ecological, social, economic, and cultural levels. This region is characterized by a traditional agriculture and by a plurality of agricultural crops and typical products. It covers approximately 23.95 km2 with predominantly mountainous terrain and has its own agricultural, social, and cultural characteristics. The essay is divided into two chapters. The first deals with the dynamics of land use change in Haut-Limbé between 2016 and 2021, determined by satellite imagery and spatialization of the data in a geographic information system (GIS). The results showed that during this period the changes were more important in the classes of degraded soil, pasture/crop and dense vegetation. The second chapter deals with the management of agroecosystems by farmers in Haut-Limbé, based on information collected during semi-structured interviews with 30 heads of family farms. The cartographic tool for spatially representing the agricultural plots of the group concerned was also used. In view of the above, farmers in Haut-Limbé interact with their landscape to ensure their survival and shape their society. However, the trend shows that this same landscape is in decline, marked by the reduction of vegetation cover and soil degradation. We assume that the trend will be exacerbated by 2030. The situation must be taken seriously as a matter of urgency to avoid the collapse of the Haut-Limbé community.

Rede proprietária das maiores corporações brasileiras: centralidade, intermediação e grupos
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-02-26) Cruz, Wilton Vicente Gonçalves da; Sacomano Neto, Mário; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0000793038362058; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3465359195555265
The question of who controls modern corporations is one of the most lasting of the social sciences. Ownership is one of the forms that control is exercised. Ownership networks enable to understand who are the controllers of assets, shares, and strategic decisions. There is a lack of studies using network analysis for the study of control in the Brazilian corporate sector. By this, this work aims to answer the question of who are the owners of the largest Brazilian corporations. To fill this lack, the objectives of this work are: 1) Analyze measures of density, middle-degree, modularity, and the number of connected components; 2) Analyze centrality measures of weighted out-degree, betweenness, and eigenvector; 3) Identify and analyze communities from measures of modularity class. This research is exploratory, uses analysis of content and documental analysis of quantitative data. A sample of 122 Brazilian corporations was used. A network with 1828 nodes and 3253 ownership links was constructed. The measures calculated were at network-level, node-level centrality, communities, and control flow. The results show that the network is low density, is sparse, and highly modularized. The centrality measures reveal that financial firms (mainly passive investment funds) and corporations linked to the Brazilian state have the highest values. Regarding community detection, were identified large groups of multinationals, financial firms, and firms linked to the Brazilian state and these communities have the highest values of control flow. This configuration converges to a hierarchical form of capitalism. From these results, is possible to infer financialization of the control of the largest Brazilian corporations and also the force of the state in key sectors of the economy. The consideration of other forms of corporate control (as board-interlocking and cross- shareholders) and a temporal analysis are suggestions for this sequence of this research.

Orquestra UFGD: processos educativos emergentes em com-vivência musical
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-02-26) Costa, Thais Fernandes; Gonçalves Junior, Luiz; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1324174147128430; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8905951588273220
The UFGD Orchestra is a project developed by the Dean of Extension and Culture of the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD) and started its activities in 2013. Currently, the group has approximately 45 participants, including children, youth and adults from Dourados and region who rehearse twice a week, at night. The UFGD Orchestra is characterized as a community orchestra that is constituted as an not usual instrumental formation, welcoming people of different technical and musical levels in different instruments, not being restricted to a symphonic formation. The main objective of this investigation was to unveil the educational processes emerging from the social practice of making music in conjunction with musicians who have been participating or have participated in the university extension project “Orquestra UFGD” for at least four years. At first, we performed a bibliographic search and started data collection, using a questionnaire on Google Form with open and closed questions as an instrument. We counted on the collaboration of 75 people and the the questionnaire helped us to create the criteria to select the interviewees. In total, we conducted 8 interviews and chose to use the semi-structured interview procedure. To collect and analyze the data, we chose to carry out qualitative research with a phenomenological approach in which, after the transcription of the interviews, we carried out the ideographic analysis to find the units of meaning and to construct which categories emerged from the analysis for the elaboration of the nomothetic matrix where we arrived at the following categories: A) “Time-space for personal-social transformation into a musical experience:“ We get out of our world ”; B) Tensions and relaxations in musical experience: “Then you leave there with another head, do you understand? With another thought ”; C) Learning how to better play an instrument in musical experience: “Many things I didnt know, I learned there, at the time of practices, including with colleagues”. In the analysis, we highlight the educational processes reported of learning in musical coexistence, understanding that these processes are related to the senses and personal or collective experiences as being awareness of the world through making music with the Orquestra UFGD group.

