listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Nomes corpos e lugares na etnografia Pirahã(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-01-10) Felizes, Pedro Vaz; Andrello, Geraldo Luciano; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5447074379881029; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0201638859738804This research proposal proposes a set of possibilities through the conceptions of place, body and person among the Pirahã, a group who speak the Mura language of the Maici river basin in central Amazonia. The project was developed around the way Pirahã conceptualize their own world in confrontation with other worlds, and how these specific create very different living places. It takes as its starting point the anthropological debate about the Amerindian world in the Amazon, particularly about the practical-cognitive regimes in its result obtained thought the relationships of distance and differential proximity between men, animals, plants, spirits, minerals, objects and phenomena. As a general hypothesis, the research seeks to update the specific problem through which the Pirahã think and act in the territory, in the possibilities of the dynamics of social life and the dynamics of the cosmos to be translated into a code of bodies, names, places and actions endowed with a co- extensive mode of existence of their own. In this sense, an analysis seeks to use the conceptual imagination about the Pirahã, both from ethnographic and historical linguistic works, among others, and to articulate them with the classic themes of Amazonian anthropology, with a view to improving their research instruments. Thus, we intend to highlight the so-called "native" concepts and theories with regard to their classification systems and the conceptions about the environment, fauna, flora and other "entities", in order to qualify what modern sciences usually opposed in the form of watertight dualisms: Nature / Society; Man / Animal; Subject / Object; Body / Spirit; Village / City.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Pratica profissional saúde da mulher – doenças psiquiátricas, psicofarmacoterapia e gestação(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-01-10) Ignacio, Camila; Contini, Andréa Aparecida; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9116284983583610; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3266726946322727Pregnant women with psychopathologies are a neglected population, with less monitoring of their mental health needs. Usually, metals are not present isolated in environments, so aquatic organisms are exposed to several chemical compounds simultaneously. Despite this, there is still not much data on the long-term effects of metal mixtures on aquatic organisms. This study investigates the toxic effects of an essential metal, manganese (Mn), and a non-essential one, chromium (Cr), in single and combined form, on the freshwater chlorophyte Raphidocelis subcapitata. This research evaluated the impact of the metals in isolated and mixture forms on growth, the photosynthetic activity, biochemical composition, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) production of this chlorophyte to obtain an in-depth assessment of the toxic actions of the contaminants. Both Mn and Cr led to growth inhibition and reduced the chlorophyll a fluorescence of the microalgae, being Mn more toxic than Cr. The species sensitivity distribution curve revealed that the species used in the present study was the most sensitive to Mn, among other several freshwater organisms exposed to this metal. Mn negatively affected the efficiency of the oxygen evolution complex, the effective quantum yield, and photochemical quenching of the microalgae. At the same time, Cr led to less severe alterations in these parameters, probably due to the activation of photoprotection mechanisms. The mixture of Mn and Cr showed additive effects for the microalgae, and the Independent Action reference model was the one that best fitted the data. The ROS production increased significantly after 96 h of exposure to both metals. At high Mn concentrations (7.28 and 14.56 μM), in which there was more outstanding production of lipids in response to the stress caused by the metal, the intracellular levels of ROS dropped, suggesting that the increase in the total lipids content acted as a defense. The combination of the metals led to synergistic effects for the effective quantum yield and antagonistic for the total carbohydrates content of the alga, highlighting the importance of studies that consider metal interactions in ecotoxicological assessments. Mn and Cr led to different microalgae responses regarding the lipid class composition: Mn caused an increase in the levels of aliphatic hydrocarbons (HC), ketone (KET), free fatty acids (FFA), free sterol (ST), and acetone-mobile polar lipids (AMPL), while Cr induced a reduction in triglycerides (TAG), ST and AMPL. In the existing literature, many of the operational security representations in Optimal Power Flow (OPF) problems are too conservative, first or second-order approximations, with high computational costs and/or even ineffective. In this context, a practical VSSC-OPF problem whose voltage stability/security representation is designated by a functional approximation characterized by Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) with feature selection is proposed in this research project, making it possible the use of Nonlinear Programming (NLP) resolution methodologies. This research project is methodologically founded on determining voltage stability/security limits associated with power system loading margins accounting for saddle-node and limit induced bifurcations and technical-operational limits on transmission lines; in the inclusion of feature selection for the functional approximation of such limits by ANN; the incorporation of this functional approximation into the VSSC-OPF problem and the resolution of the resulting NLP problem. To accomplish this, the main concepts on power system operational voltage stability/security, mid-term energy procurement auction systems in electricity markets and resolution of NLP problems will be outlined by means of a background review on these subjects. The ANN training and validation processes will be realized on Jupyter Notebook, and the proposed model will be implemented in the AMPL modeling language for mathematical programs and solved by LOQO solver. The functional approximation of power system voltage stability/security limits and the proposed VSSC-OPF model will be validated by numerical tests with test systems commonly deployed for this task in the correlate literature.
