“A vida deve passá diante dos meus ói num instante”: memórias fragmentadas e construção de uma identidade brasileira em "Roseira, Medalha , Engenho e outras Histórias”

Esta monografía se propone analizar la obra Roseira, Medalha, Engenho e Outras Histórias, una historieta que se encuentra en la frontera entre la realidad y la ficción sobre el pasado de la familia del autor Jefferson Costa. El HQ aborda la historia de dos familias que vivían en el interior del noreste entre las décadas de 1950 y 1970, parte de estas familias decidieron venir al Estado de São Paulo en busca de mejores condiciones de educación y trabajo, esta historia va en contra de los movimientos migratorios que sucedió a miles de personas en este período. La primera parte de este trabajo analiza cómo surgió y qué cambios se produjeron a lo largo de los años en el mercado editorial de historietas en Brasil para que los autores más plurales pudieran tener una voz. La segunda parte presenta el sustento teórico para el análisis. La tercera parte presenta un análisis de la obra que enfatiza el momento histórico a través del trabajo del antropólogo Darcy Ribeiro (2015), quien presenta una teoría de un Brasil formado por cinco pueblos fundadores; y el concepto de Memoria Individual y Memoria Colectiva propuesto por Maurice Halbwachs (2006). La base para el análisis del Ethos se sustenta en el marco teórico formulado por Dominique Maingueneau, al que se refiere como Ethos Discursivo, noción que emerge de la comprensión de las Escenas de Enunciación, a partir de las cuales trabajaremos con la categoría de Hipergénero (2006, 2008, 2015, respectivamente), con la ayuda del trabajo paradigmático de Ruth Amossy (2020) sobre Ethos previo.
Estudo da eficiência energética no núcleo de laboratórios de Engenharia da UFSCar

Energy efficiency has become a relevant factor in studies and analysis of actions aimed at saving electricity in buildings. Given this scenario, the purpose of this work is to carry out a case study in the core of engineering laboratories at the Federal University of São Carlos. For this, the constructive characteristics of elements of the façade, electrical loads and the profile of the users were analyzed, through the simulation of a representative model of the building, and suggested actions aiming to reduce the consumption of energy. As a result, it was observed that a simple change of colors on the facades of the walls and on the roof managed to reduce the energy required for cooling and heating the building by 23.3%. On the other hand, the addition of internal plaster coating and air chamber on the east and west side walls brought a reduction of only 0.49%, being the measure with the lowest impact observed. Therefore, the study shows that it is possible to obtain reductions in energy consumption through energy efficiency actions, and that simple measures can already bring positive results.

With the growth of the world population, the demand for agricultural areas has reached the limits of sustainability. It is then urgent to increase the efficiency of plantations, producing a more significant amount of crop without increasing the planted areas. In this context, the area of Precision Farming has emerged, integrating state-of-the-art technologies into agricultural systems. One of the most demanded cultivars is sugarcane, used both as food and biofuel. In sugarcane harvesting, the precision of a few centimetres is required to prevent the cultivars from being crushed by the harvesters. The autonomous harvesters are guided by satellite positioning systems, whose precision can reach several meters. One proposed solution is to use unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with cameras and other sensors capable of providing real-time information to the harvesters. This work shows the development of image analysis for estimating crop orientation by two heuristic approach using some well-know processing techniques. To validate the solution architecture, an aerial image set was acquired and labeled by experts. To create a robust ground truth, a methodology for fusion of experts voting was used. With the ground truth, the estimating technique was validated, and its implementation was analyzed, presenting performance and quality within the application requirements.
O ensino de Pa Tuan Chin para estudantes de medicina: como, por que e para que?

O Pa Tuan Chin (Baduanjin) é uma prática corporal da Medicina Tradicional Chinesa, que consiste em oito exercícios baseados na teoria do QiGong: regular o corpo, a respiração, a mente, o Qi (energia) e o espírito. Sabe- se que os estudantes de medicina passam por diversos momentos de tensão, cansaço e desânimo; sintomas depressivos são frequentes devido a uma intensa jornada e grande competitividade durante o curso. Com eles, praticou-se o Pa Tuan Chin com o objetivo de treinar mente, corpo e espírito, difundir a técnica e fornecer conhecimento teórico e prático sobre as propriedades terapêuticas da série. As práticas foram realizadas durante o ano de 2019 e o primeiro semestre de 2020. O primeiro período de trabalho contou com um grupo pequeno de participantes, que cresceu exponencialmente nos semestres seguintes. O aumento do interesse de estudantes e profissionais da saúde é consequência dos benefícios relatados pelos participantes. O Pa Tuan Chin demonstrou o seu valor não só na prática de exercício físico, mas também na formação de competências úteis para os futuros profissionais de saúde.
Escuta ética e protagonismo infantil em contextos de violência contra crianças: uma análise da produção acadêmica