The Web environment was designed to provide the sharing of information resources in digital format, however its original structure does not allow computational agents to understand the meaning of these resources, causing problems in the recovery process. Linked Open Data is a set of principles for publishing structured, connected data and available for reuse under an open license. Its adoption eases the problems of information retrieval on the Web and international libraries have already mobilized to publish their data according to these principles. In this sense it is questioned, how to publish Linked And Open Bibliographic Data? The objective was to analyze the process of publishing bibliographic data as Linked and Open Data in the light of the available scientific literature. A Systematic Literature Review and an empirical study of the institutions that published their data as Linked and Open Data was carried out. The results obtained were: (a) the mapping of the characteristics and specificities of the bibliographic data and its relationship with innovation and technologies; (b) the state of the art of the relationship between bibliographic data and Linked and Open Data; (c) evaluation of the cases of publication of bibliographic data in accordance with the 10 Best Practices for the publication of Linked and Open Data; (d) recommendations on the publication of Connected Open Bibliographic Data. It is concluded that the theoretical-methodological recommendations built in this research can act as a guide for the institutions that intend to start the process of publishing Linked and Open Data. In addition, there is a need to register institutions' decision making in a standardized manner during the Linked and Open Data publication process and that this process can be done based on the establishment of a policy for publishing bibliographic data such as Linked and Open Data. It is concluded that the established recommendations can serve as a starting point for the initiatives of the bibliographic universe that intend to publish their data as LOD.

Introduction: Mobility is an important component of functioning. Motor and cognitive impairment in older people with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) can exert a negative impact on life-space mobility (LSM). Objective: Compare LSM in older people with mild to moderate AD and those with preserved cognition and determine associations with functioning, physical activity level, depressive symptoms, physical performance of the lower limbs, and cognitive functions. Methods: LSM was assessed using the Life Space Assessment in 24 older people with preserved cognition (PreCog) and 33 with AD. The following instruments were also applied: World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule (WHODAS 2.0), Addenbrooke’s Cognitive Examination – revised version (ACE-R), Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS-15), Modified Baecke Questionnaire for Older Adults (MBQOA), and Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB). Statistical analysis involved the unpaired t-test or Mann-Whitney test for comparisons between groups and Spearman’s correlation test. Results: The AD group had a lower total LSM score compared to the PreCog group (44 vs. 64 [U = 120.500; p < 0.01); 21% of the AD group were restricted to their homes when no assistance was available. In both groups, moderate correlations were found between LSM and both functioning and physical activity level. A moderate correlation with depressive symptoms was also found in the PreCog group. Conclusion: Older adults with mild to moderate AD have lower LSM and require assistance to achieve higher levels of mobility. Only functioning and physical activity level were correlated with LSM in older people with AD, suggesting that broader interventions beyond merely physical and cognitive aspects should be explored.

