listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Os indícios de pré-discursos na construção de narrativas sobre os grupos minoritários(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-03-07) Carvalho, Lílian Pereira de; Baronas, Roberto Leiser; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4613001301744682; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0758-0370; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7492175179598682; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1165-5320Studies in the human sciences have focused on the rapid and continuous dissemination of news, particularly in the digital environment. We have found that frequently, such discourses are presented through genres of journalistic discourse, providing them with legitimacy, in which various versions of facts circulate based on beliefs, knowledge, and ideological positions. Therefore, we decided to observe how speakers represent the minority groups selected on certain websites for this research: women, black people, the LGBTQIAP+ community, immigrants, and indigenous people. The corpus consisted of news published on websites presenting themselves as information portals, denounced by the Sleeping Giants movement as propagators of fake news and intolerant speeches, namely: Jornal da Cidade Online, Conexão Política, Brasil Sem Medo, Brasil Paralelo, and Estudos Nacionais. For the selection, we applied filters using search tools on these websites, based on terms referring to such groups. Initially, we discussed the idea of truth and post-truth, considering the researcher's position on truth, both their position and the observed corpus (ANGERMULLER, 2018). To describe the websites and the discursive genres published in the digital environment, we mobilize the theory of Digital Discourse Analysis (PAVEAU, 2021), considering the characteristics of web-native discourse. Enlargement characteristic allowed us to reflect on disseminating this news, especially through social media. Then we described and interpreted data, considering the theory of pre-discourses by Marie-Anne Paveau (2013) to analyze the meaning effects produced by the pre-discourses. The beliefs and knowledge contained in the pre-discourses brought elements of materiality that showed the position of these websites about minority groups. We verified that there is a building narrative about villains versus heroes through what we called traditional, incontestable, and contrastive pre-discourses. Through these pre-discourses, we observed the gradual building of this narrative in these websites, using stereotypes with typical attributes of each group (PAVEAU, 2013). Minority groups have been attributed the characteristics of villains due to their practices considered transgressive, criminal, and deceitful. Heroes, on the other hand, would be the locutors who stand against these villains, either by denouncing them or by defending their victims. This narrative develops through constant and repetitive attacks on minority groups, including social movements and, directly or indirectly, the left parties that support these groups. Minority groups are portrayed as responsible for their own misery and social problems, considered different, inferior, and, therefore, deserving of domination or extermination. We therefore highlight the conservative resistance to the rise of diversity to power, manifested in practices of erasure and building narratives, positioning minority groups as enemies of society.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O ideário neoliberal na Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC): desdobramentos para o trabalho docente(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-03-07) Tassoni, Raquel Franco; Mattos, Hellen Cristina Xavier da Slva; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8605625866125060; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2865-8029; Fernandes, Maria Cristina da Silveira Galan; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5786385589553214; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8415-9400; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9617907814174323; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6682-2432This research is inserted in the field of educational curricular policies and aimed to study the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), intending to identify similarities with elements of neoliberal ideas for education and to understand the consequences of its proposals for teaching work, from the perspective of teachers from a state school, which participates in the Integral Teaching Program (PEI), of high school in São Carlos. After identifying the interferences from neoliberal ideology in the educational policies of the Brazilian basic education, topics of the BNCC were analyzed in order to discern tendencies to the neoliberal ideology. Therefore, the research is characterized as qualitative, bibliographic and field, in which the steps of bibliographical and documentary survey, semi-structured interviews, data triangulation and content analysis were carried out. In light of the contributions of Pierre Bourdieu's theory, we analyzed the process of internalization of neoliberal ideology at school, guiding people to the mercantile logic, by changing their practices and professional habitus. We verified that several characteristic elements of the neoliberal ideology are placed for the educational sector, for students and teachers, depositing in them the commitment with the economy and with the resolution of social problems. Competitiveness, creativity and entrepreneurship are reinforced as essential