The creation and planning of protected natural areas contribute to the conservation and protection of natural diversity and reduce deforestation. Thus, the Conservation Units (UCs) can be essential in the search for this conservation, coupled with the population’s involvement, especially in the surrounding area. This involvement has been encouraged through public use due to the potential awareness it can bring to society, besides the support for environmental issues through the conciliation of leisure activities and tourism. However, when talking about ecotourism or sustainable tourism in UCs, it is essential to highlight that the dimensions of sustainability (economic, sociocultural, environmental, and politico institutional) will be influenced by tourism activities due to the impacts that the activity provides, whether direct or indirect, positive or negative. For this reason, it is crucial to internalize Environmental Education (EE) and Environmental Interpretation (EI) as tools to promote this awareness and involvement. Knowing the visitors’ profile, their main visitation interests, and their main demands makes it possible to provide public use planning. This planning can occur through the Visitation Opportunities List (ROVUC), which is a tool for inventorying the different existing or potential visitation opportunities, helping in the diversification, implementation guidance, and promotion of the most appropriate management of natural environments in order to provide the desired visitation experiences in the UC. For this reason, the methodology adopted for this work was using the ROVUC tool to inventory the existing natural attractions with ecotourism potential in the Carajás National Forest (FLONA), located in the state of Pará, in the Amazon forest biome. The qualification of the interpretive potential of public use and the description of the main themes of environmental interpretation addressed in ecotourism routes and with ecotourism potential was carried out. From the methodology, it was possible to evidence the existing attractions, identifying possible themes that can be used in the environmental interpretation of each attraction and their potential for public use of activities that are not yet performed. Thus, it is also expected that this work can contribute to the expansion/revision of the Program for Public Use of the Management Plan of the UC studied, contributing to the development of the Political Pedagogical Project - PPPEA, through the inventory of existing and potential attractions and activities in Carajas National Forest, thus enabling a diversified and ordered route by the degree, thus providing a better experience in visitation and contributing to the strategic planning of the respective FLONA.

Complexos fosfínicos de Ru(II)/mercaptos contendo ligantes N,N-heterocíclicos: atividade citotóxica e mecanismo de ação
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-12-16) Oliveira, Leticia Pires de; Batista, Alzir Azevedo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6469642481998660; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1757837020498375
The main objectives of this study were the synthesis, characterization and biological studies of two series of ruthenium phosphine compounds containing different mercapto ligands, and contrasting in N,N-heterocyclic ligands in the coordination sphere. The series of compounds designated as series 1, consisted of seven compounds with general formula [Ru(NS)(dppb)(pyphen)]Cl (A1-A3) and [Ru(NS)(dppb)(pyphen)]PF6 (A4-A7), where dppb= 1,4’-bis(diphenylphosphine)butane; pyphen= 2-(pyren-1-yl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline; NS= 2-mercaptopyridine (pyS, A1 and A4), 2-mercaptothiazoline (tzdt, A2 and A5), 2-mercaptopyrimidine (pySm, A3 and A6), and 4,6-diamino-2-mercaptopyrimidine (damp, A7). The series 2, comprise three compounds, of general formula [Ru(NS)(dppb)(phen)]PF6 (A8-A10), where phen= 1,10-phenanthroline and NS (mercapto ligands)= pyS, tzdt and pySm. The precursor compound of Series 1, [RuCl2(dppb)(pyphen)], was characterized, and the results show that the compound probably presents conformational isomerism that is not verified on the free ligand or final complexes. The compounds of both series were analyzed by usual characterization techniques, such as elemental analyses, conductimetry, spectroscopic in the ultraviolet/visible and infrared, cyclic voltammetry, 1H, 13C{1H} and 31P{1H} nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction. The cytotoxic potential of compounds was evaluated against histologically distinct tumor lineages, MDA-MB-231 and MCF-7 (breast tumor lineages), A549 (lung adenocarcinoma tumor lineage), A2780 and A2780cis (ovarian tumor lineages), and against non-tumor lineages, MCF-10A (breast cell lineage) and MRC-5 (lung fibroblast cell line). This evaluation allows us to infer that the modification on the N,N-heterocyclic ligand resulted in smaller cytotoxic potential to compounds of series 1 than series 2. Despite this, the compounds of series 1 presented significant cytotoxicity in ovarian tumor cell lineages, exhibiting selectivity to this cell type, and a selectivity index of at least 2 with respect A2780cis and MRC-5 lines. The compounds of series 2 exhibited IC50 values significant, compared to the precursor and cisplatin, with similar activities between compounds to cell lines evaluated. Greater cytotoxic potential was displayed against MDA-MB-231 and A2780cis cell lineages, mainly complex A9 due its higher selectivity index. After analyzing the cytotoxic activity, the compounds were analyzed for possible interaction with biological targets, that can act how the stimulus triggers the cell death process or in the pharmacokinetics of compounds. All the complexes present reversible and weak interactions with DNA, mostly occurring in the minor groove of the biomolecule. The complexes were not capable alter the secondary and tertiary structure of DNA, therefore the interaction occurs weak and DNA is possibly not the determinant target to the compounds’ cytotoxicity. The compounds of Series 2 showed partial inhibition of the catalytic activity of the enzyme Topo IIα, while in the compounds of Serie 1 no inhibition of activity from this enzyme, which could be a way to justify the differential in cytotoxicity. Finally, the interaction with HSA showed that this protein can be associated with pharmacokinetics to the compounds, carrying them until the biological action site, with interaction through the Sudlow I site of human serum albumin protein. Studies with compounds A6 and A7 of Series 1, and A9 of Series 2, demonstrated the compounds could induce morphological changes that indicates cell death, the compounds exhibit cytostatic and cytotoxic effects on the cell lines analyzed, affect structures necessary for the metastatic cascade, and finally, exhibit apoptosis as cell death mechanism.

