Item type:Item, Práticas da terapia ocupacional junto a familiares de pacientes em cuidados paliativos hospitalizados(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06) ;Santos, Gabriele Barbosa ;Almeida, Michely Ferreira ;Bombarda, Tatiana Barbieri ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/8070700589653226https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9478-7945Palliative care consists of a set of practices based on knowledge of various specialties, in which the focus of care is not based on pathology, but on the promotion of health and symptom control for all patients facing life-threatening situations. The patient's singularities are taken into consideration, as well as the care for the patient's environment, which includes the family, caregivers, and the health team, since they are also susceptible to suffering. This study sought to describe the role of the occupational therapist with family caregivers of patients in palliative care in the hospital setting. This is a descriptive research, of qualitative approach, in which five occupational therapists working in hospitals in the state of São Paulo, with experience in palliative care for at least one year, were interviewed. For data collection, the Snowball method was applied, and the information obtained was worked on by thematic analysis. It was obtained from the participation of 5 occupational therapists who presented an average time of work in the hospital area corresponding to 11 years and an average time of work in palliative care referring to 7 years. Specifically about the work with families, the participants expressed the role of occupational therapy, and 4 themes emerged, as follows a) Routine of the family member - this theme encompassed expressions about the occupational therapeutic work of evaluation and management of the impacts on the family dynamics generated by the occupation "caring" and by the hospitalization process itself; b)(Re)Construction of coping strategies - this theme involved expressions about the role of the occupational therapist aimed at promoting re-signification of experiences and promoting embracement as a way to enable coping; c) Instrumentalization of care - included notes about the role of empowering the family caregiver to perform procedures involved in daily care and to organize the environment in a more functional manner; d) Mourning - in this theme, expressions were considered referring to the role of offering support to the experience of bereavement based on the perspective of an emptying of activities associated with the role of caring and the reorganization of the routine considering the losses experienced and the singularities of each subject. From the data obtained, we observed an occupational therapist focus on routine modifications, based on the understanding of caring as an occupation that involves emotional and instrumental aspects and that can tend to promote an unbalance in the occupational repertoire, a factor that denotes that the occupational therapist has been performing interventions based on the technical repertoire of his core of knowledge in favor of the integrality of care and quality of life of the family members. This study aimed to verify whether the actions of the four largest commercial banks traded on the Brazilian stock exchange are less susceptible to price exuberance than stocks from different sectors in the same market. To date possible periods of bubbles in the selected stocks, the Generalized Supremum Augmented Dickey-Fuller (GSADF) right-tailed test model was adopted with the addition of a Wild Bootstrap process, as indicated by Phillips and Shi (2020). Based on the found results, and on international literature about the subject, it was verified that the chosen banking stocks are more resistant to price exuberance than stocks from other sectors of the Brazilian economy. At the 5% confidence interval, no bubble event was detected for banking stocks, while some cases were found for the remaining sectors stocks. In order to further test this resistance, a test with a 10% confidence interval was also adopted, where some bubble events were found for both types of stocks. The conclusion of this study is useful for investors that operate in the Brazilian stock market, as well as for stakeholders of the analyzed banks, since they can use this information to better position themselves in the market and build more appropriate portfolios, reducing their exposure to speculative risks.Item type:Item, Distinção entre traficante e usuário: influência de fatores extrajurídicos no processo decisório judicial(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-01) ;Wormhoudt, Talitha Passos de Lima ;Oliveira, Fabiana Luci de ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/9487149052862292https://lattes.cnpq.br/4146050257883016The research aims to study how the Judiciary has framed the conduct of agents in the crime of drug trafficking and the elements used to differentiate dealer-user, seeking to identify whether and to what extent extra-legal factors affect the outcome of this decision. The research analyzes how Law nº 11.343/2006 (Drug Law) has been applied in the first instance in the Court of Justice of São Paulo, describing the reasoning of decisions in legal categories (those based on legal issues), jurisprudence (based on jurisprudence or doctrine) and extrajuridical (thus considered those that have no legal or jurisprudential basis). The work dialogues with studies that investigated the application of the drug law in Brazil, and uses the theoretical