listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Schema.org para representação nos catálogos digitais: a descoberta de recursos informacionais na Web(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-05-12) Machado, Dayane Onaga Ferreira; Arakaki, Ana Carolina Simionato; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9896600626524397; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4395258254330647Introduction: The web search engines provide access to the multitude of available information, with dynamic, accurate and visually enriched results. Due to these characteristics, contemporary users are used to the practicality and dynamism offered by open and intuitive environments such as the Web. It is necessary to rethink the descriptive treatment in the catalogs since the architecture of the current software available for libraries and the communication protocols used do not allow interoperability with search engines or with other sources of information external to the bibliographic domain. In contrast, the Web offers a set of technologies focused on discovery and communication between different domains, one of these technologies is the Schema.org vocabulary. Objective: The objective of the research is to analyze Schema.org as an alternative for representing informational resources in catalogs, identifying the main characteristics and possible benefits and challenges of vocabulary adherence in the context of libraries. Methodological procedures: This study is theoretical in nature, carried out from a qualitative approach. From the point of view of the objectives, it is characterized as descriptive and in relation to the technical procedures, as bibliographic and documentary, aiming to explore the intersection between the themes, digital catalogs and Schema.org. Results: It was identified that the vocabulary has limitations for representation in specific domains, as in the case of libraries. However, the guidelines and structure of Schema.org are flexible, allowing the development of extensions, the classes, properties, and relationships can be adapted for representation in different contexts. Schema.org vocabulary can be used with encodings recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) for structured data. In this way, it is possible to discover information in Rich Snippets and integrate the data into the Knowledge Graph. With these technologies, search results are enriched with additional elements. It was identified that in the bibliographic universe, Schema.org was included in the Online Computer Library Center projects and aligned with Linked Data principles for structuring and discovering WorldCat records. Conclusion: It is considered that the adherence of Schema.org together with the representation instruments developed within the scope of libraries can favor the exposure of catalog data on the Web. Thus, in addition to benefiting from technologies aligned with the scope of the Semantic Web, libraries can contribute to its development by sharing structured, relevant, and reliable information.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Transesterificação heterogênea catalisada por sílicas contendo sítios básicos e cátions cetilvinilimidazólio(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-05-12) Eid, Janaina Guedes; Cardoso, Dilson; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2462847535959232; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5733877959495661Homogeneous catalysis is the most used process in the production of biodiesel, although this process has several disadvantages such as: the catalyst cannot be easily reused and requires parallel processes for separation and neutralization. Thus, mesoporous molecular sieves stand out as heterogeneous catalysts, due to their physicochemical properties and have been preferentially studied as catalysts. Among the mesoporous molecular sieves, the family called M41S can be highlighted, with emphasis on MCM-41. MCM-41 hybrid silicas, containing cationic surfactants in their mesopores, have very strong basic sites, capable of promoting transesterification reactions. However, these materials have low catalytic stability, which hinders their reuse. Thus, this work aimed to evaluate the stability of MCM-41 hybrid silicas synthesized with a polymerizable surfactant, 1 cetyl 3 vinylimidazolium bromide (CVIMBr). The CVIMBr surfactant was synthesized by the quaternization reaction between 1-vinylimidazole and 1 bromohexadecane. The CVIM-MCM-41 hybrid silicas were synthesized, polymerized using ultraviolet irradiation, and evaluated in catalysis of the model transesterification reaction of ethyl acetate with methanol. The characterization results confirmed the formation of the CVIMBr surfactant. XRD analysis of hybrid silicas, containing CVIM+ cations, showed that the materials presented a typical structure of MCM 41. The CVIM MCM-41 and CTA-MCM-41 hybrid silicas were evaluated in catalysis of the model transesterification reaction of ethyl acetate with methanol. CVIM-MCM-41 showed lower catalytic activity but showed greater catalytic stability up to five successive uses. As the silica containing CTA+ cations showed good catalytic activity, and the silicas containing CVIM+ cations showed an improvement in stability, silicas were synthesized with different proportions of the CTABr and CVIMBr surfactants, in order to achieve a high catalytic activity and maintain stability. Thus, the catalytic activity of these silicas decreases with the content of CVIM+ cations and catalytic stability was reached when the hybrid silica was synthesized with 30% of the CVIM+ cations and 70% of the CTA+ cations.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, ScraperCI: um protótipo de Web scraper para coleta de dados(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-05-12) Graciano, Helton Luiz dos Santos; Ramalho, Rogério Aparecido Sá; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5602653417743793; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6704031539568694The technological development experienced in the last decades, the popularization of the internet and the massive production of information resources of the most varied types, has provided significant changes that culminated in the transformation of the Web environment. The objective of this research is to contribute to the expansion of the perception of the advantages of using data collection tools in the information retrieval process, using Web scrapers. The research is characterized as applied, exploratory and descriptive, with a qualitative approach that aims to identify the potential of using Web scrapers in the information retrieval process. As a result, a Web scraper prototype and a practical demonstration of its use were prepared in the Python programming language. It is concluded that the use of the Web scraper can favor the retrieval of information, expanding the possibilities and bringing greater productivity regarding the extraction of informational resources on the Web. This research will contribute to a greater understanding of the potential of using Web scrapers for data collection and will serve as a stimulus for information professionals to develop new skills and innovative possibilities for professional activity.