We start from the assumption that learning how to teach is a continuous process, which occurs throughout life and does not exclusively refer to stagnant training moments, and that the quality of educational processes is, among other factors, related to the teacher and his/her teaching. In the context of deaf education, the "deaf teacher" has a central role in this discussion. Thus, we seek to analyze the teaching learning process of three deaf teachers who work with children in kindergarten and the first years of elementary school. In chapter one, we discuss questions about the field of teacher training, with regard to teaching learning concepts (Mizukami, Marcelo, Vaillant, Tancredi, Imbernón), reflective processes (Zeichner, Knowles, Cole and Presswood, Day), formative experiences (Josso), among others. We associate this with the discussion on aspects related to the specificity and challenges of learning to teach deaf teachers (Lacerda, Martins, Goes and Lodi). The research is based on a qualitative approach, with (auto)biographical sources. The narratives were produced in four phases (initial narratives; deepening; narrative interview and analysis). For analysis, three axes were established: "early times of life, schooling and significant learning"; "professional training, career insertion and significant learning" and "continuous professional development and significant learning". The investigation process allowed us to know the thoughts of the teachers, their life stories, their professional contexts, and offered evidence of their formative experiences. The teachers highlighted: sign language as a foundation in all aspects of their trajectories; the centrality of deaf students in their teaching actions; the school as a locus of professional training; the importance of support from teachers and experienced professionals during the period of initiation into teaching; among other significant experiences for their teaching learning processes. Faced with these considerations, the study indicates the importance that, in the implementation of training processes, in different areas, be taken into account: the specific needs of deaf teachers, the impossibility of separating personal and professional dimensions and the potential of research with sources (auto)biographical for the personalization of these actions.

Context: The mutation test criterion stands out as an important alternative for evaluating both the software to be tested and the test set to be used. This criterion is considered effective, but it has some gaps that must be filled in relation to its efficiency, due to its high execution cost. There is a relatively high set of techniques that reduce their execution costs, aiming at their use in industry, but their results are not generally generalizable. Some studies related to cost reduction techniques presented heuristics whose objective is to calculate the similarities of the programs used, but not deeply studied. Objective: This work presents a systematic review of the literature that seeks to present the state of the art in mutation testing, the definition, creation and population of a database of artifacts, the implementation of an automated process for defining the Essential Set of mutation operators to help reduce the cost of running mutation testing. Methodology: The implementation presented in this work deals with programs written in the Java language and includes a set of variants that relate to three types of program abstractions (original source code, obfuscated source code, and internal complexity metrics), three calculation strategies of similarity (clustering, distance functions between strings, and plagiarism) and a mutation cost reduction approach (inspired by best operators and essential set techniques). The evaluation presented, using 221 classes written in the Java language, covers 20 configurations varying the techniques of program abstractions and similarities. Results: The implementation of a knowledge base of structured artifacts, automation of the technique of defining the Essential Set of Operators, a cross-comparison involving the clusters formed that tend to achieve high effectiveness in predicting the best mutation operators and essential set for untested programs with mutation testing and a statistical analysis evaluating the similarity between configuration results. Conclusions: Considering the configurations selected for the experiments, the results presented for the combinations using the essential sets technique for the comparison of effectiveness, highlighting the configurations that presented the best set of operators, use of new sizes for the reference clusters, an analytical analysis of the results associated with a statistical analysis using the variance technique to verify the equivalence between the sets of results.