skills for personal development, citizenship and employability, encouraged by youth protagonism. Thus, several aspects of the BNCC are close to elements of neoliberal ideas and imply a significant formative fragility, revealing challenges for democracy, justice and social inclusion, values set out throughout the document. Regarding the consequences for the teaching work, we verified that the intensification of the workloads and countless demands of the PEI are factors that compromise the availability and dedication of the teachers to the study of the proposals and curriculum that are being implemented in Basic Education. The implementation process of the BNCC, a national project designed as a response to the idea of an educational crisis to be contained, also reinforced teacher blaming and the role of individuality in the issue of Brazilian education. In the light of Pierre Bourdieu, we analyze that the delimitation of the way of doing the pedagogical action enable the imposition of a cultural arbitrariness and the internalization of the neoliberal ideology in the school. By dissimulating the imposition of a dominant culture as legitimate and common to all, the school institution tends to legitimize social privileges and reproduce the neoliberal logic as a reference. We hope that the results of this study will provide reflections on the BNCC and contribute to the expansion of discussions on Brazilian educational policies.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Sustentabilidade no setor de entretenimento: avaliação da geração de resíduos sólidos em eventos open bar e da percepção de seus impactos ambientais por seus organizadores e frequentadores(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-03-07) Braga, Gustavo Pedrino; Mattos, Sérgio Henrique Vannucchi Leme de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8205497519881678The entertainment sector, including event organization, is a prominent branch in the service industry, with a constant demand for innovations and, currently, a concern for sustainability issues, which can be represented by an ESG approach, an acronym in English for "Environmental, Social, and Governance." The objective of this study was to estimate, through data collected from sample events, the environmental impacts generated by solid waste discarded during open bar leisure events, as well as to evaluate the perception of both organizers and attendees through interactive questionnaires regarding such impacts. Thus, it was possible to map the consumer preferences of the audience in this type of event, the environmental impact generated, the audience's awareness of ESG issues, as well as their willingness to attend and prioritize events that incorporate environmental concerns. The results of this research indicate that beer consumption is the largest source of solid waste, followed by cocktails and energy drinks, along with a considerable generation of organic waste, which requires an appropriate disposal structure. The majority of the respondents were female university students between 18 and 23 years old. Although the audience has some concern about environmental impact,listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Satisfação habitacional da pessoa idosa: construção de instrumento e validação de conteúdo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-03-07) Olaia, Leticia Felice; Orlandi, Fabiana de Souza; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7395879552721664; Monteiro, Luzia Cristina Antoniossi; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2890278808923978; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2254612603463330It is in cities that most people have aged. Research that investigates the built environment, social functions and the relationship between human beings and housing is essential. Housing, offered and guaranteed with quality, helps to prevent diseases and disabilities throughout the life cycle. Due to the great impact that housing has on people's health and quality of life, the term residential satisfactory emerged in the area of environmental psychology, with the aim of achieving measures to evaluate the space in which one lives and offer improvements, qualifying the spaces. In view of the gaps identified in the science dealing with the subject, the objective of the study is to contribute to the creation of an instrument to measure the satisfaction of elderly people in relation to their experience and carry out the validation of its content. It is a cross-sectional research, with the quantitative and qualitative method of investigation. For the content validation of the instrument, the e-Delphi method was used, an investigation technique, investigated by the possibility of joining different opinions of several specialists and building a product on complex themes, through the consensus of those involved. This research constituted a committee of specialists formed by ten professionals, selected in order to provide a heterogeneous group, interconnected by similar areas. As this is content validation through a group consensus of specialists, a Content Validation Index (CVI) equal to or greater than 80% was established. The results of the first round of instrument judgment indicated that, according to the experts, 85% of the items were considered relevant and pertinent to the proposed construct. However, some items did not reach the minimum consensus value, requiring revision and a second round of opinion. After application and analysis of the IVC of this, there was a need for new adjustments according to the suggestions of the judges, with subsequent submission of the third phase. After