framework on judicial decision-making behavior. In empirical terms, 161 sentences handed down in the first instance in December 2019, from criminal courts in six municipalities of different sizes in the State of São Paulo, were analyzed. The main conclusion is that the use of factors classified in this research as extra-legal predominate in decisions, and their use is even more recurrent in decision-making for the conviction of defendants for trafficking.Item type:Item, Recomendações teórico-metodológicas para a publicação de dados bibliográficos abertos e conectados: dados resultantes da Revisão Sistemática da Literatura(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-01) ;Jesus, Ananda Fernanda de ;Castro, Fabiano Ferreira de ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/7124931056289027 ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/8553935355036462https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7873-6040Item type:Item, Platforms based on semiconductors for application in quantum computing(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-02) ;Cunha, Iann ;Castelano, Leonardo Kleber ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/1397190485811267 ;https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4746-3657https://lattes.cnpq.br/7282573279070179This thesis is composed of three parts. In the first part, a study of transport in semiconductor nanowires is carried out, in which the multichannel scattering occurs in a certain finite region, providing a reentrance in the conductance. This reentrance is analyzed in zero magnetic field configuration for cases where there is a strong spin-orbit coupling and for a structural deformation in the nanowire, where it suffers a localized expansion. Furthermore, both cases are also investigated in the presence of a magnetic field, where the reentrance also appears in higher energy channels. In the second part of this thesis, machine learning is applied to successfully determine physical parameters of two qubits in coupled semiconductor quantum dots, with the aim of locally measuring the qubits and reducing the necessary measurements performed in the laboratory. In the third part of the thesis, the study focuses on the interaction of distant qubits formed by quantum dots. These qubits are modeled by a spin chain with nearest neighbor interactions and the goal is to implement SWAP and CNOT quantum logic gates in this spin network. Finally, by using SWAP gates, it is possible to propagate quantum information along the spin chain. When noise effects are taken into account, there is a relevant difference in the order of application of the logic gates, which leads to an increase or decrease in the effectiveness of the application of quantum gates.Item type:Item, Espaços públicos de lazer e saúde mental em Ribeirão Preto, SP(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-02) ;Duarte, Maria Raquel Barbosa ;Masiero, Érico ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/2691827106518167 ;https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8665-335Xhttps://lattes.cnpq.br/4822460818474592Could the city contribute to the promotion of mental health? Would the availability and the quality of public open spaces enable their use for therapeutic purposes? The research objective is to investigate how outdoor recreation spaces can be used in mental health care - based on deinstitutionalization, on restoring community ties, on independence and on the psychosocial inclusion of the person in mental distress. This study aimed to identify different practices in the process of psychosocial rehabilitation held in open spaces; to verify the pros and cons of public open spaces in Ribeirão Preto, SP, Brazil in fostering CAPS users’ autonomy, well-being, and coexistence. The research contributes to the discussions on urban quality focusing on people in psychological distress. To this end, the research method consisted in compiling a history of mental health care facilities in the city since the 1940s until the establishment of the current Psychosocial Care Network. The integration between urban and mental health policies was verified in legislation at the national and local levels. Subsequently, plans and projects aimed at promoting mental health were analyzed. Next, we carried out a systematic review of the literature on therapeutic activities developed in open spaces in the Brazilian context, and the spatial characteristics that favor them. Lastly, leisure spaces around the Psychosocial Care Centers in Ribeirão Preto were evaluated using quali-quantitative criteria. The six criteria are: availability of leisure spaces close to mental health services, accessibility by public transport, pedestrian accessibility, land use, vegetation shading and availability of urban furniture. Information on these criteria was obtained through document analysis and on-site data collection of leisure spaces attributes. Based on the established diagnosis, guidelines related to the spatial dimension of Mental Health were indicated. Eight out of the twenty-one public open spaces studied were considered adequate. The main inadequacies of these places are related to the lack of accessibility by public transport and the absence of adequate urban furniture.Item type:Item, O serviço de convivência e fortalecimento de vínculos para pessoas idosas na assistência social e o período de isolamento devido a pandemia da covid 19(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-02) ;Concentino, Luiz Henrique ;Zazzetta, Marisa Silvana ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/2350656835896699 ;https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6544-767Xhttps://lattes.cnpq.br/0945601633029600The descriptive and exploratory research was carried out in Social Assistance Reference Centers (CRAS) of a city in the interior of the state of São Paulo. The CRAS performs basic social protection services in the territory, offers among the services offered to the population, opportunity of coexistence for people through the Service of Coexistence and Strengthening of Ties. The target audience of the research are elderly people who participated in the Service of Coexistence and Strengthening of Bonds. The objective is to describe the perception of elderly people about participation in the Service of Coexistence and Strengthening of Bonds, at the moment before the Covid-19 pandemic, considering strengths and challenges of face-to-face experiences, as well as verifying the existence of relationships between sociodemographic variables, mood and social support in social isolation in the Covid-19 pandemic. The theoretical framework used is based on historical-dialectical materialism. Data collection was performed with a sample of 30 elderly individuals in person. For the interview, a semi-structured questionnaire was used and two screening instruments were applied: the Minimum Map of Elderly Relationships (MMRI) and the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS). The results of the GDS showed that 26.7% presented signs of depressive symptoms and 73.3% did not present depressive signs. There was a moderate correlation between those who showed signs of depressive symptoms and younger elderly. It can also be identified that elderly who indicated perception of medium/low social support in the MMRI in emotional function (often), showed signs of mild depressive symptoms in their majority. It can be concluded that public policies offered to the elderly population, such as social groups, are spaces that offer social support, in addition to providing experiences in positive and pleasurable activities and thus end up benefiting mental health.Item type:Item, Estigma relacionado à Tuberculose: aplicação da Escala Tuberculosis-Related Stigma(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-02) ;Lucenti, Laís Xavier de ;Protti-Zanatta, Simone Teresinha ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/6772128930979370 ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/3061196869852347https://orcid.org/0009-0007-6920-6970Tuberculosis is a serious public health problem worldwide, it is estimated that in 2021, in the world, 10.6 million people will develop TB and 1.4 million will die from the disease. There are factors that interfere with adherence to treatment, such as the length of treatment being six months, non-acceptance of the disease, resistance to follow-up at health units, incorrect use of medications, and social stigma. The objective of this study was to investigate the stigma associated with tuberculosis, from the perspectives of the community and the patient in relation to the disease. This is a cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, carried out in the city of São Paulo, in Basic Health Units. The Tuberculosis-Related Stigma scale was applied to 69 individuals with pulmonary tuberculosis who had been on Directly Observed Treatment for more than 15 days. In the first stage of the study, we carried out a bibliographical survey to highlight the need to study tuberculosis and the stigma surrounding tuberculosis, and the second part of the study presents the statistical analysis of the collected data. The results indicate that of the 69 individuals, 46 (66.7%) agree that people prefer not to have someone with TB living in their neighborhood, 37 (53.6%) agree that the population keeps distance from people with TB and think that they cause disgust, 38 (55.1%) of the subjects agree that people do not want people with TB to play with their children, and do not want to talk to someone who has Tuberculosis, 29 (42.0%) agree that people with TB keeps distance from others to avoid transmission of the bacteria, 32 (46.4%) agree that people with TB feel hurt by the way others react when they know they have TB, and 29 (42.0%) strongly agree that people with TB choose carefully who they tell about their disease. The statistical analysis of data from the application of the scale shows that the scale measures the stigma associated with tuberculosis, which is associated with fear and prejudice.Item type:Item, Diretrizes para a educação ambiental e o plano plurianual de gestão da Etec de Ibaté (SP)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-02) ;Silva, Shirlei Gomes da ;Costa, Luzia Sigoli Fernandes ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/8110248272001369 ;https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8530-4000https://lattes.cnpq.br/6360424917459361The National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), the National Environmental Education Policy (PNEA), and the 2030 Agenda are documents that have pointed towards contemporary good educational practices. In this regard, the aim of this study was to analyze to what extent the Plurianual Management Plan (PPG) of the State Technical School (ETEC) in Ibaté-SP encompasses pedagogical and technical-scientific aspects in favor of Environmental Education (EE) based on reference documents. To achieve this, the study conducts a specific survey of literature convergence, identifies favorable aspects of science, technology, and pedagogical practices in EE, and