Home visits require nurses to plan and be willing to take care of the care process, which is admittedly a complex practice that expands as the needs of mothers of high-risk newborns stand out, standing out as an effective tool for significantly reducing problems. social and health issues and as a commitment to the scope of parenthood. The general objective of this work is to investigate the support given to mothers in the home care of preterm and/or low birth weight newborns based on a nurse's home visit and recommendation for the use of the kangaroo position. The specific objectives were: To describe the needs of mothers of premature newborns and/or low birth weight newborns regarding the adoption of the kangaroo position and child care after hospital discharge; Propose a guiding document for nurses' home visits to mothers of premature and/or low birth weight newborns after hospital discharge;; Analyze maternal self-efficacy in caring for preterm and/or low birth weight children; Compare maternal self-efficacy at hospital discharge and at the end of home visits; Elucidate the perception of mothers of children born prematurely and/or with low birth weight in receiving a home visit from a nurse with guidance on the use of the kangaroo position. A mixed integrative, quantitative and qualitative study was proposed, with a concomitant transformative approach based on the methodological strategy of Case Study. The case was the relationship established by the nurse and the mother of a high-risk newborn during the home visit. The development of home visits took place from August 2020 to August 2021 in a city in the interior of São Paulo, where eight mothers of borderline or moderately premature and/or low birth weight infants received home visits from nurses every fortnight. The cases were recorded using an audio device and fully transcribed for study and analysis, as well as field notes were taken by the visiting nurses both from the home visits and from the contacts made by the mothers through electronic messaging. The cases were analyzed in the light of Meleis' Theory of Transitions and the Conceptual Basis of Care proposed by Ayres. At the beginning and end of maternal follow-up, the instrument “Preterm Parenting & Self-efficacy Checklist – Brazilian version” was applied. It was possible to highlight the domains "Confidence", "Importance" and "Success", which showed a statistically significant increase, and it can be inferred that there is an influence of the nurse's support on the daily care practices performed by the mother in the home environment, promoting better reach to maternal self-efficacy in the cases studied. In the qualitative analysis, it was possible to reach seven thematic units that deal with the transitional process of the mother of the newborn at risk established since the beginning of the pregnancy, where dreams are built and the feelings that surround motherhood are perceived. Premature birth and returning home is surrounded by fears and insecurities, where physical care is considered central to the child's well-being and progressive to the establishment of bonds and new ways of acting. Against the backdrop of the pandemic caused by the Sars-CoV-2 virus, the anxieties and threats to health, especially for newborns at risk, brought an additional component of concern to mothers who took this moment as a challenge to care. The maternal report permeates the care for the child and extends to the need to find adaptation in the midst of the changes caused by the arrival of the new member, however, little is verbalized and visualized as a woman, in this initial phase of returning home, in which the dimension of her care is involved by the projection of her responsibility of becoming a mother. In the midst of care, the father represents a central, participatory figure who plays an affective and supportive role for the mother. The kangaroo position was timidly highlighted based on the recognition of the benefits of the practice and professional support for the discoveries resulting from this new experience. The trajectory of care reveals, through lived experience, a conception of the health network that, in a peculiar way, codifies the organizations and recovers a lack in the ways of offering health services. Care for the newborn should start during prenatal care, emphasizing the importance of longitudinality and the relevance of moments in which there are exchanges of knowledge common to the period and which mean that these mothers are not void of knowledge at the time of the birth of the newborn. son, seeing themselves as mothers. The nurse's home visit focused on recognizing the kangaroo position favored empathetic care practices with the needs arising from the transitions that mothers of high-risk newborns go through, not attributing to them obligations and ways of acting that disregard them but offering a contact that supports difficulties that change over time and with child growth. It was possible to observe, as limitations of the study, the difficulty of accepting participation in the research at home due to interference from the family, social noise, maintenance of privacy, demands of the mother related to household chores, childcare and the pandemic by Sars-CoV-2. Thinking about parenting is a pressing process for health professionals and institutions with projections to the reception and relational space when becoming a mother and advancing to affective dimensions that can only be built as these women build their autonomy and allow themselves to deeply penetrate the bond between mother and child.

This thesis proposes a reflection on the experiences of children and their families in carrying out school activities in family settings in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021. We have attempted to understand and analyze the observed interactions with schools, in addition to understanding the routines of these families and identifying their perceptions about the specifics of pedagogical interventions conducted with four- and five-year-old children in collective spaces. The proposed study is characterized as qualitative research and the data are organized and analyzed through content analysis. The collection of field research data was carried out in five schools belonging to the Educational Network of the Municipality of Franca. To obtain the research data, semi-structured interviews were conducted with ten family members, two from each school unit in five regions of the city - North, South, East, West and Central. The data analyzed show that, in addition to disregarding the specificities of raising children, the proposal for distance learning in early childhood education, such as that which occurred in the Franca municipal education network, did not take into account the different realities of families, thereby exacerbating the stress caused by the pandemic households increases. The proposal for distance learning in early childhood education did not guarantee learning rights, it was not possible to guarantee experiences, interactions and games in the proposed distance learning. Thus, the data point to the need for changes in the educational practices offered in the preschool of the Franca/SP Municipal Educational Network, indicating a greater urgency to rethink early childhood education and childhood in the city.