The objective of this dissertation was to analyze the way in which ethical listening is put on the agenda in research that addresses violence against children, considering Baruch Spinoza's concept of Ethics, which is based on relationships and affections. It starts from the theoretical framework of Sociology of Childhood, which focuses on children as protagonists, with specific rights that fall within the dimensions of Provision, Protection, and Participation. From this point of view, the existing impasse between Protection and Participation is problematized, especially with regard to contexts of violence against children. That is, we evaluated if the children’s rights are being respected in research cases that address violence against children. This research is bibliographical in nature, based on a collection of documents retrieved from the UNICEF, SciELO, Redalyc, and Anped databases, as well as a number of books and thematic dossiers containing articles and concept entries, with aims to raise and analyze the discussions that fall within two central axes: ethical listening and violence against children. Results show that, when discussing ethical listening with children and adults who suffered situations of violence during childhood, in the Health area, the guidelines are more related to resolution 466/2012, confidentiality, and the Free and Informed Consent Term. These are important requirements for the Research Ethics Committee, but they do not have many specifications about under which circumstances these researches are carried out. In research in the area of Education/Sociology of Childhood, discussions about listening go beyond the requirements of the Ethics Committee. There is also a discussion about the intervention of the researcher in the field and how they can build a trusting relationship with children. However, in cases involving the theme of violence, the discussion requires care. We present some possible propositions based on reflections of the researched authors on what should be considered in a research with children, namely when we are referring to the ethics of research with children in situations of violence. The propositions presented at the end of this dissertation are: to use secondary elements; to not rely on assumptions and stereotypes; to exercise specialized listening; to mobilize the family in specific circumstances, and to go beyond protocol ethics. The importance and timeliness of this debate is highlighted, both in the sense of expanding it, and in the sense of bringing subsidies to guarantee the fulfillment of the fundamental rights of children, especially those who are victims of violence, to the same extent that we expand listening ethics, with the children and for the children.
Projeto, manufatura e validação de um sistema de medição de altura por perfilômetro a laser

This work carries out the design of a system for measuring the relative height of a component using methods of problem solving. Initially, the analysis of a system for measuring height by camera with the aid of the Ishikawa Diagram was performed to identify the root causes of approval of parts outside the tolerance range. Then a CAD (Computer Aided Design) model of the new system was created, which uses a laser profiler to solve the vulnerabilities of the other method and contains parts designed to be produced by additive manufacturing of extrusion of thermoplastic material. Needed parts are manufactured, the new system assembled and than subjected to statistical analysis of process quality and means of measurement using the SixSigma methodology. Scatter, frequency and amplitude graphs were obtained with results of Cg, Cgk and %GRR being better than expected, validating the process and the system as capable.
Nano-CBD: sistemas nanoestruturados para liberação controlada de canabinoides

Nanotechnology has enhanced in many fields of knowledge in the last decades, being materials engineering the basis for implementing nanostructures and upgrading of a long list of physicochemical properties of materials. Modern medicine has been adapted on the treatment of several diseases of the 21st century with studies of the Cannabis sativa pharmacology that led to the discovery of cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system in mammals, bringing back ancestral medicines with the modern concepts applying and exploring practices that used to be explained just mystically and that are now explained scientifically. Nanostructured systems developed for drug delivery systems of cannabinoids (e.g., micelles, nanoparticles, liposomes, and dendrimers) unify the knowledges of older and nowadays societies through the drug carriers applied into cannabinoids (nano-CBD) produced by specific techniques of manufacturing (emulsification, ionic gelication and miniemulsion polymerizations) using biocompatible materials (e.g. PEG, PLA, PAA, HPMC, CS, silicates and CD). Considering it, the present text offers a basement review of technical and scientifical literature about most relevant methods to produce nanostructured systems to drug delivery of cannabinoids.