analyzes recommendations from the BNCC, PNEA, and 2030 Agenda related to the practices developed in the Political-Pedagogical Project (PPP) and PPG. Methodologically, this study begins with scientific and academic investigation, alongside a thorough analysis of the listed documents. This approach reveals convergence and the presence of positive aspects among the documents, including the use of various technical approaches. This analysis emphasizes the need to strengthen EE both in theoretical and practical realms in the daily school context, recognizing its significance in cultivating environmental awareness and shaping active citizens in environmental advocacy. By presenting this analysis, the study aims to contribute to the enhancement of education quality in the school environment and to promote sustainable practices beyond the school community. Furthermore, it aims to validate the construction of new knowledge in Science, Technology, and Society (STS) through the identification of potential gaps and challenges in the process, stimulating reflection on a more conscious, critical, and sustainability-committed organizational culture.Item type:Item, Effect of measurement errors on double sampling S² control chart(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-02) ;Couto, Giselle Elias ;Oprime, Pedro Carlos ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/9291517431456908 ;https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6213-2223https://lattes.cnpq.br/3061782528251400Product quality can be understood as inversely proportional to the variability in its production process. The control chart is a well-established statistical tool for quantifying and analyzing this process' variability based on observed information about some of its measurable characteristics. To simplify the control chart application, some researchers and users assume that the data used to evaluate the process is accurate. However, since the construction and use of control charts are based on measurement and no measurement system is perfect, errors in the measured data are inevitable. Recent studies indicate that the Double Sampling control chart can be an alternative for process monitoring. However, there is still a lack of studies that investigate the impact of measurement errors on Double Sampling control chart to monitor process variability. Based on the preceding, the present work aims to study how the performance of the Double Sampling S² control chart is affected by the presence of measurement errors. Initially, a systematic review of the literature is proposed in order to explore studies on the subject. The main methodology of the research is mathematical modeling and simulation. A design modeling for considering measurement errors in the Double Sampling S² control chart is proposed. The impact on the average run length (ARL) for different measurement error values is verified through simulation. Using a genetic algorithm, we propose an optimization study of the Double Sampling S² control chart for operation with measurement errors. Finally, a simulation example is presented to verify using the Double Sampling S² chart with the optimized parameters. The results indicate that measurement error deteriorates the performance of the Double Sampling S² chart, and the impact rises as measurement error increases. The simulation analysis showed the advantage of using the optimized Double Sampling S² chart, particularly for larger measurement errors. The present study contributes to the practical application knowledge of the Double Sampling S² control chart, providing parameters for its use in the presence of measurement errors.Item type:Item, Estudo in vitro da inativação fotodinâmica dos microrganismos causadores da esporotricose(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-02) ;Rocha, Amanda Regina ;Bagnato, Vanderlei Salvador ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/4947860249518663 ;https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4833-239Xhttps://lattes.cnpq.br/6338455111772193Sporotrichosis is a zoonosis caused by Sporothrix spp., a fungus that causes a subcutaneous mycosis which can become systemic in immunocompromised individuals. Conventional treatment is based on the prolonged use of antifungals, which can cause many side effects and, to improve on this, it is necessary to study efficient alternatives. The present study aims to show the effectiveness of Antimicrobial Photodynamic Therapy (aPDT) using curcumin as a photosensitizer in the control of S. brasiliensis and S. schenckii, and Candida albicans as a comparative parameter for results. In addition to showing the best parameters for combining aPDT with traditional antifungals against these microorganisms. The fungi were illuminated via a Biotable® (lighting device with 24 evenly distributed LEDs) at a wavelength of 450 nm and a light dose of 31.5 J/cm² with photosensitizer concentrations ranging from 0.75 to 150 μg/mL of curcumin. After determining the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) of the itraconazole, ketoconazole and potassium iodide, antifungal therapy was combined with aPDT to verify whether subinhibitory doses of these drugs would be able to eliminate Sporothrix spp. Concentrations of 1.5 to 15 μg/mL of curcumin were used, and the dosages of the drugs reducing the dose from half of the MIC values obtained. An efficient protocol for the inactivation of all microorganisms studied was found with a single application of aPDT and with aPDT combined with conventional treatment. The best results were obtained