This dissertation brings analysis of the Pedagogical Course Projects of the National Program for the Integration of Vocational Education with Basic Education in the Modality of Education of Youths and Adults - Initial and Continuing Education, recognized by the acronym PROEJA-FIC at the Federal Institute of Education , Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP), the insight Critical Emancipatory Pedagogy. This study has a central theme the Curricular Policies and the presence of Paulo Freire's Pedagogy in the Pedagogical Course Projects (PPC). The questioning about the construction of a critical curriculum for PROEJA-FIC raised two questions: The first was to investigate whether the PROEJA-FIC Base Document, which was developed by the Ministry of Education (MEC) in 2007, had Freire's influences; and the second was to verify whether these Freirean influences present in the Base Document were reflected in the PROEJA-FIC PPCs in force within the scope of the IFSP. In this sense, the main objective of the research included analyzing Freirean categories in PPCs. To answer these questions and consolidate the proposed objectives, a review of the available literature and documentary analyzes were carried out. The literature review was based on authors who defend a Critical Curriculum, among which the following stand out: Paulo Freire, Michael Apple, Henry Giroux. This study made it possible to understand the interfaces that permeate the construction of a critical curriculum and the establishment of Freire's categories: Dialogue, Interdisciplinarity and Praxis; that supported the analysis of the PPCs. The results indicated that the Base Document (2007) has influences from Freirean Pedagogy, however the PROEJA-FIC PPCs are distant from a critical educational perspective and have characteristics geared to technicality. After realizing that the PPCs did not dialogue with Critical Emancipatory Pedagogy, the research made considerations about the elements that should be considered for a curricular restructuring with a view to emancipation and humanization.

Development of ionic conductive cellulose mat by solution blow spinning and laser-induced graphene from pineapple nanocellulose for use in flexible electronic devices
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-02-26) Claro, Pedro Ivo Cunha; Marconcini, José Manoel; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5373845785326215; Mattoso, Luiz Henrique Capparelli; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5839043594908917; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6254120461818431
In the face of environmental issues and aiming at electronic devices of rapid production at low cost, this doctoral thesis proposed two new and innovative approaches to obtain substrates, dielectrics, and electrodes from a single biopolymer: cellulose. In a first moment, a simple approach to produce low-cost flexible ionic conductive cellulose mats (ICCMs) using solution blow spinning (SB-Spinning) is reported. The electrochemical properties of the ICCMs were adjusted through infiltration with alkali hydroxides (LiOH, NaOH, or KOH), which enabled of ICCMs application as dielectric and substrate in oxidebased field effect transistors (FETs) and pencil-drawn resistor-loaded inverters. The FETs showed good electrical performance under operating voltage <2.5 V, which was strictly associated with the type of alkali ion incorporated, presenting satisfactory performance for the ICCM infiltrated with K+ ion. The inverters with K+ ions also presented good dynamic performance, with a gain close to 2. Regarding the cellulose-based electrodes, a second innovative approach is reported to synthetize laser-induced graphene (LIG) structures from carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC)-based ink containing LIG obtained from cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) extracted from pineapple leaf fibers (PALFs). To prove this concept, zinc oxide ultraviolet (ZnO UV) sensors were designed varying the amount of LIG from CNCs. Sensor obtained from LIG written directly on paper substrate were also performed. The ZnO UV sensors designed with CMC-based ink showed responsivity 40-fold higher than that of paper directwritten LIG, as well as excellent electrical performance under flexion. These findings may open new promising possibilities for low-consumption wearable electronics, allowing the use of concepts such as the "Internet of Things" and opening the possibility of generating 100% organic cellulose-produced electronic devices.

Copulas are cumulative distribution functions defined on the unit square whose margins are uniform. In the context of the present work, we have provided three new families of semilinear copulas based on the copulas AMH, FGM and Plackett. More precisely, we have applied the diagonal functions related to each of them with the purpose of obtaining the expressions of the new families. Besides that, it has been calculated the respective Spearman rho coefficient from each transformed copula, whose values have been studied thoroughly.

