Práticas da terapia ocupacional junto a familiares de pacientes em cuidados paliativos hospitalizados

Palliative care consists of a set of practices based on knowledge of various specialties, in which the focus of care is not based on pathology, but on the promotion of health and symptom control for all patients facing life-threatening situations. The patient's singularities are taken into consideration, as well as the care for the patient's environment, which includes the family, caregivers, and the health team, since they are also susceptible to suffering. This study sought to describe the role of the occupational therapist with family caregivers of patients in palliative care in the hospital setting. This is a descriptive research, of qualitative approach, in which five occupational therapists working in hospitals in the state of São Paulo, with experience in palliative care for at least one year, were interviewed. For data collection, the Snowball method was applied, and the information obtained was worked on by thematic analysis. It was obtained from the participation of 5 occupational therapists who presented an average time of work in the hospital area corresponding to 11 years and an average time of work in palliative care referring to 7 years. Specifically about the work with families, the participants expressed the role of occupational therapy, and 4 themes emerged, as follows a) Routine of the family member - this theme encompassed expressions about the occupational therapeutic work of evaluation and management of the impacts on the family dynamics generated by the occupation "caring" and by the hospitalization process itself; b)(Re)Construction of coping strategies - this theme involved expressions about the role of the occupational therapist aimed at promoting re-signification of experiences and promoting embracement as a way to enable coping; c) Instrumentalization of care - included notes about the role of empowering the family caregiver to perform procedures involved in daily care and to organize the environment in a more functional manner; d) Mourning - in this theme, expressions were considered referring to the role of offering support to the experience of bereavement based on the perspective of an emptying of activities associated with the role of caring and the reorganization of the routine considering the losses experienced and the singularities of each subject. From the data obtained, we observed an occupational therapist focus on routine modifications, based on the understanding of caring as an occupation that involves emotional and instrumental aspects and that can tend to promote an unbalance in the occupational repertoire, a factor that denotes that the occupational therapist has been performing interventions based on the technical repertoire of his core of knowledge in favor of the integrality of care and quality of life of the family members.
Identificação de bolhas em ações de bancos comerciais do mercado de capitais brasileiro

The actions of speculators can generate divergences between the market price of an asset and its fundamental price, creating speculative bubbles. This study aimed to verify whether the actions of the four largest commercial banks traded on the Brazilian stock exchange are less susceptible to price exuberance than stocks from different sectors in the same market. To date possible periods of bubbles in the selected stocks, the Generalized Supremum Augmented Dickey-Fuller (GSADF) right-tailed test model was adopted with the addition of a Wild Bootstrap process, as indicated by Phillips and Shi (2020). Based on the found results, and on international literature about the subject, it was verified that the chosen banking stocks are more resistant to price exuberance than stocks from other sectors of the Brazilian economy. At the 5% confidence interval, no bubble event was detected for banking stocks, while some cases were found for the remaining sectors stocks. In order to further test this resistance, a test with a 10% confidence interval was also adopted, where some bubble events were found for both types of stocks. The conclusion of this study is useful for investors that operate in the Brazilian stock market, as well as for stakeholders of the analyzed banks, since they can use this information to better position themselves in the market and build more appropriate portfolios, reducing their exposure to speculative risks.
“Casa da memória”: a escritura como arquivo e mal de arquivo em La fatiga del sol, de Luciano González Egido

Esta tesis tiene el objetivo de analizar la escritura como archivo y mal de archivo en La fatiga del sol (1996), novela de memoria contemporánea del escritor español Luciano González Egido. A partir de los estudios sobre los elementos espaciales relacionados con la constitución de la memoria, es posible observar la relación intrínseca entre la memoria de lugares (HALBWACHS, 2006) como fuerza motriz de Abdón, el narrador protagonista, para constituir un lugar de memoria (NORA, 1993). La constitución del lugar de memoria se da a través del trabajo que el narrador escribe sobre las memorias individuales y colectivas de sus familiares muertos – insertados en el contexto histórico de una España marcada por la transitoriedad del gobierno republicano, por la Guerra (1936- 1939) y por la Posguerra Civil Española (1939-1975). De esta forma, la obra escrita del narrador Abdón se constituye como un archivo que engloba la memoria y la identidad de la “familia Abdón”, esencialmente republicana. La escritura que archiva enganchada al mal de archivo es pensada desde los presupuestos de la deconstrucción en las obras De la gramatología (2017) y Mal de archivo: una impresión freudiana (2001), de Jacques Derrida. Ante ello, el análisis pretende defender la hipótesis de que el discurso escrito de Abdón es archivo y mal de archivo atravesado a la vez por los acontecimientos y las borraduras de la historia “vencida” de la “familia Abdón”.
Distinção entre traficante e usuário: influência de fatores extrajurídicos no processo decisório judicial

The research aims to study how the Judiciary has framed the conduct of agents in the crime of drug trafficking and the elements used to differentiate dealer-user, seeking to identify whether and to what extent extra-legal factors affect the outcome of this decision. The research analyzes how Law nº 11.343/2006 (Drug Law) has been applied in the first instance in the Court of Justice of São Paulo, describing the reasoning of decisions in legal categories (those based on legal issues), jurisprudence (based on jurisprudence or doctrine) and extrajuridical (thus considered those that have no legal or jurisprudential basis). The work dialogues with studies that investigated the application of the drug law in Brazil, and uses the theoretical framework on judicial decision-making behavior. In empirical terms, 161 sentences handed down in the first instance in December 2019, from criminal courts in six municipalities of different sizes in the State of São Paulo, were analyzed. The main conclusion is that the use of factors classified in this research as extra-legal predominate in decisions, and their use is even more recurrent in decision-making for the conviction of defendants for trafficking.