with aPDT application prior to antifungals, causing the total elimination of the Sporothrix spp. in addition to C. albicans, even with underdoses of both the photosensitizer and antifungal drugs. To better understand the impact of the order of therapies, studies were made of the absorption spectrum of individual compounds and how the combination could influence the dynamics of photobleaching of these compounds. The present study suggests that aPDT using curcumin as a photosensitizer may be a promising alternative to combat sporotrichosis. This treatment would be especially effective in veterinary medicine to be applied in cats as an individual therapy or as a coadjuvant. In the combination of therapies, in vitro protocols result in a synergistic effect in the inactivation of microorganisms. This could improve the treatment of the disease, with a reduction in both the recuperation time and dosage of drugs used, significant benefits of this approach are overall cost reductions and lessened side effects due to preventing the prolonged use of antifungals, while achieving an effective overall treatment.Item type:Item, AMARU - Redes de Colaboração em Terapia Ocupacional na América Latina(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-02) ;Passoni, Thayla Gabriele Pereira ;Silva, Carla Regina ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/6417501858864106 ;https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7079-8340https://lattes.cnpq.br/6072768661908620The present work aims to present the analyzes and discussions carried out by the research “AMARU - Collaboration Networks in Occupational Therapy in Latin America”. The application of metallic thin films through cathodic sputtering is widely used in various fields, including industrial part coating, cosmetic and decorative finishes, food packaging, jewelry, photovoltaic systems, and academic research. To address this need, a circuit was proposed consisting of an uncontrolled rectifier, followed by a controlled inverter with PWM filtering, a 60 Hz step-up transformer for high voltage, and an uncontrolled rectifier at the transformer’s secondary. This work presents the schematic diagram and printed circuit board (PCB) design of the power supply, the implemented control strategy, and simulation results analyzing the system’s performance. The simulations demonstrated that the system possesses the required characteristics for the sputtering process, operating safely under varying voltage levels and load conditions.Item type:Item, Construindo o turismo de base comunitária na Ilha das Couves em Ubatuba, SP (Brasil)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-05) ;Rosa, Thais Felipe ;Alfonso, Maria Josefa Pastor ;https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8820-8073 ;Costa, Luzia Sigoli Fernandeshttps://lattes.cnpq.br/8110248272001369This research investigated the socioeconomic practice of tourism associated with the conservation of cultural and natural heritage on Ilha das Couves, located in Ubatuba, on the northern coast of São Paulo, Brazil. The focus was on Community- Based Tourism, which emphasizes the active participation of traditional communities in planning more sustainable tourism activities. The study prioritized listening to the Caiçara community of Vila de Picinguaba, a pioneer in the construction and organization of this tourism model on Ilha das Couves, as well as other stakeholders involved. The island has faced problems arising from mass tourism since 2016, which resulted in the degradation of its natural and cultural heritage. These challenges began to be resolved in 2019, with the adoption of normative ordinances prepared by institutions such as the Forestry Foundation, the APA Marinha, the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office of Caraguatatuba, the Traditional Communities Forum, and the local community involved in tourism itself. The ordinances (315/2019, 323/2020, 328/2021, 350/2022, 387/2023) established guidelines for controlling and organizing the flow of tourists, as well as for the sustainable use of space. Based on these measures, the Caiçara community of Vila de Picinguaba, together with the Traditional Communities Forum, structured proposals for Community- Based Tourism for the Island. At the time this research was carried out, the organization had 52 members, 38 of whom were boatmen and 14 professionals that were majority women who worked in tourist reception. The research used qualitative methods, including 66 semi-structured interviews — 21 conducted online and 45 in person — with community leaders, members of local communities, representatives of public and private institutions, tourists and others involved in Community-Based Tourism. In addition, four technical visits were made to the region to collect data on site, following the guidelines of the World Health Organization and respecting the interests of local communities. Through a literature review and interviews with the various stakeholders in the network, it was found that Community-Based Tourism, combined with monitoring the island's support capacity, was essential to promoting sustainable tourism development. This model generated cooperation and motivation around common goals. It is important to note that each community has unique characteristics and must independently define the best way to implement its Community-Based Tourism itinerary, considering that this process is gradual and requires support from municipal, state and federal government spheres.Item type:Item, Os Limites da BNCC para o Ensino de Ciências a partir da experiência da práxis autêntica freireana.