Exotic species introduced in Brazil have been of great interest to the civil construction industry because, among their advantages, they have rapid growth and provide sustainability for intensively exploited native species. In reforestation activities, the use of the Eucalyptus genus is verified as it has several species used to generate products and by-products. It is important to emphasize that the knowledge of the mechanical properties of wood allows its rational application with greater safety and functionality in structural projects, however, the tests to determine these properties demand technical training and specific equipment, found only in developed research centers. An alternative to understand the properties of wood is the use of optical microscopy, consequently, in this study an Olympus EX51 microscope was used to determine the anatomical elements of wood, aiming to demonstrate the feasibility of estimating the mechanical properties of Eucalyptus wood as a function of its anatomical parameters and bulk density, through regression models. To carry out the analysis, 10 lots of Eucalyptus of different species were used, and the tests developed consisted of determining the bulk density, strength to compression parallel to the grain, strength to tensile parallel to the grain, strength to tensile normal to the grain, the modulus of elasticity in compression parallel to the grain, the modulus of elasticity in tensile parallel to the grain, shear strength parallel to the grain, shrinkage, as well as of anatomical parameters (fibers, vessels and radii) of the samples, according to the Brazilian standards ABNT NBR 7190 (1997) and ABNT NBR 15066 (2004). The proposed regression models were excellent, as the R² values were equal to 94.15, 92.95, 90.55, 86.55, 77.77 and 67.95% for estimating the modulus of elasticity in compression parallel to the grain, strength to compression parallel to the grain, modulus of elasticity in tensile parallel to the grain, strength to tensile parallel to the grain, shear strength parallel to the grain and strength to tensile normal to the grain, respectively.

In this research, the role of repositories is highlighted as an important tool at the service of Science, Technology and Society, thus streamlining the process of scientific communication and open access. It is necessary that scientists and researchers recognize the importance of these for the dissemination of the results of their research to their peers and to society. The present work has, as a general objective, to analyze the national and international scientific production on the subject institutional repository and to describe the Institutional Repository of the Federal Fluminense University (RiUFF) and the Digital Repository of the Federal University of Rio Grande do SUL (LUME). The research unfolds in the following specific objectives: to identify the main types of existing repositories in the scientific literature; investigate the main challenges for the development of repositories and for open access and relate the issue of institutional repositories within the scope of Brazilian federal universities. Methodologically, the research is configured as quantitative and qualitative with descriptive exploratory approaches. First, a document review was carried out on the following websites and directories: OpenDoar, Ranking Web of Repositories, ROARMAP, Portal e-MEC, OASIS.BR, websites of Brazilian federal universities, RiUFF and LUME. Afterwards, a literature review was carried out in the databases: RCAAP, BDTD, SCOPUS, Web of Science, SCIELO, REDALYC and BENANCIB. In a second moment, a case study was carried out, in the Institutional Repository of UFF (RiUFF) and in the Digital Repository of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (LUME). In order to analyze the RiUFF, the experience report method was adopted. In the results, the types of repositories were systematized, such as: digital, institutional, scientific, research data, preprints and learning objects. With the quantitative research in national and international bases and directories, through the results it was possible to identify that the scientific production on IR is predominant in the English language and that countries with a high economic and social level have a greater number of repositories. In quantitative research on the WEB OF SCIENCE, SCIELO and REDALYC, it appears that the area of knowledge that was most concerned with studying the repository theme was Information Science. In 2020 and 2021, with the COVID-19 pandemic, there is an increase in the scientific literature in articles in the databases. There is also an increase in repository initiatives in the pandemic context, in order to accelerate the process of communicating and disseminating Science. Through research on the institutional sites of Brazilian federal universities, it appears that 85% of them have repositories, which demonstrates a concern on the part of librarians, information professionals and researchers with the socialization of scientific knowledge. Regarding the literature on the subject of repository, it appears that universities and research institutions need more studies on the subject and a better systematization of the concepts of different types of repository in the scientific literature. Through the case study, it is identified that the institutional repository (RiUFF) needs better dissemination to the entire academic community and society in general. It appears that LUME is a successful initiative due to the institution's organizational culture

The production of cast-in-situ slabs for residential buildings is considered a critical activity in relation to ergonomics and risk of accidents, in addition to being a production bottleneck, as it is a prerequisite for several other activities. Thus, many construction companies choose to produce the slabs of multifamily buildings in the standards of precast concrete at construction sites: Precast Solid Slabs (PSS). In this context, this work aims to propose guidelines for the standardization of a Design for Production of PSS, considering standardized panels with standard dimensions. The proposed guidelines were supported through action research involving three learning cycles in the execution of a multi-story building. At the end of each cycle, actions were proposed to solve the detected problems, and their implementation in the following cycle, constituting continuous and cumulative learning. The guidelines address the stages of production of PSS panels at the construction site and assembly on the floors. The executive details of the production processes, lifting devices, installation niches, connections between panels and the design of a customizable formwork system are indicated. The Design for Production will contribute to the increase in industrialization in the construction of residential works, which usually use cast-in-place slabs.