analysis of the third round of evaluation, all items reached the degree of agreement between the experts. In general, the research findings demonstrated the viability of the construct, being considered relevant and adequate to measure the housing satisfaction of the elderly population, simultaneously permeating objective and subjective approaches and connecting issues related to the surroundings, building and resident singularities. The study corroborated the literature regarding the dimensions that influence satisfaction, such as housing characteristics, infrastructure, public facilities, neighborhood facilities and social environment. It was also concluded that the e-Delphi method has favorable aspects in relation to its application, such as economic viability and unfavorable aspects such as the withdrawal of members of the expert committee during the instrument's evaluation rounds. As much as the proposed instrument quantitatively assesses housing satisfaction, it is pertinent to apply it together with qualitative questions in order to strengthen the investigation of this subjective construct.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Redução do volume de irrigação de plantio de eucalipto para ganhos operacionais, sociais e ambientais(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-03-07) Teixeira, Camila Macedo; Silva, José Mauro Santana da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1206055452889306; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2408529770401210The forestry Market has expanded throughout the world significantly in recente years. Because of this growth, the challenges of increasing productivity and competitiveness among companies for forestry training based on sustainable ESG (Enviroental, Social and Governance) concepts growth as well. Therefore, this Project aims to assess the potential for reducing the volume of irrigation water from Eucalyptus forestry activities. The Project analyzed the operations of irrigated planting and conventional planting (planting and irrigation independent) and was divided into five main treatments: T0 (no irrigation), T1 (an irrigation of 250 ml/plant), T2 (an irrigation of 4 l/ plant), T3 (two irrigations, the first being 250 ml/plant) and T4 (two irrigations of 4 l/plant). The experiments were executed in São Paulo state between may to december and genetical material does not present any resistance to water deficit. The initial results measured the mortality rate of the different treatments and presented no significant results between T3 and T4 from may to june and significant results between T3 and T4 from july to august. There is a potential to reduce the volume of water during planting to 250 ml/plant in the first irrigation during humid period of the year. As a result, opportunities to reduce the volume of irrigation water were identified, with significant gains in the use of renewable resources and in line with ESG guidelines.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A(o) enfermeira(o) na estratégia saúde da família: percepção sobre o cuidado às pessoas LGBT+(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-03-07) Silveira, Walkiria Jessica Araujo; Melo, Flávio Adriano Borges; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2146448542549482; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5941-4855; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7397511247130068; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3144-8601Care for the LGBT+ population has as its fundamental aspect the influence of the professional's vision in the provision of care and the need for adequate reception, as these people already arrive at health services stigmatized, due to prejudiced situations that they experience on a daily basis. It is important to study and evaluate the effectiveness of innovative interventions nationwide on risk factors for falls, in order to contribute to the reduction of occurrences of falls. Objectives: To verify the effectiveness of an intervention based on case management on motor and environmental risk factors for falls in community-dwelling faller older people with cognitive impairment. Methods: This is a randomized study developed in the city of São Carlos- SP, in the year 2021 and 2022. Participants were older people with cognitive deficits and falling from the Multidisciplinary Program of Management Assistance and Management of Falls for Faller Older People (MAGIC). The participants were divided into two groups: Control Group (CG) and Intervention Group (IG). The IG underwent case management for 16 weeks conducted remotely, which involved a multidimensional assessment, explanation of the identified risk factors for falls, completion of intervention proposal based on the identified risks, development of an individualized falls intervention plan, follow-up and review of the plan. There were an initial assessment, a final assessment after 16 weeks, and a follow-up assessment after 6 weeks, remotely. The Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB), TUG and TUG dual task, Manchester Index, Home Falls and Accidents Screening Tool (HOME FAST) were used, as well as foot inspection and shoe questionnaire. Results: The total sample consisted of 52 older people, 25 from the CG and 27 from the IG. There was no significant interaction between groups and moments. The CG presented a worse performance in muscle strength when compared to the IG, regardless of the assessment. In feet and footwear, there was a significant difference between groups (CG and IG) in the initial assessment and between assessments in both CG and IG. Conclusion: There was no effectiveness of an intervention based on case management on the motor risk factors for falls in faller older people with cognitive impairment. However, regarding environmental risk factors, specifically the use of footwear, it was possible to verify changes regarding the use after the intervention and follow-up, with adherence to the recommendations given. Further randomized clinical trials with the intervention based on case management are suggested to prove the findings.