Active learning methodologies have gained increasing visibility in discussions about education with regard to increasing student engagement, whether from the perspective of working from problem situations or by projects. Linked to these methodologies, many nomenclatures such as PBL (Problem Based Learning), Active and Student-Centered Learning, Case-Based Learning, Maker Movement and other derivations, have appeared as potential solutions for teaching practices in schools in the sense of connecting curriculum and to foster interdisciplinarity, student protagonism and learning through group work. Considering that the protagonism or engagement of young people in the school environment provides an amalgamation that connects them to teachers and the school, and at the same time it can provide greater autonomy from problem situations that require these young people to critically analyze and take action. decision, it is glimpsed that such methodologies can help in the construction of educational practices that are seductive to the eyes of students, without giving up systematized knowledge. From this perspective, the potential and limitations of active methodologies are discussed in the view of a group of basic education teachers – Elementary Education II, from schools accredited to the Integral Education Program (PEI) of the State of São Paulo, having as cut out the electives. With these questions, we anchored our research in schools belonging to PEI through a social project called Tetear Tech, aimed at creating a space for dialogue and learning involving art and technology as a way to expand the repertoire of students. The social project connected four schools in Piracicaba-SP, offering training workshops embedded in active methodologies. In addition to this pedagogical intervention process, there was the elaboration of a Thesaurus of its own, with the choice of keywords for the search for academic papers on active methodologies, in order to try to understand the academic production on this topic in the field of education in Brazil. For this survey, we used the theses bank of graduate programs in education with grades of 5-7 from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), mapped by Grupo Horizonte (Study and Research Group of UFSCar), and the works published on the SciELO platform. The material collected, organized, and presented in this research showed an increase in the number of works produced on active methodologies, mainly directed to higher education in the area of health and graduation in medicine and nursing; however, there is no significant academic production focused on basic education. In the intervention research carried out, the teachers involved in the process were optimistic and inclined to incorporate new methods and/or approaches involving practices related to active methodologies in their classroom planning and practices. However, these professionals have little contact with activities linked to active methodologies and space for continuing education for discussion and sharing of good practices.

The literature lacks details on how research and technology organizations (RTOs) of innovation systems in formation can coordinate resources, processes and practices, directing them to improve performance and competitiveness. In this thesis, concepts about success factors, challenges and managerial constraints are unfolded to elaborate an analysis model of Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) operations management dynamics in Brazilian RTOs for the characterization of factors (drivers and constraints) that affect it. Its constructs are based on: i) operational components, managerial dimensions and articulations, representative of theirs specificities, systematically collected from specialized literature focused on the study objects, from the theory on complex adaptive systems and from contributions of an exploratory case study conducted in an university center of research and technology; and ii) propositions about relations that are established between managerial dimensions and articulations present in the operational dynamics of RD&I. They were verified by means of a detailed application, in a case study conducted in a research and technology institute of São Paulo, proving to be viable to the understanding proposed in the context studied, with considerations about its aspects that can be improved and that may be increased by new applications. This thesis raises up some recommendations and reflections for the strengthening of intra and inter-institutional articulations effectiveness for the cases conducted, confirming the usefulness and the originality of the model for the characterization of factors that affect the management of RD&I operations in RTOs.

The presence of companion and domestic animals in the daily life of Amerindian societies has been described and analyzed by a growing anthropological bibliography, and also aroused the interest of ethnologists working with the Guarani people. These works highlight the central role of animals in hunting practices, mythological narratives, cosmological categories and in the production of personhood in the Guarani-Mbya society. In contrast, there is scant information and discussion about the so-called commensal or synanthropic creatures, such as small rodents (rats), which coexist with the Guarani-Mbya people. This is a matter as crucial as it is neglected by anthropologists, considering that many indigenous villages, such as the villages in the Jaraguá Indigenous Land (São Paulo/SP), are close to urban and peri-urban areas – where rats are, as we know, a crowd. In this sense, the aim of this dissertation is to present an ethnography about the relations between the Guarani-Mbya people and commensal rats in the Jaraguá Indigenous Land, and to understand the way in which this people perceive, know, classify and relate to these beings. This work is particularly dedicated to understand the relations between rats, indigenous and non-indigenous through the sharp Guarani-Mbya criticism toward the whites’ way of living – which is described both in relation to my interlocutors' distrust of the epidemiology of zoonosis, and from the indigenous criticism toward the predatory potential of urban-industrial society. At the end, I argued that such indigenous criticism can be understood in relation with some Amerindian cosmological categories and mythical themes – showing how, from the Guarani-Mbya point of view, other rats and other humans inhabit big cities.

