Yoga is an Indian philosophical system aimed at the study of consciousness and self-knowledge. For some decades, it has been incorporated into the Public Health in Brazil, from the perspective of an integrative practice, as a strategy for promoting care and treatment. Occupational therapists are worked in with the Integrative and Complementary Practices, aiming at the construction of therapeutic projects that consider the subject's living spaces and their daily activities. The objective of this research was to analyze the benefits attributed to the practice of yoga in the mental and physical health of practitioners, from the improvement of symptoms and the performance of self-reported significant activities, correlating to the daily discussion in occupational therapy. The methodology used followed a qualitative framework, analyzing data from the research entitled “Characterization of the clientele of yoga groups in a university health service”, out of an instrument for investigating symptoms and activities and a survey of the participation in the groups; the second stage, bibliography research in academic texts and publications related to occupational therapy and daily life and the text Patañjali Yoga Sutras. The most frequently mentioned symptom was “anxiety” and the activity “study” indicated an important link to the academic environment. Most participants reported positive effects of yoga on symptoms that hindered activities that were meaningful to them in their daily lives, based on collective practices that prioritizes self-care techniques, self-knowledge and self-development, in order to balance the psycho-emotional and physical state. The study allowed articulations with the field of knowledge of occupational therapy, which in its interventions addresses the subject’s living spaces and the actions performed in daily life.

Among the many fields of activity of Physical Education, collective health is one of the most recent. Because of this, from the experiences provided in the bachelor's degree in Physical Education, there was little emphasis on training and performance focused on the context of collective health. Therefore, this qualitative research aimed to analyze the perspectives on the professional training and acting of Physical Education professionals (PEF) who work in primary health care, in the Unified Health System (SUS). As a data collection instrument, a semi-structured interview was used with eight PEF working in the context of public health in different areas and cities in the state of São Paulo. After data collection, the speeches found were analyzed and four categories of analysis were elaborated, namely: a) Initial Training in Physical Education that addresses the initial training of the interviewees and the contributions of this to their respective professional performances, being possible to notice that the curriculum that the interviewees went through during graduation did not effectively contribute to the work they perform today, with disciplines and mandatory internships with the theme of public health being scarce; b) Working Conditions/Situations, the second category, we found reports about inadequate infrastructure and materials for an efficient professional performance; c) In our third category called Continuing Education of the Physical Education Professional, we visualized a dissatisfaction on the part of the interviewees in relation to the lack of incentives to take courses and/or permanent education; d) the last category was called the Role of the Education Professional, where we identified that a large part of the research participants see the role of the PEF directly linked to disease prevention and health promotion actions. In this way, we emphasize through this study the importance of bringing undergraduate students closer to a more practical context of action and developing public policies that support and encourage the PEF inserted in public health.

The technique of liquid chromatography, by means of a separation mechanism, makes it possible to perform analyses to detect and quantify certain substances in a given sample. In a differential migration process, sample components interact in different ways with a mobile phase and a stationary phase until they are detected. In high performance liquid chromatography, these analyses are performed by HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) equipment, whose system is basically composed of a solvent pump, sample injector, column, and detector. To identify and solve the common problems presented by the equipment, a troubleshooting technique was developed. The "Troubleshooting tree", a kind of troubleshooting guide, was published by researchers Snyder and Dolan with the objective of facilitating the identification of equipment problems. Many common problems such as pressure oscillation, retention time variation, area variation, peak shape change, and system leakage could be more easily identified and solved by following the method proposed by the "Troubleshooting tree".

This research was produced with the aim of mapping students' experiences in their relations with the Graduate Program in Education at the Federal University of São Carlos (PPGE-UFSCAR). For the processing of the mapping, references of the cartographic method were used for the creation of methodological tools through which data were produced. The initial methodological tools were designed to be operationalized in face-to-face activities with a group of volunteer students. With the advent of the pandemic, the methodological tools created for the research were adapted to the virtual context, with all meetings for data production taking place through the mediation of digital devices.

Corn (Zea Mays L.) is one of the most economically exploited crops in the world, Brazil being the third largest producer and second largest exporter in the world. Its cultivation as a off-season in the country has become increasingly common in all regions, however, one of the limiting factors for its planting is the occurrence of dry period in summer, harming its productivity. Therefore, the irrigation systems use has become advantageous, since the corn crop to develop properly needs a large amount of water in different plant stages. The objective of this work was to evaluate the development and productivity of off-season corn irrigated by drip system irrigation and non-irrigated. The work has been carried out at Ufscar- Araras, in area of 40 x 35m, with 34 planting lines, being 17 irrigated and 17 non-irrigated. The water application has been made by self-compensating driplines, model Top Drip, flow of 1 Liter per hour, spacing of 0.30m and operating pressure of 1.4 bar. The soil moisture measurement, has been accomplished by tensiometers installed at two depts. Plant height, stem diameter and third leaf length were evaluated, as well as the diameter of the ears of corn, weight, length, 1000 grain weight, number of grains per ear and grain yield. The irrigated plants have been shown a greater vegetative development, quality and grain yield than the non-irrigated plants.