Educação tecnológica e indústria 4.0 (i.4.0): agendas e tensões a partir dos pressupostos cts
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-12-16) Muinge, Figueiredo Artur; Sousa, Cidoval Morais de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0573233540937425; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3064201204886332
Industry 4.0 is a new concept of industry in which automation, cyber-physical, Big Data and Internet of Things systems predominate. It's the context of smart factories that can predict errors and fix them automatically without human intervention and with a virtual cloud factory copy for security reasons. With that, more unemployment and the extinction of many professions are already announced. The market starts to demand new professional skills, challenging, above all, education with a technological bias. It questions, on the one hand, the role of universities (training for the market?), and, on the other, the education model required to face the challenge (instrumental or Citizen education?). This bibliographical and documentary study analyzes the Institutional Development Plan and the Pedagogical Projects of UFRGS courses (Automation Control Engineering; Production Engineering; Computer Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Chemical Engineering; Physical Engineering; Civil Engineering ; Materials Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Environmental Engineering; Metallurgical Engineering; Administration; Public and social administration; Public policies; Social sciences; Public relations; Regional development), in light of the STS approaches, confronting the demands of I.4.0 and training profile provided by the university. This is a case study with a comprehensive method, data collection and analysis. The results show that a multidisciplinary profile is required to meet the demand of Industry 4.0; and that the university has an important role in reducing the impacts that the socio-professional disruption foreseen with the implantation of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 could cause in society. It is understood the university, committed to the society in which it is integrated, plays the role of observer of the dynamics of society, that is, it observes socioeconomic, sociocultural, sociopolitical, technological, environmental changes and acts in a way that offers answers to the different problems affects and challenge society. In the confrontation between “demand and supply”, there are disconnects between the interests of the market and the professional profile that the university promises to deliver to society, despite the prevalence of the instrumental character of the training processes in progress. Keywords: 1. Industry 4.0; 2. Automation; 3. Science, Technology and Society; 4. Role of universities; 5. Technological Education

Cotton is a cultivar of economic interest, with a worldwide turnover around 17 billion dollars per year. Its supply is marked by several interconnected factors such as market signals, climatic aspects and pest pressures. The Spodoptera complex is among the main pests of cotton plantations, and its control has economic interest. Thus, this work proposes to investigate the defense responses of different cotton genotypes and compare their chemical profile when subjected to different resistance inducing factors, thus contributing to the development of proposals and policies for sustainable agricultural management to control pest insects. Twelve cotton genotypes were studied, by comparing their chemical profile when subjected to herbivory by Spodoptera cosmioides. The FMT 701 and Delta Opal genotypes were submitted to six resistance induction treatments: application of methyl jasmonate solution on the soil at concentrations of 20 µmolL-1 and 200 µmolL-1, application by spraying methyl jasmonate on the leaves at a concentration of 200 µmolL-1, herbivory by S. cosmioides, herbivory by S. cosmioides and application of methyl jasmonate (200 µmolL-1) in the soil, and water deficit stress. GC-MS and UPLC-QTof-MS analysis methodologies were developed, optimized and validated. Compounds such as α-tocopherol, p-coumaric acid, 1-linoleoylglycerol, 2-monopalmitin, campesterol and heliothrin were identified as metabolites associated to the defense response of genotypes to herbivory. The exogenous application of methyl jasmonate to Delta Opal and FMT 701 genotypes was more effective when sprayed on leaves. No accumulation of methyl jasmonate was identified in the experiments of exogenous application, but there was a change in the metabolomic profile, that is, the application of methyl jasmonate does not cause its accumulation but induces changes in the metabolism of the genotypes. A positive correlation was observed between the addition of methyl jasmonate and the accumulation of linolenic acid, linoleic acid and jasmonic acid in Delta Opal and FMT 701, and these compounds are already known as signal defense responses in plants. The Delta Opal and FMT 701 cultivars did not respond metabolically to water stress. It can be concluded that the cotton defense mechanism encompasses different metabolites from different routes and no single substance is responsible for the plant's defense.