Debating different ways of teaching has been important in recent years, especially with the new high school. Turn the environment school more attractive, near to your daily life is a subject of study of active methodologies. In this research, we created a historical line, from the middle twentieth century to the present time, where hybrid teaching is discussed. We search to show that small movements, gradually taking the teacher from the center of attention to the students, can make them more interested, given the contextualization of problems in the environment in which they live. We focus on study about Arithmetic Progression and Geometric Progression for the use of the flipped classroom, with 1st year high school students from a private school, located in the city of Sorocaba-SP. For the application of the flipped classroom, videos by myself and by teachers from the education system to which the school belonged were used. With the Covid-19 pandemic, changes were made to the activities to be applied, causing changes in discussions and in the quantity of activities delivered. Using information from students who made the activities, we will be able to insert active methods in schools, gradually and discussed with the teachers, management team, family and students. As an expected result, the teacher-researcher through strengths and improvement of this methodology, as well as implications for student learning.

A "nova" direita brasileira: um estudo do mercado político no pós-impeachment
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2021-09-22) Vieira, Aiane de Oliveira; Iasulaitis, Sylvia; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4226275371443693; Casalecchi, Gabriel Avila; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9759794253878555; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5293850273639536
Brazil registered between the implementation of the Real Plan in 1994 and 2012 significative results in all its socioeconomic indexes. The country seemed to be going toward modernization, cultural change, the consolidation of its democratic system as well as human empowerment. This path, nonetheless, was interrupted and since 2013 the country has faced political, social, cultural, economic and institutional crises, which not only damaged the image of the government and its political institutions, but also stimulated the emergence of political groups that identify themselves with what the literature has called an “extreme” or a “new” right. The reasons that promoted the emergence of this radical right worldwide and, more specifically in Brazil, are multiple and evolve economic, political and cultural issues. To understand this phenomenon, it is necessary to look into the various actors involved in this dynamic: voters (demand), political elites (supply) and the media, more specifically, social media as an intermediary between demand and supply. That said, we aim to identify the profile of those voters who support the “new” right’s rhetoric, expressed mostly on Jair Bolsonaro, based on socioeconomic and demographic elements; and cultural values such as authoritarianism, law and order, tradition and stability, nationalism and intolerance to groups considered minorities. Second, we want to comprehend the dynamics of the use of social media in the political scene. We aim to understand how they may have contributed to shape voters’ values and perceptions. Thus, our research question is: Who is the Brazilian “new” right and how it built itself through social media? Our hypothesis is that Bolsonaro’s voters are more inclined to cultivate attitudes aligned with those other extreme right movements worldwide. Additionally, we believe those attitudes are reinforced among those who consume more online content. In order to achieve our goals, we use the 2018/2019 America’s Barometer survey data base. Firstly, we build a digital activism index and identify the share of the electorate that identifies with the political figure of Jair Bolsonaro. Secondly, we build four models to measure behavior considered authoritarian, such as: supporting coups when there is too much crime as well as corruption and supporting the closure of the National Congress and the Supreme Court. Lastly, we analyze the relationship among the use of social media, vote in Jair Bolsonaro and authoritarian behavior. The results show that Bolsonaro’s voters are more inclined to cultivate authoritarian behavior and, those who are more active on social media seem to present even stronger authoritarian characteristics.