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Práticas corporais no meio líquido nas aulas de Educação Física escolar(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-03-07) Lopes, Mary Ane Sartori; Godoi Jacomassi, Daniela; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7699007812483790; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7043-7529; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1583588189053789; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8054-9850Proposals centered on the body culture of movement within the context of school Physical Education encourage a look at the different possibilities of movement by the student and the opportunity to contemplate as many experiences as possible. Reassessing the learning objects and presenting a new thematic unit called Corporal practices in the liquid environment as a common curricular proposal, presents possibilities of access to a cultural heritage of undeniable value in the liquid environment for personal safety, enjoyment of leisure and unique learning. The main characteristic of the thematic unit of Corporal practices in the liquid environment is to break with the traditionalist concept of knowing how to swim, related to the four styles of swimming, which interfered in limiting the potential of the liquid environment, and guarantee the citizen's right to experience, enjoy, appreciate and create, proposing new perspectives on the selection of content for school Physical Education classes. In this way, the objective of the study is to analyze the development of body practices in the liquid environment as a curricular content of Physical Education at school for students in the early years of elementary school. The specific objectives are: (a) to highlight the possibilities of teaching the thematic unit of bodily practices in the liquid environment in Physical Education classes at school; (b) to analyze the development of the didactic unit of corporal practices in the liquid environment in the School Physical Education classes and (c) to identify the influences of the didactic unit realization on the students' learning. 30 students enrolled in the 3rd year of elementary school participated in the study. The foreseen procedures included: a) elaboration of a didactic unit of 14 classes, within the proposed thematic unit of Corporal practices in the liquid environment; b) application of the didactic unit in Physical Education classes at school and c) collection techniques used in the research. The instruments used were: systematized and filmed conversation circles and a logbook. The results showed that the didactic unit presented a diversified cultural collection and provided students with motor, cognitive, social and personal safety learning, relating learning to the eight dimensions of knowledge, and demonstrating that it was possible to enhance freedom of action in the liquid environment and provide sensations of pleasure that inferred in the enjoyment of leisure by the student. In this way, we hope to have contributed to the subject being addressed more frequently and that, in a future reformulation of the National Common Curricular Base, body practices in the liquid environment can be thought of no longer as a suggestion, but as a basic learning knowledge. through a new thematic unit.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Aplicação de jogo lúdico para o ensino de ciências: jogo LUDOVID sobre a COVID-19(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-03-07) Dias, Aniele Beatriz; Veras, Lea da Silva; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1969507583747922; Ribeiro, Tatiana Santana; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7952918513827867; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5716975269887152The present project proposed the elaboration and application of the LUDOVID game, based on the ludo game, the elaboration and implementation of a pedagogical proposal that addresses the problem of the COVID-19 pandemic with concepts of health and science correlated with topics of natural science (biology and chemistry) in an interdisciplinary way. The choice of the theme “COVID-19 pandemic” was determined after a bibliographical survey that demonstrated the lack of studies on the relationship of educational ludic games with the proposed theme, due to the fact that it is a recent topic. Another factor that influenced the choice was the spread of false news, the so-called “fake news”, released during the pandemic, stimulated by government policies that denied science. LUDOVID was applied in the Chemistry discipline offered to the high school students at Centro Educacional Avicenna LTDA, located in the cities of Leme/SP and Pirassununga/SP. This work sought to understand the playful pedagogical potential of the proposed game, in addition to identifying the factors that would indicate its effectiveness in relation to the understanding of the subjects that were taught during the class. In order to verify the applicability of this methodology for science teaching, the framework Messeder Neto (2016) and Savi (2011) was used. It was also possible to evaluate the students' perception in relation to