The special-needs program in basic education schools, as proposed and executed in the state of Paraná, is documented by the offer and certification of education to its students. The proposal includes the adjustment of the regular basic education-early years program, known as fundamental education-early years in Brazil, in the form of a 10-year continued cycle which corresponds to the syllabus of the first and second regular grades. This study aims to examine the role of the special-needs program in basic education schools with regards to the education of intellectually disabled students, as well as those with multiple disabilities and pervasive developmental disorders. This is an exploratory-descriptive research which employed document analyses and interviews as data-collection instruments. Among the objects of analyses were state official documents regarding the educational proposal, as well as the researched school’s documents, such as its political pedagogical project, curricular pedagogical proposal, teacher work plans and bi-annual student progress reports. Moreover, quantitative data were gathered from the Anísio Teixeira National Educational Study and Research Institute and the Paraná State Department of Education to contextualize the study objectives. Two fundamental education-early years schoolteachers and the principal from the researched school participated in the interviews, which were analyzed using core meaning analysis, with the Historical-Culture Theory as reference. The analyzed data ascertained that the researched school is inserted in a state deeply characterized by the substitution of mainstream school systems for alternative education, which account for approximately a quarter of enrollments in the country’s exclusive classes. Both the guiding documents and the speech of the interviewees characterize this education as conducted through the realization of the person’s disability, limited to their biological condition, and low expectations about learning. The adjustment of basic education to a 10-year cycle is perceived as positive and relevant in the collected data, however, its success is attributed to the systematized teaching of reading and writing content. The reported assessments occur daily, but what prevails in the bi-annual reports are the recurrent records of a student’s aptitudes and/or difficulties over consecutive semesters and years. Data analyses from this study suggest that the special needs program in basic education, with regards to the teaching of intellectually disabled students, as well as of those with multiple disabilities and pervasive developmental disorders, plays a role in the mischaracterization of the social function of schools and does not guarantee an education into more advanced levels as proposed effectively by a basic education school committed to the access and ownership of historically constructed human production.

This research aims to analyze the apprenticeship of possessive pronominal constructions of 3rd person from Brazilian Portuguese (BP) by Spanish speakers (SS), focusing on the pragmatic and discursive domain implied in its use. The investigation was motivated by the observation of occurrences of the simple possessive “seu” from the production of SS students, in contexts in which its use did not correspond to the preference of Brazilians, causing strangeness and possibly noise in communication when establishing references. This paper is an exploratory study, of a quali-quantitative nature and focused descriptive methodological basis, which had as theoretical framework the Interlanguage model for analysis (SELINKER, 1972). The investigation was based on a set of descriptive studies about the BP possessive pronominal system (NEVES, 1996; MÜLLER, 1997; MORAIS & RIBEIRO, 2014; GUEDES, 2017, among others) and from Spanish (FREITES BARROS, 2001; SÁNCHEZ AVENDAÑO, 2008, OROZCO, 2009, 2010; PEREIRA & MARCOTULIO, 2020), which indicate diverse factors as determiners on the variation of “seu”/”dele” and “su”/”de él”, involving the formality delineation of the text and the expression of referential contrast, besides the divergence in grammaticality of the dative constructions for the expression of inalienable possession. These differences merge in the perspective of González (1994) about the reverse asymmetries of BP and Spanish. For data elicitation, it was applied an online questionnaire to Brazilians (speakers of BP as a mother tongue) and to foreigners SS students of BP. The questionnaire consisted on a proposal of written production adapted from Gancedo Álvarez (2008), an acceptability test of “seu” and “dele” in contextualized sentences and the referential interpretation of “seu” in dialogues that reproduces the oral aspect. The results of the written production indicate the discontinuation of the dative structure for the inalienable possession expression and its substitution for genitive constructions. Concerning the acceptability tests and referential interpretation, the data supports, to some extent, some hypothesis of the research, suggesting divergence in the interpretation and evaluation of “seu” and “dele” by the participants from both groups.

