listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Choosing Wisely Brazil initiative for Women’s Health/Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy: study protocol(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-11-16) Driusso, Patricia; Reis, Felipe José Jandre dos; Rodrigues, Jessica Cordeiro; Pasqualotto, Luisa; Catai, Camila Chiazuto; Mascarenhas, Lilian Rose; Botelho, Simone; Jorge, Cristine Homsi; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8898319491890063INTRODUCTION: The Choosing Wisely initiative aims to promote discussions among health professionals and patients to reduce low-value care that confers no benefit or can cause harm to health. OBJECTIVE: To describe the process for developing the Brazilian Choosing Wisely list for Women’s Health/Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy. METHODS: The research will be conducted in three stages. In the first stage, physical therapists with experience in women’s health/pelvic floor will be invited to compose a panel of experts and respond to a form. The Delphi method will be used to derive a list of evidence-based statements. In the second stage, members of the research team will review all the recommendations provided by the expert panel. In the third stage, a sample of physical therapists will vote on the previously selected statements. The recommendations with the most votes in the national survey will be submitted to Choosing Wisely Brazil, and a final list of recommendations will be published.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Os descaminhos de Mnemosine: exílio e memória na obra de Elisa Lispector(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-11-16) Jacintho, Nicolas Ferreira Neves; Marques, Wilton José; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5763590592946918; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2959685678855575The research aims to study the way in which the themes of memory and exile intertwine in the novels Além da Fronteira (1945) and No exílio (1948), both by Elisa Lispector and inserted in a context of literary production connected to the displacement of Jewish families to Brazil during the first decades of the 20th century. The literature that flourished at that time built an imaginary geography derived from the impossibility of returning and based on some thematic and narrative elements linked to exile and memory. Therefore, it is proposed as a hypothesis that the novels to be analyzed are structured through narrativized memories, so that the reflections of Maurice Halbwachs in A memória coletiva (2006), and of Paul Ricoeur on memory as a narrative operation, as proposed in A memória, a história, o esquecimento (2007) will be central to this dissertation. Finally, thanks to the relationship between memory and exile, Maria José de Queiroz's analysis of exile in Os males da ausência ou a literatura do exílio (1998) will be extremely importante for the progress of this work, as well as the reflections of George Simmel in O estrangeiro (2005) and Donatella di Cesare in Estrangeiros residentes (2020).listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Estudo documental do currículo paulista na área de química do ensino médio em perspectiva crítica de atuação docente(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-11-16) Jortieke Junior, João Ricardo; Calzolari Neto, Anselmo João; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4906309581958797; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3030602547312886This research was supported by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (known as CAPES). Given recent political events and the approval, in recent years, of new curricular guidelines, it is essential to seek evidence in academic research that allows reflections on such educational policies to encourage questions and discussions for teaching activities in the classroom. With proposals, identified in a bibliographic survey, which come closer and closer to a behavioral approach to human development, the teaching role in the practical manifestation of the document becomes increasingly rigid. With the intention of providing ways of transforming these technical conditions, this research aims to analyze the proposal present in the Paulista Curriculum for High School, approved in 2020. More directly, the Support Material for Planning and Practices in Deepening (known as MAPPA, in portuguese), responsible for bringing practical guidelines to the Formative Itineraries (FI), specifically those aimed at Teaching Chemistry. Documentary Research was used as the main methodological basis and Content Analysis, with a quantitative and qualitative perspective, as a form of data analysis. Through a content analysis based on linguistics, it was possible to form thematic Registration Units (RU) focused on “suggestions” and “demands” of practices, in addition to observing the existence of vocatives in each of the RUs. Almost 60% of the RUs concern practices required by the MAPPA while conducting the FI. Talking about suggestions, the RU indicates that freedom of practice is provided only for the selection of didactic materials, experiments and other teaching resources. About the chemical knowledge, it was possible to highlight an discrepancy in the organization of the different curricular components of the FI, with some containing only four objects of knowledge and others having more than thirty.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Narrativas (auto)biográficas e a formação matemática de pedagogos no contexto do Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência - PIBID: diálogos entrecruzados e pesquisa-formação(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-11-16) Marcondes, Luis Gustavo Rodrigues; Nakayama, Bárbara Cristina Moreira Sicardi; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9746628149674449; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3052680155069516This research, guided by the (auto)biographical approach, is concerned with the identification of marks in the professional teaching constitution resulting from processes of initial teacher education involving undergraduate students in Pedagogy at Universidade Federal de São Carlos - campus - Sorocaba, participants of the Institutional Program of Scholarship Incentive to Teaching (PIBID), inserted in a collaborative space of research-training focused on mathematics education that has as a reflection device the (auto)biographical writing. As a general objective, we seek to understand the marks provided by research-training spaces focused on Mathematics Education within the Institutional Program for Scholarship Initiation to Teaching, which have as a research device the (auto)biographical narratives within a collaborative process of initial training of early years' teachers. The methodology of data production is guided by the autobiographical and project workshops of Delory-Momberger (2006), the seminars and research and training groups proposed by Josso (2004) and the reflective groups discussed by Passeggi (2011). Data analysis and discussion took place in light of the concepts of interpretive-comprehensive analysis proposed by Souza (2014). The writings produced in the context of this research culminated in units of analysis that encompass cultural, social, and political aspects that drove relevant meanings for spaces of initial teacher education anchored in a collaborative movement. The observed marks show that the writing of the self as a training device contributes significantly to the construction of the teaching identity of educators in initial training and its relation to the teaching of mathematics. A collaborative space of formation allows these future professionals to redefine their lived experiences and thus, to move towards the awareness of a reflective, critical and meaningful teaching practice, having as a guide their life and training trajectories.