(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-05) ;Simon, Gimena Andressa Venturini ;Silva, Antonio Fernando Gouvêa da ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/9621931288117213 ;https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8915-9952https://lattes.cnpq.br/0630944062120274Science teaching has a history of approaches that, influenced by Brazilian pedagogical trends, differ in their curricular conceptions, many of which are traditional and banking, which end up distancing, relativizing and dichotomizing students' scientific knowledge. And opposition to progressive practices whose principle is based on the subjects' worldview. The National Common Curricular Base - BNCC presents a proposal aligned with a liberal perspective, which suggests contents and strategies based on a pre-established cut of reality. With these perspectives, this research comes to question to what extent, the BNCC as a curricular proposal for science teaching, contemplates the concrete experiences of the students, including their contradictory world views and participation in the construction of an authentic praxis? We sought to synthesize connecting principles between Scientific and Technological Education, Curriculum and the Critical Freirean Perspective and Walter Benjamin's concept of Authentic Experience. As a methodological process, a qualitative and critical analysis of the discourse present in the BNCC document was carried out, in the area of Science Teaching in the Final Years of Elementary School. As a results, it was noted that there is not, in fact, a refusal of the subjects' worldview, but there is a cut of reality that does not necessarily come from the subjects, since they are pre-defined in competences and structural abilities throughout of learning cycles and based on objects of knowledge that organize the pedagogical proposal, making the experience of knowledge construction not formative, but reproductive. It is impoverished in experience and authenticity.Item type:Item, Redes socioassistenciais e atendimento à pessoa idosa: uma análise da proteção social em um município de médio porte(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-06) ;Campos, Michelle de Cassia ;Zazzetta, Marisa Silvana ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/2350656835896699 ;https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6544-767Xhttps://lattes.cnpq.br/9326639417380399Longevity brings important challenges for society, especially with regard to ensuring a better quality of life for the older adults. The social and family support network are proven relevant factors for reducing the risk of frailty and mortality. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between sociodemographic conditions, family structure and social support networks and to analyze the perception, care, reception offered by social assistance equipment and the representativeness of these services for the older adults, in a municipality of the state of Minas Gerais. This is a cross-sectional, observational, descriptive study with a quantitative and qualitative approach, based on the assumptions of the concomitant mixed method of investigation. The study included 80 people aged 60 years or over, of both sexes, users of the social assistance services of the CRAS and CREAS in the municipality. For data collection, semi-structured interviews were carried out in face-to-face format, and the following instruments were applied: genogram, ecomap and Tilburg frailty indicator and minimal map of relationships. According to the results obtained, the highest percentage of participants are female aged between 60 and 70 years, white, married, with low education, retired, with income up to one minimum wage. The results show us that 78.75% of respondents have children and 47.50% live in households with up to two members. The highest percentage of respondents has frailty and the physical domain stands out; have a close relationship with people who live in the same home and the highest density of the support network is centered on the family, it was found that although all respondents are users of social assistance services and responded positively when asked about reception and the representativeness of these services, does not identify them as a support network. It is concluded, therefore, that it is necessary to advance in the social support offered to the older adults, to broaden our perception of their physical, emotional and psychological needs. Public policies aimed at this population urgently need to be reformulated so that longevity also means quality of life.Item type:Item, Contribuição de lipídios no perfil diferencial de organelas de embriões bovinos produzidos in vitro(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-06) ;Annes, Kelly ;Sudano, Mateus ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/7831568807365858 ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/1945811068525845https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2942-4865Item type:Item, Programa gestão nota 10: implicações para a gestão democrática na rede estadual de educação do Piauí(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-06) ;Araújo, Rafaela de Morais ;Ramos, Géssica Priscila ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/2573340489166336 ;https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1254-4510https://lattes.cnpq.br/5308403060464579This research problematizes the public-private management in education, based on the partnership signed