Creole seeds have a substantial in biodiversity, family farming and in traditional communities. Specifically in the Southwest of São Paulo state, its use has a direct relation with the subsistence of family farmers as well as crafts and animal feeding. To know the quality of the seeds and which were the relations and fluxes occurred in the first exchange fair of seeds in the region are the focuses of this study, as the quality of the seeds has as much importance as the trades to promote the maintenance and to revalue the prevailing creole seeds. In this sense, the first chapter refers to field of study of phytotechnics on the survey of the characteristics of the fields of production of creole corn seeds and of the evaluation as to the physical, physiological and sanitary quality of seeds in the southwest of São Paulo state, Brazil. The results obtained showed that for the physical and physiological tests the 2019 and 2020 harvests, although having obtained values with variations, the 2020 crop presented higher values of vigor and germination. The fungi Aspergillus sp. and Penicillium sp. were identified as having a high incidence in the sanity test in both harvests, but the 2019 harvest results were highlighted. However, post-harvest strategies, especially those related to storage processes, are essential for maintaining the quality of corn creole seeds. The second chapter refers to an article from the field of rural sociological study that aimed to locate some of the family properties that maintain corn creole seeds and to verify how seed exchanges are organized to maintain this genetic heritage in the Southwest of São Paulo. From the results obtained, four nuclei of seed exchange were observed, three individuals who do not make changes and the presence of exchange relations through reciprocity. The realization of the first seed exchange fair provided an alternative communication between the custodians of creole seeds in the territory, allowing the exchange of other creole cultures such as beans, pumpkin and rice, which increases the diversity of varieties in the region. In addition, it was possible to observe that there is difficulty in organizing communication between family farmers to exchange seeds.

Theoretical and experimental study of inorganic crystals is an interdisciplinary subject that have been attracting intense research and development due to both the fundamental and applied scientific value. Molybdates matrix exhibit interesting structural, optical and photoluminescence properties, such as layered nature, wide visible emission range and efficient energy transfer to activating ions. The Bi3+ ion as counterion of the matrix exhibits charge, radius and coordination sphere similar to trivalent rare-earth ions commonly used for doping these inorganic semiconductors, besides not being toxic to humans or the environment. This research presents a bibliographic review on structural, morphological and photoluminescent properties of pure and Europium doped crystals of Bismuth Molybdate and their applications as LED phosphors and catalysts for photodegradation of organic molecules.

The Residential Therapeutic Service (SRT) is a strategic device created for the restructuring of mental health care that enables people with severe psychological distress, institutionalized or not, to live in the urban space. Recognizing that it is the guarantee of the right to housing, to live and to live in the city, it is characterized as the first step in the difficult and complex process of reintegrating these people into society. Studies show that, in the scope of national and international research on the deinstitutionalization of people with psychological distress, there is little data on their reinsertion, especially those related to social and psychological aspects. The literature also explains the scarcity of research developed with the residents of the SRTs and that little is known about what they think about their daily lives. The present study aimed to understand the perception of residents of therapeutic residential services about their daily lives. It is a qualitative, exploratory and documentary research, with the participation of 8 residents of SRTs from a municipality in the interior of the state of São Paulo. Paulo. The concept of Daily Life underpins this research, from the perspectives of Occupational Therapy, Agnes Heller's Daily Life Theory and Psychosocial Rehabilitation, as they base the valuation of people in all their complexity and lead to the understanding of individual and collective factors that make part of the deinstitutionalization process. Data collection was carried out by consulting documents, reports and other information contained in the records of each participant and semi-structured interviews. The data from the documentary research were analyzed descriptively. Thematic analysis was used to treat the data produced through the interviews. The results were analyzed from the perspective of Occupational Therapy, above all, based on concepts that make up the field, such as participation, autonomy and the meanings of human activity, which revealed the importance and meanings given by participants to the SRT and the activities of care with the house held there, in addition to the use and appropriation of this space that highlights the subjectivity of each participant, the relationship between residents and how they act in conflict situations within the house. Participation in activities outside the SRT appears in reports with different purposes, levels and degrees of engagement. The knowledge, knowledge and experiences reported in each life story show the participants' perception related to the objective and concrete point of view. They reveal knowledge related to doing practical, mainly related to work, since the greatest possibilities of lived experiences were related to this. The importance and meanings of doing, interests and the use of money were addressed, as well as new learnings, autonomy, plans and desires. We hope that this study can contribute to the construction of knowledge in the area of psychosocial care, more specifically, to aspects related to the housing of people with psychological distress, as well as to their daily lives and the processes of social inclusion.

