Introduction: When living with a relative with HIV/AIDS, the family demonstrates particularities and singularities in its functioning, which is permeated by a system of beliefs, which have great force on its members and on family functioning, having important healing and suffering in the family. General objective: To describe facilitating and restrictive beliefs about the treatment of adult patients with HIV/AIDS, from the perspective of family members who live with the problem. Methodology: Qualitative research with three family members, through semi-structured interviews in remote format, with thematic content analysis of data. Results: The beliefs of the family members in this study revealed that living with AIDS or being positive for the virus becomes normal when it involves maintaining the daily routine and quality of life, believing in the longevity of life in the face of therapeutic alternatives, having affective attitudes and caring not to contaminate the people around, demystify preconceptions and prejudices, which can be understood as beliefs that facilitate treatment and adherence. However, during the discovery of the diagnosis of the disease, negative and positive feelings and emotions permeated, which could be recognized as both restrictive and facilitating beliefs, depending on the family's behavior in the face of the discovery and the therapeutic process. Final considerations: Both restrictive and facilitating beliefs permeated the period of discovery of the diagnosis, but the family members sought to face and overcome such adversities, trying to break the restrictive beliefs, through religious and spiritual beliefs, valuing the treatment and promoting family cohesion.

Interpretação e realização do eletrocardiograma: pré e pós conhecimento de estudantes de enfermagem
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-01-24) Gastaldi, Amanda Adabo; Girão, Fernanda Berchelli; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9999840170649511; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7183063604582342
This work aims to analyze the knowledge of nursing students about the interpretation and performance of the electrocardiogram before and after the online training. This is an exploratory, descriptive, cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach. Carried out in four stages: 1) Application of four pre-theoretical training questionnaires; 2) Construction of an educational material on electrocardiogram interpretation and heart rhythm recognition; 3) Online theoretical training; 4) Application of the post-training questionnaire to assess its effectiveness, aiming to assess changes in theoretical and cognitive knowledge about ECG interpretation and heart rhythm recognition in different contexts of health services. We sought to summarize and organize the data obtained through descriptive statistical analysis, carried out by the Microsoft Excel® Software. The sample consisted of 28 (100%) nursing students, on the theoretical guidance on ECG received during graduation, 10 (35.7%) of the students received adequate guidance and, after theoretical training, 23 (82.1% ) students considered the guidelines adequate; 7 (25%) of the students knew how to differentiate an ECG within the normality of the exam with alterations, which increased to 22 (78.6%) after training. Regarding the competence to differentiate an ECG within the normality of exam with alterations, 7 (25%) of the students knew how to differentiate, which increased to 22 (78.6%) after training. As for the interpretation of the ECG and recognition of heart rhythms, there was a significant increase in the percentage of correct answers, and the pre-training questionnaire ranged from 3 (10.7%) to 20 (71.4%), while in the post-training period it ranged from a minimum from 17 (60.7%) correct answers to 28 (100%). There was a clear improvement in the performance of students before and after theoretical training. It was concluded that the performance, analysis and interpretation of the ECG is essential for the training to be qualified and for these students to become qualified health professionals and avoid possible complications that can be identified in time to carry out an immediate intervention as long as there is knowledge and decision making. The importance of expanding training in this area is also highlighted so that nursing students can be qualified as professionals.

(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-01-24) Costa, Nadia Maria Santos; Girão, Fernanda Berchelli; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9999840170649511; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3895143537829261
Objective: To characterize the requests for population care related to cardiovascular diseases to the Mobile Emergency Care Service of a city in the interior of São Paulo. Method: Retrospective study, developed at the Medical Regulation Center of the Mobile Emergency Service of a municipality located in the interior of São Paulo in the southeastern region of the country. Results: In the months of January to June 2021, 329 (100%) requests for assistance were made for Cardiovascular Diseases, the largest number of requests for assistance corresponds to Unstable Angina and Acute Myocardial Infarction, with 105 (31.9%) of the total of attendances, about 74 (22.5%) correspond to requests classified as hypertensive crisis. When the age group is stratified, requests for female patients predominate, with an occurrence greater than or equal to male patients in all months, except in the month of April in the age group between 41-50 years, regarding the care for Acute Coronary Syndrome male patients prevailed in greater numbers in January, February, March, May and June, regardless of the age group analyzed. Conclusion: The study characterized the requests for population care related to cardiovascular diseases to the Mobile Emergency Care Service of a city in the interior of São Paulo. Male sex is associated with higher rates of occurrence of Cardiovascular Diseases and the highest rates of requests occurred due to Hypertensive Crisis and Systemic Arterial Hypertension together with Acute Coronary Syndrome. In this sense, the characterization of requests from the mobile emergency care service can collaborate with the prevention work with the population as well as the monitoring of reference services.