between the Department of Education of the State of Piauí and the Ayrton Senna Institute. Its central objective is to analyze the adherence to the Management Program Note 10 - PGN10 by the referred state, debating the implications of the same for the democratic management and, consequently, for the management of the public school, from 2008 to 2017 – period of its validity in the state. The specific objectives sought: to analyze the relationship established between the public and the private, from the context of the State Reform in Brazil and its reflexes for the use of public-private partnership as a new educational management tool; to analyze the context of creation, the structure, the functioning and the political and ideological foundations of the Ayrton Senna Institute, identifying the school management model in its Management Program Note 10; specify the school management model of the State Public Education Network of Piauí defined in local legislation and regulations. To carry out this study, an investigation of qualitative approach was defined, based on documentary research with bibliographic support. This was accomplished through the use of content categories (Management Model and Mechanisms; Training of Managers; Provision of Director Position) as analysis tools. To achieve the objectives, we analyzed the documents made available by the Ayrton Senna Institute to the partner schools (site materials, manuals, spreadsheets, forms, printed texts), as well as important documents in the configuration of the educational policy of Piauí. Authors such as: Adrião (2001; 2008; 2018), Caetano; Peroni (2022), Luz (2009); Silva (2019) and Paro (2002; 2011; 2015). Regarding the category Management Model and Mechanisms, the data pointed to the impact of the Program on local democratic management, achieved by the private management model. With regard to the category Training of Managers, it was observed the use of the strategy of creation of the leader, as a supposed "protagonist" of civil society, devaluing the role of the school manager in the educational context. With regard to the category Provision of Director Positions, there was a retreat in democratic processes and the advancement and expansion of partnerships with the private sector, intensifying control over public educational management, in the name of the discourse built on "efficiency and management by results" strengthened by the Management Program Note 10. From these results, it was found a greater centralization in the processes of choice for school directors implemented by SEDUC-PI, causing changes in the scope of the management of the state education network, minimizing the autonomy of the school community. Therefore, this Program had a significant impact on the management of education in Piauí, creating obstacles to the promotion of democratic management in its education network.Item type:Item, Análise geológica e ambiental dos processos erosivos em Aparecida de Goiânia (GO)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-06-06) ;Fernandes, Rodrigo Luiz Gallo ;Masiero, Érico ;https://lattes.cnpq.br/2691827106518167 ;Ferreira, Marcilene Dantashttps://lattes.cnpq.br/1557946634389893The conceptions of urban territorial planning encompass the behavior of the soil, the dynamics of fluvial and rainfall waters, and the proposition of measures for environmental preservation and control of negative impacts on urban occupation. Erosion can be considered the main consequence of misuse and misunderstanding of urban occupation, especially in urban centers, causing problems such as drainage siltation, poor water quality, land loss, among others. The main objective of this study was the environmental geological survey of erosive problems in the municipality of Aparecida de Goiânia, in the state of Goiás, Brazil. Specifically, spatial and temporal analysis of erosive processes, inventory mapping of erosive processes, environmental geological characterization of the study area, land use and occupation in the municipality, and analysis of relevant legislation were conducted. Methodologically, literature surveys, photointerpretation, erosion monitoring, and geological material characterization were performed. Existing data from previous studies and photointerpretation were used for the inventory of erosive features. Monitoring of selected erosions was carried out from April 2022 to February 2023, along with photographic records and geological material characterization. Regarding legislation, despite the municipality having strict laws regarding occupation near streams and springs, a lack of enforcement by the public authorities was noticed, allowing occupation in these areas. The study showed that erosive features occur on highly weathered shale materials, which give rise to easily erodible saprolites. The analysis of erosive feature inventories revealed that the behavior of erosive processes varied over the years, in accordance with urbanization evolution. The increase in impermeability and territorial occupation, which occurred without the installation of necessary basic infrastructure, led to a change in the development of erosive processes, observed from the year 2017. It was concluded that the dynamics of erosive processes in the municipality were adequately characterized, especially regarding its relationship with the urbanization process. On the other hand, there was a difficulty in reversing this situation, which may be due to technical and/or political issues, as municipal interventions for erosion control and recovery have proved to be ineffective.