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Joaquim Gomes de Souza e as disparidades no reconhecimento acadêmico no Brasil e na Europa(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-11-16) Coury, Aline Germano Fonseca; Vilela, Denise Silva; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8155152145332951; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4688805153426529The history of mathematics in Brazil maintained an almost mythical image of Joaquim Gomes de Souza (1829-1864), a Brazilian mathematician who received his doctoral degree in Mathematics in 1848. Acclaimed and considered a genius in Brazil, this mathematician had his works rejected in the scientific academies in Europe. This research aims to study his papers Mémoire sur la détermination de fonctions inconnues qui rentrent sous le signe d’intégration définie (1855) and On the determination of unknown functions which are involved under definite integrals (1856), submitted to the Royal Society of London and the Académie de Sciences de Paris, respectively. This study associates mathematical and sociological aspects of the referee’s report on the paper submitted. Does the mathematical correctness justify the non-recommendation to publication, or could it be related with discrimination or other political interferences in the decision? How can we comprehend the mismatch between his national recognition, on one hand, and the rejection in Europe, on the other? We shall use methods and concepts of historiography and sociology of science, including the prosopography and history of mathematics. The field theory of Bourdieu is used to identify the position of this Brazilian and other Europeans mathematicians in the social space. The results indicates that the rejection is due more to social reasons rather than the mathematics developed by Souzinha.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Potenciais legais e ambientais de uma área para loteamento residencial: obstáculos e oportunidades(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-11-16) Santos, Luiz Fernando dos; Fajardo, Poliana Arruda; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6679206417866918; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7641396794722366With the accelerated urbanization and the effects of the Industrial Revolution, the anthropic actions on the environment have had their deleterious effects increased due to the imbalance between population, environmental resources, and pollution. The terrestrial, aquatic, and atmospheric environments suffer adverse impacts generated by human activities that must be avoided or mitigated. Land use and occupation must be preceded by Environmental and Urban Planning, which ultimately aims to balance the environment, society and the economy in an arrangement known as the triple bottom line (3BL). It is in this context that the proposed work is inserted, having as its objective to analyze whether there is legal and environmental potential for the realization of an adequate environmental and urban planning in an area destined for the construction of a residential subdivision. To this end, research was conducted on all legislation of interest - environmental and urban planning - in order to verify whether its application can generate positive and lasting results throughout the area studied, its surroundings and its area of influence. The present work was carried out while following the development of a Feasibility Study that aimed at implementing a residential subdivision in a certain area, considering that the lack of adequate Urban Planning affects the environmental quality, causing problems of various kinds, such as public health, urban spatial planning and natural ecosystems. Thus, from the case study proposed by Feasibility Study, the effectiveness of the Principles of Environmental Legislation is confronted at all times in order to achieve the highest goal: environmental sustainability.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A violação dos direitos humanos nas redes sociais: o devir no crocodilo de Dostoiévski(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-11-16) Fonseca, Talitha Camargo da; Furnival, Ariadne Chloe Mary; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1291482506649810; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7532959507005281This dissertation is the result of dissatisfaction with the way we are dealing with the digital society, building it at great strides which are unattainable by the legislation of each State. What we see is a dispute over whether or not global digital technology companies are responsible for infringing content published by third parties, even if it violates human dignity. We contextualize the research with elements of data colonialism theory for the understanding of contemporary capitalism; along with the UN decision in 2011 to recognize internet access as a human right. Thus, the objective of this research was to present and discuss, with legal and literary support, cases of human rights violations experienced by Brazilian users of social networks. The primary and secondary questions that drove the research are: Are there cases of human rights violations in social networks? If so: Are there practical and effective judicial measures to stop violations and hold violators accountable? As hypotheses, we have that, first, there is a failure in the protection of the user, which constitutes a flagrant violation of fundamental and human rights in these digital environments, specifically in social networks. And secondly, that there is difficulty in maintaining a balance in the relationship between digital technology companies and States. Regarding the methodological procedures, bibliographic and document research was used, the latter focusing on the identification and collection, from the São Paulo Court of Justice (TJSP), of judgments involving application companies, in the resolution of false profile authorships. The analysis of the judgments used the content analysis method proposed by Laurence Bardin. And, to bring a nodal point between capitalism and formal education, we use Dostoevsky's novella The Crocodile as a metaphorical bridge, using socio-historical analysis, apprehending that the writer predicted the future of the voracious hunger of the foreign capitalist in an abstraction that would swallow up human dignity. The research results reveal that the historical tension between different social classes, racial groups – symptoms of an unequal world and country, such as Brazil – is reflected in the digital world. And this reflection, in turn, is manifested in the legislation produced, in the judgments and in the global appropriation of elites who, once extractive of natural assets, are now extractive of data produced by humans, exercising yet another way of plundering fundamental rights of connected populations.