Trajetórias do fazer e perder a casa: riscos e temporalidades nas periferias paulistas
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-12-16) Mallak, Fernanda Kagan; Rizek, Cibele Saliba; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0540870380815135; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6777480137508551
This thesis reflects on the lives of people who experience evictions and forced displacements in the outskirts of São Paulo, mobilizing and articulating three analytical categories: house, risk, and time. From an ethnographic perspective, the field research was conducted in the neighbourhood of Jundiapeba, a peripheral territory of the city of Mogi das Cruzes (SP), where hundreds of houses were built under electricity transmission lines, between high voltage towers. In the year 2018, part of the families was removed through a repossession action requested by the electricity transmission company, in a lawsuit based on 'risk of death of the residents' and the 'risk to regular power supply for the collective'. With the aim of understanding the effects produced by evictions on the practical dynamics of making and losing a house, as well as on the production of territories and cities, the study follows two pathways: the first is about reconstructing the life trajectories of a family, in the voice of three women who experienced the loss of their homes; the second is about following up the actions and mobilizations for housing that took place after the repossession. In the dispute between permanence and removal, these stories are articulated by the myriad of actions legitimated and guided by risk. In the context of imminently losing the house, it was possible to trace the temporalities in the production of documents, the negotiations, the power relations, the infinite waits, and the hope. The study reflected on the (re)production of spaces in cities based on the mapping and fusion of elements and processes that are usually captured separately, such as urban and social policies, management and government, financialization and privatization. In this sense, it proposes a change in analytical perspective, suggesting a diagram of intelligibility of urban land conflicts that starts, first, from the investigation of everyday practices, of the life trajectories of families, from inside and close, to then understand the processes of transformation in urban planning.

The socio-educational policy and the National System of Socio-Educational Assistance (SINASE) are constituted with the aim of holding the adolescent responsible for the criminal activity. This system presents different categories of sanctioning measures, ranging from guidance to socio-educational detention of adolescent characterized by deprivation of their liberty. Although confinement is planned as a last resort, juvenile incarceration has been used as an action strategy by the State, considering the number of care units dedicated to the deprivation of the adolescent population's liberty. In the context of confinement, occupational therapists are composing the teams of socio-educational units, even though there is not a significant numerical quantity compared to other professional categories. This research aimed to apprehend, discuss and analyze the occupational therapist's professional practice in socio-educational measures involving deprivation of liberty (provisional confinement, semi-liberty and confinement). The specific objectives are: a) To identify occupational therapists who work in institutions that carry out socio-educational measures of deprivation of liberty; b) Knowing and discussing the theoretical-practical foundation used by professionals working in the socio-educational system; c) Discuss the professional specificity of the occupational therapist in the socio-educational context. The following methodological route was carried out: contacts with managers (state, institutional or local) and service units for mapping and identification of professional occupational therapists linked to socio-educational measures involving deprivation of liberty (n=56), with the subsequent invitation for the resolution of a questionnaire about their practices (participants = 43); six discussion workshops with professionals working on these measures (participants = 09); semi-structured individual interviews with professionals from different Brazilian states (n=04); and holding a meeting to present the results and preliminary analysis categories (participants = 04). The collected data were analyzed based on the discussion of the technician's social function, social occupational therapy and the legislative principles of socio-education. The results, from the different stages, contributed to the identification of characteristics about professionals working at SINASE and their professional practices (routine, theoretical-methodological references, activities, resources and objectives of the intervention process, facilitators and limiters for the function exercises). After data analysis, tensions involving professional practice were discussed with emphasis on understanding the possible practices within the control device, which is the deprivation of liberty unit, added to analyzes about health practices and social action in the socio-educational units and, finally, recognition of professionals as social articulators. In this sense, the collaborators indicated possibilities of occupational therapy as a “space of freedom” within the context of deprivation of liberty. It is concluded that occupational therapists have professional specificity as executors of socio-educational measures of deprivation of liberty, using activities, singular and territorial accompaniments, resources articulation and networks dynamization to contribute with the objectives foreseen in SINASE. The professionals emphasized understanding that the situation of deprivation of liberty, as well as the history of social deprivation which led the adolescents to that specific situation, interfere with the performance of practices aimed at autonomy, emancipation, insertion and social participation of adolescents. The theoretical conception of social occupational therapy was, therefore, a theoretical-methodological subsidy in the objectives achieving.