In recent years, there has been a worldwide interest in the development of "green" technologies which enable the use of products with less environmental impact. There is an increasing focus in the use of raw materials obtained from biomass. The interest increases, mainly, when the biomaterial comes from some industrial waste. From this motivation, there has been the replacement of phenol by lignin for the production of phenolic resins. The used lignin came from the industrial paper and cellulose waste and extracted through the Kraft process. The aiming was reducing the dependence on phenol, a petroleum derivative, by developing a more sustainable product and increasing the value of lignin once, currently, this biopolymer is burned in boilers for power generation. Thus, lignin was used as a partial substitute for phenol in the condensation reactions of phenolic resins of the resole type, to produce lignin-phenol-formaldehyde adhesives for wood which do not have the distillation step in the manufacturing process. In order to identify the best polymerization parameters and find the highest percentage of mass substitution (lignin for phenol), factorial design was used. The resulting model indicated that the best replacement conditions and condensation time were approximately 15% and 75 minutes, respectively. Meanwhile and aiming industrial interest, maximum replacement percentage and shorter condensation time (less time spent in the reactor batch), the system was also studied with 20% replacement and 55 minutes of condensation. The physical-chemical properties of the synthesized adhesives were assessed by viscosity, solids content, gelatinization time (gel time) and mechanical strength of glued joints techniques, comparing them with the standard sample (100% phenol used in its synthesis, that is, without replacement) and the replaced samples. The results achieved in the physical-chemical analyses and mechanical strength of glued joints tests of the modified resins were similar or superior when compared with the pure resin. Once we had an increase in pressing time or an increase of the press temperature, we could possibly have obtained better mechanical strength of glued joints results for the experiment with a higher replacement percentage. Through the obtained results by differential scanning calorimetry of the three tested samples, it was possible to observe peculiar endothermic peaks from the reticulation process, we could suggest that the higher the percentage of replacement the higher the energy will be required for the crosslinking of the lignin-phenol-formaldehyde polymer, due to displacement of the curves to higher temperatures. Finally, it was concluded that it is possible to replace phenol up to 20%, having the required properties as a phenolic adhesive maintained.

In 2020, the World Health Organization declared that there was a pandemic due to the SARS-COV-2 virus, which caused social isolation, restricting people's access to community environments. In view of this, the importance of understanding the changes in leisure and routine activities of children with cerebral palsy was seen, since they were not attending school in person. That said, the present study aims to compare the leisure activities of children with cerebral palsy before and during the period of social isolation, through specific objectives: a) map the leisure activities of children with cerebral palsy before and after the pandemic by Covid-19; b) to identify the participation of children with cerebral palsy in leisure activities; c) to identify possible changes in the routine of children with cerebral palsy caused by social isolation. For this, three mothers / guardians of children with cerebral palsy, aged 33 to 70 years, who had already been involved in a study conducted in 2018, participated in the study, which answered an interview, the PEM-CY questionnaire, and the PEDI. Except for PEDI, all instruments were reapplied in 2020, with adaptations, and a socioeconomic questionnaire was added. The method is characterized as longitudinal descriptive, and the data of the interviews were analyzed from the thematic analysis of the content and the questionnaires followed their own instructions. Two initial classifications were obtained from the interviews, resulting in 13 nuclei of meaning until reaching 14 themes to be presented and discussed. The results indicated that children with cerebral palsy had changes in leisure participation, and routine activities due to the covid-19 pandemic. Community activities were impaired, in home activities, there was no difference before and during social isolation, however, children spend more time at home and miss the school and the fun that the space offers. The pandemic also led to changes in routine, changes in mood and family life. Thus, the study concluded that the covid-19 pandemic had an impact on the leisure activities of children with cerebral palsy also on other aspects of their daily life. It was concluded that the impacts of social isolation were significant for the children in the study, which requires attention in view of the opportunities in the leisure area that children with CP have compared to children with typical development.