their motivation, experience of playing a ludic game during a class and the impact of the game on their learning. Teachers who used the LUDOVID game proposal were also evaluated through a semi-structured interview, which was later evaluated by a descriptive analysis. They were also provided with a preliminary lesson plan that was prepared to help them in this activity, and were able to modify it according to their needs and perceptions in class. To evaluate the students' perception of the game, a questionnaire was used, the data collected was later analyzed as described by Savi (2011).listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Barreiras da logistica reversa em confecções de pequeno porte: oportunidades para reinserção de resíduos texteis solidos à cadeia produtiva(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-03-07) Nascimento, Ingrid Rodrigues; Silva, João Eduardo Azevedo Ramos da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3823047207711289; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6739-5065As concern for sustainable practices in the textile industry grew around the world, there was a need to develop waste disposal initiatives specifically aimed at small businesses, which are quite common in this segment. The sector is one of the biggest polluters in the world, causing great environmental impact, mainly from the inadequate disposal of solid waste. Through a multi-case study, carried out in three micro-enterprises located in the state of São Paulo, this article analyzes the main barriers found in small clothing companies that prevent the implementation of reverse logistics in the sector and raises the opportunities for action that can make such actions viable. . Through the application of a qualitative questionnaire and an interview, the information was collected and analyzed and the results indicate that the practice of reuse, using solid waste to compose sleeves, pockets, bands and collars of parts, and sale of solid waste, where companies can join partner companies with the purpose of reinserting waste into the production chain through recycling or reuse to make new parts, which generates good results in reducing waste and are financially viable and applicable to MPE's (Micro and small companies ) of confection. This article also discusses Law 12.305/2010, which proposes that companies have the responsibility to reinsert the goods produced into the production chain, but without mandatory execution aimed at the textile industry, requiring the creation of laws that include the sector . It also proved necessary to develop new studies aimed at recycling textile waste for MSEs.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Análise do ensino do comportamento de ecoico em gêmeos concordantes para autismo: diferenças encontradas e suas implicações(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-03-07) Mioto, Isabella Lopes; Goyos, Antônio Celso de Noronha; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3407008711535651; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6150-1074; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0922419363782707; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5696-4672Current research claims that genetic makeup, together with environmental factors, may contribute to the cause of childhood autism, as they point to evidence of heritability and a higher incidence of autism in families with a history of it. Case studies on twins are scarce in the literature, but fundamental for analyzing the possibility of heritability and the importance of ontogenesis. In its characterization, ASD is marked by abnormalities in social interaction, communication, spoken language and a shallow and stereotyped behavioral repertoire. This impairment in verbal behavior, present in people with autism, is frequently described in the literature. In this audience, one of the main verbal operants that can present a loss in its acquisition is the echoic. In order to understand the functions related to the processes of acquisition of human behavior, it is necessary to study child development and its particularities, especially with atypical children, and, therefore, longitudinal studies with this theme must be carried out. Therefore, the objective of this research was to describe and analyze, in a longitudinal and specific way, the acquisition process of echoic behavior and its prerequisites in twins concordant for autism, identifying the differences that occurred in the learning process and listing possible implications of this learning, bearing in mind that both brothers were submitted to the same protocols, under similar application conditions. For this purpose, the method used was a primary source documentary research. It was verified, retrospective, descriptive and longitudinally, the acquisition of the echoic repertoire and its prerequisite behaviors for learning by children with ASD. The analysis of the reported data confirms the effectiveness of the ABA-based behavioral intervention model for teaching verbal repertoire and strengthens the notion that individualized, structured interventions, with individualized teaching schedules and based on scientific evidence can be applied to teach skills that may favor or improve the quality of life of the individual. In addition, this research presents significant contributions by expanding the data in the literature on behavioral intervention and the acquisition and generalization of verbal behaviors and their prerequisites, in addition to bringing more information to fill the gap present in the literature on behavioral intervention and its repertoires of learning in twins.