"Abaixo de Deus eu tenho fé nesses matos”: uma etnografia do regime de cuidado cotidiano entre os Pataxó da aldeia Boca da Mata
(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-12-16) Portugal, Larissa Moreira; Vander Velden, Felipe Ferreira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7289231173735671; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5065659884042600
This dissertation deals with the daily care regime that Pataxó women from the Boca da Mata village (Barra Velha do Monte Pascoal TI, southern Bahia) operate with the medicinal matos nativos that proliferate in different parts of the territory and, when transformed into remedios de mato, act by quebrando, cortando, desfazendo e matando different ills and diseases that can affect the Pataxó. The objective is to highlight the strong and fundamental feminine and vegetal agencies in Pataxó care practices, as well as to present a description of the multiple domains that the universe of relationalities of these vegetables allow us to access in terms of the ways these people live and be in the world. From “classifications” of the “plant world” to ways of inhabiting the territory and treating terreiros and backyards, notions of disease and health, production of the person and the body, to native theories about blood, aspects of sociability, dreams, the multiple sensory faculties, forms of communication with the auxiliary spirits and, finally, the feminine articulation around the Association of Indigenous Women of aldeia Boca da Mata. It is also proposed to demonstrate how the same matos nativos, which are irreducible agents in daily care practices, were also fundamental for women to face and resist the extraordinary event that consisted of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it does not intend to conduct an ethnobotanical or ethnopharmacological survey of medicinal plants among the Pataxó, since the proposal, in short, is to offer a description, from the women's point of view, about the universe of relationalities of the medicinal matos with which they make up a unique care regime in the village of Boca da Mata.

(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-12-16) Ruggiero, Mayara Herrmann; Moschini, Luiz Eduardo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2728357583462262; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5829-7618; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6997200581848933; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6191-7750
The territorial planning instruments are essential to identify and reduce the environmental impacts caused by human activity. Computational models and methods applied to the production of cartographic documents for analysis and territorial planning, can contribute with the dynamics for its elaboration and application, mostly in areas with relevant environmental characteristics. In this research the aim was the development and application of methods and computational models integrated with ArcGIS software. These models and methods must perform the process to obtain environmental maps and charts, resulting in an agrienvironmental planning chart to the Ribeirão do Feijão watershed, located at the central region of the state of São Paulo. The research was divided in some principal stages: the first one focused on data collection and geographic treatment; the second on the elaboration of intermediaries documents, which were used to the final analysis, with process automation in GIS environment; being these: anthropic use transition potential chart; aquifer contamination potential chart; surface runoff potential chart; legal restrictions charts and; agricultural potential chart. Finally, the model which combines all these documents was developed for the elaboration of the agrienvironmental planning chart for Ribeirão do Feijão watershed, with the definition of planning units and its guidelines. With the development and application of the land use change analysis model, it was observed that in the watershed there was an increase in agricultural areas to the detriment of native vegetation. The anthropic use transition potential chart showed that the medium potential predominates in the study area, however the high and very high potentials together occupy 42.86% of the area. The mapping and analysis of legal restrictions indicated that there is a deficit of native vegetation coverage in permanent preservation areas and legal reserves. Regarding the aquifers contamination potential, between 1985 and 2019, the watershed showed an increase of 11.78% in areas with high potential and 58.14% with very high potential. The surface runoff potential chart showed that the low potential class appears with distinction in the study area, occupying approximately 50% of the region in 2019. However, between 1985 and 2019 there was an increase of 37.47% in the high and very high potential classes. The agricultural potential chart was important for identify regions with favorable characteristics for cultivation. In the study area there is a predominance of medium potential, and 12% of the area has high or very high potential. With the elaboration and analysis of the mentioned documents, the agrienvironmental planning was elaborated for the Ribeirão do Feijão watershed. Six homogeneous units were defined, each one with its characteristics and guidelines. In the watershed there are areas with native vegetation that need to be preserved, following the legislation, as well as areas that must be recovered, in order to observe the legal requirements. The geoenvironmental characteristics of the study area give the basin a need to control the anthropic activities. Therefore, guidelines that will encourage the increase of restoration areas, as well as those indicative of activities with reduced impact, are essential for the maintenance of the development, but with the promotion of the conservation of resources