Based on a case study (2019-2020) carried out at the Dr. Cândido Ferreira Health Service in Campinas-SP, the present research sought to analyze a National Mental Health Policy (PNSM), covering the objective and subjective transformations of citizenship in perspective of users discharged from long hospitalizations in psychiatric hospitals. Starting from the question: which speeches triggered by the actors of mental health services that are affected daily by the PNSM guidelines and that are related to the guarantee and access to social, political and civil rights, power negotiations and the configurations of the new legal devices, assistance of services and actions in the field of anti-asylum reform? To this end, the aim is to highlight the articulations of citizenship as a central element of public policy legislation and when reflecting on the trajectories of the deinstitutionalization process, new anti-asylum protagonisms emerge and the resignification of contemporary madness is redefined. The data indicate the complexity of the Brazilian psychiatric reform process, permeated by several normative plans, culminating in institutional reconfigurations and political, social, cultural conflicts. It was concluded that the actors named with serious and persistent disorders remain linked to stigmatization and pathologization of mental illness, conflicts with legal internment, difficulties regarding inclusion through work, education, artistic and social movements, occupation of the city and, above all, social vulnerability and the commodification of psychological suffering.

The general objective of the present thesis covered two questions: 1. To verify if the stimuli to the abilities of motor perception (proprioception) and of perception of spatial relations (exteroception) favor the acquisition of the repertoires of listener and tact-intraverbal responses of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) children with School-age; 2. Check if the procedures and designs for stimulus control (used in empirical studies) were efficient (economy of teaching) and effective (producing new behaviors) to enable the acquisition of a language repertoire not directly taught, analyzing the functional independence or dependence relations between speaker (tact-intraverbal) and listener (follow instructions) repertoires from questions about spatial relations (front / back / right side / left side) for body parts and objects. This second question aimed to contribute to the literature that discusses which is the best teaching route to cause the emergence of an operant not directly taught (from speaker to listener or from listener to speaker). Thus, this thesis is presented in the form of a compendium of articles, being a systematic review article (Study 1) and three empirical articles (Studies 2, 3 and 4). The participants in the empirical studies were eleven children with ASD aged between six and fourteen years. Three children attended regular school and eight children attended institutions. Study 2 was a case study with an ABAB design. Study 3 involved six participants and the design used was an alternate treatment coupled to the multiple baseline design across participants. Study 4 encompassed four participants and the multiple probes design across participants was used. Based on the data obtained, the three empirical studies expand on previous findings on the proposition that teaching speaker repertoires is more effective for the emergence of listener repertoires than the other way around, in addition to corroborating the same efficacy for other operants and spatial relationships such as the intraverbal. It also expands on previous findings from studies that used spatial relations such as front / back and right / left, however, offering a concrete dimension through the use of the participant's own body parts and later generalization to new relations with objects in the environment. The data from the literature review study indicated that there was consonance between studies on a correlation between motor development and language acquisition in children with ASD; however, the authors agree that there is not enough evidence to prove this statement. Thus, they suggest that longitudinal studies be carried out to reaffirm these possibilities. Therefore, it is opportune to add the following suggestions: that educators and therapists include the teaching of motor skills when carrying out teaching planning or individualized care for students with ASD; that researchers continue the variability of procedures and designs, as well as the age of the participants and their conditions (levels of severity and comorbidities) to validate (or not) the hypothesis of the correlation between the development of the motor system and the language of children with ASD.
