listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A estatística no futebol: uma análise dos principais fatores que influenciam o número de gols feitos pelos jogadores no campeonato inglês(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-01-26) Mangerona, Robson Alves; Zuanetti, Daiane Aparecida; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8352484284929824; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0824394354037921Soccer is considered one of the most popular sports in the world and its relevance is reflected not only in the crowds that fill the stadiums around the 5 continents within the most varied championships, but also proves to be extremely important in the cultural and economic development of a country. Taking this into account, over time, soccer has been a subject of interest for professionals who try, through statistical analysis, to help coaches, managers and, mainly, players find, in numbers, a way to reach their best performances on the field. The objective of this work is, therefore, to analyze and identify which features (total number of shots, shots on goal every 90 minutes, average goal distance of all shots, predicted goals, among others) have the most impact on the number of goals scored by player in a season of Premier League (soccer calendar commonly associated with a total of 38 games played between 20 teams). From this, we want to understand the main factors that influence the final performance of the player, since the number of goals scored by the athletes directly reflects on the performance of a team within the championship.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Compósitos biodegradáveis a partir de poli(succinato de butileno) e resíduos de cacau para manufatura aditiva(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-01-26) Araújo, Robson Pinto; Costa, Lidiane Cristina; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8246109223926480; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0280-6994; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4457809041388991; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2824-1944Additive manufacturing (AM) has developed a lot in recent years, however, the diversity of materials available for application in its different techniques is still limited and few biodegradable materials are available for the Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) process. Poly(Butylene Succinate) (PBS) is a biodegradable polymer that can be obtained from raw materials of fossil origin and/or from renewable sources. PBS presents high crystallinity and low resistance in the molten state, characteristics that must be controlled so that the material can be used for application in FFF processes. Such properties can be changed through the insertion of natural fillers, in the form of particles, thus developing low-cost composites, with improved characteristics for biodegradation and environmentally friendly. Therefore, this project aimed to develop filaments from the PBS matrix and cocoa bean shells (CBS) from agro-industrial waste. The filaments were produced by extrusion and their properties were evaluated in terms of rheological and thermal characteristics. The composites were formed through injection molding and additive manufacturing. The mechanical properties were evaluated under tensile strength and the disintegration process of the printed and injected parts was evaluated with soil deposition. The results showed that the incorporation of CBS altered the rheological behavior of the PBS matrix in order to favor the filament production processes and 3D printing. However, the printed specimens showed inferior mechanical properties compared to the properties of injection molded specimens. The incorporation of CBS fractions resulted in an increase in the disintegration rate for printed and injected parts.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Relato de avaliação da vida acadêmica(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-01-26) Silva, Majorie Valério Lopes da; Carbol, Maristela; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9852217198710064; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8320299278107871The Medical Course at the Federal University of São Carlos offers a different curricular proposal, which includes active methodologies of teaching and learning. There are few studies evaluating the impacts of adopting these educational resources on the experiences of the students. In order to discuss the theme, this work dialogues with the Academic Life Assessment Scale. The ALAS is a scale composed of affirmations divided into five self-referred factors for academic life. On the matters of commitment to the course, there were few uncertainties about the option and the affinities with the graduation course. Previous repertory and personal abilities were advantageous in the processes of getting a degree. Some considerations about teacher training within the university environment could guarantee a better development of the activies for the students. Academic, social and cultural extracurricular activities are enriching experiences in academic life, specially concerning a public university. There were no problems with the conditions for studying, however some vulnerabilities for the future are appearing.