Metaparenting thoughts (metacognitive thoughts about parenting) indicate parents’ abilities to reflect on and identify strategies that promote their children’s development, but we need to better understand the relationship between these thoughts and the quality of family relationships. Among the various techniques used for observing metacognitive thoughts (including counterfactual and pre-factual thoughts), the presentation of fictional scenarios is a procedure that enables people to reflect and comment on interpersonal interactions. However, the analysis of parents’ metacognitive thoughts about real situations involving their children was expected to be even more useful for understanding the effects of metaparenting thoughts on the quality of family relationships. Thus, the objectives of this study were to: (a) compare metacognitive thoughts for fictitious and real parenting situations, (b) verify associations between metacognitive thoughts and the quality of the coparenting relationship, symptoms of parental burnout, and family functioning, and (c) verify the associations among these three measures of family relationships. This study had a descriptive, comparative and relational design. Participants were 30 mothers (average age of 40.5 years, SD = 5.20 years) with children between the ages of 10 to 14. The participants were recruited using social media networks and data were collected online. They completed a sociodemographic questionnaire, a metaparenting interview (which included questions about fictitious scenarios and a real parenting situation), the Coparenting Relationship Scale, the Brazilian Parental Burnout Assessment, and the APGAR index. Answers to the interview questions were categorized according to the type metacognitive thought for the fictitious and real situations, and then comparisons were made using the Wilcoxon test, and associations were tested using Spearman’s correlation. The number of counterfactual thoughts was similar for fictitious and real situations, but the number of pre-factual thoughts was greater for fictitious than for real situations (Z = 246,5, p < 0,001). There were few significant correlations among metacognitive thoughts and the relationship measures, but many significant relationships among the relationship measures. The sample was small and fathers were not included, but it seems that there must be other factors that modulate the relationship between metaparenting thoughts and the quality of family relationships. In future studies, in addition to evaluating metaparenting thoughts, the ways that these thoughts are discussed and reformulated using socioemotional and interpersonal skills could be examined, to analyze the effects of this broader set of cognitive and socioemotional skills on family relationships.

Dexamethasone is a glucocorticoide, first synthesized in 1957, that is currently part of the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines. Thus, as na important drug, its potential for environmental contamination has drawn attention in recent years, especially after the increase in its consumption due to its use in the treatment of COVID-19. Thus, the development of simple, fast, and sustainable techniques for the determination and treatment of aqueous matrices containing dexamethasone is a necessity. This work presents electrochemical methods with the desirable characteristics for the determination and degradation of dexamethasone using boron-doped diamonds as electrode material. For the determination, a method was developed using the differential pulse voltammetry technique, using the peak current from the oxidation of dexamethasone on boron-doped diamond with anodic pretreatment as analytical sign. The determinations were performed in a 0.04 mol L–1 H3PO4 medium as the supporting electrolyte, obtaining in the best conditions a linear range of 2.0–40.0 μmol L–1 (R2 = 0.999), with a detection limit of 2.0 μmol L–1 (S/N = 3). As for the electrochemical degradation method, a flow system was used with a filter-press reactor fitted with turbulence promoters. Applying a current density of 20 mA cm–2, the complete removal of dexamethasone (40 mg L–1 in 0.1 mol L–1 Na2SO4) was attained, with a mineralization of 82% in 5 h of treatment.

The study developed starts from a research problem that is located in the need for investment and deepening in research related to the LGBTQIA+ community, in the scope of Library and Information Science. It starts from the hypothesis that, although increasing, the number of scientific production in the area, on the subject, would still be incipient, given the Brazilian social configuration in relation to the proportionality of this community in the country. More specifically, it considers that Queer Theory, by Judith Butler, could form the basis for the construction of a discussion matrix of informational studies, to foster the area, in the construction of concepts, theories and methodologies of informational studies, consistent with the demands of this community. In order to verify the indicated assumptions, the specific objectives of the research were delimited, to briefly present the context of Queer Theory and to verify how the quantification of scientific production on subjects related to LGBTQIA+ themes is, initially in international databases in Library Science and Science. information, and then in national databases of the area. In the end, the objective was to build a general analysis of how scientific works on the subject are being produced. As a methodological contribution, an exploratory research was developed, based on a bibliographical and documental survey. The international databases listed were: Information Science & Technology Abstracts Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts with Full Tex; Library and Information Science Abstracts. The national databases listed were BRAPCI, RPPBCI and the FEBAB Repository. The resource used to analyze the bibliographic and documental productions was content analysis, in order to cover some themes about the LGBTQIA+ community that are under discussion in informational studies, a theoretical body was carried out articulating the subjects and later approaching the Queer Theory that was found necessary as a critical proposition for Information Science in its activities. As a result, it was concluded that there is a contribution of Queer Theory to the Organization of Knowledge.

The home appliances sector is disputed by large companies, which, in order to remain competitive, are in a continuous search for improvements and cost reductions. The great engineering challenge is to reduce costs while maintaining the functionality, robustness and quality of the product, otherwise, valuable company resources can be wasted and generate catastrophic results once the product reaches the final consumer. In this way, studies are needed to prove the effectiveness of the modifications, thus increasing the level of confidence for project implementation. This document performs a numerical and experimental analysis of the snap-fit between polymeric clips and a metallic complement, aiming to guarantee the functionality and quantify the complement extraction force peak. The snap-fit disengagement simulation with theoretical and real geometry was performed using the finite element method, using the ANSYS software, the following step, experimental extraction test, was carried out in the laboratory, using a Cartesian robot. The results showed that the snap-fit function is adequate and the peak numerical and experimental extraction forces are significantly above the specification of the internal standard, enabling cost reduction proposals.
